I completely agree with the first one nurses attack should be a special attack and not s basic one. She gets way too much value out of exposed perks why does she need it?
-
That's a really good question!!!

Autodidact, Empathy, Empathic Connection, Renewal
I swapped out Empathy for Bite the Bullet at one point, but it felt like no one was coming to me for heals and I didn't have Empathy to find them. Plus, Empathy gave me good intel on the killer's whereabouts.
I ended up using Autodidact, Empathy, Bite the Bullet, Renewal in the end.
(Renewal is great with Autodidact. The biggest hurdle, in regards to heal time, is when others have to heal you without Autodidact. Renewal means you can continue to heal others after being unhooked because you'll be healthy again soon. Plus, Renewal gets a big chunk of charge from high-token Autodidact skill checks. I'm hoping the new Lucky Break will get the same benefit...)
Right now, I use Empathic Connection with Resurgence, Solidarity, and We'll Make It.
That's interesting. I have used Autodidact with Renewal but I haven't made it work too often

I tried pairing Empathic Connection with Autodidact.
I thought I would get more tokens if other survivors came to me for heals, or came to me for quick heals when I got to 5 tokens and/or we were stuck in a 3-gen and the killer was not committing to chases.
Instead, I ended up with fewer tokens on average because the 10% healing bonus meant I had less time to get skill checks.
I suggested making Empathy heal 10% slower to get more time for Autodidact skill checks (and it makes sense thematically that you take your time healing someone who you know is in pain), but the idea was laughed at.
I have tried it with Autodidact too. The time increase is like one second so I still was able to get some use out of it
Just curious what was your other perks when using the two?

I think overcharge is kinda overrated. Please remember it can be countered by survs just tapping the gen. Still good, but I don't think S tier at this time.
Prob belongs in A with CoB since they both get countered the same way. Debatable whether its worse or better than CoB due to ramp up.
You can't tap the gen with a skillcheck
-
Then there would be no point in locking a locker since he can just go into the unlocked one

No I'm pretty sure any thing in a white aura can't be effected by blind

I perfer we just delete him

The nerf to survs was great and buff to killers was mid, killers like pyramid-trickster and doctor still need buff, atleast pyramid with less slow speed to put sword on the ground and trickster. DS got balanced and Thana and gift of pain got buffed in the right ammount, no amount of salt change that, use OTR if bothered.
Ds was already balanced outside endgame

Remove the cooldown.
- Visionary shows gen Auras up to 32/36/40 metres.
- Gen progress can be determined by the intensity of their Auras.
I agree with this suggestion

You may want to take your own advice. lol No insecurities here. Nobody's race, gender or sexuality bothers me, especially when we are talking about real people as I believe everyone should be treated with decency. I'm more concerned with the growing mental health of those obsessed with representation in games and fiction. It's not healthy.
Can I ask genuinely?
What's so wrong with accurate and good representation in media especially since in the past media representation of certain groups have be extremely harmful and incorrect

It sounds incredibly guttural... Historically, it was used for mental disorder diagnoses, so not exactly a good word to use when referring to trans people.
It was unfortunately taking as a word used to diagnose mental disorders when on reality it was made by a sexologist who was an advocate for homosexual and transgender rights
It sucks so much how a word that was positively used for people too identify themselves has been changed to be derogatory

I'm not even trans but that word makes me feel icky.
It's just such an unpleasant word to me and my queer friends. It isn't something we'd ever use. I can't speak for others but where I live it's considered offensive by most.
I'm in the same boat as you.
But it makes you icky because the way it has been changed by homophobic and transphobic people to be derogatory when the original use of the word wasn't like that.
So I'm going to blame them

You'll have to trust me that when a person who's been affected by a slur, or is part of a minority group who's been affected by a slur, says that something is a harmful slur, it's normally best to agree and move on. It may have started out as harmless but believe me, at least in the UK, that word has some abhorrent connotations.
Your right.
I'm going to blame the homophobic and transphobic people for taking a harmless word and twisting it to be derogatory.
Although I do feel there should be a word to better classify cross-dressers

