I get it, people are tired of slugging, but THIS just got Freddy indirectly nerfed. Slugging was one of his most powerful tactics and now that it's easier to get people back up he has to go through that whole transition all over again. I might have to run knock out on him more now and waste a precious perk slot. I wouldn't have cared about this if they buffed him in this patch too, but instead they buffed sabotage and nerfed slugging. Might as well run Hangman's now huh. Sorry for the rant btw. It'll be useful for survivors which is good but Freddy is bad enough, he doesn't deserve this.Like black beard from r6

Why would they lie about it no sense but it dose find out why on your own. In this game all the killers speed is 110% NOT IN THE REAL WORLD, not for some of us. and those numbers ( evidence about 3-4 man swf friends ) mean nothing. Wake up and smell the coffee.ok ######### do you mean by ANY of this

In all seriousness though perhaps you're just not that good with her or she doesn't fit your playstyle. Most games at rank 1 she 3-4's either very quickly or after a 15-20 minute match. There's very few games where she doesn't get at least 1 ore more kills let alone anyone actually getting out.
She's currently the top played killer I've been facing at rank 1 and Monto has a pure evil build going that's getting copied it's so good.
Ok i agree with you but she is hard to play at first but i learn killers within 2 matches like nurse i learn in the middle of my first match as her but spirit was easily the best killer i prefer playing so yes get good as her and you will ruin people in game

I just read the patch notes of the new mid chapter patch and yet again Decisive will go unchanged.. who else knew this was going to happen? I'm not annoyed just disappointed really. Least they buffed Noed 1 and 2.Oh and I see no Freddy buffs either.
DS is easily countered by enduring and i believe trappers skill check perk (I dont like his perk and cant remember the name) and really just docs tier 2 or 3 madness easily counters it so i prefer them focusing on krueger and not on ds, also if you think i typed this cause i like ds i really dislike the perk

Touche, Michael Myers would also be creepy as [BAD WORD].
Myers with an L on his forehead is scary, The Trapper or hag doing it with the song all star in the background would be amazing

So I have been playing for a little over a month now. I play survivor with my friends and killer when I am by myself. So Monday I played 4-5 games as killer (the trapper) and my god, ######### was real. Like, I have had some good games and bad as trapper but all 4-5 of these games I chased one person who somehow seemed to know where every pallet was and I got looped endlessly it would seem and within like, 2-3 minutes, 3 generators were finished and then I would break off the chase to check in on the remaining gens and some one else would lead me through pallets and the other two generators would be done soon after.I think each game lasted a total of 6-8 minutes. That was my life for 4-5 games in a row. I was unaware that I apparently suck at being a killer effective Monday. Worse is I honestly don't even really know how to combat that. certain levels I could moonwalk to trick them but not when the terrain is waist level and they can see me.
As a survivor I have pallet looped someone for a minute or two until they give up but very rarely do my allies grab 3 generators right off the bat.
I suppose I just need to "get good" as I see people say?
(playing as survivor I have no complaints about. That goes well)
well this is called the perk windows of opportunity which allows players to see all vaults and pallets within a certain range but does have a cool down, just break the chase if they are gonna loop you I do it, killers sometimes do it to me but I will get camped when i get hooked, its just hard sometimes to deal with players like this

Firstly, do you notice that big a difference when using a headset versus not? I remember when Evolve was a thing, I’d watch a streamer on Xbox and he could literally hear a hunters jetpack boost from across the map and know exactly where they were. An amazing advantage. Now I’m not expecting something like that, but survivor footsteps, breathing, are they easier to pinpoint?Secondly, and lastly, what are
some good ones? My budget is probably around $80-130 and I’d prefer something I can go and pick up at Walmart or GameStop/Best Buy.I bought a cheap TB headset last year, didn’t notice much of anything but again, it was cheap, like $30.
Yes, huge difference.
I have the HyperX Cloud II and it's working great. It's USB powered, so it doesn't affect controller battery life and sound quality is not downgraded.I use a RIG headset and it does effect my controllers battery but idc because i use a wired but it works SO well

well it teaches all the leather face mains to stop camping
The most they will get is 1 kill, if the rest of the team rush gens. Those leatherfaces are not a problem at all.
You need to look things from both sides.
yes I know but the perk would punish them brutally for doing so

