Thanks so much ^_^ I'll watch that video and try these builds! 💜

Thanks Guys

@Unicorn I find that when it comes to skillchecks the thing to remember is that you should attempt to press the button slightly earlier than the prompt. This is because it takes time for you to press the button and for the game to recognize it.
If you want to practice, try this website some Twitch fan made: http://mistersyms.com/tools/gitgud/index
@Peasant you're an Angel. Thank you 💜

Survivors, I don't want to put you in the basement. If your near a known basement, or really anywhere right now, stop Wiggling. I don't want to bring you down there, but it it's the closest hook and your trying to wiggle out I'm not losing a kill because of the bug.
Seriously, just stop Wiggling so we can carry you to a different hook.
@MisterCremaster This is confusing, considering most of us can't wiggle even if we wanted to o_o I literally had no wiggle bar for a couple games or a prompt to wiggle.

Maybe haunted grounds is bugged. I haven’t played enough to experience this. But I have cleaned dull totems and nothing for me
Okay maybe it was just that map. Thanks for the update.

@Spirez said:
Can you elaborate on what you mean by “getting hex effects”? Do you mean they look like they’re lit up but they’re not actually a hex totem? Or do you mean for example the killer has hex ruin but none of the 5 totems on the map are lit up and you can’t tell which one is the actual hex.
They're Dull, when I cleansed both I got the exposed effect. I know its not Haunted Grounds unless they changed it to where Haunted Grounds is not lit up anymore.. idk I think its just the Macmillian Estate map because it happened to me twice in two different games.

Firstly, try to avoid being the first person to get chased/hooked. If the killer truly is planning to tunnel from the start, that's the player most likely to be on the recieving end. Work on a less critical generator, hide if you hear the killer instead of starting a chase, that sort of thing. Sometimes you just get found first no matter what, but a lot of the time you can work to avoid it.
If you're being tunneled and want tools to help you, the obvious choice is stuff like Decisive + Unbreakable. Don't care about people crying about crutch perks, it's a strong combo that exists to be used. This approach makes you as "expensive" as possible to tunnel to death time-wise which buys the other survivors time.
While it can be tricky the best way to stop tunneling in its tracks is to lose the killer. Even just Iron Will alone can make this a lot more achievable. It's risky of course, and don't just crouch in a corner where the only outcomes are "lose the killer" and "go down", have an escape route in mind if the killer gets back on you if possible, even if you don't lose them this can buy you valuable distance and time if you pull it off.
If someone else is being hardcore tunneled honestly just work on gens. Same concept as someone being hard camped, sucks for them but a lot of the time the best you can do is attempt to get gens done. You can try to do stuff like bodyblock, flashlight save and so on if you want and the killer + "victim" happens to be near you during their chase, but don't chase them around the map, but even then I'd probably just stay on a gen.
I keep hearing DS and I honestly suck so bad at it v.v Idk if its because of the anticipation of trying to get away or because I just suck at hitting great skill checks. Can you give me insight on how to try and hit your DS everytime?

For perks I like BT & Kindred which I find very helpful in general for a mainly solo survivor and sometimes SWF (I play with 1 person with no mic).
BT - for obvious reasons.
Kindred - it just helps the team to coordinate and know if the killer's close. I don't think I've ever been left to die on the hook with this perk.
Iron Will - this is also good for stealth as some survivors are much louder than others. I'm looking at you Jeff and Jane!! I've managed to lose killers mid chase with this perk.
Recent scenario against a tunnelling killer:
I was playing on Hawkins Lab against a Clown. He wasn't even particularly difficult to play against but he is one of the tunneliest tunnelers to ever tunnel, my god man, he wouldn't stop chasing his target. The most tunnel vision killer I've ever faced. He kept chasing this injured survivor and I tried to help, I body blocked, threw pallets in his face and took hits but he refused to stop chasing this Jake.
And this was my BIGGEST MISTAKE. I should have been focusing on gens and because I spent so much time trying to 'help' I think I ended up majorly F-ing up the teams chance at getting out. Half the team was dead with 2 gens left, and both me and my friend were injured with no way of healing ourselves. If I had just gen rushed we more than likely could have escaped. I will not be making that mistake again!
Usually I just try to be sneaky and hope I'm not found first! But if you're getting tunneled, best advice is to just run the killer around pallets for as long as possible. Use all the pallets if you have to, as long as it keeps the killer away from the rest of the team.
Thank you so much for this 💜

@Unicorn Just to add a little more to one of Pain Reliever's points. Flashlights are a great tool to lose the killer during a chase. The key is to drop a pallet on a killer or a little early if you are a bit skittish. Then blind the killer during the break animation. Just remember that while blinding a killer disrupts their visuals/sight , it doesn't disrupt their sound/hearing.
I love flashlights, maybe I need to keep using them more. They do help alot.

Thank you ^_^ 💜 I will watch it now.

