When he's not trying to kill her, Michael enjoys some knitting time with Laurie. His favorite is to knit little Halloween pumpkins.
Michael's also a deep reader. He's currently reading 'To kill a Mockingbird';
Michael does seem like a heavy reader tbh.

Right? :D

Iβve always wanted to have a endgame chat for ps4, I know it could get toxic but I love talking about the game we just played to other players. Any thoughts.
Minus the insults and trash-talking sure. Otherwise it'd just make me not want to stick around for it. I think it'd be great for when I want to compliment a Killer or Survivor for doing good job.

Huntress sits around humming her song, while playing with small toys and trinkets she found in the fog.
Michael stalking Laurie, if not then reading a book with glasses.
Bubba sitting on a David skin chair next to an open fire, above it is Jane's butt hanging on the mantel. His feet resting on a Ace skinned rug. Reading a Dwight leather family album, while wearing Claudette's glasses. In the book has pictures of his family. He looks through the book, reminiscing each picture, with a smile on his face.
You're amazing.

I use them...when there's no Offerings left in my inventory that interest me.
They are helpful in a way, technically.
You might deny someone finding a Key and escaping after you close the Hatch.
You might deny Chest builds, y'know, people running Plunderer's Instinct & Ace In The Hole to get cool stuff.
But you will also push them to do Generators.
Ace in The Hole is a luck perk, correct? I don't play Ace at all hes the only Survivor I don't play π

It is also very entitled that killers expect solo survivors to cleanse 5 totems against nurse or spirit and talk like it is an easy thing to do :)
Stop assuming all survivors want easy matches and free escapes
I wouldn't say entitled because I hate that word on this forum but I so so so agree. I get lots of Spirits in Purple ranks solo. It is not as easy especially if you don't know that the rest of your teammates are doing gens or hanging around. I can spend half the match doing totems and if theres a Ruin (which is 8/10 of my games) then my team isn't working through it, they're all looking along with me.

You didn't ask for insight or reason, you stated straight up that you thought it was unfair to solo survivors and I posted my counterpoint then made a general remark about people being blind
if you felt I was attacking you personally, that's on you.
@FrenziedRoach Did you not read the last part of my post? I specifically said I'm looking for insight maybe go back and read?
And please don't pretend you weren't being aggressive. Idc how you justify it, those comments were completely unnecessary. Learn how to address people.
-
You've gotta relax man. The dedicated servers are still technically being tested so they're taking notes. In the meantime, I'm sorry about your friends. Dbd is a great game, sucks that they couldn't have a decent experience in their first match :/

As one who solos 99% of his survivor games, I think you have a very distorted view of what's unfair.
FFS man, I see 2 or 3 totems WITHOUT LOOKING every damn match. Are people playing blindfolded or something? How hard is it to look around?
@FrenziedRoach Why are you being so aggressive. I asked for insight for a reason, not to be attacked.. do you know what insight means? Not every person on forums is being one-sided so please stop addressing me like that. I like to discuss with respect and understanding. If you can't agree to the terms of that then please don't quote me. I also solo so I'm just speaking off of what happens with my games in Purple Ranks.
-
NOED is unfair when it comes to solo survivors. SWF is a different story, theres voice com 9 times out of 10 and they can keep track of how many totems have been cleansed.
We just need a totem tracker, let Killers and Survivors know how many dulls are left on the map. That'd possibly help a bit. (Idk if this would be balanced for SWF's, actually would like some insight when it comes to it.)
-
Thanks everyone. He decided to pick up Wraith and Bubba! All your suggestions are amazing and I appreciate it very much π

Ditto, my favorite moris are the ones that say something about the killer's character. Nurse is oddly tender in the way she murders people.
Yes! I'm glad someone else understands where I'm coming from π Sally is indeed tender and seems super sympathetic from what I read in her bio.

Yep, that's why I recommend Wraith. Finding targets and sticking to them is going to be a newbie killer's biggest challenge, Wraith's power, perks, and add-ons are all about those things.
The specific downside of Predator tightening scratch marks is that, although it makes them into a much clearer trail, it pulls them in. That little patch of scratches appearing offset on a wall or a tree can make a big difference to an experienced killer and you won't get them while using the perk.
Wraith is the only killer that has legit training wheels on their kit. You'll want to kick them off eventually, but they're great for learning the fundamentals.
Doctor's actually not a bad choice, you can find people just by wandering around in treatment mode at the start of a match, but there's more to juggle and be aware of. Once your dude gets a handle on the basics, he'll be able to play anyone he wants.
If you dont mind, I'd like to screenshot your last two posts and send it to him on Playstation? I feel like him reading these tips will help a lot.

Hm, I'm kinda scared to recommend Myers. I feel like he'd spend too much time moonwalking and stalking people xD Plus with chases I feel he'd lose his EW3 alot if he can't catch up to em. Thanks anyway though!!

As long as your friend knows that trapping the killer shack is always a good idea and putting traps in grass near pallets/gens then he'll do well as the Trapper.
Always good to help out new people. :)
Fair enough, thank you so much! π Your kindness is greatly appreciated.
-
@Jago said:
Trapper and Wraith are great starters ! Learning to use M1 and gaining the knowledge of tiles and maps will take a bit of time !
Also if your friend wants a DLC, then Leatherface is also a great idea, since the grind will be much easier thanks to BBQ. His power is pretty straight to the point and doesn't require to be a pro at low ranks.
Have fun mate.
Leatherface huh? Hmm.. Bubba does seem like a good recommendation. His power isn't too difficult to adjust too, just the positioning and keeping in mind when its safe/okay to chainsaw. I know he is a cheaper DLC in PS Store too. I'll make sure to mention this to him, thank you!!

