99ing the gates is just survivors exploiting their way around the EGC, so they dont feel pressured to go for saves. So essentially, in this case the EGC does nothing.
Exit gates should passively regress.
And no, survivors are not the only ones who exploit, but since more people play survivor than killer, more survivors tend to exploit since the playerbase is larger.

You can disagree all you want, the developers of this game have stated many times EGC was only meant to end the game and not pressure people.
and 99ing hooks are so completely different from 99ing gates I have absolutely no idea how you could even make that comparison, and a survivor isn't tapping a gate, someone else has been on that gate to get it to 99.
The EGC is only meant to make games end, it is not meant to pressure anyone survivors have already completed their main objective, if you haven't killed any and are struggling at end game because of 99d gates that's a you as a killer problem.
The devs also said clown is underrated.

The Entity will create a 24, 30, 36 diameter ring from the completed generator in which the survivors cannot step out of for the next 10, 15, 20 seconds.
That way the killer can actually punish the survivors that finished a generator if they make it in time. Imagine seeing the large dark circle all around the area. The survivor will have to hide, and make use of whatever obstacles are within the space until the barrier disappears. They’ll have to be more careful of which gens they finish too. If they finish a gen in the middle of nowhere like in the corn they might become trapped in the cornfields, and so on.
Why not just block every gen for a particular time instead? Atleast helps with quick gens.

I don't see any golden crows anymore. The last time I saw one was during 4th anniversary. I always thought it was meant to be a 4th anniversary thing.

Red ranks.

You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villian.
-
I'd really not care playing against SWF if I get shards as a reward but it's highly unlikely they do that.
-
I dont know why they bother healing unless they have self care but staying on other side of a dropped pallet while injured is a very good tactic against deathslinger. Just pre drop pallet.
-
Tinkerer is good with killers like bubba or fast movement killers like Billy.

@Primalux135 said:
Thats for encourage people to play but indeed bloodpoints aren't enough for me. They should give iri shards
I agree. Shards would be a better reward. BP is just not tempting enough.
-
Cruel limits should be reworked to block every gen for a particular time after a generator is completed to slow down progress a bit. It's kinda passive though which is what I'm worried about.

wouldnt it just resort in ormand and auto haven being banned about every game? you would need a way to do this
- The three maps chosen are random. It may or may not have the maps you mention above.
- If the maps are banned about every game then there is something wrong with them which means the devs will look into it and make them better.
-
Don't even remember that music anymore.
-
You forgot about the part where they get banned from matchmaking for an hour.

With the numbers being pretty clearly split down the middle so far, I think giving the option to opt out of SWF games as the Killer isn't a problem. If 50%+ of the Killers are open to the challenge, that should more than cover the SWF, assuming they aren't the vast majority of Players now. The rest of us can do the Solos. :)
Exactly my point.

@CashelP14 said:
I'd leave the game if they added this. Q times would be too bad.
For SWF. solo queues would become much faster.
-
Killer's getting a buff. He'll be a bit strong after that and they will slightly tune him down to a better spot. Take oni for example. He's in a good spot right now.
-
Tier 1 and 2 aren't really considered for balancing so it doesn't really change anything
Only thing it does is reduce time it takes to get every perk for every survivor.

I'd love if they reduced the amount of polygons and particles when you break a pallet / wall so my poor Laptop doesn't catch on Fire
Apparently there's an issue with optimization that wasn't present during testing.

That's a matter of opinion.
I've gotten every killer adept (which isn't something you stumble into by luck)
I've reached rank 1 as killer (before I stopped playing for months and deranked)
And I've done these things with little to no slugging in most matches. At most, I'll slug if I down someone and there's literally another survivor RIGHT THERE.
Its kinda dependant on what killer you play, what mal you get and how good the survivors are.

250 Auric cells a month gets you access to old perks like old Ruin/ Perk strength from the PTB
Take my money!

DBD Quickpass: Tired of waiting ages for a lobby? Then buy your Skip the Fog Quickpass. Skip the line and get a game instantly. Only 20 Auric Cells.
Additionally get the Anniversary Pass and be the scout in your team. Know the killer right from the beginning and see his aura for 10 seconds every match. Only 1000 Auric Cells / month.
Both these ideas will lead to heavy backlash from the community and can be classed as pay to win.

Blight has good perks. Discordance is good but dragon's grip is on par or even better than it.
-
Fixated was only made to be able to see your own scratch marks. I think the walking speed was added just to make them different at different tiers. It's still weak though so I wouldn't mind if it works while injured.
-
Diversion :)
-
I think the killer has PTSD going against SWF. Too poor that they get a wrong impression of the game just because of how well a SWF can perform.

He can kinda move faster than billy with the right addons.

