Well sure I just believe they can't crush survivor teams of equal skill level. I believe if the survivor team is good enough, they still have a fair chance to win against an incredibly good Billy or Spirit. Spirit's counterplay is quite luck based though.
I can see where you're coming from but I'm just going to agree to disagree. I've seen some CRAZY Spirit and Billy's, not only against me but on streams, YouTube, ect. There are Killers that can hold their own against highly coordinated and skilled SWF's. It all depends on their playstyle and technique. Sure they sweat but they get it done and done well.
-
I don't agree. Its obvious when a healthy Survivor is instantly downed from healthy state and theres a Huntress that she's using Iri.
Nerf, eh. She's limited to how many hatchets she can carry, also her hatchets are jukeable. Although I've ran into Huntresses that are phenomenal at aiming. I barely see iri add-on though, so I don't see why this is necessary.

But there is no killer that crushes swf survivors.
You're kind of insulting the great Killers out there that do. Me and my friends (when we do play together) have gotten CRUSHED by really good Billy's and Spirit's. Idk if its just you, but there are Killers out there very well qualified and capable of destroying SWF's. Most likely have more experience than most.

I literally crouch walked everywhere. I didn't know Perks existed and the heartbeat terrified me. Everytime I heard it I didn't know how to react or what to do lol.

Her concept is good her playstyle is m1 :(
Yeah, I understand. When I said playstyle I meant the aesthetic of it meaning the vomit and her weapon. I should've worded that better.
-
I honestly love The Plague and her overall playstyle/aesthetic. I don't think shes a boring concept at all.
-
I wonder if half of the people that complain about his add-on nerfs actually play with Freddy? I barely see him.
-
The hitboxes make it harder but I believe so.
-
Survivors: Give them a Totem Counter.
Killers: Give them better Totem Spawns.
I'd also fix hit/hurtboxes. They're horrible.

Increase how long survivors last on hook at the same time. Problem solved
This may put us in the same space that we're in right now. At that point, time on hook is increased, gen time increased, whats really changed? It wouldn't be better for Killers.

People can complain if they want, with our without a comprehensive argument to back it up. Complaining is often what leads to change, not accepting things as they are is an important step to growth and improvement.
I've never said anybody has to accept anything as it is, I don't know why you're telling me this. Making suggestions and sprouting ideas is growth and improvement. If you have an issue with me giving advice to people that just complain and get upset without giving constructive brainstorming then I don't know what to tell you. My advice is far from toxic and very healthy in all aspects, in or out of the game. Sorry, not sorry.
-
Gen time being increased I don't think will fix this problem, nor nerfing toolboxes. Increasing gen speed is only gonna make it easier for Killers to camp. What Survivors need is a second objective. Dull totems are not enough, also I feel like until people can actually come up with potential ideas to pitch that will fix these problems your complaining just looks like whining. Be productive in your arguments and complaints.

You really hate Meg huh?

I've always ran Urban Evasion, this new update has nothing to do with my choice in running it.

I agree, they need a re-work. I can't tell you how many times I get camped & tunneled down from a Killer with a Mori.

If you read my post, you will see that I never insulted the op for their gameplay. I just called him out for whining like the other countless threads and complaints about camping. There was nothing constructive to his original post at all, it was just them complaining and telling the devs to fix it because he didn’t like it. Granted I could have phrased it differently, but I was annoyed from another post that I read and ended up replying that way here. I do apologize if I offended anyone, that wasn’t my intent.
People do need to stop complaining about something they don’t like without actually trying to look at things from the opposite perspective. It is tiring to see the same stupid complaints over and over, especially when they’ve been addressed multiple times, even by devs.
I wish there was a way to force players to play both roles. I think that would get the whining down to tolerable levels.
I just want to point out that I do agree that it sucks to be camped, but it’s only part of the game. I think I only face 2 campers out of every 10 matches I play, and I’ve been playing a lot recently. You just gotta move on and hope you’re not paired up with that killer any time soon.
I appreciate that you apologized a lot of people dont 💜. All I'm saying is that your post was very informative and the first part of it was unnecessary. You gave a good perspective from a Killers point of view, but with introductions like that you will only get negative responses.
Edit: @AvisDeene (forgot to tag you)
-
I'm sorry, I just pictured an angry Nancy finger cussing you out and laughed. But no, really inner strength should be enough for her to want to rush cleansing totems, she can't get upset that other people want to play it safe to avoid NOED.
-
Mori's are so easy to pull off v.v
We should all come up with ways to make it more of a challenge to Mori a Survivor that can possibly help the devs rework them.

