He needs multi-stalk back, an alternative stalk that allows you to recharge evil on survivors, and an enhanced base-kit (faster stalk maybe?)
his main advantage is his low terror radius.
I feel he could use some changes though.

I hate to ask patronizing questions but you are checking their perks after the game yeah ?
Nope, its a real thing, i also had matches were the killer had no TR, and had no perks or addons that would make it possible.
-
Not that simple im afraid, unlike the PC version, patches take a while to go trough on consoles, since they need the approval of the owners (such has Sony), that would include PTB which is usually constant changes.
They could probably do small changes without issues, but stuff like reworks or new characters, not that much

"So what’s going to change?
Simply put, the server will become the judge. When you either drop a pallet or swing your weapon, that gets sent to the server. If the server receives a hit before a stun, the Killer hits the Survivor as they normally would. But if the server receives a stun before a hit, the hit is rejected. This is similar to how hit validation works now."
It kind of has server side timestamps that check everything. Probably won't be that noticeable on low ping, but hopefully no one is getting hit from mars or shadow survivors that just phase through weapons.
Also: I really hope this cuts down VPN gaming over vast distances.
So basically there wont be any more hit through pallets?
If the killer gets stun by the pallet then the hit wont count? and viceversa?
-
Whats this change doing exactly?
-
They should just remove perk tiers, would greatly help with the grind
-
Spirit, Doctor and Nurse mainly.
2 are utter bs and the other is annoying beyond belief
-
For me its coldwind, im sick of corn
-
Nurse is BS, she basically shits on all the concepts of the game, pallets and windows are useless against her, aka, any form of defense the survivors have

6 has co-op and while everyone shits on it for being a terrible game, me and my buddy both really enjoyed it. There is also Operation Raccoon City that is, I think, up to 4 player co-op but i'm not sure if the online for that still works, never gave it a proper try.
Its because it fails to take advantage of its systems, like the combat one, and it deviated massively from the horror genre to be all about action.
And the story was terrible...

Luckily I have a friend who is a huge RE fan and already claimed a spot to play with me then. 😁
Is this the only RE game with Co-op?
RE6, Revelations and the Chronicle series have, Co-op i believe.
-
Oh believe me, you DO NOT wanna play RE5 without a second player, the AI partner is HORRENDOUS, you basically have to babysit her constantly, has no concept of ammo preservation, gets herself in danger all the time, gets stuck, is slow, etc.
-
@Hex_Ignored said:
It's in the first tome so many might already have it but to me the hardest challenge is to kill every survivor in the basement. It basically requires all 4 survivors to be suicidal
This requires basement bubba lol.
For that you basically need Iron Grasp, Agitation and Mad Grit to secure a run to the basement, probably a map offering for a coldwind farm and hope you get rotten fields to easily get there.

Not really. It’s easy to see why BHVR chose RCPD. Resident Evil is one of the most popular franchises of all time. It’s natural that BHVR would presume many DBD players would already be familiar with the layout of RCPD.
Nah, not everyone plays RE games.

Its great. Maybe should have played re2 or 3 first to learn the layout.
I did when they came out, doesnt change the fact that back then you had a freaking map, and in RE3 you only visit it for a small portion.
The map is massive, for an indoor map, its basically a labyrinth

@ZonkyWizard said:
You felt sad for him, did you really? Then why'd you come here on the forums and post about him? Weird. 99.9% of people here don't even care.
Again, matchmaking being a mess.
I just find stupid that a rank 10~ gets paired up with 5+ ones.
I dont really know what my teammates did tbf, i was alone that entire match, so idk if they did anything to trigger the guy, like the things you mentioned, which btw, i dislike, idk why survivors feel the need to be annoying beyond belief by clicking flashlights or teabagging, etc.
Hell i even remember a match that was a draw (2 kill) where i actually praised the killer and complained at how freaking useless my teammates were lol, for context, i worked HARD to get rid of extremely dangerous 3 gen, which i did manage, but my teammates ended up causing a different one, and then they left me without a slimmer of doubt after i distracted the killer long enough for them to finish they mess.
-
@Hannacia said:
Ok..i hope you are proud of yourself? Nothing i hate more is a toxic survivor that buttdances and flashlights in the end to make sure the killer knows they won :) Or someone who comes to forums to gloat about making killer ragequit.
I already said i felt bad for the guy, im mostly blaming the matchmaking for putting a low rank killer against high ranks
Also i dont do either of those things (idk i just dont use flashlights, i rarely bring items in general)

You didn't feel sad. If you did, you wouldn't have done it. You played like a jerk and didn't let the Killer have any fun.
(Not being serious, just taking the opportunity to use the usual Survivor logic from the other side for once. )
I didnt really did much tbf, did only half a gen (and a nearly full one but he dc before i could finish it) and got that totem, thats about it.