Ahhh so that's how that add on works! Thanks guys. That's pretty cool tbh lol.Yeah, lately I've been fooling around with this addon. It's not the strongest addon by any means, but it I agree: it's cool indeed.
The only useful function of it I think is this: if you spawn right next to a hex totem, mark it. There's a good chance that killer's first order of business will be checking that area, so it's better not to cleanse it right away, but you can notify your fellow survivors that it's there. Alternatively, if killer's also using Thrill of the Hunt, you can signal that you started to cleanse it - hopefully they jump on the other Hex totem. Of course there's the same problem as with hook gymnastic signaling: you can't be sure your mates get it.If YoU dId ThE WeRe DiD tHeY gO aChEvImEnT tHiS wOuLd HeLp

I recently argued with my friends and ... We were thinking, what if the pig had a secondary mori? ... Like, if the survivor who is being Moried has a reverse trap in the head, the pig would instantly activate and explode the trap In the survivor's head.
I Think This Would Be CoolI have thought about this before, but if they plan to give licensed killers cosmetics (like for example the new halloween coming out for myers) if the different cosmetics could give out different moris if you wear the full set, like a maskless pig could do this

Hex: Mark of Darkness
After the exit gates are powered, two dull totems are changed to hex totems at random and gain the following effect: The entity imbues you with power to ensure you take away all remaining hope. Survivors you hit are blocked by the entity from leaving through the exit gates./ Hit survivors are effected by the broken status effect./ Gain a 5% haste effect for 3 seconds after a chase begins. (If there are not 2 dull totems, effect doesn't activate. If one hex totem is broken, the hex is lifted and the remaining hex totem becomes a dull totem.)First of all. There has to be a simpler and more efficient way of writing that because it takes alot of space. Second, I said two totems because you could camp one totem and hold the game hostage. I thought about making it all remaining totems with a minimum of two, but that seems a bit weak. Tell me your thoughts and if you think if it's a good perk, overpowered, or just plain bad.
ok it is like rbts at end game, close to powerful and survivors will just try to look for hatch or kill them selves at gate

Currently one of the biggest complaints of the players, is the camping on the part of the killers. Personally I think that the camping, although I do not like it, is a valid way to play, so I think that prohibiting it would not be the best solution. For me, the best solution would be to limit it, and that's why the state is thinking about how to do things, so I'll reach an agreement.
The solution is to create a new directed ability, which may be accompanied by a new survivor; the skill you knew in the following:"Once per game, when you are hung from the hook and the killer is within a range of 10/15/20 meters for more than 15 seconds, the entity will block the mobility of the killer for 5/7/10 seconds"
(The number of seconds the killer is immobilized, along with the meters and the number of seconds needed for the ability to activate, are only approximations of mine)
It is a fairly simple skill that will only limit the camping, which is not a rule that is imposed, if not, a new game option for the survivors. This will cause the camping to be very reduced, because, although the survivors do not carry this ability, they will not stop causing paranoia to the assassins causing them to prefer to stay away from the hook.
What do you think about implementing a skill like this?

also how did you make this i want to make a perk like this for a survivor and make perks for killers and design them myself, what did you use

Well, perhaps the lack of talking is to boost their aura reading capabilities? The term "Aura" can be used to describe an invisible breath, emanation, or radiation. Furthermore, the term "Aural" is used strictly to refer to hearing. This begs the question, is the aura reading mechanic based of a sort of sixth sense, or is it perhaps a way of representing legendary hearing capabilities? For example, in the survivor perk "Bond" the user can see their allies' auras within a radius. Are the auras revealed in this instance meant to represent some sixth sense vision or are they a representation of how the player's survivor can hear and recognize other survivor noise patterns?Just food for thought.
or like calm spirit survivors are focused on surviving than talking