Does it changed your gameplay for better thanks due this perk? :D
Yes! I can strategize on how to go for a save if the Killer is proximity camping or just stay and work on a Gen if they're face camping, plus you can see your teammates and if they're going for the save so two people don't get off gens and waste time trying to save someone. You're gonna love it 💜
-
I don't see why this would be necessary and I don't even use DS.
-
Its great! I like that its a benefit to you on and off hook. You should try it, I never take it off my Dwighty-Pooh 💜

Oh look, another survivor only player complaining about camping because they weren't good enough to avoid the killer in the first place. Before you cry some more, how about you play both sides and try out killer for a bit. Once you experience 10 well coordinated groups you will be singing a new tune.
And for those asking for punishment, there already is one, your stupid teammates could keep pushing out the gens. The faster they complete the match, the less blood points and kills the killer gets.
Just because you don't like an aspect of the game doesn't make it wrong. It may not be fun for you, but not everything is supposed to be fun.
-Its not fun to be looped around the entire map and have 3 gens pop back to back
-Its not fun getting hit by pallets over and over
-Its not fun to get body blocked by three people while you're trying to hook someone
-Its not fun to be blinded by two or three people after you finish a long chase
-Its not fun for a killer to have to deal with borrowed time
-Its not fun for killers to get repeatedly flashlight clicked or t-bagged over and over
-Its not fun when a killer finally catches a tryhard and they DC because they can't handle getting hooked or killed
-its not fun for a killer to be doing a good job through out the whole match and the survivors escape with a key
-its not fun when survivors hide through out the whole match and barely try to do the gens because they're too scared to do the gens and don't want to get caught
-Its not fun when survivors dc because they don't like the map
-its not fun when survivors dc because they don't like the killer
-Its not fun when survivors suicide on hook because they're angry babies
-Its not fun when a swf on comms coordinate to repeatedly loop and locker stun the killer
-Its not fun when a killer is trying to hook someone only to find someone broke the hook
-its not fun for Trapper to find out his trap was broken
-Its not fun to play Plague because her power depends on the Survivors actions
-Its not fun to face a group of survivors that have 4 toolboxes and one or two brand new parts and power through all the gens in 5 minutes.
Stop crying like babies. You win some and you lose some. No matter what match you play, someone will end up not having fun. Just accept the death and move on to the next game.
The only thing I think the devs should do is to make sure that after you face a killer once, they shouldn't pair you up with them(or killer type) again until you are matched up with several different killers.
@AvisDeene Dude really? Your post would've been informational and great if you would have never insulted the Survivors gameplay to start it off. Please Killers, stop doing this. Not once did OP insult the Killer for being a camper so this was so unnecessary.
@StrodeWins Anyway, OP as much as I hate to say this, I don't think the Devs won't do much about it. They believe camping is a strategy and as long as they do, Killers will do it. It sucks but hey, what can we do. Just move on to the next game and HOPE the next Killer isn't a camper as well, thats all we can do at this point. Sorry you had to deal with that.
Edit: Missed a word.

