As a survivor main I both despair and laugh when I see blood warden pop up at the escape. I'm always like "YUP that's my luck, it tracks." I like it.

Thanataphobia works on Barflady and Stabkids, as it utilizes their ability to remain relevant, but the actual amount of time Thana adds to gen repair isn't actually a big deal. Even with Thana, a good team will know that it's still better to just bang out gens and disregard healing.
Blight + Tinkerer, on the other hand, gives rapid and strong results that are nearly impossible to ignore. Combined with Ruin, that makes the whole combo much stronger than other such combos with different Killers and Perks.
Barflady and Stabkids.

I prefer to play stealthy too, so I would also recommend Windows if you suck at looping. However, I would also add IW and Q&Q to the deal. I've lost a LOT of killers just because Q&Q proc'd at exactly the right time.

Lots of big loopy pallets, and it takes time to climb to some of those gens, and also people blend into that environment A LOT...

I was on there as plague today and yeah it took about 20min. I mean infecting objects only lasts for 35sec so I was just... hoping I'd come across somebody and snowball. 2 people DC'd. Lol.

I respect putting a trap near a hook, I get it. You wanna secure a hit. But if you put like ten around the survivor, that's overkill. IDK if she needs a nerf necessarily, just ... like yeah, I don't know how to change that but I'd *like it* if it was changed.

First check if they showed up in the lobby all at the same time or not. If they all showed up at the same time good chance it's an SWF.
Next obvious signs are the player names. SWFs will often have matching or complementary names.
Next they may dress up to look the same.
If someone brings a key and another brings a map it might be an SWF.
If someone brings a key, someone brings a hatch offering, and someone brings a map offering it's probably an SWF.
Next, in match if someone has OOO it might be an SWF, but ever since the nerf nobody actually uses OOO anymore.
Well that's it really. Some people are super paranoid they check out the Steam ID of each player and see if they are friends. Neurotic bunch of killers all.
In most cases SWF doesn't matter. If you're at a point where you are so newb to killer that you have to ask, you are not going to be facing any SWF commando squads. That only happens when you're a Rank 1 killer. Any SWF you run into will be a bunch of newb survivors who have no idea what they're doing and are hiding in the corners whenever you come near.
If the enemy team performs well and seems coordinated taht isn't necessarily an SWF either. I've been accused of SWF just because I bring Blood Pact, Aftercare, Kindred and Open Handed. This build gives so much information to your teammates they can perform really well if they know what they are doing. Experience solo queue survivors can act in extremely coordinated ways if they have aura information to work on.
I am definitely so n00b to killer that I have to ask.

But yeah, I usually don't care about swf, I care more for ttvs (I usually avoid them so I check their profile to see if they have a twitch link).
Not because they carry items means that they are swf.
But sometimes pay attention to their name, I've encountered people actually referencing the other players names.
Yeah I watch for that too, I noticed as a survivor when I glance at peoples names.
One time there was a couple that was "Prepare for Trouble" and the other one was "Make it Double." Cute.

Honestly same. I don't feel like demeaning myself by going over to the exit gates to watch the survivors teabag. I don't go in the basement but just the middle of the map.
A lot of people on here, including me, aren't toxic at the end in the gate. I tend to nod at the killer if they seem respectful, but that's not reciprocated 99% of the time.

Before the change all hexes would be renewed on dull totems until no one is left but now it will only transfer once.
Meaning its practically the same totem twice but since the totems spots are pretty bad most of the times the one extra totem doesnt matter that much for me.
Heck? This makes me want to not run Undying now. I guess it's fine if Ruin gets a second chance but it seems somewhat useless.

Personally i dont like undying after the nerf. If a hex gets cleansed for me, the next one is almost always following some seconds later.
I rarely get value out of it so imo its better to just run ruin and maybe pop as a back up.
But i am extremly unlucky with totems anyway, they are always gone 20 econds into the match for me. :(
Hold on, I missed this. What happened to Undying? I didn't know it got nerfed.

I don't mind Badham either, it's at least bareable despite having God House, but just seeing it alongside those other offerings just made me suffer.
Is Badham decent as a killer? I die every time I play survivor and get that map, figuratively and literally. I think it's my least favorite.

Sure, it used to be easier for survivors to hide back when the map was darker, but what good is hiding realistically? Teams don't win by Urban Evasioning behind rocks. I see no reason to believe this was actually a significant advantage.
Dead at 8AM: The Killers are too lazy to chase anyone and instead sit down to have a continental breakfast while the survivors are in the kitchen.

I'm not fond of Nemesis' music, for some reason.
I like PH's, but I get happy when I hear regular TR music too. That means I have to guess what killer it is.
Or, you know. Spy on them with Kindred.

As a survivor playing against Demo I'm one of the only survs who doesn't cleanse his portals because I'm pretty sure he can see your aura when you do so I just avoid them.
I have seen some Demos set up a portal in the basement (Like pre setup, not just when they have a survivor hooked down there)
And of course the classic "put portals right next to the exit gate" thing.

Because I don't use them unless I have literally nothing else to use. It seems like some people get use out of them though, judging by this thread. So that's... good, I guess?

One time my friends and I did 4 max fog offerings for the fun of it. It... didn't do anything.
So yeah I'm pretty sure they're useless. RIP.

Yesterday, when I was playing as killer, a bunch of random ######### happened that I'm pretty sure isn't supposed to happen, like my direct hits completely going through the character models, like legit go through them. But I didn't report them, because this game is whack like that.

I recently just feel ball and chain to bt and ds as well because the timing in solo a lot of times just forces unhooks.
The abundance of meta builds lately takes away the fun of build varieties, a big part of the fun I have in dbd and I find myself dying a ton while trying to be casual and creative.
I feel you. I usually always run Kindred & Iron Will. If I wasn't so jaded against my teammates I might still run BT LOL but currently I don't. I'm always questioning whether it's really necessary to take an exhaustion perk with me too.
