I'm just saying, there's some things you just don't joke about, because it's disrespectful. I was just trying to put into a comparison you might understand better than, "It's jus a game."

yeah, but teabagging at the exitgate is basicly throwing over the monopoly board, even though you won. that is not disrespectfull in my eys.

  • actualy i do not. im not a big fan of perks that basicly have a one time/short time/both use. and blood warden isnt even both, it also depends on the situation.

It may just be good fun to you, but it's extremely disrespectful to other players. Just a game? Yes. But a joke is just a joke that can be funny to some but extremely offensive to others. Do you get what I mean?

Every joke is offensive to somebody if you want to see it that way.

    T-bagging each other: greetings.

T-bagging while injured (to another survivor): pls heal

T-bagging the killer: "I don't need distance, I need to be cheeky"

T-bagging the physical manifestation of killer powers: "I'm dumb."/"mercy please."

T-Bagging Victor specifically: "I've chosen death."

    Ok, that was acualy funny.

but t bagging for a heal allways seems like very aggressiv begging.

Tbaggers are usually halo fanboys reliving their glory days in this game its more of a distraction to the killer at one exit gate while your other teams pull off a rescue and open the other one.

That would be tue if they would go as soon as they see others leaving. but they dont.

I could be wrong, but ever since the addition of MMR I think Brutal killer is the worst you can get, I can't recall the last time I got Entity Displeased even in matches I played absolutely horrible on.

That is right, i could not recall either.

to be honest, i would rather have that than brutal killer everytime. enti dis is just you did bad but i couldnt care less, brut kill feels just... wrong.

  • @NoOneKnowsNova said:

The "brutal killer" part has nothing to do with your MMR. That only relates to your rank for your monthly bp.

Fun fact, I live in Europe and over here we litterly have 11pm, so... Day almost over. But apriciated that you wish me a good hour ;)

Blight's perks are very great for hexplay, and blight has the speed and mobility to map pressure. Can break pallets with his power. Only real weakness he could have is indoor maps like memorial institute or raccoon city.

Nemesis has a ranged attack, making loops very punishable, has ai, with the right addons, can be devestating to survivors. While he doesn't have that good of perks, he makes up for in his powers.

Blight and spirit are very similar if you think about it, in terms of playstyles. So do deathslinger and nemesis.

Edit: Killer main with 2700+ hours and at red ranks across the board.

I'm sorry, but if if you need something (that isn't with the charecter, like other characters perks) to make him good, he wasn't good in the first place. And the Pallet breaking isn't standard like Billy's or demos is, that's an ultra-rare add-on.

And Nemesis is not really that good of a power if you think that with out the add ons he only gets strength over time, unlike Myers which has one sort of strength at first, and then gets more and different kind of certian strength, and his attack doesn't gets as far as pyremidhead's does and is even easier to dodge.

And the AI... I'm sorry, I see the advantages of having scouts on the map, but when I play against him I can't be bothered at all. There to easy to counter in every way.

I didn't know that ranks are impotent but I'm a both side player with red ranks on both sides, but for all I know, you could just make yours up and for you I could have made mine up. Actually as much as I am concerned, ranks don't matter much, but that is an issue for a whole different thread.

  • @Sleem said:

You do realize Blight and Nemesis are actually 2 of the strongest killers in this game right?

    Why?

    Slugging isn’t bannable.

It’s a valid strategy and I personally don’t mind that playstyle.

Chase, hit, down, hook, kill can get typical and boring. Nothing wrong with switching things up a bit.

If what you are describing ever fell under the category of farming points... The devs have stated that they dislike the act of points farming and are highly against it. Farming is not listed anywhere as a bannable offence, but it can be interpreted as "intentional gameplay abuse."

Though, seeing as how there wasn’t repetitive hooking/unhooking, simply chases, hitting downing while objectives were being completed, it doesn’t sound like full fledged farming.