Chapter: He Who Hunts Monsters:
The theme of this chapter is falling to the corruption of the Entity. The Chapter comes with the new Survivor, Frederick Harrington - and the new Killer, The Raven, or Darius Locke. Both are men trapped in impossible situations, willing to as far as they have to in order to achieve their goals. And does that make them any different, in the end?SURVIVOR CONCEPT:
"What makes a man human? The longer I run and die in this umbral world, that is the question that resurfaces in my mind. Or rather, what makes those who seek us, who chase us and kill us inhuman? What horrible gifts has the spider limbs granted them to make them what they are? I wonder this as I look at the newcomer, a man who seems to be stuck in a state of frustration. I dare not get close to him, for when I do I feel my heartbeat slowly rise. What has he done for the sake of his own survival? I dare not think of it..."
Difficulty: Hard
Teachable Perks:
PERK 1:
"JURY-RIGGING"
Desc: You're gonna get out of here as fast as you can, no matter how. You can no longer make Good Skill Checks, but the area for Great Skill Checks is increased by 20/25/30%. Every time you make a Great Skill Check, the Killer receives an audio notification.PERK 2:
"DARK BARGAIN"
Desc: You've made a bargain with the Entity in exchange for power. If you crouch and hold still for 3 seconds, you become completely invisible to the Killer for 5 seconds. Moving or being hit breaks the effect, and you are not immune to aura-reading. After use, it applies the Exhaustion effect for 60/50/40 seconds.PERK 3:
"BLOOD SACRIFICE"
Desc: Whenever you are hit, gain a Token. For each Token you have, your Action Speed is increased by 5%. If you are hooked, you lose all Tokens. You can have up to 3/4/5 Tokens at a time.[UNDER CONSTRUCTION - WEAR A HARD HAT]
KILLER CONCEPT:
"A man dressed in a cloak of feathers, blood-stained bandages covering his eyes. Strangely, the sight of him gives me not a hint of not just dread, but despair. What drove him to claw out his own eyes? What horrors has he seen that would drive us all mad? Who was he, before he was warped into this monster who hounds us through the eyes of the corvians who watch our every move? Regardless, I find myself having to keep watch no matter where I am - in an instant his feathered ally may dive down on me and distract me, while he comes for me with killing intent."
-Benedict's JournalDifficulty: Intermediate
Desc: A hunting-focused Killer who can scout large parts of the map for a target easily. His perks Obsession: Relentless Pursuit, Tear It Down and Hex: Nevermore allow him to suppress a single Survivor from far away, chase more effectively and weaken the Survivors by killing someone.KILLER TITLE: The Raven
MOVEMENT SPEED: 115% (4.6m/s)
TERROR RADIUS: 20 meters/45 meters
DESC: While within 45 meters, the Survivors will intermittenly hear birds cawing. This sound is not directional and its volume does not increase the closer you are to The Raven. While within 20 meters, the standard heartbeat soundtrack plays. Any add-ons that change the size of The Raven's Terror Radius affect the heartbeat Terror Radius, not the cawing Terror Radius.
Dev Note: Marking a Survivor with Raven's Cry grants you the Death Marked type of Bloodpoints. This grants you 750 Bloodpoints in the Deviousness category.
WEAPON: Raven Talons (Bird-like metal claws worn on both his hands. When he lunges, he reels back both hands and swipes forward with them)
POWER: Raven's Cry
DESC: The Raven can send out a crow that flies in a straight line across the map, starting from him. If it spots a Survivor on that line, the crow will divebomb that Survivor and the crow then reveals the Survivor's Aura to the Raven and they cannot interact with the following objects: Generators, Undropped Pallets, Totems and Exit Gates for 20 seconds. Once the duration ends, The Raven must enter a recall animation where he walks slower and cannot attack (the recall animation lasts 7 seconds), the Raven can then recast Raven's Cry. The Raven can manually recall his crow before the duration ends. The Raven must wait 5 seconds after recalling the crow before he can recast Raven's Cry. If the crow does not spot a Survivor, it will automatically return to The Raven after completing its flight without requiring The Raven to have to do the recall animation.
DESC 2: The Raven has a secondary 'Charge' ability. When The Raven holds the Ctrl button down for one second, The Raven will then charge forward with limited directional control. If The Raven hits a Survivor with this charge, they go down one damage state. If The Raven connects with a pallet, he will instantly break it. This ability has two charges, regaining a charge by marking a Survivor with Raven's Cry. (Essentially, it's a diet Leatherface chainsaw)
MORI: The Raven pounces on top of a Survivor and begins violently beating and clawing at them as they desperately try to defend themselves. Finally, The Raven grabs their neck and stabs their eyes, slowly jamming his claws in before pulling them out along with the eyes, which his avian ally immediately pounces on and begins to devour.COSMETICS:
Head: Shameful Bandage - A set of bandages wrapped around the head to block out eyesight. What horrible things could someone have seen to claw out their own eyes?
Body: Feather Cloak - A large cloak made of black feathers, worn over an old detective's uniform. Is he trying to hide something... or show something with that cloak? A mark of submission... or allegiance?
Weapon: Raven Talons - A pair of claws like those on a bird. Unlike those on a bird, these are for cutting and clawing. They're worn less like weapons and more like actual claws; as if that's all he needs.PRESTIGE:
Head: Bloody Bandage - His blood keeps pouring out from his sockets, more than these pitiful bandages can hide.
Body: Bloody Cloak - Fresh and fermented with the blood of his victims, he finds solace in taking out his hatred on those in his way.
