If undetectable is not relevant, then there is also no reason to nerf it…
It's already weaker than any other stealth killer, simply because how loud his walk is. I can see reducing duration a bit.@PetTheDoggo said:
4. why nerf killer just because there exists a worse version on not really strong killer?
Would make more sense to ask to buff puppy instead…We are 100% on the same page.

@Neaxolotl said:
Everything in this post is pure nerf, he 100% will be weaker
But not noticably so. A start cooldown is on par with every other teleport killer, the visibility is litterly a bugfix and several people have tried to argue that the undetectable isnt relevant anyway. So whats the harm in removing it!
-
I apologize. It seems i wasnt clear. I didnt meant that springtrap can teleport to a camera user regardless of door, i meant that he can insta grap a teleporting survivor in the security office regardless of which door the survivor entered or intends to exit.

@dbd900bach said:
The invisibility and audio issues are bug specific issues. They are also a counter to his undetectable because he can be revealed for quite awhile with the cameras. There is no telling which door a person is using unless he has a specific add-on. His undetectable is a part of his identity and is a core element to bringing the Fnaf experience to dbd. Springtrap disappears a lot and is fairly difficult to keep track of in the games unless you're using the cameras.
In terms of the other parts of his kit, I would say its somewhat touchy to nerf any aspects of his traversal minus the bugs. It feels good to use and makes him a very exceptional killer. Limiting that would make him extremely weak if done wrong. I believe he should be slowed down when using a door near a hooked survivor since he easily bypasses the camping meter and can tunnel fairly easily.
Not being able to tell which camera a survivor is ising is good and all, but if both killer and surv teleport springy gets a grab no matter what door was used so thats a moot point. His undetectable being removed is nice and all, but stepping inside a door and leaving it again cancels the aura while teleporting resets the undetectable. But i agree that the full blocking of his teleport is a bit much so i remove that.

The summary of the event was likely either a copy-paste typo, or a translation error. BHVR themselves have confirmed as much. There is no tome this time round, and there wasn't meant to be one. You can get the rewards just by playing Chaos Shuffle, without completing any specific challenges.
What rewards? I cant find anythi g specific on them. Is it just the same 3 from the ladt tome?

No, you play how you choose to play, however give them the same courtesy. If you are trying to farm, and they don't want to, well respect that. Even tunneling and slugging as controversial as it is, yea it sucks on the survivor side, but in the end, the way I see it is that if a killer wants to play that way, if that's what they find fun, then GGWP GL next.
well, i wont slug or tunnel, but i will kill anybody who just asks.

@B0X0R said:
Personally? Yeah I do have a problem. When I play survivor I want the killer to try and kill me. It irritates me but I'm not going to cuss you out on it. Play how you want to play (without using exploits or hacks)
Isnt a surviver supposed to, i dont know, want to surviver or something?
but i get it, if you want out of a match, signal it to me and i will comply

Some players just want to play the game and not win or lose personally when i see a killer farm or stop killing thus keeping me in a game where I'm not playing it's annoying.
Also being called a smurf means losing games on purpose to play against weaker players it kind of comes from other games with visual rankings where players sometimes have accounts way below their skills so they can play against players worse than them thats all it means.
- thanks for explaining smurf. while that is not my intention it might prove correct to me.
- if you ever see me ingame and just want me to kill, stand under a hook and point at it. i will most definetly grant your request if you so desire.

People have teased me before for using lightfooted! It’s so nice to see other people seeing its value. I find so many killers rely on sounds to pin point where you are. I’ve escaped many a tile because they couldn’t see or hear which direction I was in. Pair that with quick and quiet for vaulting, maybe even lithe, and just to be silly deception or toss a pebble lol.
but i have to say it was better when it was "bugged". the fix was bullshit.

It should 100% stay on when unhealthy that way it can work with perks like iron will.
i wonder if they should add another effect along side no footstep sounds since the effect is realistically extremely niche, my suggestion is to allow it to also reduce you’re staggering and sounds when falling by 25% and then putting the perk on cooldown for 20 seconds instead of vaulting
basically a mini balanced landing minus the speed boost but with silent footsteps.
They could. as you said, this is a niche perk. bhvr could go havire on it and nobody would care, it will never become meta.
which is the reason why i actually wondered how a BUG FIX made this perk worse.

I genuinely empathize with the challenges posed by your OCD and sincerely hope for the best for you. It's important to acknowledge that bHVR likely didn't implement a solution for this issue out of disregard or malice, but rather due to various factors.
To contribute constructively to addressing this issue, I'd like to revisit an old suggestion: the concept of an Entity Xmas Holiday Gift. This gift could contain any charm missed in previous Rift Tracks, contests, or giveaways. Implementing such a solution would offer players a fair opportunity to obtain missed items over time, preserving the excitement and engagement of events while resolving the issue of inaccessible content.
Additionally, I recommend subscribing to FogWhisperers like PaulieEsther for reliable updates on Dead by Daylight news, including information on codes and charms. PaulieEsther's channel is known for its comprehensive coverage of game-related developments, making it a valuable resource for staying informed. https://www.youtube.com/@PaulieEsther
Had it under control for the longest time, but the small things always trigger it.