I, for one, am very impressed they were able to gen rush someone who lost their hex perk while they were also running a meme perk. It is amazing play, he really dominated the killer by getting his chase dropped into finding the hex totem and, the holy generator. The skill literally melts my brain. I bet he landed 3 perfect skill checks in a row on the gen he soloed too, utterly destroying that Krueger player. Gosh I wish I was Zokenay.
If you were me, we would be missing your thiccness

I've made plenty of killers DC because I destroyed their noed before it did anything

@FrndlyChnswSalzmn said:
So? Dude saw gens fly by and left. You shouldn't be bragging about that, because as Killers get more and more frustrated your games will just get shorter and more boring.
Wasnt really bragging, just saying how stupid the matchmaking is sometimes, i did felt sad for the guy.
-
@Ghouled_Mojo said:
It’s not hard to make a killer dc right now. Had a wraith dc after popping the first gen. Match lasted about 45 seconds.
im sure it’s not hard to get a survivor to dc either.
Guess he didnt found anyone?

@burt0r said:
I am sorry but that is what impressive or important how?
Penalties are off and people disconnect left, right and center at the drop of a hat. I would even go so far to say that the stayed impressively long in the trial given how bad it went for them according to you.
I am lucky that so far during this weekend only one person dc'ed and that was probably a crash mid going down.
It wasnt even that long actually, it was around 2-3 mins into the match
He got 1 hook with 1 gen pop, and the current chase cost him 2 (soon to be 3) gens
I did got good teammates gotta say, which is rare in solo cue...
Im just saying that its surprising how much a match can be one sided due to poor matchmaking, i think the guy was around green rank while we were purple/red ones.
-
I guess mainly Spine Chill.
Since it allows me to focus more on Skill Checks rather than constantly looking around to spot the killer, specially if its a stealth one.
And its just an amazing perk in general.
-
@lauraa said:
I believe it should depend on context. Sandbagging should be an immediate suspension(locker opening, pointing ,pallet dropping etc.) but bartering for your life when the game's basically over? Nah. The game's goal is to survive, that's it.
If I see that somebody's been playing for hatch wayyyy too early and being a complete detriment, you bet your ass I'm going to reveal you to the killer and pray that I get hatch for it.
Killer sludge us constantly and never hooked him, they both walked together often, and he pointed it at us to know where we where, when he lost us.

Curious, why are you annoyed at the naming and shaming rule? Steam players are able to change their name at will, and given the millions of people on Steam it's very easy for people to have the same name, naming and shaming someone can put the target on the wrong person and doesn't do anything for anyone, literally nothing is gained from 'shaming' a player besides you may want them harassed or targeted?
Well you could link their accounts, making the name change pretty much pointless.
But whatever, im just annoyed that they have to be protected by this rule.

Please please please PLEASE either sabo a hook when you are not near a survivor or at least use the protective glove add-on. I have had 3-4 games today where there are people running tool boxes or saboteur to complete their challenges but they are doing it right next to people working on gens, healing, or even right after unhooking someone causing the killer to come back.
I understand that you want to finish your challenges, trust me I know. Just pick the right time and place to do it instead of screwing over your teammates lol.
Maybe BHVR should think of better challenges/dailies for survivors that dont make them a detriment... like opening for 6 boxes

You know, I unhook people during Endgame all the time..

Has anyone tried technician and flashbang? Couldn’t you just endlessly and quietly undo your generator progress jump into a locker and create an infinite number of flashbangs as long as you weren’t interrupted.? Flashbangs can be placed on the ground and given to others.
If you wanna be more a liability to your team, then yeah, you can.
Someone actually made a video where they made dozens of flashbangs, so yeah, you can craft infinite amounts.
-
Do that and you will have the most BS killer in the game...
Nemesis isnt a killer you can buff without care.

