I think that is wrong that another player has to suffer just for someone's sadistic amusement!

Well he shouldn't have been caught in the first place that is the persons fault for making the mistakes to get caught unless it was a bug that got him caught than that is a different story, but 99% of the time it is the survivors fault for getting caught..

dude, don't comment on a pot that is five days old. that's ages in the internet time. do it now or in a couple of days. Also this is part of a longer post. So address it all or don't address a single section. And your statement to " he shouldn't never been caught in the first place" is so annoying. he cannot avoid getting caught, you can only prolong the chance of getting caught. On top of that, you should of said "they should of never got caught". Since this post is over five days old, you can reply if you want yet I will not take a peek at this. If you want to debate this any further, hmu on my homepage or another forum thread relating the matter.

Since you won't see this than I really could care less about your debate at all. You are on the internet and forums for a reason to talk to people. I wanted to discuss your point, but alright whatever..

Instead it seems a lot of them, especially in groups, get really cocky and obnoxious.

When me and my friends play survivor, yeah we work together but all of us get scared when the killer is around and games are intense.

Yet as killer I encounter survivors who instead of trying to escape will literally start running circles around me and it feels like Benny Hill is playing in the background. Last night I had a game where they gen rushed and kept tea bagging at the gate and one survivor literally stayed for an extra 10 minutes and wouldn’t leave. Another group kept unhooking and body blocking me.

I don’t want to camp. Camping is not fun. But I have to because otherwise I would have gotten nothing for my time beyond a displeased entity who can’t be satisfied with multiple hits and hooks.

I think they should make it so after x amount of time in a chase, survivors start to get exhausted like a reverse bloodlust. If they get hit, they get a burst of adrenaline but they are slowed and vaults and pallets become twice as long to use. Pallets should automatically break after 2 uses and they can’t be used if the survivor has camped the vicinity for more than 3 seconds.

In compensation I also think survivors should be able to wiggle faster, and completed wiggles take priority over hooking. And the last survivor should get a bonus for being the last survivor, like automatically getting the ability to self heal (or faster) or taking one extra hit or hook.

Survivors should live up to the name, not act like frat kids toying with someone.

The problem with fear is that fear is a subjective opinion to how you feel about something. Just because you nerf the survivors doesn't mean that they will start fearing the killer. They might keep more distance away, but not exactly fear.

  • @Confused_Senpai said:
Since the changes to SB through the exhaustion change, it would be nice if you could make SB more predictable by putting it on an active use key like DH. I understand there are things like urban evasion and simply just walking till the killer is on you then you can SB away, but when sprinting to gens or trying to save someone using SB in those moments could prove the difference between extending the chase or getting caught. Yes, this might be considered an improved DH but unlike DH it doesn't mitigate damage and would function normally just pressed on a key rather than being randomly used by your first sprint.

TLDR: Put Sprint Burst on an active button instead of the current randomness.

The issue with making it an active button is it just becomes lithe without jumping through a window. No one would use lithe anymore and just time the activation of the sprint burst key. It would be pretty strong so they will never do that..

I know but it seems too slow and subtle. I will try tho because I don't want to contribute to toxicness.

You can cancel the point animation if you run while mid point. It doesn't take much time to do and is what I usually do. Try this out and see if you like it.

I have to agree with the original posting, agent 47 raised some good points, I also believe the riggle mechanic's is an absolute joke I can't remember the last time I successfully got out of a riggle without being place on the many many many hooks the killer has at their disposal, some of you guys talk about looping or training the killer around in circles but this is also a joke as whenever you turn a corner the killers long reach will most definitely clip you so running around a car or similar doesn't work also mentioned was team work and other players some of you spoke about playing blocking the killer etc etc this is OK but it is based purely on luck as its a 50/50 chance you will have skilled players on your team and then it's 50/50 that one of these players actually help and support you. I have found that alot of the time I have become used as bait whilst left on the hook whilst other players run off to work on gens and never make attempts to rescue me so Yea great talking about team work, don't forget killers have great perks like hexes that really stamp on a survives chances, I think this game purely solo play only most of the time, I respect everybody's comments and that agent 47 admits he's not a very good player and people like him will suffer, may I suggest to the devs a lonewolf perk which supports those players singerly or something alone those lines

did you even read any other post besides the OP? There is a thing called body blocking that you can use to your advantage to not get hooked. second just play the game more and you will see why survivor is the power role..

  • People like you care so much how other people think about you. Just play the game and that is just a game mechanic so of course bodyblocking is ok..

  • Should send in a report about it and you should be compensated.

  • I mean the body is there for a reason to block you. Unless you want to run through survivors like ghost than lets implement that great idea into this game....

Two back to back games as killer with 2 sacrifices each game and i depip. This game is so broken i often wonder why i still play

It depends on lots of variables and we would need to know what emblems you got to determine how you played..