There's a lot of interesting takes on this list😂 I'm going to just take it with a grain of salt because I personally have different experiences with the killers, which would make sense since different MMR brackets and skill level with killers would vary between us.
Since your ranking is based on how you feel they should rank from playing them, I don't see a problem with any of it since it is your anecdotal evidence. I find it interesting how some killers that are traditionally pretty strong were lower than traditionally weak killers.
I'm not sure how much this data is actually helpful because limiting yourself by having no perks against 16 survivor perks (usually) doesn't really seem like it would be a good showcase, but still interesting to hear about your experience. Coolio
Please give your own opinion. That's why it's in discussion after all.
-
They should revert the entire thing and even bring back the med kit bonus.
Because if you can use a just semi item and one or two perks to actually heal yourself effectively MID-LOOP, than it's not the Perk that's the problem. It's the loop.

Those are neccessary for gameplay, as I said, gameplay almost always takes over accuracy, even close real life simulators like ARMA games have to make some concessions for the sake of gameplay.
Plus it can be reasoned the asylum burned down but we may be playing in its ruins after 50 years since the fire, that gives enough time for trees to grow and nature to bury the floor, this is a real occurence, you can go to a house ruin after many years and see the floor is regular soil with grass and some weeds, if you dig a few cms you will find the tiles buried under the new soil, this is the reason we find ancient Roman or medieval structures when digging nowadays, nature buries unocupied buildings and infrastructure since plants grow, they die, decay and start making layers of soil, for a whole house it may take centuries or milenia but for a few cms of soil its just a few decades.
Thank you. Will think about that while playing the map again. I still think there are to much pallets for a burned down facility.

Disturbed ward is actually one of the most accurate maps lorewise, it was supposed to be a somewhat big complex but it burned down, the jungle gyms outside of the main building could be whats left of the cells after the fire.
Anyway you cant have lore accurate stuff in games because gameplay always takes priority over accuracy plus the developers may not know a single thing about other jobs or jobs enviroments (which makes sense) and hiring an expert may not be worth it since general public wont even notice if its realistic or not.
I work in an oil refinery and I can guarantee any oil refinery Ive seen in games, TV, movies or wathever has nothing to do with the actual thing, from minute details to the layout of the place, not even the machinery is accurate but since its made for the general public who doesnt know anything about them either they get a pass, same here, I doubt real wrecking car yards look in the slightest like Autohaven maps and I know for a fact steel mills dont look like the McMillan maps either and Im talking about the main buildings.
And then we have of course the 5 million pallets and lokkers all over the place. They don't fit into the ambient at all.

If I take my time and look at every aspect of, it looked more like a garden with a big building in the middle of it than a run down facility. I think, if they would get rid of the big trees in most areas and but areas of burned down cement on the ground it would portrai what it wants to portrai much better. Same for most maps.

Video game logic is what it is. You do have to give credit to the devs putting effort into making the environment look more natural. The details inside the new Haddonfield houses impressed me.
I'll miss the "blueness" of the old Haddonfield but all in all the new one is better in every way.
What about disturbed ward?
As far as I under stood it, it was supposed to be a run down massive complex with only the ward standing now. When you look at the map Ingame, it's just that building, random walls and vive versa. The new loop spots with the floor was good, but the rest just wasn't anything new.

I like that too, actually. That pallets just always makes me cringe when I run near them. Don't lean it against the car, it will scratch the paint like hell.

@IlliterateGenocide said:
so we should just gut all non main building loops then?
In this game, this walls are mandatory for survs to stand a chance in chases, and to not go down instantly. But all this design choices are outdated as hell and are forced onto any new map. Ne ideas would be nice to make it look better. Like the small house on new Haddonfield. Instead of a Pallet in the middle of the entrence, why not a shut able door that the killer can (faster than pallets, but not instantly) run down? Or just make the random wall locations look more like burned down buildings.
Not is an angry rant if I ever saw one. XD

As a survivor main I have no idea what killers go through on a daily basis and what things are pitted against you. I want to know how the game is for you and what you would do to make the game more balanced. All I ask is that the changes be reasonable. ( I want to and I will listen)
Edit: From what has been told the problems are as followed
- Poor Map design
- Matchmaking
- Perk (for both sides)
- RNG
- Generator Speeds
- Survive with friends
- Toxicity
- Disparity between killers
Thats for now if I missed anything tell me and thank you.
OK, so after the edit you can say, Basicly other players are the problem, am I right?

Basicly no, because anytime we get something remotely stronger than survs in this "asymmetrical" horror game, it gets nerfed into the ground as soon as all those little Surv mains realize they just actually have to have skill.

It's sad but I prefer the old emblem system. At least I could get 0 kills, or die as a survivor yet I could still rank up if I played well in all areas.
But if you a casual gamer like me, to good for normal but to bad for pros, you end up either inbetween 9 and 8 were every game is ######### or if you put just a bit pressure into it you end up in red. I don't think I have to tell anybody how stupidly bullshit red ranks were.