Weapon: Bloody Talons - Rip and tear, claw and skewer, bathed in the blood and innards of those unfortunate enough to be on the recieving end of a broken man's fury.RARE COSMETIC: PLAGUE DOCTOR
Head: Doctor's Mask - Filled with scented herbs, perfect for combatting the awful smell of disease. After all, how can you cure them if you can't think because of the smell?
Body: Doctor's Robe - Simple, yet stylish. It's even got special pockets for keeping leeches in. A doctor needs the best he can get, of course.
Weapon: Doctor's Scalpels - A bit of an odd way to carry the neccessary tools, but to each his own. Every intelligent man is a little eccentric, no?VERY RARE COSMETIC: DETECTIVE DARIUS
Head: Detective's Hat - The standard of any intrepid detective as he dives into the criminal underworld.
Body: Detective's Longcoat - The long, flowing coat that blows in the wind as you hunt down murderers and criminals.
Weapon: Detective's Talons - This detective isn't willing to let anyone get away ever again.BIO: Darius Locke had an intimate relationship with injustice. He'd seen his mother walk out on his father, and he'd seen how his father was driven to alcoholism as a result. His father was a womanizer, a drunk and an angry man. But he was also a hard worker, a man who put the needs of his son before his own. Darius' father worked himself to death to provide for his son, going hungry thanks to his alcoholic habits. When he eventually died while Darius was being schooled, nobody but a few of his workmates and Darius were there to shed tears for him.
As the years passed, Darius took the example his father had been to heart. He worked himself to the bone, and it paid off. He made Detective, and he took pride in bringing criminals to justice. His father had shown him what happened to good people when they did what others wouldn't, but showed him why they did it in the first place. Darius regularly went undercover into drug dens, forcing himself to take part of the vile substances he swore to pull off the streets if it meant making the world just a little safer for others.
Then came the big one. The biggest case Darius had ever and would ever undertake in his life. The Four-Cross Cult killings. A killing spree that mystified others in its attention to detail. The killings were always the same - four people, laid out next to eachother with a line of blood drawn across them. And each time, a black feather placed over the eyes of the victims. Darius swore that whoever was responsible, he would bring to justice, one way or another.
He delved deep into even the smallest clue and questioned anyone and everyone who had even the slightest inkling of motive. It became less of a case... and more of an obsession. He began to get more and more violent in his interrogations. Each time another set of victims appeared, he got more and more obsessed, more angry. His coworkers began to respect him less and less, and began to fear him more and more. He'd lash out, he'd yell and he'd hurt. Eventually he got himself laid off.
It didn't stop him. He delved deeper into the mysterious eyewitness accounts of a congretation of a cult, and began to see more and more people as being part of some conspiracy. This went deep, and he was coming close to the bottom. Eventually, he went too deep. He woke up naked in a field surrounded by masked cultists who injected him with something they called 'Revelation'.
The things Darius heard, the things he saw! He saw an endless ocean of eyes, trees made of spider-like claws and whispers of meat, of meat and sacrifice. Darius struggled and struggled and broke free. The four leaders of the cult kneeled down before him and did not move as the rest of the congregation began to chant like madmen. In a shriek of horror and unleashed rage, Darius ripped the throats of the four leaders, each of them slumping down on the ground like the killings while the congregation threw a mass of black feathers onto Darius. They rejoiced, for the ritual was complete. They rejoiced as Darius slaughtered them in the honor of their dark god.
Three days later, the police arrived to find the most grisly scene of the 20th century. Dozens of people slaughtered in a circle, while in the middle - four people lying next to eachother with a line of blood drewn across them, and feathers covering their faces. Darius was long gone.
While what was left of Darius's belongings were sold or thrown away, Darius found himself in a new world. A new place of blood and an endless chase. He wore the feathers thrown on him like a cloak, and his new dark patron gave him a dubious gift in the form of a large raven. His anger growing by the minute, Darius fashioned himself a pair of claws and embraced the endless chase.
MAP: The Raven's signature map is a variation of Coldwind Farm called Sacrifice Site. It's an old farmland but all the crops are withered and dead, the trees are blackened and decayed and there's Darius's sacrifice in the middle of the map, the circle of bodies and the four dead cult leaders with raven feathers across their eyes. There's a small shack on the side of the map which leads to the Basement.
NOTE: A large amount of crows are present at the middle of the map, where Darius made his sacrifice. Should a Killer or Survivor approach them, they will fly into the air.TEACHABLE PERKS:
PERK 1:
"OBSESSION: RELENTLESS PURSUIT"
Desc: You become Obsessed with one Survivor. Unlocks potential in ones aura reading ability. When you can see the Aura of your Obsession and you are not in a Chase with them, their Action Speed is reduced by 50%/60%/70% and are half as likely to trigger Skill checks.
Only one Obsession per match."His gaze is like a dagger, stabbing you in the back - as if he can see you no matter what's inbetween you."
Unique to The Raven until Level 30, at which point the Teachable version can then be learned and taught to other Killers.PERK 2:

