Just make is so after 3-5 minutes of waiting those killers get priority regardless of rank. this shouldn't not be expected this is the fault of poor matchmaking, Reward killers for ranking up don't punish them. Institute a casual mode or something I'm getting sick of waiting.
-
Why not make his transition time lower with each transition so survivours have a chance to realise what there up against and it would be in line with him slowly tormenting his opponets before the lethal blow.TatsuiChiyo said:Considering his character is tormenting people before he kills them, I really think a passive affect of the Dream State should be fake pallets, and maybe an add on that boards up some vault spaces as well in the Dream World. And this from a guy who hates going against a Freddy because he's already a little difficult for me to deal with.
With how easy it is to wake up, I'd also lessen the time it takes to make them fall asleep from seven seconds to five.
-
Sad thing is you still lose if you pip up and 4k queue times are nightmares for red rank killers. Some survivours arent t-bagging out of disrespect apparently some survivours think its also a way to show respect weird huh. I deal with this problem by writing a list of survivours who pissed me off. I call it a mori list.
You get on this list by running ds, hatch camping and farming other survivours. Flashlight saves I respect, good pallet looping again I respect. Instas i also respect as it might feel cheap for the killer but its is pretty heroic to see good application of the item on allies to save them. Bt or body blocking dosent even bother me provided you didnt just farm your teammate for benevolence or points. -
I hope this change prompts people to run a dedicated healer or two. On top of that allow players to indicate their playstyle in the lobby for randos obviously this is concealed from the killer i.e. Healer medic, evader runner, lightbringer technician. Having everyone run meta perks like adreanline, ds balanced landing/dead hard is kinda stupid when you stop to think about it.
-
Self care is a massive time sink if you want to slow the game down spread out your damage and watch how slow gens progress. Honestly SB is the weakest exhaustion perk in the game this is very clear as you rank up and see the number of dead hards and balanced landings as opposed to sprint burst. Because SB is designed for newer players who dont know the timmings for dead hard or the drop down points of balanced landing.Wolf74 said:Some perks are just way overpowered like SC and SB.
And other create annoying situations like DS, Adr and BT.
Really "toxic" is just OoO. That's a perk just made to abuse SWF voice com and troll the killer.
See SB is really easy to use but is in fact much weaker then balanced landing which opens up so many more loops as the perk passively negates the stun on falls. Dead hard can be used to reach a pallet and remove a killers blood lust if there aren't that many safe pallets left.
The real top tier perks are Decisive strike and adrenaline. Decisive strike on a good looper is pretty brutal and when you throw swf coms on its ridiclously powerful. Adreanline is strong as a survivour but you do earn it as you did last long enough to reach exit gates so its a perk i do respect. The wake up shouldnt be their tho poor fready.
Sabotage is pretty toxic but only against weak killers as many killers can and will slug you all which in general is a much stronger strategy then just hooking you. Borrowed time got the nerf it needed long ago and imo is pretty balanced i just wish farmers couldnt abuse it for free saves whilst getting their teammates killed. Maybe make it so if their hit and put into bt its counted as an unsafe unhook.
Leader is a fun perk but pretty mid tier as far as perks go. -
Vigil should be reworked but exhaustion recharge while running invalidates the nerf made. As long as sprint burst exist vigil should never recharge while running. Alternatively buff all the other exhaustion perks so they can be regained whilst running call it fatigued instead. But increase the recharge timer to 60/70/80. That way vigil dosent reduce the perks timer dramatically.Poweas said:@Zarathos said:

I'm tearing up from laughter.
You do know that not all survivor mains are entitled douches right? Some actually try and help others out.
That is true but all the duuuds out there are really loud and tend to speak over sensible survivour players so often survivour representation tends to be really bad. Killers have to be good at dealing with loss and stress to reach the top so it tends to humble killer players fast.
Its also a society thing we feel bad for the underdog even though in this case their mass murdering monsters XD. When we see survivours complain its like watching the advantaged person complain they broke a nail. Often there problem can actually be serious and reasonable but we tend to veer to one side and stick in that camp because opening your mind to other opinions requires effort and empathy. I don't think dbd was designed to appeal to that demographic of people.
I guess I never feel bad for the killer because my friend group doesn’t BM the killer. I rarely if ever run into lobbies where the survivors are being entitled bullies. I run into more killers who get salty because a survivor actually knows how to use flashlights and pallets to their advantage. Then they wind up camping or coming back with NOED the proceed to call all the survivors trash. Just from my own experience. I never feel bad for killers, don’t have a reason to.
Not saying that survivors are always friendly because they certainly are not. I’ve run into my fair share of entitled survivors while playing killer.
The killers are beginning to become more entitled nowadays, and survivors don't say much about it anymore since the devs never listen for example the windows nerf is completely unnecessary and yet the killers are begging for it. There's no more nerf needed to survivors except for the perks. If the devs add this window change I may as well become a killer main
Tell us how you do i guarantee it is not as easy as it looks XD. In all honesty everyone is not reading the patch notes fully. We have nerfs for both sides. Killers like trapper have trap buffering now. Huntress had her windups reduced, survivors get invincibility frames after unhook exhaustion replenishes immediately on being hooked.
Everyone gives the devs ######### for supporting one side but its utter nonsense both killer and survivor is changing and people like you make it hard to take your complaints seriously. Survivors are complaining so are killers we don't want balance As players we want a constantly changing horror game. Is killer to strong yes and no. For swf groups killer is still too weak, for solo players killers are way too powerful. The devs made the decision to improve the solo survivor experience by giving the players some of the tools that make swf strong obsession can now be seen chased allowing players to focus on rushing gens for instance. Honestly I blame swf for the high power level of killers it should be relegated for casual play only not ranked. Something has to give either survivors have to play with swf level tools and killers continue to get buffs or swf has to be limited as the difference between these groups of players is too massive.
Killer is still pretty easy I've been improving on Nurse a lot and got Shadowborn, Sloppy butcher, BBQ and chilli and a Nurses calling on her. Games are pretty fun and I feel the control. The healing nerf is dirty lol and with sloppy butcher it's really good. I haven't gave upon survivor and I've regained my skill lol. I was maybe a little mad about the windows nerf except for removing the mindgames to the shack it's really not that bad and easier for killer. The game is in a good state I'd buff Vigil to recover exhaustion while running for 60 secs since that'll be a little more fun for survivor but apart from that the new buffs are fun for both sides. Solo survivor btw.
As for sloppy butcher healing is hard but now more then ever will survivours need to have a dedicated healer or two. People need to start running autodidact or "well make it" to counter the healing nerf. DBD needs to look at giving survivours a means to communicate the role they will be playing medic, distration, gen repair etc. -

C Freddy, Leatherface, TrapperOP pretty much overrates most killer.
Massively disagree with spirits position as a she may not have as much mobility as billy and lack an instadown but her power catches out survivors better then billy as you you can see billy coming. Finally she is way better at dealing with survivors at loops its like saying nurse is crap because 50% of the killer community play her badly. Spirit is insanely powerful and she will continue her rise to become the second strongest killer in the game. Now if a killer is overrated its billy seriously just hop a vault or force an m1 hit if you think your gonna be sawed. Also doc is definitely not that far up especially when you consider that the docs shock stun is way too low and vaults still have the suction effect so you cant effectively shutdown loops. Myers I agree isn't quite s as his stalking takes way too long in high ranked games.
-
Small potential exception is a fully stacked save the best for last which can reduce you cd attack animation by 40% when fully stacked. I haven't tested it but if someone gets the chance to test it let me know.

Can we please get a casual mode. Seriously id like to be able to help ease my friends into this game whom are new without them facing ######### like mint rag hag because my goddamn rank is to high.
The issue with every game being perma ranked is that no killer or survivour wants to chill or focus time on practising a specific element of their killer like deliberately hunting others far away to improve their tracking capabilities or pick up a new killer whom they have little to no experiance with.
Also why not award shards for end of season rank. That way people wouldn't be gaming the system to derank and exploit weaker players. -

Quick fix for this do not bring luck offerings and tell people in chat or don't (trolls etc) . Not to bring luck offerings that affect the team deliverance is said to be bugged that it resets your luck from 100% to 4% as the luck offerings are putting it above the cap.

