Exactly. I mean, Dredge is the newest addition to "No Stealth allowed", with bright Survivors during NIghtfall and Killer Instinct after Teleport.
Personally, I am fine with that, I dont really like Stealth. On neither side, I prefer Chases, I have more fun chasing a good Survivor than searching for some Blendette.
But whenever people say they want stealth, it should be quite clear that BHVR is going the complete other direction.
I perfer stealth as its more intense. I understand that stealth can be boring but it can be fun to juke the killer and waste their time.

Dont worry, you will still get wrecked by Survivors who are better than you.
And nope, BHVR does not want "hide and seek" back in DBD. They are doing everything that Stealth becomes a useless option, from Killers who reveal you with Killer Instinct to Nerf to Stealth-Perks.
This 100%
they don't want stealth back since there are so many killers perks, addons and even powers which negate stealth
-
I agree that dead hard needs some changes and glad it got the changes it needed.
I'm worried about camping and tunneling though

I agree, making distance unlimited would make Inner Focus useful but they aren't removing the distance limit for the aura only the scratchmarks.
As long as there is the distance limit on Inner Focus I do not see a reason to run it over Alert or Empathy that don't have a distance limit for their auras.
Then we should make the aura reading distance unlimited so that it becomes more useful
-
@bm33 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3058772#Comment_3058772
But there's a distance limit with the aura for Inner Focus so outside the distance you wouldn't know. Atleast with Empathy there is no distance limit so you'd see where the person was injured and if they stop running you know they aren't being chased anymore.
But making the distance unlimited would fix that.
Often times survivors continue to run not knowing if the killer is still after them or they could be running to a safe spot
-

This. I don't know why you would use Inner Focus over Alert or even Empathy if you want to keep tabs on the killer or where a teammate was injured.
Well what about if the killer is playing hit and run and doesn't chase the person just injured?
Inner focus could be used for that

there are things wrong with it for the other side, as well as balance itself. You're asking for a duplicate of something another perk already does, but you want it to apply to a different perk that already has another permanent effect on top.
I guess your right

Kindred and windows is already more than enough free information for any solo and people don't even use em half the time.
Yeah but nothing wrong with more information

They didn’t specify if it was only scratch marks or both. We have to wait and see
In the notes it only talked about the scratch marks so I think its just that.
-
It will still not be used. The killer aura range should be unlimited. It could really help solo
-
Edit: read it over again it's just the scratch marks
-
Oh my God you people are still complaining about dead hard?
It's dead now stop complaining

What?

What about anti loop killers?

It is not the same as it is now. What are you talking about

It's so stupid. You shouldn't be cleansing or opening a chest near the killer at all!

"And BT is the only saving grace in endgame. Conclusion: run BT (great meta change, BHVR).
DO NOT RUN DEAD HARD. It's a dead (no pun intended) perk for not working in deep wound. 0.5 sec with no distance and latency is useless. It makes you easier to be tunneled out. SB or Lithe are your friends."
Disagree.
What if your teammates don't bring BT or the killer waits out the BT? You still have DH as an on-demand Endurance state.
A .5 on demand endurance that still have an animation and can still easily be baited out. It's dead

Time it on a huntress hatchet or trickster knives. It's still good, you use it exactly the same way you did old dead hard. Get the killer in a position where they have to swing into your dead hard or give you a vault or pallet. You just have to time it with your brain.
But dead hard still have an animation shown meaning huntress and trickster can hold their hatchet and knives a bit longer to down
-
I agree with all of these changes
-
@YOURFRIEND said:
Dead hard is still good, you just have to time it better. With the last validation update it rarely has problems.
The killer can easily bait out .5 seconds and you can't use it on pallets or vaults.
It's dead

I say healing is also going to be meta so I say circle of healing.
Also prove Thyself too

Oh ok good to know

But your first question was "doesn't this make tunnelling easier?"
The answer is no, it won't be any easier than it is currently, but it will be easier than the PTB.
Ok then

