Movie Buffy is super SoCal valley girl, and the film is completely 90’s vibe and waay campy; not taking itself too seriously, almost to the extent of coming off as comic-bookish

Seems like the majority of posts like op’s are from ppl with fewer than 50-100 official DBD forum posts. Then they get truthfully purified into proper thinking by the killer majority, here, and rarely post again.
Is there a survivor main, or “mainly survivor players who rarely, if ever, play killer” community that these fellow DBD faithfuls of ours flock off to in-between their handful of “survivor friendly” posts? I haven’t seen it; genuinely wondering where they all go after posting here🤔

Since mid February, every 5 or so matches I’ll get back to back games on the same map; sometimes 3 consecutive games! Thought I was cursed, to the extent where I’ll bring an offering every few matches just to be certain to be sent to a alternate realm.
oddly enough, this month I had a day with every MacMillian map over the course of 5 games.
too wierd. A glitch? sth they’re testing?

I think they are intended for the player to paint them. But yeah i wouldn't trust myself personally with painting them so i kinda wish they were pre-done.

In the realm of possibility, tho maybe just better having around 13 totems on the map, only 5 of which are cleanseable/ blessable🤔
edit: survivors just waste time cleansing/ blessing false totems until they find the real totems

Played against a flying Huntress who used her iri hatchets on the first 2 survivors she encountered (who ultimately insta-DC’d), then let the Min & i farm while she flew around the snowy Ormond sky trying to hit us from above.

Kinda like that the character pieces are all the same finish, while contrariwise, kinda wish they were all in full-color as they appear in game.

Just running boons for a week or so helped to get the achievement... also, not going into matches carrying a map, or with anyone else bringing a map helped, as killers sometimes switch their hexes for other perks while in the lobby when they see a map, in anticipation of avoiding easier totem cleansing.

Always envisioned Legion as being purely faithful to Metal; always listening to Slayer or Cannibal Corpse while they work.
although, now that you’ve mentioned it, they probably do listen to sth like the band Low Shoulder from the movie Jennifer’s Body🤔

if you ever just KYF and get a chance take your time admire the realms through immersion w/o the constant terror radius and chase themes drowning it al out, the surrounding graphic art n sfx are really beautiful. Certain areas of each level are extremely freaky!

RIP Hawkins indeed, was a good map in my opinion i know others don't think so lol.
Hawkins was my fav map all around; super fun as survivor, n I loved the aesthetics so much that I didn’t mind playing there as killer... jus got hella wrecked by survivors in that realm😅

these forums are predominantly killer, tho, so it’s understandable... but I’ve also noticed this from survivors while playing killer, especially when they DC after I down them at the pallet that didn’t drop.

Thought I was doing sth wrong by playing the same way I’ve always played, and suddenly these pallets aren’t dropping!
The “drop pallet” prompt hasn’t been appearing as prominently as it used to, especially when running through the pallet and turning to drop. It’s like the angle has to be perfect anymore just to get the prompt.
Also, it’s janky af that the boon heal, dying survivor pick up, trap disarm, pallet drop, and mend are all activated using the same button on console; given that these situations sometimes overlap. Had so many instances where CoH was activated & survivors are healing when trying to unhook, then get downed in front of the hook.
Gets me all pissy trying to angle my survivor perfectly to get the prompt to appear for trap snap, or pick up a teammate w/o dropping the pallet😔

Replace BBQ, Resonance & DMS in your post with DH, DS, BT, etc. and you’d have 50+ upvotes by now instead of 0.

Been playing solo q 90% for 5+ years; (I swf like 10% of the time)
currently, it feels to be at the worst it’s been.
solo q survivors still being solo q survivors
...many of whom haven’t figured out how to manage Resonance & Dead Man’s Switch, especially when coupled with other Gen slowing perks.
It’s a fun challenge trying to play your best while working around the random teammate’s temperament during each match... but to truly have a decent game, every game, SWF is the alpha option, killer a hard second for mediocre amounts of pleasure, while solo q feels better as a dead last or not at all choice, atm😔

With each new patch/ chapter, everyone has to wait for the download / copying of files / instillation, etc.
Just found it interesting to think of all the time we’ve spent in our lives, waiting for all of these updates; not just in DBD, but in any of the games we’ve played.
Waiting can be tedious and unnerving, coupled with the fact that we as humans are all confined within time and it’s seemingly malicious frames... drains the soul a bit, imo😔

Yeah, the new Haddonfield rework should have a Halloween theme (similar to the ambient eerie score during random scenes in the movies) as the background music that we would hear the entire match on that map, until the killer appears and their chase theme plays.
Would be amazing; the complete Halloween/Haddonfield/Myers experience whenever we’d face or play as MM Haddonfield.
...wish the devs would do more with each realm’s background music, instead of the same bgm every match, every realm😔

If legally this becomes a possibility, something similar to huntress’ legendary/ ultra rare skin/ lullaby combo; where we’d get the updated chase theme with a new outfit, mask n weapon would be great also
... that way we could enjoy both versions.

Coincidentally, today we played a unusual match on Azarov’s where only shack pallet spawned; no other pallets! Didn’t help anyone much with the Drop or Chop challenge.
...also, was trying to use Blast Mine for the stun challenge, and either not any killers were kicking gens, or another survivor would rush over to finish the gen with me, negating the opportunity😔

I couldnt learn and the way the game is set up means you make mistakes you're prevented from playing. Just wasn't fun facing 15 Level 70+ Dollmaster players in a row.
Yeah, i can only play American McGees Alice on my laptop... that’s like the extent of my PC ventures, so needless to say, I jus watch n wait until VHS graces PlayStation’s presence.

2-3 gens
not sure how much time that really is, depending on survivor repair diligence, but wasting pallets always could increase one’s time enough for more gens to get done, but it can be too risky, and inconsiderate for the other survivors to take their pallets.
using only a couple pallets... a few gens worth
