They mentioned it on the dev stream but survivors will never let it happen. It's just another one of those things they dangle to make killers think they may actually get something. Some day.You never know, they talk about lots of ideas so you never know what they will come up with next
-
I definitely think that having the power grow more and more due to people being in a dream state is a great idea and would encourage Freddy to focus on all the survivors instead of tunneling one person for effective power usage.

I wasn't saying you were wrong about it being 4 seconds. Just stating the definitions so everyone knows...
So from what I read you want LeightWeight to be 4 seconds because bloodhound is 4 seconds?? -

Wonderful idea as long as your positioning isn't given away to the killer. Sure, don't let Survivors escape when someone is hooked, but don't give me up if I'm hiding near the exit. The position wouldn't be given away, as long as the survivor is on the hook the bloodwarden effect would stay up
so a quick save or use of a perk to jump off and everyone escapes scot free. still a tiny bit better then nothing.
Yupp I mean it makes the end game more interesting cause there is more at stake

There are many ways of countering self-care:
Nurse's Calling,
Thanatophobia,
Sloppy Butcher,
Coulrophobia,
Dying LightPerks that indirectly counter self-care:
Monitor and Abuse (on specific killers),
Make Your Choice,
Stridor,
BBQ and Chili,
Devour Hope,

It is not 25-30 hours of gameplay

Isn't looping technically the survivor running a path just in a circle, the distance is still the same anyways and you could just run in a straight line to a pallet in theory..

Hard to do so when you must wait 20 minutes to get 1 person in your lobby
which is why you play kyf with her against other people

If I see 3 flashlights or more I just go play a different killer. Two flashlights against her is not that bad as long as you place the traps in non obvious spots so they don't have to check

PTB copies your data from the point before the PTB has been started. From that point on both versions run different save files, i.e. if you buy stuff in the live version it wont carry over to PTB and the other way round. The PTB savefile will be deleted once ptb is overSo basically means, once I switch back or the PTB ends, my stuff is back, yeah? Just want to be sure as I wouldn't want to spent 30€ for nothing.
Yeah you will get your stuff back on the live version, it copies from a couple days back before they release the ptb so if you bought them after they did the save files than you wouldn't have those killers on the ptb

Only reason I'm stickin around on the forums is to see more bs band-aid fixes and maybe, by some miracle, see the devs actually fix DbD for me to consider returning.

No, your suggestion is what's stupid here. You don't even explain what removing the husk would accomplish. You can use it to block doors, pallets or vaults. Removing the husk makes her signifcantly weaker.
No it does not. It shows everyone when she enters and is a ghost. It is simply a crutch that reveals everything since you hear her dying inside.
But wouldn't removing the husk anyways show that she is now in the spirit world anyways? hypocrite much?
xD I think you need to look up what hypocrisy means. And no it wouldn't. I wouldn't show the survivors everything it does now.
Ok since you don't understand what I am talking about I will write it out for you.
RIght now when she uses her power she leaves her husk behind which is stationary and has a constant terror radius in that area. We all know this. You are proposing that the husk is gone which means their is no terror radius at all. That change doesn't really do much at all. If the survivor sees her at one point than doesn't see her husk/her anymore than they already know that she is in the spirit realm anyway. What the person above was saying is you can use her husk to block pathways/vaults/pallets which is more useful with her power. The survivor already knows she is in the spirit world so why would it matter if the husk is gone or not
The logic would be that removing the terror radius of the husk would mean removing the ghost radius so it would be fair
Just because you remove the terror radius doesn't imply removing the ghost radius...

if i can get 80% of my gmes 4K with freddy i am skilled i believe, and freddy is by far superios to her, what is the point to mind game and be quicker if you have no idea where they go, yea you can mind game but you have to be lucky that they went where you went, if there's 3-4 directions they can go, and so can you, what tells you they went the way you went? i don'T see how her power is usefull, and even if they go in the same direction, you have to be really close to them since the lundge even with the speed bonus, is very very small, she need a massive buff.
Do you wear headphones when you play? The audio that a survivor makes allows you to locate them. Do you watch the screen and the surroundings when you play? You can see the grass and footprints much like survivors have to do with Freddy. Do you stop chasing or fake her power? survivors may stop running or think you are actually moving and you can surprise them. There is plenty of ways to make her viable. People just have to learn them as they do Nurse.
exactly what I was going to say, but you said it better

You can still hear their footsteps, you can see and hear grass move, if they are injured you can see blood, and if they are running they are showing scratch marks, you can predict which way a survivor will run if you use these to your advantage and know which way they will come around a corner or a loop

Well you can always leave the game after the game is over and not read post match. Players will talk ######### whenever they can about how you play, so the best thing is just to move on and if you do think you made bad plays during that game just learn from them and don't let people get under your skin.Well, if there was a post match chat to avoid, I am sure the OP would. Jammy is a console gamer. There is no post match. They are sending DMs to Jammy. The only way to avoid it would be turning off messaging from anyone not in your friends list.
My bad, it was a tip for PC players reading it too, but yeah I understand it more and should have read it clearer
In theory, I do agree with you. Ignore the comments, let people talk ######### and move on. Sadly, not every person has that layer of thick skin and they do take the words of others to heart, even if it is via a game.
Yeah true, not everyone is the same and we are all different people who come from different backgrounds so words can hurt. The only thing we can give others is our advice and another piece of advice from me is at least they aren't physically there
I think honestly the fact that nearly all have said, do not let their ######### bother you, move on and play your way is probably the best advice that can be given in this situation.
I do apologize if I came off as rude with my initial response to you.

yeah survivor does not mean killer. Killer is a completely different role and many people are trying to play her. I had to go play her in kyf just to try her because of how many people are trying to play her. Good luck trying to get into a match. Survivor is easier to get into a match because so many people are trying to create killer lobbies you instantly get put into one.

