Counterforce is the best totem perk available. The perk give you cleansing speed and location vs small game that give you an idea were the totem but you have a totem counter on it. Detective hunch activate only when a gen is complete the best one at the start but lose all his value when the game progress.
Yeah a location of a totem across the map... not only do you waste a huge amount of time going from totem to totem like that, the totem could be cleansed by someone else before you even get there.
SG is quite accurate at the very least, i ran both separately and i had a considerably easier time finding the totem with SG, also CF requires you to find a totem in the first place.

More people realize it's a great perk ? Or maybe are afraid of counter force to run ruin
CF isnt that good tbh, at least not on its own, SG and DH are way better

Well, you never know. They could release a PS1 RE3 Nemesis outfit.
Leon got his RE4 outfit which was never available in RE2 remake.
I mean why would he get that?, RE4 happens after RE2 after all.

They also design his wrappings they're bulletproof butI,know what you mean that that's because he's a prototype. They went though a hell of alot of trouble to design those aspects

Lmao I know right when Resident Evil calls you just gotta answer
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2289000#Comment_2289000
Hopefully though they'll get the classic skin and make him more leaner the new Nemesis is a chunky boi
Yeah the concept art shows how many designs they went trough, his clothes are likely made from the same thing has Mr. X.
Well Nemesis is freaking MASSIVE in the Remake version.

The RE chapter was primarily based on the RE2/RE3 remakes, hence why we have these depictions of Leon, Jill, Claire, and Nemesis (Chris hasn't appeared in a modern RE remake yet, so his model seems to be a hybrid between his RE1 and RE5 appearances).
R3make Nemesis was designed in the way he was to better fit RE3 into the overall RE timeline (his NE-a parasite is apparently related to or derived from RE4's Las Plagas parasite, so they made it have more elements of that with the tentacle and the infected zombies). His "trash bag" outfit is actually a bunch of body bags, though I've never found any real reason why they went with this particular outfit swap instead of his original coat. Maybe it was to make him more visually distinct from Mr. X?
That said, it'd definitely be cool if Capcom would give BHVR the opportunity to create a modernized rendition of Nemesis's original appearance. I stumbled across this picture of what a modernized version of OG Nemesis could have looked like and it'd be a pretty awesome skin to have in the game.

I mentioned the reason, his design was made with the idea that he was a prototype, so he didnt had clothes designed for him, what he wears is mostly made on a rush by Umbrella.

No people we're disappointed in his design overall and the second form he took in the remake, also the way the city was condensed down and cutting the iconic clocktower
He literally has the ability to sprint and kill you when you're life is low
Also showing up with the rocket launcher in different sections of the game
I already said the game was poorly received, idk why you keep hammering down like im defending it.
And Nemesis Remake Design did have people that liked it and some that dont, but it wasnt one sided.

I don't understand that remake design of him, he looks like he's a giant homeless person covered in trash bags. At least original Nemesis had a badass trench coat.
He's a prototype, the reason he doesnt have normal clothes its cause of that, thats the design behind it, his "clothes" is mostly just something made on a rush by Umbrella to send him on the mission, unlike the original who had clothes designed for it.
It really achieves that feel, that he is a prototype weapon.

So you think that their just using Re3make as just a base cosmetic, because original Nemesis is harder to design? Also original Nemesis would work completely different. He literally has the ability to sprint and kill you when you're life is low
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2288917#Comment_2288917
Why would Capcom choose this Nemesis to add to the game? ,if this would be the destination and home for iconic legends, even they know that. The also received a bunch of backlash for the character himself.I also feel like they should have declined if Capcom wasn't willing to give them original Nemesis.
If they had declined it for that reason the backlash would have been massive.
The design is fine, and they can bring an OG version later on, also it would have been weird to bring OG Nemesis while Lean and Jill (also adding Claire and sorta Chris) having their Remake designs.
Btw how does OG Nemesis work differently? both version would run and slam you to the ground
Besides the backlash for RE3 Remake had more to do with the game's poor reception rather than Nemesis design, which a lot of people actually liked.

