will upcoming endurance changes affect mettle of man?

new endurance changes will now deactivate any other endurance effects during deep wound

mettle's endurance is a bit unique compared to normal endurance, mettle's endurance doesn't get disabled when getting affected by a deep wound like normal endurance does

with the upcoming endurance changes, will mettle's endurance no longer work during deep wound?

also, can a game designer confirm if mettle's unique endurance is intended?

  • Well i am also curious about that. MoM does not need to be nerfed. @Peanits @MandyTalk can we get clear information about MoM please

mettle of man does not grant endurance like other endurance perks.

It just ignores the hit that would put you into dying state. it does not apply deep wound and it has no limit duration once the perk is active. its infinity duration ignore-hit type effect.

The only condition for using this perk is that you must take 3 protection hits to activate the perk and once the perk has been activated, the killer will see your aura if you heal while the perk is active. It always stacked with endurence perks, but not many player used it as it was large time sink to activate the perk.

really hope endurance changes won't affect it, mettle is one of my most favorite perks in the game

also a buff to it would be very awesome

  • I would assume that MoM won't be affected if it's the first of two Endurance hits.

So you tank a hit with MoM and you don't get deepwound, then you can still use DH and tank another hit giving you deepwound.

You say that, but when you're injured you get the "Endurance" status effect which then goes away when you're next hit. Just because it doesn't put you into Deep Wounds doesn't matter, it's still Endurance.

I'm curious how often do you get it to activate

  • I'm hoping it's not changed using it in conjunction with a styptic agent is one of my favourite things

  • I usually run self care+botany knowledge+desperate meassures(no I wont get my self to run circle of healing) and then run around the map in my free time to defend my injured teammates and have a reliable way to self heal and heal others at the same time

I get it to work a bunch of times

  • its a bad change, especially since certain killers can apply deep wound very easily.

it even indirectly nerfs Styptics- just hope you dont go against Slinger or Legion 4head.

does it? it nerfs stacking styptic + off the record but styptic by it self is the same

I mean it doesn't say anywhere in description that you get endurance effect and it doesn't have drawbacks of endurance(deep wound).

I mean a lot of people were concerned about endurance stacking. so if it does affect MoM than hopefully changes address those concerns.