  • @OGlilSPOOK20 said:
When we level up 100 times we basically start over and get a Devotion and get less shards again. I feel like we should get even more shards or even get auric cells for getting devotions. Maybe give us new prestige outfits like going pass p3 to p4,5 & 6.

Technically you are not getting less shards. You require less experience points to get to the next level when you are level 1 or level 10 in the lower range. Which is why you gain less shards per level up. The exp per shard ratio is still the same. Now for why they don't reward you that is up for a moderator to answer you cause I do not know..

  • I just love the outplay aspect of the game. Lots of variables and factors come into each match and every match is different. Even though it can be a map you have played on before or a killer you have played before, you can still have a unique time up against different survivors or run away from a different player playing the killer.

i think both ds and noed are vastly overrated and situational at best.  an inability to counter either means thou art bad.

You say this, but then how many survivors escape when they shouldn't have because of DS? How many killers get kills they shouldn't have with NOED? A lot, being able to counter them doesn't mean they still aren't crutches for bad players.

Just like how bitter murmur gives locations of all survivors with no skill besides the survivors finishing the generators.

You could consider Bitter Murmur a crutch, but at the same time it's impact on the game is far less than NOED. It's like Sprint Burst for survivors, very meta but doesn't impact the game nearly as much as DS. There are also several alternative options, like BBQ/Lithe respectively. What makes them not exactly a crutch is that they don't single handedly sway the flow of the game. It can over time, but not one instant, unless it was an extra critical one maybe.

Yeah I agree though noed is given for not stopping gens which is a reward for people doing gens too quickly and not destroying totems. The reward it gives the killer is too powerful like you say

    Flashlights are useless?
That's strange. I have no problem getting a save. Have you tried aiming at the head?

Every time I tried to flashlight save someone, I managed to do it. With flashlights I found in a chest, since I don't bring flashlights into a match.

You can drop the survivor and the blind doesn't go through so I don't know what you are talking about sir. Even if you aim and do a perfect flashlight save I will deny it..

the Hag same thing Midget on steroids, had her a long time never really used her, again the animation suck they both need a re-boot taller and re -do the hooking animation these types of games need that is good if not great action animation that's why nobody really uses them I bought Freddy because I knew being a fresh killer for the summer BBq he would get a lot of BBq invites and I could get the pro-pain hammer fast same reason I got Kate, did the summer BBQ- 3 days about 24hrs. still they both Freddy/Hag need a facelift/ hooking animation re-boot long a waited what do you guy's think?. leave your comments down below, thank you

You go and say that these killers are never used because of their animations which is an opinion not a fact and right after you state that you bought Freddy. The hypocrisy is real in this one. Btw I play hag a lot ;) just because you don't see a lot of people playing a killer doesn't mean no one is.. Her height is how her play style is. If you don't like it than feels bad.

Increasing her traps to 16 is way to strong. I do really well with 10 already so giving me 16 will just make it impossible for survivors to do anything. As for Blood Soaked Bone, mint rag does this already so idk why you mentioned it as a "new" one.

Or how about you don't run the window and find another survivor who isn't running that loop easy fix..

Everybody can loop because its easy, its nothing compared to most games , for example in TF2 you  can rocket jump and use a Rocket to stumble an enemy into the air to a corner while you switch to your shotgun to finish him of before you even touch the ground yourself.

Even the nurses skill cap just pales compared to high skill characters in many FPS or fighting games.

So abandoning them will only lead him to heal up while the next runs in a circle around a building, pallet or jungle gyms.

Again yall think every survivor in every game is a good looper when you can easily just find the weaker survivor by leaving the stronger one to knock them out of the game so the game goes in you the killers favor more. You can outplay a survivor on a shorter loop than a stupid broken window loop btw...

    1. Looping is still easy.

    2.  You are basicly asking to camp and tunnel the weakest person, which is by far the biggest complaint of survivors.

    1. What if every survivor in the game can loop good enough? Should one easy as hell technique be enough to garantee that the Killer gets defeated?

    2. The thread nor most complains are about unsafe pallets that can be easily mindgamed.

    1. Not everyone is perfect.

    2. Survivors complaining when they die because I find the weakest link and stop them from progressing gens mmhmm.

    3. Than all the survivors can easily get out which is why killer is still weaker than 4 optimal survivors unless it is a nurse that knows how to play.

    4. People complain about an obstacle when you can find another person not near the obstacle you hate

Here's the thing bud, you don't have to be a good looper to 1 V 1 the Killer. A map like Rancid Abattoir gives them so many pallets all bunched so close together that it's ridiculous.

Yeah I know there are broken maps with tons of pallets, not my issue that is the games fault

It depends. On the Storehouse it depends on if they heard Bamboozle shut down the cancer window. If you Bamboozle the cancer window and get rid of a pallet or two in that loop spot you have a pretty decent chance at getting them.