"It comes after us in blind fury... the more we halt its progress, the faster it becomes. It becomes a matter of who slips up first."

When a Survivor begins to work on a decaying Generator, recieve an audio notification."Nothing breaks a man like the pressure of being alone."

Please do not forget the number of survivors, 4 of them. If they play as a team, like me and my friends, the killer won't stand a chance, he won't kill anyone. The perk with the pallets gives a big advantage to the survivors, thereby exposing the killers to a disconnect that I watch constantly....
what i mean by that perk is if you stack the pallet break speed with brutal strength you will destroy pallets within seconds
You probably do not understand the speed of the game. Especially when one survivor drives the killer through windows, pallets, and three survivors start the generator at this time. You really don't realize this is gonna leave the killer with nothing? I don't mind that kind of advantage for survivors. Just think of yourself as a murderer in this case, and me and my team will have this perk, you will not kill anyone, in all seriousness.
Every second in the game is important for the killer, especially in the game against the team of survivors. On first rankings play almost all teams, where any delay will have on killer negative consequence of. And with your perk on stun pallets, that would be a wild advantage for survivors. In each case the killer will be stunning across a number of time more, it is superfluous seconds + time to step up and break pallet. You can even calculate it by calculation.how about this, ill find a way to either nerf this perk or rework it

You can’t run...you have to walk everywhere you go. That is why you see those Meg players walking up to the hook in no hurry to get you down. They are saving that sweet sprint burst. The upside is that you can create distance easily if a killer is on your tail and you can make them miss an attack.
It also has it’s downsides like having to walk everywhere you go and probably not being able to activate it twice in a chase. While Lithe and Balanced Landing can be activated when you want it to in a chase...sprint burst cannot, you can only use it at the start of a chase.
There is no need for a nerf/buff.
its just a terrible perk in general, just run balanced landing it still works even when exausted
I’d rather run Lithe than Balanced Landing. Not a lot of maps have drop offs and you are going to have an easier time finding a pallet or window to vault over than a drop off on Shelter Woods. I only run Balanced Landing on Nea or if it is the only exhaustion perk I have after prestiging a survivor.
i mean they are both one of the best exhaustion perks in the game i would run balanced landing if i can find a fall off on a map and will usually run lithe if i can

