Please, no more interactions where survivors need to hold M1 for an entire minute.
It would be optional though. Unlike Legion you won't be forced to hold M1 to remove blades, but it would be advised to remove the blades.

I think Spirit could use something like that (a better idea would be to have her glimpses shown to the survivors) but Deathslinger needs his chase power to be a good killer. At the cost of being the most powerful zoner and one of the best chasers in the game, he suffers from horrible 1v4.

I really hope we get a funny outcome from this thread.
Anyways, I gotta say chocolate cake. And I think cheesecake is indeed a cake. And for something random (not about me, sorry, I couldn't think of anything about meself)...
Your profile picture is very fancy.

My only issue with Meg is that she doesn't look serious enough.

I wish that were the case. She looks like a middle aged mother who has been through a divorce after finding her husband in a massage parlor.
I personally think it's an improvement but to each their own.
I don't blame you for being upset, I didn't like the changes they made to my main Yui at first but looked at her more and actually grew onto the changes, and consider them to be improvements.

I don't think so. Solely because they really did change how she looks completely.
She looks mostly the same facial-wise. I admit her expression in her idle animation isn't the best, but other than that Kate isn't bad.
-
Yeah I don't think I'm going to be playing Trickster more than I used to. He used to be fun to play as (albeit very overlooked in the playerbase) and fun to play against IMO, now he's just miserable to play as and against.
I hope BHVR thinks the changes through, they went too overboard on them. However I will give them credit on the add-on updates.

Let me ######### on your floor.. i am sure it will be annoying at first but you will get used to it and learn to live with it.
Oh come on, it's not that bad. It could have been WAY worse.

Love even more after the rework BHVR made him hotter
Yeah I love Jake's rework, they made him look like a different person but kept his charm.

Eh, I think she's alright, just gotta get used to change.

I swear if they ruin yet another fine character for a publicity stunt...
Jake being homosexual isn't going to change my view on him, he's still going to be the same Jake we all know and love.

Holy ######### this thread got huge fast
-
The game runs a bit better, less freezes from what it seems, and that's about it. I'd talk about my opinions on the Trickster changes and the survivor model reworks but since this is about bug fixes/bugs then I probably shouldn't talk about them.

Ehh... Badham does have a lot of safe pallets. But you're welcome. I apologize if I sounded rude.

I have tried adapting to Wraith but I can find a single counter to him pallets don't work flashlights hardly work on him what else is there.
Here are some tips:
- Don't use unsafe pallets against him.
- Loop him with decent pallets.
- Use windows, they hinder him heavily.
- Run Spine Chill so you get a notification to when he's coming, allowing you to get to a window or a pallet before he can get that free hit on you.
-
The DBD gods thought you were selfish to do that, and gave you a second chance to actually help your teammates out.
Maybe use that opportunity to adapt to Wraith?

With the chapter 20 release, bot matches were added after the tutorials so you can try out what you've learned in a more match-like setting.
With this mid-chapter, the tutorials themselves have been completely remade (e.g. the thing that teaches you what generators, hooks, etc. are).
Will they still reset my cosmetics and perks? Just wanna make sure before I check them out.
-
Stretched res is cheating if you use it for the advantage, and using it for an advantage (unless it's for comp play where people allow it) shouldn't be normalized. I may think that it's okay to use stretched res for better performance or for ultrawide monitors, but I don't think using it for the advantage is okay at all.

Most of them are cool, some of them are meh.
Also they butchered Dweard.

Contrast on giving it such a long time before you posted your premade decision. Not ever killer will be weak, not every killer will follow the basic M1 loops.
It's a nice change, rewards good loopers that can block line of sight
Opinions can change overtime.
He's still going to struggle in high wall loops and you have to worry about your blade count. Also, that's going to make Trickster easier to loop because the laceration decays quickly.
-
Who you callin' pinhead?
-
Clown's is really cool tbh, I like his fancy hat.
Reminds me of a particular free thing worn by new players in a certain game...Elodie actually looks kinda badass, I like it.
Huntress's skin is an interesting take of a corrupted default outfit (excluding the Hallowed Blight outfits).
Jake and Ace look pretty average but at least Jake has shades and Ace has a nice shirt.
-
44 is such a weird number. I'm not really bothered by it, but it's weird.
-
If you like the map then that's fine, you're entitled to your own opinions. I personally dislike the map but like its visuals.
Here's my take: I'm genuinely tired of indoor maps and was hoping to get a cool outdoor map that would be fun for mobility killers, but it's an absolute misery to play Billy and Blight on RPD as well as most non-stealth killers (they're not as bad as Billy and Blight in this case though). It encourages survivors to hold W more because of the maze-like design of it, not being able to see where the tiles are in an open area. I would say the complaints about the map are justified, but DCing to abandon your teammates just because of that map is selfish.
At least Midwich and even The Game is more friendly for the mobility killers.

