Don't make it so vague.
This is the most entitled thing I've ever read on this forum. Smh.

Unfun in this community usually translates to "unfair" or "uncounterable". And you didn't really explain why he's so hard for you to go against, so that was my assumption.
I definitely said in one of my posts that I don't think he's OP and that I don't have a general problem going against him. People were nice enough to still offer me some more tips that generally might help me do better against him, but for me unfun doesn't mean those things. Maybe next time don't make an assumption if the original post is so vague to you.

You get 3 sprint bursts from his tentacle attack, you can cure yourself, you can stun and kill zombies, you can mindgame him and make him cancel his tentacle attack like a Huntress hatchet. What do you have to complain about? Teammates not doing gens isn't the killer's fault.
??? Are you mad about something? I haven't mentioned anything about my teammmates not doing gens. Am I not allowed to post about how a killer is unfun for me? Yikes.
-
I think at best it's annoying unless it's on Doctor. Then I do end up missing once or twice if I've been hit with madness.
-
How are all y'all who are done with the grind ... done with the grind? Like how did you optimize your bloodwebs or your BP gain or whatever you did to finish it so fast?
-
Some kind of pirate horror. 👀 It would be fun to have a map that's like a maze of islands, but it's too limiting for both sides.

I enjoy playing and facing Nemesis. I don't think he's overpowered and the fresh A.I. zombies bring something new to the match.
I'm not sure why you feel this way about Nemesis. A good player can make any Killer feel oppressive.
I don't think he's OP, and one thing I do enjoy about these matches is the little ring around the rosie games I play with the zombies when I'm on a gen. I guess you're right and I'm facing a lot of good killers?
It's not even that I "lose" a lot against him. I escape just fine, I guess I'll just watch myself more and see if I can't pinpoint the moments where I'm just "ugh" when I'm playing against him.

Nemesis is at his best when survivors do not protect their unhooks. He is a relentless pursuer but if he and his zombies cannot see you, he is completely powerless.
Thanks for the tip; I'll try to implement this into my playstyle and see if I find him a little more bearable to play against. Crossing my fingers.

How many times do you go against Nemesis?
It could just be burnout, I was the same way for Ghost Face
A lot, tbh. And sometimes multiple matches in a row. I hope you're right because I'd hate to constantly have this attitude toward a killer.
-
I know I'm not the only one who gets frustrated when the Entity grabs the stuff I actually want from the bloodweb and all I get are torn map fragments and map offerings for maps that I hate.
Cleaning up the bloodweb would be nice.

Mine was from a Doctor on one of the Autohaven maps. Brain go szzzzzz.
Unfortunately I didn't get the surprise factor, because I watched a lot of DBD content before getting the game.
To this day the Doctor's mori is one of the freakiest imo. Especially when he turns you over to look at your face. Yikes.

As a survivor main I do a couple things, depending on the situation:
Give them my item
"Bow" (That one long dip, or even just a single quick tap/teabag)
Stand still
A lot of killers seem surprised when I stand still, and since I normally only do it on my death hook or when I'm the last survivor and they catch up to me, I'm basically telling them "You found me, so I'm just gonna take it like a man." That must communicate something because 80% of the time they either leave me alone completely, or put me in the dying state and then walk away / open the gate / give me hatch.
Also, booping the snoot.
-
Also, the exact moment you realize that the Killer is standing over you for .001 seconds too long because surprise, you're about to be Mori'd.
-
I thought her name was Sadako?
-
some of the best cosmetic pieces to wear for my mains have come from them, so yes.

Why ... is this important ...

It’s not terrible but I hate the idea of a perk’s main appeal only working against a couple killers and perks.
Totally understandable! I just love whenever I load into a match and I can hear the Doctor. Or when people run Iron Maiden and expect to hear me screaming.
-
And then there's me, using Calm Spirit as always.
-
Killers when someone complains about a camper: Do gens and escape
Also killers, when someone actually does do gens and escape: Well you didn't interact with the killer so you don't deserve the points.
-
When Devour Hope kicks in, or
When I'm the one who sets off Haunted Grounds, or
When a Nurse actually downs somebody in the first two blinks.
Then I'm like... well crap.

The little girl from the Ring 👀 She could be madness-inducing.

