Devs can take all the clothes off survivors and play matches as them naked.
They could still be playing at Hawkins right now, but we would never know. If I was a dev, I’d be maining JVoorhees at Hawkins vs everyone in the office n whoever they felt like creating a skin for, n playing as, without patching any of it in for the whole DBD community.
I always wonder what all they’ve created in their private system at BHVR since 2016 that we aren’t/ weren’t ever aware of.

Maybe minor or unnecessary, but I’d like to be able to charge gens (similar to Plague’s vomit on an object, scenario) where Doc has the option to add voltage to gens... 1st interaction with that gen by survivor electrocutes them, causing them to scream out.
Just think it would be a fun addition to his gameplay.

Cute pink animations of Killers as they are walking around after hooking a Survivor who brought Kindred look kinda silly n amusing from a distance, imo. Love seeing that, n always gives me that *aww feeling everytime I see it☺️ My fav is watching Nurse’s aura as she blinks👻

Why they didn’t at least just rework DH to only activate within the Killer’s small hit box vicinity, by now, is weird. Must be difficult for them to reconfigure.

If perfecting MmR is too far-fetched a possibility, then at least give new players a even more in-depth tutorial with multiple skill level bots survivor/killer bots; and the option to choose the killer bot, or sth, so players can get a feel for what they’re up against before entering matches that aren’t always going to be just vs Trapper.

Yeah I do the same on Xbox it gives me some satisfaction knowing that these players who want to send me hate mail are denied the opportunity post match. It's like the final nail in the coffin after I crushed them in a game. It also allows me to go into a match and just mess about with weak killers and perks without being called a trash bot because I only got 1-2k.
If only they moderated the end game chat like they throw out bans & jail time on the forums for the most trivial things. The reporting system is a joke!

Coincidentally, I just finished a post with a similar notion. Yes, they certainly could take the initiative to better address the window for toxicity in DBD.

I'm on PS5 and have been playing for 2 years. I turned off messages a week into playing the game after someone I didn't rescue from a Basement camping Bubba sent me a message telling me to uninstall and off myself. Best decision I ever made. Post-game chat is something the devs should seriously give consideration to removing, as any of the few good interactions people might have are constantly tainted by the overwhelming (and usually undeserved) toxicity.
omg, the very first match I ever played, I was verbally assault-messaged (assSALT, pun intended😉) a bunch of aggression... such a turn-off😔
a good point, tho... devs set the forums to a upvote only feature, and do well to frequently police discussions to mitigate toxicity. Would be nice if there was a better resolve for post game chat on PC, other than forcing the players to simply skip to the character select screen to avoid it.
They remove bugs in DBD since they hamper the game’s internal integrity... toxicity is a bug that attacks the game’s external integrity (its playerbase). If there isn’t a in-their-game (post match) window for toxicity, then it isn’t possible to experience the unnecessary direct onslaught from a triggered player; attacks that have led ppl to permanently quit.
less players = less money
it’s a wonder why they leave that window in the game🤔

I'm also kind of sad by the amount of players on ps4 I tried to message just to gg after a dbd match and they had their accounts either private or messages blocked.
Can't blame them tho :/
totally understand that sentiment; it was a make your choice scenario for me, and I opted to live in absolute peace n freedom of every match just being GG’s all around, w/o the need to message it

Remember watching Probzz utilize (exploit) OoO as a god-tier loop weapon, resulting in a 3-4 escape nearly every match, and for the duration of his streams, daily
...although, he obviously didn’t need OoO to do any of that because of his impressive skillset, there are many players who loopingly crutched off of the perk’s early functionality.
Also, there were those who would play sooo stealthily that you’d never see them, or who inadvertently sandbagged teammates by revealing their aura at the most in-opportune times🙄

i’ve had messages turned off on DBD for 5 years. Even more satisfying is the fact that up until last year, disgruntled PS players were wasting their time typing their hate/toxicity into a chat box, then, upon trying to send the messages, were hit with the “cannot add some players due to their settings,” and whatever misery they were compelled to allow themselves to be overwhelmed by during the match was potentially magnified to a new level when they realized that I’d never be forced to participate in their guilt tripping or gaslit into their sinister toxic trap. I wouldn’t be inflicted by them in any way. I’d never feel their suffering at all... just unlimited power😌
Mmr is wonky by the way, like, to the extreme of being janky. I get matched with hella skilled god loopers on killers I’ve only played a few x’s... it’s lopsided n bogus, imo

Was using them in the final 30% of repair to counter Tinkerer (especially vs Onryo other teleporting/ speedy killers)... also just before survivors are hooked to finish the gen so Resonance wouldn’t activate.

everything DH has been talked completely to death anymore, so much to the point where even though I never used the perk more than a handful of times to begin with, I now absolutely refuse to use it... just like I refuse to watch Avatar after the obscene amount of chatter surrounding the film, and the fact that it felt unappealing.
anyway, since I use Balanced and it’s already had its nerf, I won’t be feeling any remorse or woe after DH gets thrashed... I don’t ever see OoO anymore & I never used that perk either, before or after it was gutted.

Having a impressively great loop n getting the “stuck on the hill” glitch🙄
Once had a suuperr bad muscle cramp in my foot from inadvertently putting my entire body into a intense chase, n physically leaning into every lunge attack, that I had to lose the chase and the match just to massage it out, smh😅

Barely got the “Holiday Get Together” achievement, n that was hard enough... didn’t even bother w this one. I never play Bubba or Trapper, so it’s probz impossible for me anyway.
also, I would’ve instantaneously, happily spent all that 60k BPs, but if there was a Trophy I could have at least felt like the accomplishment was worth more of the effort.
Devs should maybe reward us with special, shiny charms along with the BPs for certain challenges like that.

I haven’t ever experienced hackers/ cheaters on non-crossplay console games tho... maybe DBD’s only safe haven, for now

has happened SO many times in matches when I’m about to pip up the final slot to the next rank level (especially in iri); a DC/ 1st hook sui from multiple teammates, then neg pipped... often culminating in consecutive similar matches.
Sometimes it’s a wretchedly unfair climb, in solo q, up that 1mil BP bonus mountain😩

Really wish there were skins as a collection of the various characters from Alice for both survivors and killers. Would be cute☺️

SMG’s Buffy’s completely different, especially n the fact that it’s a multi-season series and not just a film gives room for so much more depth to her character for us all to fall in love with; I totally agree the series is better😌
