iT HAPPENED AGAIN.
WHAT EVEN.
(This time they died because... they were the first hook.)

OP your build is quite good and I would have a challenge if I went against you. For my fun if that happens, please consider running Zanshin Tactics next time you play kthx.
You got it! As soon as I can unlock Z. Tactics on her...

My experience has almost universally been soloQ except for maybe a couple months when I had a SWF. I don't mind it; for me it's the default way to play and I think it's intended to be that way. I just think it's annoying that, for me, it's imperative to drag Kindred along for the ride because otherwise I would be blind.

I was in a match yesterday where killer was tunneling this Claudette and I did everything I could to stand in between them and took a hook for her. Then I realized she was really clicky with the flashlight and assumed that was the reason why lol She unhooked me which was cool, but I wasn't about to take the fall for her again so I went and did other things instead. I usually just won't participate if people are being mean to the killer.

It's funny that Starstruck is a Trickster perk. When Trapper or Oni have it, sure I'd be Starstruck in their presence. But skinny teenage-looking Trickster? 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮
HARDCORE same. I take one look at him and I'm pretty much the opposite of starstruck lol.

WHAT SCUM?!?!?!?
I'm kidding.
People should be allowed to play what they want, but it doesn't mean that it can't be OP.
If... that makes sense. I don't want it to seem as if I'm bashing OP secretly. I'm not
You're good. It's OP.
But they're the only good perks I have in her thing at the same time, RIP. I guess I'll just have to keep grinding the bloodweb.
-
imagine being able to use starstruck as a survivor and stunning the killer any time they get close.

You could try body blocking the Survivors to let the Killer hit them. Don't rescue them. But in reality, you shouldn't really help the Killer in general. Those same Survivors could report you for helping the Killer and take video evidence to prove it. Honestly, the best way to help is to just do your objective and get the gates open to force the game to end sooner. Help the Killer by not holding the game hostage for longer than it has to be. There's not much that can be done to change the attitude of a few rotten apples. They do it because in most situations, they can get away with it.
Forgot about that ... opening gates it is I guess!
Is bullying reportable? Like it just seems unsportsmanlike and it doesn't even equate to tunneling or camping because we've already done all our objectives.

So u want to give mercy... without giving mercy?
I mean I'll die on hook if that's what it takes but bullying teams do often come in for the save. If I just let go and not do skillchecks when I figure out my team is bullying that's what I'll do ig.

That is remarkably bad luck, I am so sorry.

Thanks guys!

That was almost unintelligible. But I'll just respond to the title and say I respectfully disagree.

Also using fishy spirit is justify everything you do btw since the skin got awesome bubbles.
Bubbles are awesome.
I LOVE the bubbly thing, it's so cute. I take a minute to stand still sometimes just to listen to them. Lol.

Taking Iron Will off on Jeff is a death sentence lol, but lets see how it goes
I played Jeff while trying to level him up to get all perks on him and I died every time Iron Will didn't come up in my bloodweb.

Wait for people bashing you for your build.
Also waiting for it.
I can't for the life of me get BBQ on her web for some reason. But that won't help. Lol.

I've never seen anyone but bubbas use it to camp the basement, so my experience and opinions on it are very biased and very negative. I'd love to see it in action the way Ghouled_Mojo described though.
-
Thank you everyone! I'll put this all to the test and see which killer really clicks with me.
-
Since people are mentioning race: Can we have a Filipino character? Or Samoan?
-
Another guy to break up the #TeamFelix vs #TeamDavid debate. For the funsies.
-
I've done it twice during RE chapter alone, so I suppose you've just had exceptionally bad luck this time around.
-
I like Legion. This makes me sad.
-
1.) Solo Q
2.) Killer
3.) SWF
That's my impression.
-
To make sure my teammates made it out or to press F for the one poor soul who didn't make it out. Once that's done, I leave.
-
Yeah, it's endgame. As annoying as it is to be the one on that hook with you staring at me and my teammates running around doing nothing, I wouldn't expect a killer (you) to be doing anything else, especially since you didn't have NOED and the other survivors weren't injured. It sounds like you did well!

Surprisingly I don't. I'll have certain perks I like to keep on specific builds, but I tend to rotate a lot.
Right now, I'm grinding Chris and Claire out. Chris is running Flashbang (I always keep at least one unique perk), Inner Strength, Quick & Quiet, and Head On. Claire is running Blast Mine, Resurgence, Bite The Bullet, and Iron Will. And in those builds, I'm only running Quick & Quiet because it's a locker build and Iron Will because it's a nice addition to Bite The Bullet.
Good to know someone else is also a fan of combining Iron Will and BtB. I thought I was just weird for liking it.
(I mean I am weird, but still.)

Been eyeing this thread all day and now I'm wondering if this post was just bait to get the forum heated.

Cheryl, Jill, Felix and Jake or Yun-Jin.

This is so funny to me. It puts a whole new spin on that tunneling argument "do gens and escape." I mean, I would hate it, but I would hate it in a good way.
-
Sometimes I think about using those perks and I've been playing for a while. Even though they're beginner perks, it's nice to switch stuff around once in a while, and it's especially helpful if for some reason I feel like I'm going to 3-gen the next match.