Survivor name: Harmon SchrodingerA hunter
Perks:
Track
When outside of the killers terror radius you can see there footsteps slightly/moderately/tremendously brighter, when inside of the terror radius, your blood is slightly/moderately/tremendously darkerLure into the trap
when using a pallet and it stuns the killer, the killer is stunned 5%/10%/15% longer but, pallets break 20%/10%/5% quickerRisk Taker
when healing within the killers terror radius, you heal louder by 15%/10%/5%, but heal quicker by 20%/30%/40% with a increased consumption rate of 30/25/20 percent
Tell me if i need to change, balance, or if a perk needs a different effect
I am going to rework the track perk because most killers dont go for your blood but your scratch marks

I’m going to be honest: Rancor is not a good Perk. It’s a very bad Perk. In exchange for one Survivor getting a mini Dark Sense, you get to kill them with NOED during the endgame—assuming you even catch them by that point. It’s a low-reward Perk that forces you to have a really stupid playstyle to get the satisfaction of mori-ing the Obsession—completely ignore them before the endgame, then mega-tunnel them during it. I don’t think it’s well-designed, so I’d like to re-design it.Rancor
You become obsessed with one Survivor. Each time a generator is completed, the Obsession can see your aura for 5/4/3 seconds. Each time a generator is completed, all Surivvors’ locations are revealed to you for 3 seconds.
Each time a Survivor who is not the Obsession is hooked for the first time and is killed or sacrificed, gain a token.
1 token: Decreases Obsession’s repair, heal, and sabotage speed by 5%.
2 tokens: The Obsession’s breathing becomes 25% louder.
3 tokens: Disables the Obsession’s ability to see the auras of other Survivors and vice versa.
4 tokens: The next time the Obsession enters the injured state, they will be inflicted with the Broken status effect for 30/45/60 seconds.
5 tokens: Obsession suffers from the Exposed status effect.
6 tokens: Grants the ability to kill the Obsession.that is a VERY good rework my dude, i agree this should be a rancor rework

This perk really does need a rework, it could be good, the concept is good but, its so bad, but your idea isn't that good idea it should be like a watered down rancor, every generator completed reveals survivors for a short time is a good rework for that perkAlong with like half the damn perks in the game that never get used...spies from the shadows....what even is this....
a perk that rank 20s think are good

Its not how it works. And, btw, concept of failure for killers is vague enough. I mean, survivors at the moment don't really know how to escape for real. "Escape" is actually just a simple delay for them. So, Entity will get the very thing it need eventually. As for other part of you question, if Entity capable to manifest itself as killer. The answer for this is complicated enough. There was a theory, which implyed that Entity connects with killer during trials to watch how hunt progresses, for entertaining purposes and to judge how killer manages with given task.
Mainly this can be confirmed with Beast of prey perk description:"Your lust for a kill is so intense that your connection with the Entity is momentarily lost, making you totally unpredictable. The Red Stain disappears when Bloodlust activates."
But I highly doubt that Entity will be a killer. Why do dirty work, if you have many pawns ready for this? If they fail - just punish them, till they succeded.
And, also, if Entity would became a killer - the whole concept of mysterious and incomprehensible to human mind evil would be ruined. You dont understand, a killer alike the entity, like a more brutal killer, not exactly him but a pawn for the entity to use in his game still survivors would have to be pushed to there limits with this killer, like for example he could be able to damage pallets or destroy unused pallets
Then where is the difference? Killers are brutal enough already. Survivors lorewise ALWAYS pushed to their limits. Like, at first they didn't even know how to repair generator - they found instructions of other survivors, who survived in fog longer.

yes it would be nice to have and i think that it would be fair since there's counter play (don't get stunned and or the perks you just listed)well i mean it would be helpful on survivors and im actually good at making survivor perks though im a killer main
Great ideas! I think being a killer main helps take in account balance, at least that's what I try to keep in mind. P.S maybe add a faster item consumption for (risk taker) ? I'm thinking if used with botany knowledge, it may be a bit OP. I would make it so it negate item consumption efficiency from that perk.
ok i will because that increases the risk