BHVR forgot to make it so his ranged attack deals damage on first hit, not surprising. He needs 2 zombies per survivor, and way better addons. His perks are just utter trash.
Im gonna stop you there, Lethal Pursuer is easily a strong perk, like REALLY strong, being able to start a chase right away and probably get a hook is no laughing matter.
-
Yeah people dont realize how strong this perk is on some killers.
-
I would mainly focus on his addons tbh, cause Nemesis is a dangerous gamble when trying to buff him, he is STRONG on loops.
Allowing him to break both pallets and dmg survivors at the same time would be too much.
And his zombies need some stuff fixed, like mentioned, they get stuck often (even on nothing) but theres two particular issues that should get fixed, facecamping and basement, i feel zombies shouldnt be allowed to get into the stairs of the basement or anywhere near a hooked survivor.
One particular idea someone mentioned was to increase the amount of zombies based on the map, but who knows how that would go.
Idk about "calling them", i feel that would put way too much pressure.
As for the tentacle, i think its mostly fine, a long range attack shouldnt be a free hit (looking at Huntress...), as for Tier 3, i guess just allowing him to get there sooner would be enough.
Anyway, his addons and the zombies getting stuck, facecamping/blocking basement are pretty much the main issue.
-
Its a decent perk, but not the greatest, the speed cleansing is the main bonus, since the Totem Location isnt that good, its on the other side of the map which will waste a lot of your time doing nothing, someone else could cleanse it before you, it can still be annoying to find, etc.
But like you mentioned, paired with Small Game you have a strong Totem Hunter build
-
Thats the plague map isnt it? was wondering since i havent gotten it recently
-
From what ive seen, the map is too bloody dark
-
Any of the coldwind maps.
I hate them
-
I mean take in mind how you get BP in the first place.
The killer is alone, so as long they perform decent, they will get a good amount of BP.
Survivors on the other hand are competing against each other, you will get more BP based on how much you did yourself, fixing gens, getting totems, getting chased, saving others, healing them, etc.
The more you play "solo" the less BP you are likely to get, gotta be bold to get a large amount of points.
-
I think he should get a rework tbh.
-
I would say people underestimate the value of this perk, it can tell you the info of where the killer and your teammates are.
If a gen currently started regressing it could mean the killer is in that area, and viceversa, that a survivor is in that gen.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/258715/this-patch-has-made-killer-unfun
Well the issue I think most killers will run into is they aren’t used to developing skill. You get 4K games at rank 18 and it never ends. Survivors have a much harder grind which is why they’re so good at red ranks. Killers need a higher skill curve to learn to compete. Plus if your definition of fun is a 4K match, that just means you’re the only one having fun. That’s an issue in itself.
If im honest i feel each killer should have its own rank, Survivors basically have the same gameplay all around outside of the perks, but Killers dont, each one plays different from one another and their perks/addons can change them drastically.
Its annoying when a new killer comes out and you get destroyed easily due to not being used to it and your stuck on the high ranks.
This is also why we need some form of testing ground to try out the killers on our own.

I feel like the only time you're really getting punished is if you break off a chase to kick a gen instead of going for the down. It also doesn't counter pop, you can still pop it right after.
It a bit of a trade off though, since the killer has to kick it again, they waste more time on it that they could use chasing or patrolling the other gens, every second counts after all.
Regardless, i think the perk is fine, it requires a lot of gen progress to get it, and you will get at best 1 or 2 mines per match, unless youre REALLY active on the gens
-
It really isnt THAT good, its a somewhat decent perk at best, and i believe Small Game to be better than it. if anything people would mainly pick it due to the speed cleansing or pair it with SG.
I actually tried using both separately and i had a way easier time finding the totems with SG, since you only get a small glimpse with CF from a far away totem, which could also be cleansed by someone else before you even get there.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/258536/was-this-one-of-the-changes-trapper-needed
Its a good change but he needs a couple of things IMO.
- Make him start with 2 traps, and able to carry 3 basekit with no addons. Rework bag addons to do something else
- All other traps should spawn next to generators, that way they are always along your patrol path.
- When a survivor steps in a trap, trapper gets a big movement speed boost (like 150%) while they are trapped.
The last one is just absurd.
-
I think thats from Jill's perk, it means she put a mine on it.

