That makes no thematic sense nor does it fit leatherface. He needs a more varied kit with his own unique style. I think his hammer is worth improving on considering the brutality displayed in his movies are the centre point of his character. Adding an additional element to his hammer strikes would similar to the pig set up some potentially new play styles for leatherface.Poweas said:@Zarathos said:
Leatherface needs a buff for sure but its not as clear cut as charge time.I said his movement speed needs a buff, not the time of it.

If survivor nerfs continue billy will be a problem same as nurse. But until then having a killer who is both accessible and usable in high ranks is better for the health of the game. Not everyone has the time to get nurse down and making that the only viable killer in high ranks is a bad experience for not only killers but survivors who are already getting sick of the limited pool of playable killers in higher ranks.

@ChesterTheMolester I agree, my second game EVER with him was a 4K with 1 gen remaining, I fell he needs tweaking, because it seems almost easy when I picked him upRank is an important factor high ranking survivors will know tricks to bait out the saw and cause stuns which can buy more time then an m1 kiler just hitting you. Easy to pick up yes but difficult to master because it will involve reading the direction a survivor will juke.

@Zixology If you truly believe what you just said, you may need to rethink how you play the game and get better. I'm not being rude, I assure you. Those who use the 3 Gen strat on Doc are pure cancer. Learn to play correctly and win chases. Use Billy.
"Play correctly" wow you survivors really know how ruin a game. The 3 gen strat is a strategy that is favorable when behind asking someone to play the loop game and telling them its the only way to play is incredibly unhealthy as it makes killers predictable and games easier for survivors. But that's what you want right.

Sorry to disagree, but you made mistakes in the heat of the moment.
i did too. i watched several times the game where they absused me and learned from it what i could have done better. Then i learned more and more from their tries. But i never had a game were they abused me and all 4 escaped. At the best, one could escape (by hiding while his buddy bled out, or because his buddy suicided on the hook for him to leave).
I don't even use special builds for them, i just stick with: ruin, thrill of the hunt, bbq and last one depends on the moment or killer. And even with this build some don't care about ruin and just use thrill of the hunt to bait you into checking your totemsWhen you are chasing an injured survivor, you can chose the moment yo get him down.
As i said in this useful and (mostly funny) guide, survivors have the upper hand until they are knocked down. Killers have some tools to mess with them. You just need to gather up your thoughts and play it calm. Once you start to get frustrated, mistakes come faster.Except if you were reading the situation you see it was unwinnable because even when there down their is always ds. If you think you can win a game against survivor playing optimally go watch a depip squad video you'll quickly learn communication shuts down any advantage you may have as a killer. You might be lucky to salvage a kill at best but with body blocking plus ds its just not gonna happen. The situation he mentions is unwinnable. The tree area he mentions is blatantly bad map design and you say that a team with sprint bursts and ds'es wont somehow always make it back their. Your right about mistakes coming faster with frustration but you can't honestly tell us that practice is gonna be enough to fix these kinda scenarios.

Worst part is even if you play in medium lower ranks players like ochido deliberately have alt accounts to fk with the ranks system so you will get matched with them. Was looking at his videos recently to get a handle on how his kind play and I noticed his rank was 20 with the rest of his friends having a scattered ranks. The map you mentioned is the worst and is probably the main reason for defeat even players like true talent struggle on that map. If you want to get revenge pick up nurse. We all are going to have to if it means sending a message to the devs that we aren't playing the loop game.
-
Honestly I hold the devs to blame the hook system is utterly broken and offer far too many second chances for your average m1 killer. If you want to win as killer you milk hooks as best you can and rule of thumb eliminate a player as soon as 2 or 3 gens are complete. A comeback mechanic should be introduced to help a killer come back . Perhaps a free mori once the 3rd or fourth gen is powered and 4 survivors must be alive. Survivors have countless perks that help them come back and killer perks that work at the end game rather then as gens are being completed are too conditional to work.

I a lowly scrub killer myers start chasing a dwight his flashlight, loops and 360s make me sad so I go hunt other people. I down the claudete hook her and then the dwight starts taunting me by running next to me. Trying to draw my aggro away from the nea. I tier 3 and tombstone him because dwight tunneling me with his flashlight was mean and bullies get tombstoned.