Ds is far more common as you rank up on account of its power. Same reason you will see bad killers with noed at rank 1. It occurs more frequently and is frustrating to deal with as its hardest counter is slugging which is not fun for either side.MegMain98 said:@Zarathos said:

DS is a one time use thing while SB or BL can be used more than once. DS is perfectly fine and in fact could use a buff because it’s hard to hit due to how fast the ticker turns, and is hard to hit especially with the doctor. Here we go again gather round boys and girls its time for the ds talk. Ds is a fundamentally broken as it grants the survivor an additional chase. One use is still one additional chase which in DBD is ridiculously huge discounting the fact that it can occur up to 4 times if survivors are savvy on where they get downed. A skill check is a pathetically weak excuse for its power Like noed it gives way to much power for a perk and has incredibly awkward counter play as no other perk can compare to it.
Before you add hur dur run enduring or unnerving presence those are soft counters. 3 seconds is more then enough time to reach a pallet when you use the perk in a smart manner. Also unnerving presence is so bad in high ranks it actually speeds up games as you are giving survivors more skill checks which translates to more greats. Rank 1 survivors who are not boosted will hit that skill check and it will seriously mess up the killer. Deliverance is a great example of what ds should look like huge consequences with a requirement needed to be met. Ds should be a team ability that stuns the killer and opens up opportunities for body blocks and flashlight saves. losing a hook without admirable application of skill is pathetic. Skill checks don't demand skill they are a mediocre challenge that gets mastered within two months of play.
DS is extremely hard to hit with Doctor especially if he is running Unnerving Presence, that much I agree with what they were saying.
I’m not huge fan of the suggested change with DS where the killer is simply standing in place for two seconds.
Not EVERY perk needs a counter. DS does have counters in Unnerving Presence and Enduring but as you mentioned they are soft counters.
I believe the best bet for a DS is have it be like Deliverance were the survivor suffers from the broken effect for a certain amount of time. The ENTIRE rest of the round is overdoing it just a little bit.
I used to run DS but I switched it out simply because I wanted to change up my perk loadout a little bit. Honestly I don’t see A LOT of survivors at my killer rank (between 8-12) run DS. If I have Rancor on 80% of the time the obsession doesn’t even have DS.
Doc as a killer gives ds a lot of trouble and unnerving has a place on his kit as he actually affects skill checks in a meaningful way. However even then doc is a low tier killer on account of his stun being useless on many looping spots. So at that point your playong a weak killer to sort of counter ds.
Perks with a power level so high you need hard counters. Its the nature of balance. There should be consequnces and weaknesses to ds. Breaking the killer grasp is way too huge an advantage for a broken effect if you ds you should be moriable. -
Sprint burst is ridiclously overrated. I regard it as the most new player friendly exhaustion perk as it allows weak survivours to last longer. The dead hards and balanced landing exhaustion perks are better as you often you have better control of when you use it and you dont have to walk around the map in case the killer starts a chase with you. You often don't see it coming as killer or it forces the killer to play in a sub optimum way.
-
Or are pretending they didnt see you by walking at an angle that suggests they dont know where you are so they can immediatly turn around once the gap has been closed a bit and punish.Orion said:I'm going to give away a big Killer secret: Survivors are not as good at stealth as they think they are. In my experiance these survivours are smarter. Why take the risk of assumung a killer dosent see you or the crow you triggered 5 seconds ago. Leatherface is hilariously powerful against immersed survivours who assume that you havent seen them.Khroalthemadbomber said:

Two wrongs don't make a right. I'm all for nerfing the ######### out of ds but it should happen in the same patch as noed getting nerfed. Both are ridiculously overpowered perks that have no place in this game. Yes i know their are counters but these counters are hard to achieve and can be troublesome depending on the maps you get.
-
Honestly i have nothing against deliverance. In my eyes that should be how all powerful survivor perks work high power but serious consequences, Adrenaline is annoying but you do have to survive to end game which isn't a fault of the perk but the game being so short. #nerftoolboxes. As for instadowns like make your choice you have time to evade the killer is 36 meters away use that time to duck out or wait till they are at the edge of the terror radius. You cant ignore make your choice you have to play around it like how all killer perks should be. Noed in my eyes is still cheap as many games you will have weak survivors who will require you to rush the gens and leave totems. The movements speed is salt in the wound as well. Spirit fury again has counters drop the god damn pallets early and avoid stunning the killer. The combo requires two perk slots ffs.I would like if both ds and noed got nerfed to the ground simultaneously as both are nasty broken perks that by themselves are way too strong.
-
Doc gets illusionary doctors which give the doctor a general direction of where you are as a survivor. Obviously screaming gives you away and a good doc will always check lockers every once in a while to make sure no survivors are hiding from his static field. Stealth is incredibly weak against doc but looping is very strong against him. If your facing doc drop pallets a little earlier if hes charging the stun and loop'em like a normal killer. Also try to avoid letting him 3 gen strat you. its a docs favorite strat. Hes pretty low tier and in my personal experience his attack with his weapon is kinda wonky so often enough you will see them overestimate their range or fk up their swing.

Ok so for those who think these add-ons are balanced try them out and see how often you can actually hit survivor with the painfully slow windup or the fact that you get a massive heads up to dodge the killer charging her hatchet. You have 3 shots at most that is very limiting no wind up makes hitting survivors crossing pallets very hard. Maps have cover use it. The huntress has 110% ms that's 5% less then your average killer. Even monto and true struggle landing hatchets at close range.
Its just a normal hatchet. As long as you dont need 4+ hatchets to hit ONCE, its easier to use iri heads, since you dont have to hit twice.
Wind up, wind up, wind up. You dont realise what losing two add ons to just get a instadown means. Its devastating how nany pallets hits or loops are required for you to get that one hit. If you play incompetently enough that you cant abuse the huntresses hatchet limitations or low hatchets ammo you deserve to get wrecked. I honestly would waste a shadow ward on the heads i save then for my babushkas and infantry belts. Iridescent heads are a meme for weaker terrible survivours.
Does it mean, you cant hit hatchets without insta addons? Is it such a big difference for you?
I play her addonless and can hit hatchets just fine. I fully expect survivors to continue looping at high ranks. Thats why i bring enduring and just run them down.
iirc its just -12% and -8% now, so i really dont think it would even benefit me much, since i hold hatchets in the open. Previously you could cheese hits as they came unexpected with -50% or so. Never played insta addons on huntress though. But i played one match with Iri heads and that was a waste of time. Why are you taking these loops every second your taking a loop is time spent on a gen you don't have the luxury of waiting for the pallet to drop you need to be proactive as a killer. Their are a lot of maps that have jungle gyms and closed off areas that fast windup is essential. That 12% 8% is the difference between a hit and a miss. I agrees instas had to go but base huntress hatchets are terrible because so many maps punish you harshly for not having a proactive power that can help in enclosed walled spaces. Ya you will have survivors who don't respect your hatchets and will take hits because they treat you as if your trapper, freddy or wraith but players who play around huntress will force you to adopt wind up speed so the gaps to get a hit widen. This game demands you spend your time wisely and running down survivors with enduring completely misses the point of what the huntress is suppose to be. She should be getting you at vaults and pallets without having to spend a slot getting wind up. Iridescent head come with the punishment of drawing wind up away from you and makes reloading more common and that means your easier to loop and have significantly less opportunity to get a hit through windows or pallets.
Like i said, you dont NEED windup addons. They are a crutch.
Run them down and punish them with hatchets. You dont need a slot to get them at vaults and windows. Its a mindgame, which is fair.
If you used insta addons you turned them into guaranteed hits, which skipped one skillful part of playing huntress. But you can still play her normally and just take the risk of playing pallets and she is still toptier. That's fine if your ms isn't cut down by 5% its not a mind game at that stage especially with the design of many pallets and vault locations. You are recommending enduring on the huntress which is fundamentally wrong. The huntress is supposed to be hitting targets going over vaults and pallets its her nature as a killer. To cut chases shorter by hitting them with a ranged weapon. Forcing the survivor to play the mindgame of whether the huntress will lunge through the pallet or pull out a hatchet. Currently you can't do this with base hatchets as the speed is too low on wind up at base.
Many of the best players know the huntress is not top tier and its down to the fact that many maps are not built for range killer she is the most overrated killer in the game. Look at the trucks and cars with invisible hitboxes the jungle gym areas or shacks that gives you no opportunity to hit your target unless as I said they don't play around your hatchets. Their is skill involved with nailing a survivor at a distance or out in the open but not all maps are designed that way. For every large open map their is a congested close range map like hadonfield. She will never be the killer you people always make her out to be because mobility wise she is limited. So her ability to pressure the map from a distance is limited to what maps you get. Why is billy and nurse at the top because mobility and map pressure ultimately always trumps a slow moving killer.