No it really doesn't help. Bambo usually lasts just until they get to the window again, I ran it a few times on that map with Huntress and they just kept going around like it wasn't even there. It helps with the shack, pig tree, jungle gyms, and double L walls but for some major structures it does nothing. Torment Creek is another map where it fails. Bambo is also completely useless on Lery's because of the sheer amount of windows, and is mostly useless on Game because of severe lack of windows that can be looped (most of the windows on this map are a 1 time use, prolly the only one that you can use to loop is the freezer window).

I personally find Brutal Strength to be more reliable overall compared to Bambo just because there's never a spot where it's not that great to use.

Or how about you don't run the window and find another survivor who isn't running that loop easy fix..

Right, because if they're the last one left I should just give them the hatch?

No that is not what I mean. What I mean is if their are 4 survivors or 3 left go for a different one that wouldn't just run to the stupid window. More likely to down them and surprise them or find a weaker link. If it is the last person just bloodlust them..

It's called finding the weakest link. If you chase one survivor around a stupid hard window and you can't catch them find another one to weaken the 4 and kill one out of the game...

His mind game potential is worst than other killers like hag, pig, freddy, anyone who is short. His power only helps break pallets better with the right addons.          So why are there two killers with the same ability to begin with why was Leather Face brought into the game?  Not complaining or anything just curious .
Do you think the instant down is fair or should be reworked into giving the hit survivor server bleeding and prevent them from being healed for 30 secounds. I mean I like this more honestly they're more then likely to lead you to other survivors this way.

Are we more likely to see more killers with the same ability this coming up season ?

Leather Face does have some great perks probably the only reason to even play him is for Franklin Demise

Both abilities do different things btw. One can hit multiple while the other can only hit one. Both have very different playstyles. Also getting rid of an insta down for a non heal is a nerf not a buff. The fact that you can't knock a survivor down and put them on a hook is a straight nerf.

    ...kindness.

hey guys. I play on the ps4, and ever since i reached rank 12 as survivor people have been very toxic.. I’ve always played the game for fun and NOT for ranks. I dont Care what rank i am, all i Care about is having fun with the game and test out builds and tactics :)

Yet today i encountered a lot of toxicity. First off as a survivor against a myers. The others were sacrificed and i had opened the doors to the exit. The killer seemed like he wanted to farm as he gave sign to something. I’m thinking its a totem but No it was the hatch. I go in to get that hatch and he immediately grabs me and go to a hook. He first hook me tho, instead he puts me down by the exit gate, so i crawl forward to reach it and one meter before i get there he grabs me and hooks me.

one thing is grabbing me at the hatch. I trusted him which i shouldnt have.. it was a legit tactic.. but WHY put me down so close to the exit only to grab me again and hook me. There was No reason for that, and i never teabagged or flashlighted.. i wrote the killer after the game with ‘good game’ and he then apologized saying he needed the points.. i left it at that.

second game i go in as a survivor with a 3 man swf group. We get 4 gens and i inhook people 3 times. I hurry to the basement to search the chedt for a heal kit but is downed and we all get hooked. Afterwards all 3 swf message me with toxic messages about how we are a team and i’m a leech doing nothing the entire game.. seriously? You’re telling me i was to blame? I wrote them that they should remember to have fun since its a game..

3rd game i was hooked the 2nd time. This guy that i had saved from a hook earlier comes closer. The killer is not near. The guy stands in front of the hook and looks at me struggling. He teabags and goes off. Then comes back right before i die to teabag some more. #########? We needed one gen to go. But why? Whats the point of being an ass?!

After all this i felt quite down. Why do people waste Their times just to be idiots? My suggestion is to fight salt with kindness. Lets ‘good game’ those salty killers and survivors until everyone shares the kindness.. kindness breedes kindness i hope.

if it is "just a game to you" which it is to me as well than toxicity doesn't apply at all cause it is "just a game"...

This game has always said that game play is up to the player. Do you work with the team and work at escaping. Or do you play more solo, hiding and allowing the others to do the work.

I do not have to out run the Killer, I just have to out run you applies. Sandbagging is a thing and if that's how you want to play that's your right.

Now after watching the latest Q&A, they say they are looking at punishing unsafe unhooks. This goes against the freedom of playing scummy. If its down to me and you and I want to unhook you so that hopefully you go down again quicker, and let the hatch spawn so I can get out that should be a option.

How many people have just waited while the second last guy struggles and dies so you can grab the hatch. Loads of us have.

Like real life the game is filled with lots of personality types, the work together types and the let the world burn just so long as I escape types. I do not think that survivors that are in it for themselves should be punished point wise for being "that guy".

When it comes down to it, if the game only let one person leave a match, we would all be cut-throat. Why do we need to punish people who don't wish to play "for the team"?

You don't have to play ######### to do well..

ok true, but they did say in the buff that he is getting an extra trap anyways too