This is really seem like Chucky but i dont know.
He was actually the first thing that came into my mind when I saw that. Chucky would be awesome.

- The Clown is unironically a fun killer to play as, and a decent killer in terms of power. In fact, I would consider him to be one of the most fun killers to play as.
- For 5.0.x, not PTB 5.1.0: Although he is weak, The Trickster is a fun killer to play as and against.
- Despite the reasonable hatred towards it, Billy's roar is awesome.
- Lithe is an annoying perk to go against, but is still a balanced perk.
- Mindbreaker is actually a good perk.
- Although it was justified to remove the J-flick (Z-flick is still alive), it did indeed have fun and interactive counterplay.

I mean, no reason not to be in for this. However, It would have to go over particular cosmetics so that BHVR doesn't lose money if others could see them (aka there would be little to no reason to buy BHVR's cosmetics).
-
They're powerful against solos from what I've seen, not sure about SWF though. They have powerful map pressure, good slugging potential, and Victor is an anti-looping powerhouse.
-
It honestly annoys me when people say Blight has a short cooldown, and I'm tired of it. He doesn't have a short cooldown, for the Entity's sake. His cooldown is shorter when you use less charges. His cooldown in general takes 1000 years to regenerate after using 5 tokens.
What about Demo? It has a slightly shorter cooldown than Blight for its mobility and good chase. In simple terms, it's pretty much Freddy with a cooldown 10 times shorter and a different type of chase, as well as more interactive counterplay. Time to nerf Demo I guess.
-
All we know so far is that they'll break pallets and pick up survivors in a unique way, according to Almo.

I know, but other companies have achieved good ports on nintendo switch, I think there are no excuses when seeing games like doom or the witcher, graphically inferior, but with a decent performance, and the RE map is basically the problem
I agree, I think if they perfectly optimize DBD on every platform it's on, DBD on Switch will be able to run at a stable 1080p 30fps docked and 720p 30fps undocked, or even 720p 60fps.
God DBD Switch running at 720p 60fps would be a dream come true.
-
To be fair it's gonna be quite difficult to optimize the game on Switch, especially since it's like, way inferior in terms of specs compared to the last and current gen consoles. Also it might have to do with the RPD map.

Idk I've been noticing it for literally years on 40-65ms cabled connection so if that's the problem then ######### am I even meant to do to get it faster
From what it seems, the regular braindead hits through pallets and windows are just usual DBD stuff that I hope the mid-chapter will fix. 40-65ms is fine btw.
-
I'm excited for Clown's lore expansion but I'm not really a fan of Jake so I don't really care about his lore. From what I've seen, Clown is just straight-up evil with his father being at fault. We'll see tho.
-
Autodidact + Second Wind is pretty damn fun, especially after the minor buff that Second Wind got in the 4.5.0 patch.
-
If you're encountering it more and more, it's probably on your end (aka your internet).
-
Proximity chat should be a custom game feature. Would be fun as hell.
-
The new ones are an absolute evolution compared to the old ones. However I would like for them to allow survivors to move their heads in more of the animations.
-
"All-Seeing" - Blood could use a rework to an entirely new add-on, but I think his swift add-ons are fine.
-

My main problem is just how jank hit detection and survivor movement are. Curve around a wall? Nah, you actually wanted to collide with thin air. Backrev someone? Guess what, they unlocked the ability to teleport.
Yeah his hitboxes are quite weird.

Yeah, the overheat wasn't really a problem before they decided to nerf it for whatever reason.
I don’t even think it should be removed entirely, it should just prevent you from camping someone with the chainsaw 99ed and that's it.
Exactly, overheat has the potential to be a good mechanic.
-
For some reason Wraith seems to do a decent job at cleaning in Haddonfield, with his only vulnerability being the house of pain.
-
STBFL. Really great perk for Doc since he's an M1 killer.
Brutal Strength is also decent since survivors will predrop pallets to counter shock therapy, but I'd still go for STBFL.

Drift add-ons are very fun!
...except whenever I get an indoor map, I feel constant pain. But yeah the Drift King is very fun.

Red ranks ain't mean #########. Wraith won't stand a chance in top MMR.

It's a shame because old Freddy actually had a scary dream world. Current Freddy's dream world is just "area where you hold W." Old Freddy's dream world was scary to be in because of how unpredictable Freddy could be. He could see your frickin' aura damnit, and it was harder to do gens.

As miserable as he is to play as, he's pretty damn fun. Saying this as a PC player because idk if console Billy is as enjoyable.