The killer certainly gets the raw end of the deal there though, while survivors potentially can gain a 2pip depending on how long they stayed in the killer’s presence throughout the match without being hooked or sacrificed.

    @FrootLoops said:

this isn't too far off of the way I like to play killer. I will down and hook everyone twice, anyone I've gotten to stage 2 I carry around while I patrol and let them wiggle off, or just leave them slugged next to a teammate

it makes for a fun game for both sides and everyone gets absolute lakes of bloodpoints.

that is until the survivors start treating it like a farming match (chasing me, not doing gens, etc) then I start with the death hooks

    @dugman said:

Regarding slugging, if you are aiming to either get 3- or 4- kills or are aiming to get a higher endgame score than all the survivors then slugging actually makes sense strategically because if you can manage to down all living survivors simultaneously then, while you won’t get quite as high a score since you had fewer hooks, the survivors scores will tend to be even lower because they died that much more quickly.

Personally I don’t bother slugging to that extent, it’s not as much fun for me as hooking people, and like you said my currency bonus at the end is lower to boot, but I will often slug a survivor to chase a second survivor so I can spread the pressure. Simply hooking right away after a down isn’t always the correct play.

  • @I_am_Negan said:

I play like that from time to time if there's an early DC or I got 4 hooks before one gen been done.

The survivors will usually pick up on what you're doing and just go with it. Usually, not all the time their always seem's to be one that just keeps pushing out gen's. But it's fun

thank you. that was nagging on me a bit recently.

There is a lot of good advice and interesting builds here and on Youtube, etc. However, it is important to take your own personal play style (weaknesses and strengths) into account. Some Perks, not matter how Meta, will not work well for you based on how YOU play. Lean into your strengths and avoid a Perk that rewards play that you are terrible at. Does that make sense?

pretty much, but i was not looking for advice how to perk a was just asking how you perk and share my own personal experience. sorry if that part was confusing.

There is an addon that increases her movement speed to 4.6 but disables the ability to blink for 60 seconds. I recently started playing her and I find this addon somehow useful, but still prefer to practice blinks so I use those that decrease the fatigue more often.

An additional 0,1 wouldn't make a big difference, you'd still be slower than the survivors unless you get a lot of hits.

Unless you get two. Then you are exactly as quick as a surv. A massiv tactical improvement and i know the add on your talking about. There even is another one wich makes her 4.2 seconds fast for a whole match (with a teleport less). Those works good if you use them, but the point is, that a killer shouldnt need very rare addons to just work.

But if the Killer can't get a Kill, don't 'pity' them. Because that can be just as toxic. (though that's just my opinion)

I know. Thats the danger. But i have hope. Another danger.

  • @slunder said:

Dead by daylight has a lot of ways to be toxic: wither by saying ez in the endgame chat, by putting broken builds or by using tryhard strategies. This is how one toxic player can corrupt the whole community:

The toxic player that does not care about others join a game. Lets say it is a killer for the example. The killer will be an ebony mori Freddy that tunnels off the hook little baby dweets. At the end of the game, survivors tell themselves that killers are braindead and toxic, so they decide to become a sweaty 4 man swf with crutch perks. Then, they get a little baby Wraith that was just wanting to have fun. The Wraith then thinks survivors are just a munch of toxic players, so he switch up to become a toxic tryhard killer. After that, the baby Megs he goes against get mad and become the toxic t-baggers.

    So, 2 things to remember:

    1) Even if you get toxic players, do not put a tryhard build. Instead, if your opponent is toxic, face camp and tunnel.

    2) Devs, please remove all options to be toxic.

Sometimes, just normal thinks can be used to be toxic. Like the ducking. It's just a normal function, but is used to teabag, so it becomes toxic. You can't remove the option to be toxic without removing the players. As history shows, People will always find ways to be Shut.