I mean, the main thing to take away here is that you've still gained an additional health state. The speed boost is just to make it less appetising for the killer to go after you instead of your unhooker.
But if the killer is determined to eliminate a certain survivor, then sure, it's not going to stop them doing that, nothing could, or should. If a killer wants to burn through all of your second chances then they're going to do that, that's a tactical choice their making and given the effort required to do so, isn't one that's guaranteed to pay off for them.
The main thing is, does the killer slap you immediately and use up your endurance from the basekit BT. Or does the killer wait it out, and gamble on you not having any other endurance effects? Either way, having additional endurance perks will still pay off, because you won't always get smacked straight off the hook. It just increases the chances of you being able to tank that first hit when you get unhooked, rather than awarding you the ability to tank multiple additional hits.
It's absolutely not in the killers favour to "get BT out of the way" by smacking you straight away, because there's always going to be the chance that survivor doesn't have any other endurance, and waiting 5s will down them immediately.
Sure it's a tactical choice but it's one that now is going to take less effort. With the reduction in perks that provide help against tunneling along with an admittedly very weak and ineffective implementation to the issue it's going to be easier to do so. I think it will definitely guarantee to pay off.

Survivors have a post hook immunity to chains for 3 seconds. So Pinhead only counters the perk BT and not the base-kit buff.
Oh ok that's good to know for pinhead but what about legion? Does it still apply
-
@Seraphor said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3056846#Comment_3056846
Not really. You're still guaranteed to be able to tank a hit within 5s of being unhooked. Just because you can't add on another endurance hit after that doesn't mean that first hit was wasted. You would have got a 7% speed boost initially plus a sprint boost of taking a hit, and still have no lost a health state.
But the speed boost from the hit won't do anything with the weapon cooldown reduction and survivor speed boost reduction would it?

really hope endurance changes won't affect it, mettle is one of my most favorite perks in the game
also a buff to it would be very awesome
I'm curious how often do you get it to activate

@Crowman said:

It counters OTR, BT, and MoM.
Also while survivors can't Dead Hard while chainned. I've had many situations in the past where survivors Dead Hard immediately as the last chain breaks as I'm swinging since Pinhead breaks his own chains and sometimes you have no other options but to break your own chains during the swing.
If it counters bt (and I'm assuming the basekit bt from the unhook) doesn't that make tunneling easier?
Also anything that nerf Mettle Of Man eveb more is bad

Probably because you don’t like them, not because you think they’re overpowered
Yeah he not overpowered just more annoying especially with his buffs and addons
-
Anything that increases legions use rate seems bad to me
-
Let's start with the fact that the game doesn't reward you for running the killer. You can run the killer for all the gens but because you didn't contribute to your objectives or be altruistic you won't get enough points or pip
-
Also lower the cooldown. That would be nice
-
Swf communication can only do so much. If the survivor can't run the killer long enough for the other people doing gens.
When people talk about swf they are referring the bully squads. However I'm always skeptical when people complain about them because sometimes what the killer calls bullying is just the survivors playing the game. Not to say they don't really exist they do.

I'm a survivor main but if I did play killer more I would probably play
1. wraith

3. Artist
Survivor.
1. Elodie
2. Adam
3. Jonah Recently

I honestly don’t get why they added that action speed penalty to the new version of Calm Spirit. Would the perk actually be overpowered if it let survivors silently cleanse totems and open boxes?
It's stupid. You shouldn't be doing a totem or a chest near a killer at all. The effect doesn't out weigh the downside

"Have a Teammate miss 5 Skill Checks while using the Perk Corrective Action."
Single Trial of course.
Have another survivor pick themselves up from thr dying state using Boon: Exponential 3 times in a single trial.

I'm ready to use circle of healing and and prove Thyself more. As well as other healing and gen repair perks.
If they are going to be a thing at least survivors can adapt a bit

Nearly all of her addons need changes. Range can just be straight up removed, but nearly everything other than her good addons is meme tier. She shouldn't have super strong addons since she's already a super strong killer, but they shouldn't be a net negative to use, which several of them are.
I can agree with this

It's still a good perk that saves 8s per unhook. Hemorrhage is literally meant to counter perks like this. Not the other way around.
Yeah it counters it completely into uselessness since sloppy can completely remove the entire process in just a few seconds. Hemorrhage countering niche perks that barely see any use isn't good
It also won't do anythiny if the killer is camping or tunneling you since you most likely won't have enough time to get the heal off.