I found that audio in the PTB was overall much quieter for me. I don't recall really being able to hear Survivor footsteps very well.
Most other audio is quieter in PTB. Footstep audio seems to be unchanged. I guess that's why we hear the footsteps louder.
-
@Godot said:
Yes, I think the audio is a bit messed up or refined. I'm not sure which one it is, but I vote for messed up, because the footsteps of the Killer are the most annoying thing I've seen (and heard) in this game since Legion Thanatophobia/Dying Light combo.
I have to agree. Hearing killer's footsteps seems unnecessary. However I love how well I can hear survivors'
-
He needs to be able to see his own feet. That's the buff he needs.
It's technically a nerf...
-
It should be a basic attack but it's classed as a special attack. Might as well whiff the hit and hit him again.

Well dejavu has no cool down and im sure even the most newest of survivors can see 3 big bright red gens.
Dejavu doesnt necessary show the 3 closest gens. I've had games where it showed me the 3 farthest gens and it was completely useless when I was in a chase and get hooked later on.
-
Considering that the killer needs help, they'll look into the perks as well.
-
The new undying totem itself is based in luck. You need to hope that the hex that is cleansed isn't undying but instead a different one.
-
It's also a quick path for the killer to use.

Are they actually testing on console before it goes live? I'm really starting to questioning this if they have "plans to revert it" if it causes more drops.. I sincerely hope they know what they are doing because if the FPS drops even lower than it is then it's going to be totally unplayable. Right now a can handle it.
The new graphics looks super cool though!
Consoles don't have PTB which means they'll have to push it with live. PTB for PC might happen but it doesn't guarantee that consoles will have better performance.

Some leaks say the PTB will start today and I'm 90% sure they are right, but who knows?
Based on previous releases, the PTB should be today or tomorrow but the Devs said 20th they'll speak about graphical update and the upcoming killer.
And usually trailers come the same day or after PTB. Not sure about this part though.

But we get it when it's live not in testing
If the console's had a PTB we'd tell them off the rip if it made things worse
They'll have plans to revert it ASAP if it causes any significant performance drops.
-
@gunslingers_potatoe said:
I assume it's going to be in an hour or two right? Idk why I am so hyped about this chapter but I can't wait to see the new content xD
Is it true? I thought they said 20th.
-
Aren't we overreacting here a little bit? It's not yet out. Let's hear what the Devs have to say first and try it out for ourselves.
-
They reverted MMR matchmaking. Which means it'll be bad until they fix the worse MMR matchmaking.

I feel like spirit is one of the easiest killers that I go up against. Freddy and Doc I agree are overpowered, but when I see leatherface I just want to DC
That's interesting. She's currently the strongest killer in the game alongside nurse.
-
They've done it before and they've said that demo's rat liver as a base kit is a decent idea and will take into consideration

I thought @ScottJund had a great idea where once a week they buff the ######### out of 1 or 2 perks and nerf 2 others. Then tge next week they revert the changes and pick new ones. And its as simple as number changes not reworking the perks. Even if something turns out stupid and/or broken so what its only a week.
Reverting changes every week doesn't seem like a good idea and only adds to confusion.
Maybe a point based system would be cool. Stronger perks require more points and you can only have limited points. More points for killer

Shotgun collar
Once a gen is done the survivor with it active can't be within X range of another survivor or it'll start a timer (80 seconds)
an active Shotgun Collared survivor will detonate if the survivor is too close for too long
Removing the collar could work the same as the RBT (boxes) but limits the Number of boxes to 2
The Pig only gets 1 Collar
I had a very similar idea but the timer should be shortened. The idea isn't to waste gen time but to prevent other survivors healing and survivors performing co op actions. It's kinda good at late game.

ofc you will protect your main
- Traps are extremely powerfull because it prevent you doing gens
- her dash reach and speed are equal to sprint burst (I can't escape even with that)
- Patrolling is actually easy thing to do. It just guess
- If pig decides to patrol boxes and using her crouch. Its GAME OVER for survivor.
- The point is to prevent you from doing gens :/
- Her dash is faster than sprint burst but it's 1 second less which means you can dodge it with sprint burst
- Patrolling is easy. Downing survivors isn't.
- Every killer can run insidious and camp near hook and it's game over for the survivor. Why bother patrolling the boxes? Besides patrolling boxes doesn't guarantee a death.

I looped a billy for 3 minutes on hawkins without leading him to any of my teammates and only 2 gens popped, why do survivors not do gens even though the killer isnt near them?

Now I know it's a bait thread.

Ideal killer for a SWF to bully

@RakimSockem said:
Your justice is that survivors actually have no good ultra rare anything. XD
Brand New Part - nerfed twice (maybe 3 times? I forget)
Syringe - Nerfed, now useless
Odd bulb - Useless. Only works if you know the flashlight timing and even then, you can just use any add on for the same effect
You must remember that there are 4 survivors as opposed to one killer. All 4 survivors can bring ultra rares and killer's ultra rare should be on par with them. For example, consider brand new part. 4 people running it can finish an entire gen in a matter of moments.

BECAUSE she is annoying and OP at the same time. She is extremely easy to play. She doesn't require any skills like other killers. My pig posts are not bait and you must be respect them
Then why does no one use pig when I play survivor. The last time I played against pig was when MMR was introduced.