Saying you're confused by the map is one thing; saying the map is garbage, especially when you know the map so little you can't even find a hook, is another. Idk if your comment was directed at me either partially or wholly, but pointing out people's flawed complaints is not griefing.
It's like someone getting into a car, not being able to figure out how to start it, then proclaiming that the car sucks. Like dude, maybe you should figure out how to start the car before you start saying it sucks.
It wasn't directed wholly at you, but there were some things that you said that were clearly directed at me, such as the comment I left:
"I'm not. I get lost every time, and it never fails for one poor soul to get to struggle phase on a hook because I can't friggin' find the stairs."
To which you responded:
"I mean dude, players complaining they can't find stairs or like you said, running into "dead ends." Guys, come on. I never have any of these issues, you know why? Because I know the layout. How can you blame the map for something that is clearly stemming from you and your lack of experience?"
First of all, in a thread that clearly asked "how comfortable are you with the map," you are obviously entitled to say you're comfortable with it, which is great. But why do you have to pick on the people that aren't? What do you gain from making a comment like that and saying "I know the layout, so all your comments are bogus"?
You also said in your post that you played the RE game this map is based on. Speaking personally, since I don't want to speak for other people you might have been addressing, I have not. And therefore no, I don't know the layout, and so yeah, I have a lack of knowledge. What is "bogus" about that?
Like your whole response just seemed like you wanted to complain about the people "complaining," when most of them, at least me, are not.
-
I'm a survivor main. My favorites are Red Forest and Crotus Prenn Asylum.
And Swamp can eat my ass.
-
People griefing on this thread about people who are confused by the map are completely missing this thread's point. OP asked how comfortable we are with the map. Just because y'all are comfortable with it doesn't mean you have to demean those of us who aren't yet.
-
Well, I'm pretty sure some people already ship Mikey and Jake; isn't there art of that somewhere?
-
I'm not. I get lost every time, and it never fails for one poor soul to get to struggle phase on a hook because I can't friggin' find the stairs.
-
For the fun of it, I just tried playing a match without Kindred. We all died. RIP.
-
Congratulations on your godly ominscience. The rest of us pleb solos need Kindred to function as a non-communicative team.
-
How the hell are you guys getting 100+ cakes? I'm playing every day and across my survivor roster I probably have 200 but not on a single character... o_o;;
-
Literally two. One on each of my mains. Because I've been focusing so much on getting all perks for all my current P3 roster. Lol. So every character I don't regularly play has like 40+ cakes.
-
An ex gifted it to me. I had a SWF, and then didn't. Been slogging on solo (with some exceptions) ever since.
-
I wait to see if it disappears after a few seconds. If it does, I assume it's trail of torment and move on. If it doesn't, I'll scurry over.
-
The idea of all-seeing is terrifying to a survivor main who uses lockers to dodge BBQ & tries to stay close to chases in case the victim needs a flashlight save. (Me.)
-
I fluctuate between red and purple ranks for these reasons, although I'm not sure if ranks have to do with really anything since they don't seem to mean much. I play solo -- used to have a SWF before uh, drama ensued. I feel naked without Kindred or at least Bond equipped because the lack of information is really detrimental in Solo Q; I admire people who play without them tbh because in solo that seems pretty ballsy.
Iron Will is also always in my kit since killers have so many ways to detect survivors and I don't like Lucky Break's timer. I don't use DS on principle but honestly sometimes I do use Unbreakable because... sometimes you need it, and for some reason your teammates think it's more important to self care than to pick up your downed comrade.

So many to choose from.
oni. On console. I cannot hit anyone with his club. I can control the running well enough.
huntress. I cannot aim for shite.
spirit. I cannot track anything when phasing.
hag. I cannot hit anyone after teleporting.
death slinger. Also more bad aiming.
Nemesis. Can’t aim the tentacle. If I had that trouble irl then I wouldn’t have so many kids.
nurse. Can’t aim the blinks well enough to time with hits.
voted up because I did not expect that nemesis comment and choked on my drink laughing.
-
Uh I am absolute shite at huntress, I have 0 idea how to aim those hatchets. I actually had a SWF I played against for a daily that were nice enough to stand still and let me "learn" how to throw them but when they move I'm just like ????
-
I'm pretty sure purposefully DCing in any way is at least reportable (IDK if it's bannable) so no, it's not a legit strategy. It is a douchey strategy, though.
-
Yeah, the 2nd one.
-
I guess I'm lucky because I got her crown
-
I'm still weirded out that Iron Will is purple.
But at the same time I'm happy about it. My OCD brain would always try to arrange the perks in the lobby by color so that in-game they looked like a pattern rather than a hot mess.
-
I leveled up several survivor bloodwebs so that they would each have all perks, including feng, zarina, david, kate, meg, jane, and jeff. Still working on some other ones ( notice I tend to focus on the unlicensed survivors ) so I'm crossing my fingers that I can get at least elodie, dwight, and yun-jin done with the blood hunt coming up.
Oh, I also amassed a bunch of cakes.

You don't need to cleanse all 5 totems (which is a huge time-sink), just the one in the end game.
Totally agree it's a total time-sink to cleanse all 5 ( which I often take it upon myself to do ), but wouldn't you rather have all 5 gone instead of having to search for the right one while your teammate is struggling on hook? I feel like the time invested could make last minute saves a lot easier.
-
I'm for the DC penalty, but I don't understand why people are so gung-ho about it that they believe it's fine to get the penalty for something like the "session expired" errors (is that even an error?) when the person is clearly playing but it just forcefully DCs you. How would you go about circumventing that kind of frustration for a player that is/was genuinely playing and had no intention of disconnecting no matter how the game was going?
-
Everyone would be like, permanently exposed. Between Make Your Choice, Starstruck, Ghostface sneaking around everywhere and doing his thing...
Edit: also apparently the totems are stacked with powers so RIP everyone when someone blasts Haunted Grounds.
-
Rank update and save game error, plus session expired error all infuriate me. I'd like to know what the reason is behind all of these tbh. How can my session "expire" when I'm clearly playing the game? It even happens in the middle of the game, when I'm OBVIOUSLY playing. And then it results in a DC for my poor teammates.
-
Any time the wiggle meter reaches EXACTLY the end when I'm RIGHT at the hook, yet somehow the killer still has the capability to hook me. Like #########.
-
Nope: Doctor. I'm not fond of the idea of how he mori's people to death.
Hope: David. Big meat shield who always takes it upon himself to defend this friends, yes.
-
I'm currently fluctuating between purple/red and it's usually all cakes
-
Definitely not just you, I've been getting ping spikes and lag issues for the past few days
.