Why in gods name are you vaulting so close to her. Take the m1 hit or move somewhere else. Stop looping a dropped pallet. If huntresses are getting free hits across vaults then 200 iq play dont vault and just run to the next area and juke her hatchets even the best players fk up close range hits and long range hits. If you have erratic movenent and are capable of dodging you will force her to m1 and spoiler huntress m1ing all game will lose. Wind up big deal they jump a pallet they're fresh meat since you can't miss. They go to vault a window well fresh meat as well you can't miss.
The only ones that miss are those with bad aim, the good killers that either use overlays both ones on their screen and actual overlays don't miss.
Those are the ones that make those items op and broken since they're so easy to get.
In so sick of survivours who don't even know how to play against huntress who act like iridescents heads is insta lose. At point blank huntress with iridescent could not hit me because i spun around and moved left and right so she couldnt aim at all. -

Even monto and true struggle landing hatchets at close range. Its just a normal hatchet. As long as you dont need 4+ hatchets to hit ONCE, its easier to use iri heads, since you dont have to hit twice.

Him being able to get around the map makes sense why it is billy and nurse who are top tier because they do not have to continuously makeup massive distances by just walking at 115% ms. Killers should be able to cross the maps better. Billy is not op hes the standard all killers should be at.

I feel like its killer speed and actions vs area of map and objectives. Everything a killer does slows them downYeah, this is by design. Otherwise if every action was instantly performed, you could just chase survivors for the entirety of the game with no downsides. You have to pick your actions selectively, otherwise you'll spend too much time doing one thing. Just comes with learning how to play killer.
Large maps like pale rose grim pantry and ironwork's should not be so horrendously to try and cross with base killers. It partly why I hate hunting far distances and prefer to just camp/patrol survivors if I'm playing anything except billy and nurse.

You lose windup add-ons which is pretty brutal on a lot of maps not to mention even the best huntresses mess up point blank shots if your evasive enough. Had one huntress at rank 1 fire 3 iridescent hatchets at point blank and missed all her shots. These hatchets also mean you have to reload often so your losing time. The power is insane when they land but its very easy to deny the huntress her hatchets.
-
Run both i know you will all say you can only use one exhasution perk effect but Balanced Landing is insane for the passive drop stun reduction. Its like the enduring for survivour and on maps like the game is insanely clutch. Plus if you encounter exhasution or instadown builds or add on killers you can use BL early instead of relying on dead hard.

I am not denying it works sometimes but for me my opponets are more well able to use my humming radius to pinpoint the direction im coming from. So M&A dosent work well for me. But eh if it works fir you fire away. Do try shadowborn out and tell me if the increased view helps at all.Peasant said:

For the pig making a survivour require two keys and putting rule set no 2 on by default would help fix the annoying rng of boxes on the pigs side. For survivours i would make the boxes more spaced out so a pig cant patroll them when they spawn so close to each other this is particularly bad on the game map. Also make it so the trap doubles in speed if an additional gen is done. I know greifers might be a problem but in the end they are screwing themselves as they will be down one player and will only be screwing there chances to escape.
Leatherface needs sone bonus effect on his hammer. Perhaps a slow upon hit or clown like disorientating screen blur effect. Also reduce the slow down on his saw charge so he can more effectively clear pallets with his saw when being looped and potentially use it more on the chase. Also make his saw not lose its charge immediatly if you let go to early that is frustratingly clunky.
Doc shock range add ons should either not increase charge time or have a longer stun dependant on how long it take to charge as i find myself rarely using high stimulus as its terrible in chase as you cant effectively stun the survivour.
I love the shape change ideas of having evil regenerating espicially since i find myself avoiding the long stalk items as they simply are unfeasible if i burn through much of a survivours evil.
Trapper should have the ms bonus when moving without traps except in chases in which he reverts back to 115 ms. I like the idea of starting with two traps by default.
Billy i think is ok but that qol change sounds ok to me. -
I get your frustrated that killers blame their faillings repetadly on swf. But claiming were whining and should stop complaining while desperatly pointing out some fixes incoming really hammers home how unbalanced the experiance is. Some killers don't fundamentally work against swf. Trapper for instance will have all of his traps disarmed and marked by other survivours. I see no solution to making him viable vs swf.powerbats said:@Dabrownman1812 said:
Most survivor mains don't understand the advantage it gives. It can't be that much of an advantage etc. Voice breaks the game, even when I play swf I don't read loadout, I play as if I was with randoms and tell my homies not to teabag unless they camp. It's a pretty unfair game breaking edge when survivors know what they are doing and are competent. Most survivor mains don't get to rank 8 killer and lower to see the difference in high rank swf and low rank swf. Pretty much facing ed, edd, and eddy or you're facing the expendables lol.
Actually most survivor do understand and most streamers also aren't jerks like a certain PS4 douchebag. But what we can't understand the lengths some killer mains go to blame swf for their poor game play.
This forum is littered with posts claiming it's 4 man swf with 4 ds/sb etc when that's not even remotely close to the truth.
It's hard to take a lot of killer mains seriously when they blame everything that happens on swf, voice, ds, and whatever other excuse they want to use.
We all can agree that swf makes it more difficult and the devs are slowly changing things to make solo on equal footing so killers can be brought to that level.
But looking at the posters here that's never gonna be enough and it's why people use the you want 4k every match and everyone on hook.
When you killer mains sometimes won't even call out your own side for such blatant bs and even defend them when you know it's bs you're just as guilty as they are. You also basically say to everyone that hey we want 4k every match and easy games.
It doesn't matter what the truth is the perception that you're all just a bunch of whiny spoiled entitled children comes through loud and clear. Throw in the usual insults you direct or let get directed unchallenged and you're just as guilty.
The post game screen is getting changed so killer perks can't be seen and as far as voice they could take that out and you'd still whine. You've obviously forgotten Steam chat and speech to text messaging haven't you.
If you think for one instant those people in the dream aren't going to communicate somehow you're mistaken and it's hilarious you quote the devs when you're all so busy bashing them using the same logic.
I've said it before I'm hoping they create a non swf queue and then you have to choose which one you want to play against as killer. Once you choose however YOU'RE STUCK WITH IT, meaning you can't ever leave that solo q no matter what.
Don't like long lobby wait times well tough cow patties, you got what you wanted and now you're stuck with it unless you buy another copy of the game. Because if there's only 30% of the player base that does solo q then you lot have to divy up that 30%.
The nice thing is killers that choose to stay won't be lobby dodging because they won't care, they'll get super fast lobbies. The survivors won't get lobby dodged anymore because they won't have to deal with it anymore.
Lastly this last parts would have to be once they buff killers up to swf level of course but then you'd have to come up with something new to complain about.
A killer like trapper needs no voice comms to be viable. Ive played a large amount of swf and solo play and I get the appeal hanging out with mates and acting as a coordinated skilled team is incredibly rewarding and enjoyable. But it should be a challenge a killer is warned is incoming where their aware they need to bring their A game. I have went up against swfs teams with some weaker meme builds into swf and its depressing how little impact you have completely unaware that they were a co-ordinated team.
Also your solution is anti new player friendly. If a new player enters the game and finds the decision show up how can he make an educated decision on whether he wants to play agsinst swfs or only solo. Make separate queues for this game one casual and one ranked. Ranked gameplay is solo only and casual is swf allowed. Its such a simple solution. Casual will also be a good node to test out fun weaker builds instead of playibg against optimised teams and survivours -