Transvestites isn’t the same thing as trans/transgender/transexual. It’s actually considered a slur against trans people.
But the original terms wasn't a slur. It wasn't even used for trans people
It was a non derogatory term to describe cross dressers

How aren’t cross-dressers LGBT?
@Marigoria said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3045697#Comment_3045697
how is a cisgender hetero man who likes to wear woman's clothes LGBT?
Actually I think they are lgbtq
While there is a difference between transgender and a cross-dressers
Here is some interesting history
I think people who cross dress are considered transvestites, it was a term coined by a sex researchers and it's means a person who dress as the opposite gender either in public or in private. The researchers gave them transvestite cards so they wouldn't be hassled by the police. The term unfortunately feel out of uses since it's used to describe any cross dressing and became derogatory.
Transgender is a term coined in the 1960s and its used to describe someone's who's gender identity doesn't match their gender at birth or sex.
Drag is an entertainment form. The original term was female impersonator. It is differently apart of lgbtq as a lot of drag queens are lgbtq people and has been populated by lgbtq people.
I think its fine to call a straight cisgender person who does drag lgbtq since they should be considered transvestites.

There should be a bingo card out of this

This is going to get out of hand.
I'm going to predic that some uninformed person is going to say "they should be focusing on balancing the game not introducing sexuality"
Anyone want to bet?

Not so true. When I try to avoid the unhooked player, but they block a doorway while I'm chasing someone else, thats not a choice, it is either swing or be stupid and let both go.
Survivors really jave zero room to complain about tunneling when they insist on body blocking with DS and BT.
Yeah but then you just hit the survivors and continue to chase the unhooker.
-
No one forces ds on anyone. You the killer chose to go after the survivors even if they tried to bodyblock you.
-
I have over 100 on jonah. He is my new main
-
Prepare to see more boon circle of healing and inner Strength since I'm absolutely not taking self care.
Its basically a killer perk now
-
@DaddyMyers_Mori said:
So basically, if they don't nerf off the record, then we should wait those 5 seconds and hit a survivor to find out if he has off the record.
If he does, then I am going to tunnel the hell out of him, for using that perk.
I have done same with DS, if you force me to eat DS by going inside a locker, you are dead.
No one forces you to tunnel. Your being ridiculous

I opt that we bring back the 5 second stun, allow it to proc after each unhook and keep it deactivated after 5 gens are done.
I second this motion
All in favor of changing it to to say I
-
@Gratxla said:
Gotta love to nerf DS Even more, might as well make DS deactivate if You run
Ds deactivates the moment you step one foot away from the hook.
-
Used this combo and it's good. I agree it will definitely see use with the upcoming meta
-
Ds has already been nerfed enough so no
Just change otr by itself

OK, so after the edit you can say, Basicly other players are the problem, am I right?

I thought they got rid of that addon? Idk
-
Why did someone bring up my post again
-
No
-
I'm not sure
-
He is a good killer he doesn't need a nerf
Except maybe his addons
-
I use the perk in fun builds. I feel no shame in using it as I know I didn't crutch on it.
The people who shame survivors for using it are terrible

Wait why is Mikaela included? Dod she kill someone? And what did yoichi do?

He showed remorse not because the bombs killed people, but because the bombs killed the wrong people.
Had the bombs of killed the rebels he would've been all fine and dandy. This is a bad thing because the rebels were the good guys in this time of chile's history, they were fighting against a cruel dictatorship.
Pixelbushes video on jonah is amazing so Id watch that for more context.
I did watch his video on Jonah and i found his video to be a bit off to say thr least.
I read his story and there was nothing to indicate that the rebels were the good guys at all. In his video he seems to have assumed they were the good guys based on how the cia acted in real life
As far as I'm am concerned this is a different universe then real life so who's to say they were actually the good guys.

@Mooks said:
Additionally to Yun-Jin, Jonah is also not that innocent/good either. I only know about it from others here as I still haven’t read the in-game lore, but he is a war-criminal afaik and while not intentionally doing whatever he did he apparently also doesn’t regret it much?
I don't think Jonah's story was like that. He clearly showed remorse from his actions by trying to pay back the families. Plus he didn't drop the bomb himself he it was just a mistake which he tried to stopped