Zombies don't seem to stay at the hook for long, unless they get stuck on a wall. Seems they don't get aggro'd on the hook survivor like they did on the ptb.
Well just had one sitting on top of the hooked survivor.
-
Largely cause of perks yeah.
It was easier to just add them as skins.
-
I remember having this issue when i bough Legion when it came out, but after a bit it got fixed on his own.
Might be the same thing? regardless probably should open a ticket
-
It is Chris from RE1, but his design is more in line with his current one, since he has gone trough a lot of changes, not just the steroids

Theres also Thrill of the Hunt to protect the Hex totems

K so i just finished a match and im now having same issue, but it gives me a No Network Connection error (my internet is fine), maybe the servers crashed or something? i cant log in
Any other PS4 player dealing with this?

Only shows auras of those near DULL totems.
Well better than nothing i guess, would need to be unlucky to have the Hex found first out of all totems

Does anyone else on ps4 is unable to even open the game and just being stuck into loading screen forever?
Try reseting the game?, i remember having this issue long ago, but dont remember much of it.

Good bye hex perks. All it take is each Survivor cleaning one totem, add this and totems are finished at the start of the match.
Well, theres still Haunted Grounds to bait them, wasnt there also Undying which showed you the aura of a survivor near them?
-
@WeenieDog said:
It okay, I guess. I ran it a couple of times and more often then not, it didn't get much value. Either I had teammates that found totems before me, robbing me of stacks or the killer just wasn't running hex perks anyway.
I guess you get more value if youre in a SWF, since you can have one person dealing with the totems, mainly for NOED
-
If youre worried youre better off taking a little break until the sever issues are fixed, i personally havent gotten DC mid match, just at the very end of it, after the score is revealed

hope you do it as sarcasm , coz why using that perks when i can guess where the survivor will be spawned
Its actually a good perk for some killers, including Nemesis, or Shape,
It helps killers that need to build up their powers, this allows them to do it rather quickly,

I will forever be pained by the irony that Billy was nerfed for being "too good" while Nurse sips from her glass of wine atop her tower of power.
Well she did got nerfed, but the issue with Nurse is that she breaks the game, the obstacles which are the main defense for the survivors mean nothing to her, only a few other killers can get around them but nowhere near the same level as her.
-
I remember going against Billy pre rework and it was just a nightmare, the guy had good map pressure on top of having an insta kill he could spam over and over, it simply was too much.
While the rework clearly weakened him, you cant deny it was needed, maybe tweak his addons, but allowing him to go back to being able to use his chainsaw how much has he wanted shouldnt return

The same can be said about killers camping and tunneling or using noed. You don’t nerf one sides toxic mechanic without nerfing the other sides too
Those things are not even close to the Key my man, camping wastes the Killer's time, while the victim is screwed, so is the killer, all other survivors should just Gen rush him.
As for tunneling, it depends on the survivor tbh, if the survivor is good its the same thing, it will waste the killer's time and give a lot of freedom to the other survivors, theres also perks like Borrowed Time on top of body blocking.
And Noed while annoying can be countered before it even activates, they just added a perk made to find totems easily btw.
-
@SwampDaddy said:
I read the descriptions of both new survivors and after playing several games with the new killer, there seems to be a massive imbalance.
Please tell me someone else notices that the new killer is ridiculously underpowered.
Idk, might be a bit too early to tell, and most ive heard, see him has a fine killer, not strong and not weak, just somewhere
in the mid
I did heart from most that his addons could really use some tweaks though
-
Regarding the blind thing, that a new perk from Jill Valentine, she can set up a mine on the gen, it last for about 40 secs max i believe, so if the killer kicks it, they will get stunned and blinded.
Btw it wont count has you kicking the gen forcing you to do it again.

Funny thing, not even Classic Nemesis nor Mr.X
Mr. X pulling out a tentacle and having its arm infected with those virus tumors would just look weird tbh.
-
I think he works best on indoor maps where theres less room to move around, which makes both his tentacles and zombies considerably stronger
On open maps though? the zombies become largely useless i think.
-
Jumpscare Myers, probably some of the most fun matches you will have
-
It will likely come out at some point