  • @ScaredyCat said:

I feel like you should be able to start a KYF match alone, either as killer or survivor. It would be great for newer players to learn the maps or for players to learn new maps that come out in the future. Kind of like a training mode. Maybe even add bots to the training mode if possible. I feel like that'd help me a lot since I am not the greatest with looping on certain maps, or mindgames and shortcuts (like the one on pre-school or haddonfield that i dont rly know how to do) as killer on some maps too. Idk if posting here actually gets the devs to listen but worth a shot.

The community is asking for bots ever since the kyf mode is out. That was 6 years ago. I don't think a play alone mode will ever be added. It would be the best think that could happen, playing against bots with chouseble difficulty and playing on whatever map you want without the need to deal with toxic players. But, as I said, that's never gonna happen. I'm sorry.

I’m not denying that survivors can be toxic but survivors toxicity does NOT stop the game for you. You can still actively play the game and kill them. You can’t do anything if you’re being camped. There’s a huge difference here. I’ve played killer and faced toxic survivors and it’s not a big deal honestly, sure it’s a bit annoying but I still play my game and end up 4king then 🙂

killer mains that are saying that are making a unreasonable excuse

You didn't get my point. It is a terrible thing to do as I said, but in my thread, it wasn't about the physical option to play, it was about the psychological option, and on that point of view l, both behaviours are equally destroying the game. You are right with what you said, you just didn't really comment my statement, I'm just saying.

(Was man oft genug bei Killerthreads liest).

A: hinter Paletten stehen und Posen machen.

  • I agree mostly, but I'm not okay with your sentence that basically says „toxic isn't ok, but only the killers should be punished for doing it, because doing it is more fun than facing it as surviver.“ (yes, it is pretty simplified). And that is not ok. When we get a toxic punishment-button, it should be for survivers aswell. I'm not saying, you didn't got a point, because you do, I really agree with you, but I had a bit conversation with some face campers, and the say, they only do it because there tired of being offended via t-bagging by survivers in other matches. That's still no reason to do it, but it is part of the problem.

Because "They won"? Think of it that way - when you win a competition obviously you will feel happy. If you don't, you won't.

Now is t-bagging etc. fine? No. People who do it are really childish and enjoy hurting others it seems. Not all people are like this and I do hope someday the community will get better.

They weren't teabagging, they just were way out of my league.

It is not an opportunity, people keep saying that but it is bs. If I can't even get a hit and I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I am not improving. I have tried to learn the game, perks, etc. by watching tutorials, reading bunch of stuff but it doesn't help. I should not have to spend tons of time just watching tutorials over and over again just to get a fkin hit in this game. And that is why I stay on surv side until matchmaking is fixed because there I can at least play the fkin game.

You don't need to feel offend. I just were (a little agressive and prompt) asking for your honest experience. I CAN fell your pain.

  • I think the many problem here is that McMillan Autohaven and cold wind are maps, they have several maps but for example Hawkins only has the underground complex. I think it would be a good idea to ad a chance reduce Faktor in the map choosing to make all maps chances equally. If your first have Thompson house then the fields and role your way to all of the McMillan and Autohaven maps, it doesn't really feels like you playing different maps.

  • Just ask your heart: Is your anger caused by they being better than you or ist caused by them non-verbally offend you with teabagging and bullshit?

Please be honest. If it is the first, yes it is hard, but look at it as an opportunity to train and improve your skills. If it is the second, it is very understandable.

  • I think the main proplem isn't the unfair matchmaking, because you can at least lear a bit about playing. It is the childish behaviour of the survivers in-game, behind pallets, with flashlights or at the exit gate. The just take all the last fun that is still there and teabagging it into hell.

That is the worst part of a unfair match seeing those pisci survivers celebrate something that isn't there goal.

On high rank it is a hard struggle finding and hitting someone and if you can't do it you have to suffer through that useless buttdancing teabagging thing that all survivers do. Nobody is a good winner and nobody is a good looser. Get over it and move along. There a too many things anybody hates. On both sides.