Play Killer. Feed BP to your Killers and survivors, especially during events. Done. After that, you just grind out new perks as they release.
Thank you!

I'm pretty sure if you have a link to that particular stream you can submit it as video evidence on a ticket.

On Mikey I rotate his build a lot because he's very versatile with perks that work on him. I don't have a crutch perk on him.
On Dweet my build is Bond, Borrowed Time, Prove Thyself and We'll Make It. These are team support perks. They don't benefit me in any kind of personal way (well I get extra BP from Prove Thyself) other than supporting my team so it helps my chances. So I don't consider any of them crutch perks.
As Dweet said "We have to work as a team. I need you to survive so that I can survive".
That is an intensely altruistic build and I commend you. I'm pretty sure I would die in 30 seconds and be no help whatsoever.
-
I remember being insanely frustrated with Lery's when I first started playing the game. I hated it so much. Now I think it's fun because it's almost like an obstacle course, way moreso than some of the other maps in the game. But I still can't find totems for ######### in there.

I don't know survivor part but i have so much fun with Nem. He is weak but fun.
Is he really? He seems strong when I face him. Maybe I really am just facing good killers. IDK.

Another odd way for me to "win" is if I find a baby killer, and I let them push me around a bit so that they can learn how the killer works. I might take them on a long chase, or stand still for new huntresses to learn hatchet aim, or even die on hook because the killer's not used to the wiggle timer and I've wiggled away from them twice so I stop wiggling when they down me. It's just nice to help people once in a while.

There's a good compromise if you need both as well, in the form of doing something creative inspired by the game. The modding community is a good opportunity for that, or drawing, cosplaying, etc.
Brilliant idea!

There's one problem... I gave that name to pig
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today..."
-
How do you guys nod as survivors? I can do it as killer but when I just move my mouse up and down as a survivor it just angles the camera differently. It doesn't look like I'm "nodding".
-
I was on a totem cleansing phase where I just brought small game and ran around the map doing bones so that all 5 totems could be cleansed, on a variety of different maps, and I am amazed at some of these spawns. Sometimes they're not even right up next to trees, they're just sitting in the middle of the clearing. Or I spawn right next to one. It's nutty.

I call Ghostface Teabag McGee.

The grinding during the event wore me down a bit too. Don't let the game live in your head rent free if you can help it. Focus on other things in the meantime until you feel like playing again.
Pretty much this, though I can understand if it's your favorite game that it might be hard to do. I've been playing today, burnt out, trying to force myself to write a little bit since that's another one of my hobbies. I haven't done it but I do really need to take a break for at least a little while. We all should really.

THIS. i just want to quit the match after seeing this. Give me Nurses blink sound, Spirits phase sound, Huntress Lullaby for the third time in a row, Doctors shock sound, Victors activation sound... all of this is annoying and makes me sigh but seeing that stupid watch makes me want to die...
Honestly of all of them I love hearing Nurse's blink sound. Time to play chase!
(Unless the nurse is really good, in which case GG.)
-
I think people are / were DC'ing because they had the freedom to do so since the DC penalty wasn't active for a little while, and they were frustrated at how their games were going. Just today even though the DC penalty is back I had two killers DC because they didn't like the way their chases were going (not against me, but obviously the match was canceled.)
I've also seen players on here say that they did DC because of the poor optimization though, so I don't think you're wholly wrong.
-
I think it would be cool if say, the clown had an add-on that made it so if you stepped on some of the glass from his bottles it might injure you. Or like you said the radio idea, that would be fun.
I guess you could consider the zombies and PH's trail "interactive," but it would be fun to have something else go on. Closest thing I can think of is being able to kick Victor.

I guess, if that's what it takes. I don't know, because I play on PC. I was just saying that I have an Xbox and turning off the notifications was my solution. That's a good idea though.
-
I win when I have fun tbh. Bonus points if at least one of my teammates gets out but in general in this game, to me you just have to play for yourself and find your own definition of "winning."

They explained more in the comments, the killer wouldn't let them finish gens and if they somehow got downed, they would force the survivors into wiggling out so they couldn't bleed out. The killer wasn't farming, but they weren't necessarily just applying a lot of pressure. They were trying to make the game last as long as possible or until the survivors disconnected. That's what I got from reading everything.
Ohhh. Well that is scummy.
I went back and read everything and the one thing I don't get is how the killer could screw him over over the course of an hour, when the couple things that could/would be happening are, he'd be going around patrolling and kicking gens, or he would slug one or both survivors and just hold one until OP came back from his show to wiggle away.
But apparently both people walked away at roughly the same time so if the killer was slugging them, one of them would have bled out on the ground in four minutes if he was carrying the other one? Or else he was just standing around doing nothing and also being AFK.
-
I'm confused. As a survivor main I love and appreciate when killers do this and I don't consider it "holding the game hostage." Two people DC'd so the killer started playing nice, is what I'm reading from the situation as presented. Do other survivors just not like this or what? That's weird.