I'm sure we've all been there. A team of overly altruistic survivors is forcing you to stay near the hook. And at the end of the game... They call you a camper. Despite the fact that you point out their altruistic behaviour they still believe it's just camping. That you're a bad killer.I've received so much harassment from groups like these. Hell, allow me to give you one of the many exchanges I've had on PlayStation 4.
"Chili BBQ and campe?"
"You didn't give me much choice."
"You campe because you're bad that all ^^"
"No. I 'camped' because you guys wouldn't go away from the hook."
Side not, I then followed this up with "But hey. If I'm bad you're worse, since I killed you
Keep crying bb
". Because it gets tiring hearing the same old accusations. So, Survivors, what's your thought process when a killer is staying by your hook? Do you assume they're camping and do you then proceed to go out of your way to message the Killer?
And Killers, how many of you are actually guilty of 'camping' for no reason? And how many of you face these sorts of messages every time you play?
At this point, it's very discouraging. I was having a lot of fun prior to this. But when you see someone accuse you of these things, insult you and belittle you... It disheartens you. Of all player groups in this game, Survivors are slowly becoming my least favourite.
Well you can always leave the game after the game is over and not read post match. So I had a match on torment creek and the survivors would literally get on the tractor and keep vaulting over the side that has a walkway that’s blocked by a block of hay and it was impossible to get them.Is this an exploit? Or is there something I don’t know about how to get to that part of the tractor and stop them from vaulting back and forth?
My advice as killer, you should just follow them up and vault the window or mind game them to fall down. Most of the time I usually vault it unless I know that the survivors will fall for the mind game.

It all depends on the current situation you are in to give an answer..

My personal opinion:
Toxic behavior is bad manners against the other player who was minding their own business. In Dead By Daylight, it is hard to assume what bad manners in game is because it is still subjective to the player playing the game. The behavior can also be disrespecting others after a fair match and having unsportsmanlike attitudes toward one another. Now if someone made a bad play, you can point it out, but it never needs to go to the point of harassing a player or making them feel uncomfortable. This is the internet, so you will run into players who will have this type of behavior anyways. -
toxic is subjective though, everyone views toxicity in a different light..

It is because people are doing the same thing as you. They rather derank to get worst killers and than they would run into you. Also as the season goes on for this rank season you will start to see less and less people in the lower ranks and more towards the middle since most people don't derank. And for the people that do than you will run into them.

Well, as for the P3 Clown he could have had 1,000,000 bloodpoints saved up, plus using the Shrine of Secrets to get bloodpoints from purchasing a perk. Though that's a stretch and I know it. As for the stories told of him harassing these girls... I sincerely hope those girls are free from his clutches. He has the sort of look to him that would make me avoid him if I saw him on the street, just out of instinct. My spidey senses are tingling about him... Something about him just rubs me the wrong way about him. I usually try to treat people how I'd want to be treated... But he uses bullying and other people's frustration to try and be 'funny' when at this point what he does is normal survivor gameplay. Oh wow, he threw a pallet down on the killer. Oh wow, a dark clothed survivor hid successfully. The only entertaining parts of his videos to me are the glitches, the odd occurrences. Not what happens each time I play a match as survivor.I am pretty sure they are since the videos are coming out and more people are speaking out about it

Instead it seems a lot of them, especially in groups, get really cocky and obnoxious.
When me and my friends play survivor, yeah we work together but all of us get scared when the killer is around and games are intense. Yet as killer I encounter survivors who instead of trying to escape will literally start running circles around me and it feels like Benny Hill is playing in the background. Last night I had a game where they gen rushed and kept tea bagging at the gate and one survivor literally stayed for an extra 10 minutes and wouldn’t leave. Another group kept unhooking and body blocking me. I don’t want to camp. Camping is not fun. But I have to because otherwise I would have gotten nothing for my time beyond a displeased entity who can’t be satisfied with multiple hits and hooks. I think they should make it so after x amount of time in a chase, survivors start to get exhausted like a reverse bloodlust. If they get hit, they get a burst of adrenaline but they are slowed and vaults and pallets become twice as long to use. Pallets should automatically break after 2 uses and they can’t be used if the survivor has camped the vicinity for more than 3 seconds. In compensation I also think survivors should be able to wiggle faster, and completed wiggles take priority over hooking. And the last survivor should get a bonus for being the last survivor, like automatically getting the ability to self heal (or faster) or taking one extra hit or hook.
Survivors should live up to the name, not act like frat kids toying with someone.
The problem with fear is that fear is a subjective opinion to how you feel about something. Just because you nerf the survivors doesn't mean that they will start fearing the killer. They might keep more distance away, but not exactly fear.
I think I explained enough in my post that basically killers should be threats and the game should find a way to reward determined survivors without sending killers on goose chases or outright toying with them by camping at a pallet so I’m forced to eat a stun or destroy the pallet anyway because in another chase some jerky survivor will loop de loop between vault points and pallets.
I was agreeing with you, but yes I do understand that which is why I said "nerf survivors"