Any one of the OG three. Billy is not as noob-friendly as the other two, but he's not extremely difficult either and he is the most powerful of the three. Wraith and Trapper are easy to learn but play very differently. I would give him a brief description of their powers, and tell him to choose whichever one appeals most to him.
Even I am afraid to attempt to play Billy, I have so much respect for Billy players because of how difficult it seems to "steer" with him during a chainsaw. I think Wraith is probably the best choice. Thank you!

Aren't you sweet? A pleasure.
His two tracking perks, Predator and Bloodhound, help in addition to his base toolkit. Predator shouldn't be used for too long, its effects can ultimately be counterproductive, but it helps make scratch marks much more coherent and easy to follow for newbies.
Bloodhound, especially with Sloppy Butcher, will make it easier to track blood. He also gets a common add-on, "The Hound", that makes blood even easier to spot. Like Predator, shouldn't be used for too long as it will inhibit development of the player's own tracking skills, but it really helps to get the basics down at first.
I try to be ^.^ π
But Predator does sound very newbie friendly especially with tracking, I did hear him mention a lot of losing sight or a survivor disappearing on him his first few games. I believe he was playing the Doctor because (whispers) I recommended him D: I should've just came here first. Lol
I'll make sure to mention the disclaimer about how it can slow down his progress when it comes to the objective of pressure though. Thank you again!
-
@Cyro said:
Trapper, he teaches new survivors that map pressure is important and also he's the most basic form of M1 killer so you can quite quickly learn how to chase and things like that.
I was afraid that trap placement would be difficult for him but we shall see. I appreciate your response ^.^
-
Because Demo is a Majestic creature, just look at that form!
-
@Xboned said:
I personally would recommend Wraith. His power is simple to use, scores lots of BP if you can land a hit after cloak, and it's easy for him to track and find survivors. He's also free.
There many killers better suited to more specific strategies, but for getting to know the basics of killer, he's the one I'd go with.
Thank you π
-
I'm on console, I go up against him all the time in Purple Ranks.
May I ask what platform you are on? Maybe PC?

Thank you and that's really great to hear. I hope they consider the suggestion's and not listen to the bombardment of hate of over it which is not that much, only 2 or 3 out of 10 people, but yeah Tiff is awesome and I hope they add both of them really now that would be a great chapter, for the Child's Play fans in the community and everyone else who just likes horror in general.
I agree! Child's Play is a huge franchise with a mega fanbase. Behaviour would make a lot of us super happy if they did, plus Chucky's laugh is needed to whip up some humor in game xD
-
I like Nurse. Its as if she's trying to put us out of our misery.
"Shh, shh.. go to sleep darling. I will not let the entity torture you anymore."
π
-
Lol, that is pretty bad xD

I'd love to see Chucky or even Tiffany in the game. I'm a huge Tiff fan π I stand with you ^.^

No, I just dont wanna see posts with complaining about NOED from people which don't wanna change their gameplay style, they just wanna sit in one place and hold m1 for the most of time.
I'm pretty sure people got this message by reading the last topic about this. I'm not saying you can't post, but by all means please don't try to maximize the negativity that already exist on this forum. Some of us love this game and want the community to get better.
Have a good night π

I'm guessing you created this for more people to come post on and argue/be jerks to each other?
Please stop posting things like this. This community will never get better.
-
@shirtlessdemi101 I agree with everything you are saying about countering noed, its true: Cleans Totems. But what I don't understand is your hypocrisy. You're claiming the OP is being nasty and disrespectful but every single post of you addressing the OP is you insulting, name-calling and belittling. Please stop, your disrespect is unnecessary, a topic is never that serious to where you have to call somebody a "clown" and talk to them like they're an idiot.
-
You're gonna run into tryhards regardless of the side you're playing on. Just practice and try to learn new strategies when it comes to certain situations.
-
Maybe because their community members like to disrespect and belittle them constantly no matter how hard they try to better the game for EVERYBODY.

Calling toxic players survivor mains literally only makes arguments more common.
They're toxic players. Period. Killers do the same #########. It doesnt mean it's because of the side they play.
Tell em' sister/brother.
Stop the toxicity!

This is why pop goes the weasel is a wonderful perk to me. But of course you have to hook a survivor to activate it so its very situational.

DCs are far, far more common on the survivor side
you're making a false equivalency
Once again, I never said they weren't more common. I said both sides do it.
Please if you're going to attempt to argue with me make sure its over something I actually said.

"but a killer will do it once in every 50 games, so its the same!"
Hey, you said it not me. The point of this post is that biased people don't think before they say things. DC'ing is a problem on both sides, pretty sure people who think logically and unbiased can attest to that.

Thank you.

Why are people so oblivious to different skill levels in this game? Hitting great skill checks is not for everyone. Just like you wouldn't want someone telling you how to play, don't do it to others.

I'll keep it incredibly simple (I'm guessing if you wanted a detailed explanation, you would have just looked it up).
Deviousness: Usually using your power. (+ bonus for killing all 4)
Hunting: Chasing people.
Brutality: Hitting people.
Sacrifice: Sacrificing people (surprised pikachu).
That's the gist of it, but there's various exceptions.
Thanks Peanits! π