Leatherface needs a buff for sure but its not as clear cut as charge time. His kit is nearly indistinguishable from billy and power is lacking in depth. He has no power to assist on a chase besides reeving his saw for an early down which is conditional due to pallets and window loops shutting down his ability to. At base his saw has terrible range and length with add-on's he still cannot force pallets unless the survivor is unrealistically close to him. Applying a buff to his hammer to apply a dazed effect is an idea i was toying around with. Not quite like the clown but similar to a doctor action stun.
E.g. then entity has augmented bubba's hammer causing blows to devastate the physical and psychological state of other survivors. Survivors suffer from blurred vision negating the survivors ability to read auras and do actions. Basically blinds the survivor and cause blurred vision similar to the clowns with an action stun similar to the doctor. I welcome any other ideas. But bubba's kit is too simple and easy to work around survivors should not look at bubba and think all hes gonna do is camp my ass.

@Zarathos you want me to stroke my ego?
Fine.
Edit: Huh not working. I'll get a clip.
Edit 2: Clipped
Problems
A. One escaped.
B. They got all the gens
C. No decisive strike (this is hugely important due to momentum lost if you cant juggle them to the hook.)
D. Many of them are running sub optimum builds e.g. no one left behind, were gonna live forever
E. No items brought in with the exception of a yellow toolbox with sub-par add on's wrench (really?).Props where due
A. It was grim pantry which can be pretty nasty as far as maps goes when playing a low mobility killer.
B. A 3 man is still quite impressive.
C. Freddy doing this well is still impressive and worthy of praise. -

Bubba's Chainsaw.Yet like a pleb i end up messing up my chainsaws more then my m1's. I don't know how i can play billy relatively well but be so bad at using bubba's saw.
Also on hilarious counter if a little specific is mori'ing them with a tombstone piece as Myers. People will know not to mess with you from then on. -

Yeah high ranks are so ######### I can consistently do well as Freddy without Ruin.Pics or it didn't happen.

If you are caught as a survivor your life is forfeit. Never assume you have 2 or 1 more chance you are on the hook the executioners pedestal. If you see a killer camp your ass remember its not a robot with a predictable AI. Its a person. If you loop them for the entire game never trying to stealth away from them your life is forfeit should they catch you. A good example of misunderstanding this concept is ds. If you ds at the first down you receive tactically its is best to use it then and there. But if you do you risk pissing the killer off. Henceforth he will likely camp your hook if the game goes unfavorably.
You need to be careful about provoking a killer. This is a horror game. Need I remind you michael god damn myers wont take kindly to being stabbed in the back. He will delight in watching you die. I've played my fair share of survivor and i can tell you i don't blame the god damn killer for camping. I blame the p3 claudette who left scratch marks all the way towards me or the david and nea who are both trying to go for a save rather then one doing a gen close by to pull the killer off me. If someone facecamps me at 2 or 1 gen I'm ok because i know i fked up i didn't try to lose the killer after 3 gens were completed. If the exit gates are powered and i got caught at the end then again its my fault. People think a dbd game continues once the doors are wide open. No it doesen't. Unless your gonna make a desperate play that person's live hooked outside the exit gate is forfeit to the entity.

@FixTheCamping said:
It should based off skill not because a killer decides to camp its just unfairHow is a survivor skilled if they run the killer around all game and fail to lose the killer once. The survivor has access to a vast number of stealth perks if you got full gen focused or full mobility builds killers will continue to pursue. I had a game recently where a survivor tried to bait me as billy away from a hooked survivour i wanted to leave the hook initially but then she start using the near infinite window loop on the ironwork's and i said forget it, i m going back to the hooked survivor. Your forgetting that as a survivor you may want to drag a killer to an unfavorable position. The killer can do the same with a hooked survivor make no mistake going for saves aren't always possible but the time netted by a survivor just staying on hook can allow you to complete several generators. New survivor players may have a rough time but what about killers. How do you think its fair to toolbox rush all the gens against new killers who don't even have ruin. Or what about them getting dsed or infinite abusing. Both sides have massively unfair advantages the game will heavily depend on who get the opponent to their playing field. When the exit gates are powered this is especially ridiculous to ask of a killer especially killers who lack instadowns.

Gotta be trapper. Love the chess master style game play of locking down certain areas survivors can travel forces survivors to play smart and think on their feet. Pity gens get done so fast. Very nice to play during rank reset or rank 20 - 10.