Advice on how to stop it?
You basically just run decisive strike and borrowed time. If it's a 1 shot killer who is camping, the last person on the hook will probably need deliverance or someone with DS up to save them.
If you are the one being saved, bodyblock the unhooker with your BT so you get the speedboost and prevent your teammate from getting hit.
I always run iron will as well, which is extremely helpful if the killer returns straight to the hook and you haven't been healed yet. I also use dead hard, which is another very effective perk to have right off the hook.
Tl;dr run the meta perks and get good at looping.
I think thats my weakness is not being good at hitting D-Strike and only being good at looping on certain maps v.v BUT positive news is I just bought Adam today along with Yui so I can try his deliverance perk. I will definitely take your advice into my gameplay 💜

Step 1: Work on a generator. This can be accomplished by approaching one and holding M1. Watch out for skillchecks!
Step 2: Run kindred. There's especially no excuse now that's its been buffed to help YOU and not just your teammates.
Step 3: Leave when the gates are powered.
Step 4: ??????
Step 5: Profit.
In all seriousness though, the only reason campers and tunnelers get kills is because survivors feed them. If they're wasting their time on one person (camping OR tunneling) every other person should be on a gen, and the end result should be a measly 1k. Too many times I see camping killers that should've lost the match end up with three or four kills because survivors have this "no man left behind complex." Cut your losses and leave, and don't be mad at your teammates when they decide not to feed a bad killer points and kills.
Kindred huh? Never ever considered that perk. I always ran borrowed time but I'll definitely look into this. And yeah, I try not to feed a camping Killer, but if I see someone getting tunneled I'll try to take the attention off of them but of course thats a 50/50. If I'm the one being camped/tunneled idk what to do to avoid being the Killers little b-word. I hate D-Strike because I miss it, even when I don't miss it.

I thought I was the only going through this v.v It is not fun, but I get he just came out yesterday so I'm trying to give Killers the benefit of doubt.

I'm not even going to argue with you lmao. It's overpowered and everyone who's good at the game agreed that it was. That's why it's getting nerfed
Most of the pros I watch were suprised by the balance landing rework. Most people didn't understand how that was nerfed before way more other overpowered perks but eh, I'm just a Unicorn what do I know?

The diversity and palette of different personalities for every killer/survivor. Idk who the creative director is for the characters in DBD at Behaviour but they deserve a endless neverending loop of rounds of applause. 💜

Look up on amazon African psn codes or specifically the currency from Africa or any other legit websites
Thank you so much ❤️

@Salty_Huntress said:
Most likely as you’re buying a code with US money a currency which wouldn’t work on a ps4 registered on a different country with a different currency
Sugar honey iced tea. Thank God, you've made this clear because I would have been so screwed if I bought and she couldn't use it.

Yeah you'll need to get a code for her region.
Okay. Is there a specific way to do that?

I understand that Killers don't like SWF groups, but this is exactly why I don't play Solo Survivor anymore. If I can play with a group of friends that I myself can guarantee they won't DC and screw the entire game over for the Killer and our group then I'm going to do that.

So obv you got the list on the wiki but for anyone who doesn’t know, or for those who can’t be asked to check the wiki, I’ll try and explain em all below.
Cursed - you’re affected by a hex perk; find the totem and clenase it to remove this effect.
Blindness - You can’t see auras for it’s duration.
Broken - You can’t heal to healthy.
Deep Wounds - You’re on a bleedout timer. Mend yourself, or get others to mend you, before the timer hits 0, else you’ll go down.
Endurance - You can tank an extra hit.
Exhausted - Any perks known as “exhaustion” perks (perks which give exhaustion) cannot be used. The only exception to this is Adrenaline.
Exposed - You go down in a single hit.
Haste - You move faster.
Haemorrhage - You bleed more.
Hindered - You move slower.
Madness - Skillchecks become harder, you’re easier to track, and sometimes you’ll scream, notifying the killer of your location.
Mangled - Slows down healing speeds on you by 20% (an extra 3.2 seconds)
Oblivious - You don’t hear the heartbeat, nor are you affexted by any perks which impact the heartbeat.
Vision - increases your capabilities of reading auras.
I really appreciate this!

I haven't heard of such a thing being in the PTB, but the killers' races are listed on their pages on the official wiki.
For convenience's sake:
Trapper, Billy, Myers, Bubba, Freddy, Pig, Clown and Ghostface are American.
Wraith and Hag are African.
Nurse is Anglo-American.
Doctor is African American.
Huntress is Russian.
Spirit is Japanese.
Legion is Canadian.
Plague is Ancient Babylonian.
And Demogorgon... doesn't really have a race.
Hope that helps!
Thank you!!! 💛

Bubba tips
- Use your chainsaw while either very close or right behind survivors.
- If you notice people going for a save, try to stop it. You’ll either scare the savior away or get one/both of them.
- Try to hug walls if survivors run around them but also stay far enough that you don’t become a rampaging bubba.
- Don’t be afraid to use your chainsaw at certain loops if you’re using speed add ons.
- His chainsaw speed add ons are his best add ons
- You can chainsaw through windows if a survivor is still vaulting
Here are some basic tips :)
Thank you <3