While I agree! Here's the problem that I believe 98% of the community doesn't see. "THERE'S NO WAY TO NERF SPIRIT WITHOUT DEFEATING THE PURPOSE OF HER KIT OR MAKING HER ANNOYING TO PLAY AS!"
"Giver her some kind of TaleTell!" That defeatrs the purpose of her kit
"Get rid of the stand still!" How do you get rid of it without defeating the purpose of her kit?
Imagine if Nurse's Bookmark add-on without the extra blink (she can't blink through objects without direct LoS) was base kit for her. NOBODY WOULD PLAY HER BECAUSE HER KIT WOULD DEFEAT THE PURPOSE OF ITSELF!!
Sorry but no, Standstill is plain BS, you get NO info as a survivor, its literally fully rng if you guess where she is, while she has all the info in the world.
There needs to be a way to tell if shes phasing or not, and this wouldnt cripple her at all, it would simply make her fair.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/263089/why-bother-looping
You are not looping a Slinger. You run in a straight line, you predrop the pallet, you keep running. When he hits you, you do the same again.
The new wave of killers are forcing survivors to play like that, because its the most effective playstyle (to counter for example Slingers 110% and his mid range attack)
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2329816#Comment_2329816
They really dont. In fact the survivors play the by far easiest way possible against those type of killers.
Pretty much, im honesty annoyed by that design, devs have focused too much on 1vs1 and neglected 1vs4, making killers that are oppressive on chase by have no map pressure
-
He was reworked, his Static Blast is a massive aoe blast that covers his entire Terror Radius, anyone inside it will scream and have their madness increased
At tier 3 they only scream if they dont Snap Out of It, interrupt it or fail skill check.
If anything this Doc is better at tracking since you can instantly make everyone near you scream with the Blast, even more with the proper addons/perks to massively increase your terror radius.

Toolboxes and their add ons have had major nerfs. Unless you bring in a BNP, they're pretty much useless. I don't even search chests anymore because I'm more than likely to just get a useless toolbox. Ironic, because I'm spending more time doing gens since searching chests isn't worth it anymore.
And you said it, slow killers on bigger maps = gens are going to go fast. Luckily, there are perks you can use to help. You can play as a faster killer until you've unlocked the slow-down perks you want for the slower killer, or you can bring map offerings to get smaller maps.
Toolboxes are now meant to be a quick repair rush, which can be clutch to quickly repair a nearly done gen under pressure
-
I mean, he is still tall af in DBD, making him any taller would have been an issue, due to map design.
-
@Crowman said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2326784#Comment_2326784
If the killer was also around the hook, then that's still an unsafe play. Like the issue isn't the zombies here. Your teammate made an unsafe play.
Nah, a facecamping zombie is simply a no, you can get down by the zombie itself trying to unhook or have the victim get insta down, or burn BT immediately
-
@Crowman said:
Sounds like the person who rescued you didn't make sure it was safe.
It's not hard to get a zombie to move away from a hook and then go for the safe.
Not that much of an option under pressure from the killer, thats the thing.
Zombies shouldnt be allowed to get near hooked survivors.

Not trying to start trouble here, but you basically just answered your own question in the original post.
"Like honestly, why play like this?"
Getting the 4k when they face survivors that do not know how to handle the tunneling is exactly why killers do it. If most survivors made the killers suffer for tunneling, it would eventually stop being used as a strat so often. I agree with you that tunneling can be very annoying, but survivors need to adapt to each match to succeed no matter what strat the killer uses.
The other two were doing gens, i was the only one trying to get the killer off the tunneled person, cause every single time he went after her when she was unhooked, like i even run straight to him to get hit and he just went past me, even tried to bodyguard by running between both and same, ignored me and went for her.
Cause for real, he did it right at the start, completely ignoring everyone else.
-
2 gens left*
-
4k, gens left
-
If you do all challenges, possible, but you will pretty much have to no life it.

It's RE5 Chris in the RE1 outfit.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/89O4NYD5RDKY/image.png
This is RE1 Chris and he looks even less like this one.
Thats because RE5 Chris design is more know and liked than the old one, RE7 proved that when they tried to change it back and people hated it, some didnt even believed it was him.
Thats why they went with his Post RE5 appearance.
Same goes to RE4 Leon, his design is based off the remake but with the clothes and hairstyle of RE4
Claire is the one that needs fixing, Chris is fine.
-
Agree on Claire, not on Chris, hes fine
-
Thats largely cause their power is useless at downing a survivor, making it kinda pointless to use outside of a healthy survivor or as a chain reaction.
-
Yeah while i appreciate the resemblance to the actual RE version, i does need work, cause its unbalanced as hell
-
Because countering her largely relays on rng.

@[Deleted User] said:

Yeah i think he meant that.
I think it happens if the attempt would have put you in stage two had you failed, not sure though.