You cannot abuse a perk by using it as designed.
This. These perks are designed to give Survivors a fair chance against tunneling and camping. I don't understand how Killers are complaining about Survivors trying to at least get a fair chance to play a gg and not a frustrating one because the Killer wants to tunnel/camp.
-
Not that its right to assume or DC, but I can understand why people don't want to face an Ebony Mori.
-
@Thatbrownmonster Well if no one will say it, I will. Thank for being such a great team player. You're a hero 💜

Keys don't come into play into a match until late in the match when you are either dominating the survivors and they're all basically dead OR if you're getting destroyed and losing anyway (at which point it doesn't matter that they escape through the hatch because you were losing anyway).
All this drama and theatrics over keys is ridiculous. You know what takes away more fun for multiple players and is much easier to use? Moris.
In a worst case scenario: which can be used within the first 60 seconds or less of a game: A mori or a key?
The answer to that question is the thing you should complain about before worrying about the other.
For the record, I don't care about Moris, but I'm tired of seeing people complain so much about keys but they see nothing wrong with Moris which are WAY more powerful
I agree. Mori's are way too easy to pull off. Like I said above, there should be a more difficult requirement to be able to Mori a Survivor. One hook is definitely too accessible.
Side Note: that scenario was well played.

so moris are indeed fine as well specially ebonys cause you actually worked for it you hooked that person. right?
Of course, though I will say it's way too easy to get a Mori. I still feel they need to add a little more difficulty to what it takes to Mori a Survivor.
-
I don't think its a free escape considering you technically have to work on gens to even get the hatch to appear.
-
It happens, just gotta adapt to change love. I hope you eventually change your mind and come back, I know it can be frustrating. Good luck. 💜

3 days is nothing. Insidious Bubba camping back to back is more likely to kill the game than the ability to avoid these toxic #########.
@DwightOP Yeah 3 days is nothing. Its very limited and short spanned.

Ive played both games and the avoid system is good but for dbd i don't think so. Over watch has twelve players for every match and there is only four survivors for every game and one killer meaning that the chances of getting the same killer is very unlikly, getting the same survivor is more common but still very unlikely while in over watch you are all close together and lose the same amount unlike in dbd were on player can pip. one can de-pip. one can black pip meaning in one match ranks can change a lot and if they change your going to be farther a part which means your less Likely to get each other so i don't think its necessary
Yeah the player amount per trial can also make this little harder to implement.

I never saw something like this in any game, but I know in world of warcraft you can "ignore" a player, if you press it you will never be able to read any chats or write with him unless you revert the "ignore" button on him.
Overwatch has this, thats where I got the idea from. I'm guessing you've never played Overwatch.

But what about a list where you can only add a maximum of five people? That way it would be possible to avoid certain players, but due to the small amount it would most likely not affect the game or matchmaking in general. And people would probably think through who they add to that list and not adding people to it just because they were better.
@AngryFluffy Great Idea.
-
@Mandy said:
I can't imagine that we would ever put this in the game, due to the fact people would end up just blocking players that were better than them and beat them in game. Something similar has happened in the past and I can't see that they would ever want that to be repeated.
@MandyTalk Thanks for the feedback/response. I'm just finding out that this was a thing before, I must have not had DBD when it was live.

@Sign_Spinner said:
I'm curious, why would you like to avoid playing against someone especifically?
@Sign_Spinner Its more likely when I'm playing Killer and being severely bullied or if I'm playing Survivor with a bunch of trolls that like to farm, sandbag, etc. I just rather take a limited break from them.
-
@thesuicidefox said:
I would really like this.
- You have to play with/against a player to put them on your AVOID list.
- You can have a maximum of 3 players on your AVOID list at any time.
- A player has to be on your AVOID list for at least 48 hours (2 days) before they can be removed.
- A player will stay on your AVOID list for 96 hours (4 days) before being automatically removed.
@thesuicidefox This reminds me of Overwatch's avoid player system. It removes the players on your list after 3 days but you can only have 3 players on it at a time. I really like it.
-
@FireHazard said:
If you mean a type of "ignore list" that prevents you from being paired with players you don't like... than no... that'll never happen.
I can't even say that it might, I just don't see it happening ever.
@FireHazard Not that I don't like, but Trolls and Toxics. I understand though, I've tried blocking people on Playstation to avoid getting them on my team/playing against them but it doesn't work apparently. Thanks though!