Here's a couple of undeniable facts that are 100% true.- This game was not designed from the start to have SWF. Therefore it was made with that balance in mind. This has been acknowledged by the devs 100%
- You cannot, however, remove SWF. Being able to play with friends in a team is a basic multiplayer must have for games in this day and age and a huge oversight on the part of the devs and they know this.
- However, if they balance the game around SWF, the solo player gets screwed.
So the devs have taken the following path - they are slowing seeking ways to bring the solo players up to the level of the SWF. As that's done, they'll be free to continue to buff the killers to match the playerbase.
Until then, we're stuck with what we have.
Given the number of people who dodge lobbies - instead of trying to pressure them into staying, you ponder why beyond your usual "they just suck" rhetoric.
That being said - if you consider disconnecting from the game more than once a night, it might be time to play Civilization V anyway....
Man I'm glad its civ 5 your recomending civ 6 is trash. XD

Blame emblems, survivors of lower skill are in deep ranks. Had two survivors dc in one match because the killer was billy. Certain trends like that kind of weak play never happened in certain rank aside from a toxic few before emblems.
Less points awarded for unhooks but more points awarded for heals in the emblem system and we will fix a large portion of low skill survivors entering high rank.

immediate de-ranking? LOBBY DODGING INTENSIFIES
@RSB
You know, that's like saying "i want ez matches" :POr i want matches seriously have you seen the queue for rank 1 killer its absurd. 15 to 20 mins for a game. Also good god the high rank swfs are a nightmare you need to run very little hex perks and pray the number of adrenaline dses do not exceed one or tow because otherwise you lose unless your playing top tier killers or push to tunnel a survivor early out of the game. De ranking occurs because punishments aren't as harsh for dcing but its also linked to incredible imbalances.

Then change the game vs players who can direct each other whats close to being done or when a save is optimum or what direction the killers going. I have played from both perspectives and its unbelievably unbalanced.powerbats said:@Wolf74 said:

Did your team sport like 2+ toolboxes or flashlights?
Did they have legacy clothing? Bright clothing?
Toxic names? Twitch or YouTube tags in their name?4 strangers = 30%
2 friends + 2 strangers = 34.1%
2 friends + 2 friends = 9.5%
3 friends + 1 stranger = 17.9%
4 friends = 8.5%I really wish killers would stop using the 3 and 4 man swf as an excuse to lobby dodge, it's childish. You know as well as I do that if you get a swf indicator you'll just dodge even more.
If you they put in a non swf queue then you should be forced to play that queue only then that way you can't dodge swf anymore and those that have no problem facing them can get lobbies quicker.
But if there's only 30% solo lobbies only then your wait times are going to be atrocious.
Relaying information on killers position to others. Giving the location of hex totems to the team. Giving the killers perk layout on death. Guys killers got noed. Watch out guys devour hope. Haunted ground and ruin dont touch the totems.
You call us entitled despite the fact that you are feeding information no survivour should know telepatheticly giving the location of all key objectives and threats. You can talk fron your pedestal claiming its entitled but i dare you to face down 10 rank 1 swfs as trapper and tell me how much fun you had knowing all your traps will be disarmed and your position always being compromised. -

Ya there is a giant difference in skill level between console and pc players by virtue that pc players have more experiance they also tend to have way more competitve communities. Freddy is considered the worst killer of em all by basically the whole community.
If you say that he is viable at red ranks, you should write a guide and make a YouTube tutorial.
Because so far, I have a hard time believing you just saying it.
I will admit, he has to be using at least 1 purple addon with a green to be good. His red addons are really powerful. I wont waste red or purple addons on him until I hit rank 7.
I posted a freddy only build in the post I made last night in the Killer Build thread. Check there for one of my Nightmare strats. -
Mori builds are strong by nature of being mori builds. Dying light a funny meme but class photo adding two seconds of dream transition time is way too long. This is not going to work consistently in high ranks. You will have a lot of bad games before this goes off properly.Dabrownman1812 said:

I got freddy to p3 and did a rank reset to rank 1 challenge with freddy i can give you the build that works the best but even after everything i would trash all the freddy dailies. Hes terrible and poorly designed whose game mechanics make you feel like the most powerless killer in the game.
Heres the best build i found sloppy butcher and ruin to slow the game down just a little bit and to try and limit self care. Save the best for last as you need to snowball in order to stand a chance of winning and bambozzle. Every add on except dream transition reduction is bad do not use any of them except dream transition reduction. Never use red paint brush the ms penalty is too low to be an effective m1 killer.
Gameplay is sadly best played with tunneling a player out of the game as early as possible if others try to protect take the free hits, sloppy butcher will make the body blocking dramtically slow down the game. Do not try to play nice your freddy the weakest killer in the game you cant afford to play nice. Once a players is gone begin to tag and slug the remaining survivours. Obviously avoid the obssesion but hit them if you get the chance sloppy butcher will help slow them down.
-
Sloppy butcher, make your choice, bbq and ruin for the spirit.
Sloppy butcher save the best for last ruin and bambozle for freddy.
BBQ, bambozzle, enduring and ruin for billy.
Nurses calling, sloppy butcher, ruin and shadowborn for huntress RIP hatchets.
Nurses calling, sloppy butcher, ruin and bbq for doc.

Reduce cooldown, make her whoosh non directional and finally make her husk have a 16 meter terror radius. Other then that she perfect as she is.
I love monto but aura reading should not be on the spirit as it will definitely limit design space for aura reading perks on killers for the future.
Shes a high skill killer. Who rewards predicitons. Again use her power to get close to surviours using scratch marks when learning her. Word of warning do not spend to long phasing as its very easy to lose prey if your phased for too long. Once you got that down use a survivours injured moans to hit a survivour out of phase. A cool gimick is standing still by pallets to bait a survivour into running across.
Currently you need to run cooldown add ons with speed the rest of her addons are to awkward to use and her cooldown plus movement in phasing is too slow to go without these add ons. Hopefully this will set you on the right track to learning the killer. -
Back on topic rin is almost perfect shes just due one or two more changes. First faster default cooldown as a base as it is mandatory to run cooldown on rin and limits her add on options her cooldown addons can be nerfed to compensate for this.
Next make her whoosh noise non directional. This is a problem for the future when survivours start picking up on how to use this against her it gives away to much information. Maintain the whoosh noise to let them know your phasing but do not make it directional.
Finally her husk needs to have a terror radius of at least 16 not 8 meters as again this give to much infromation away currently. Most of these ideas were proposed by bricky and after throughly testing the spirit I 100% agree with them. -
Well i dont dodge hardcore survivour players or swf groups. Their are some trash rank 1 players but I dont want a coin flip to decide if I'm going to be a viable killer at rank 1. Many content creators go through a lot of ######### games at rank 1 to find a game where their cool build worked. Thats why perkless freddy won games occur at rank 1 because the stars alligned and you got the trash rank one players.powerbats said:@Zarathos said:

people do well with freddy but i don't see anyone calling him powerful.
True but those that get know how to get the most out of him do so and the same for Rin. The Nurse is a perfect example of those that will learn the cahmp to the fullest will get the most out of them. IF you're not willing to work hard to maximize and learn them to the fullest they'll always be trash.
you know every killer has a limit to their power and their counters define their viability. Its not healthy when a killer like Freddy best build is the one that barely ever uses his power. The only advantage you should capitalize on with Freddy is his stealth run dream transition reduction and don't bother with any of the other add ons their all trash in high ranks. Nurse on the other hand has multiple blink builds and distance builds all which are incredibly powerful she also ignores what is for the most part been the hardest mechanic to balance in the game. Pallets and vaults. Nurse is usually always consistent because its all down to reads and muscle memory. No map abuses or pallets or lack there of. But back to my point some killers have to many limitations and not enough complexity or reliability to be good. The pigs is insanely good with combat straps and video tape but the rest of her add ons cater to the RBTs which are rng and incredibly inefficient.
You cant sit their and pretend theirs some super secret powerful way to make a killer like Freddy good because he as a killer is fundamentally flawed and badly designed.
Yet people run some of his builds at rank 1 or go perkless and do just fine. Most killers in fact don't run solely their own perks so lets not pretend that's a valid argument either.
Im all about getting consistent victories or at least close games if the build only ever pops off once in 10 games then its a bad build. Despite my constant experementation their is only one good freddy build and one good pig build, dream transition reduction and dash attack builds. This makes the remaining add ons useless and a waste of my bp. I want consistency in my killers espicially at rank 1 when im waiting 5 to 10 mins for a lobby.
