Yeah, nerf even more good Killer Perks (Ruin) so that all we have left is Monstrous Shrine. Even less variety sounds great.
But ruin caused builds to be extremely stale. At least now we get some slightly decent variety with Corrupt and Pop, I personally still run ruin on legion and nurse.

Maybe as a paragraph?

Holy ######### a time traveler!

His hitbox is perfectly fine. It allows you to reach survivors on some places and certain loops more precisely.
I feel Scott acts like that in this specific video is because he is too spoiled from too much huntress.
-
I suppose. If billy goes live like this I will probably me mad, but may find him fun.

How can he get a 4m tr?
The sheriffs badge + the rum.

Yeah there are a ton of toxic pricks in this game. Im sorry you want to leave this game because of them, but you do you I guess.

one phrase debunks your opinion with data and video evidence: "depip squad videos"
Ah yes, videos made almost 2 years ago when (most) god loops, old DS, insta heals, Instablinds, pallet vacuum still existed sure do proof this game is inherently survivor sided.

I think a possible mori animation update for the Wraith was hinted at in one of the loading screen quotes, if im not mistaken.
peanits said it was a joke.

Yeah, maybe its a bit early to post this, but I am intrigued by it considering one of the comments in the anniversary loading screen said something about wraiths mori file being moved.

Well, it seems like a genuine interview.
"But the invitation is just that for now: An invitation. Côté didn’t indicate there’d been talks of any kind about adding Jason and other Friday the 13th content to the game."

I hope we see a return to form with normal increase x and decrease y addons instead of gimmick addons :/ Billy's new addons are really bad and the only ones worth running are brown and a few yellows. Green and up aren't worth it. I'd also like to see the devs look at what addons are the least used and spruce them up per killer... over time of course and make them more appealing. We had that with Doctor but then there are Demo, Executioner, and new Billy addons that are all pretty bad and not worth the blood points. Thoughts?
I feel that the devs are afraid of creating good add-ons. After plague most add-on sets feel extremely lackluster.
-
Im not sure, sure, he is way stronger at most loops, but he is still weak in decent window spots.
-
If the killer is undetectable, no, you cant see his aura.
If you are oblivious, yes, you can see his aura.
-
I mean, cant we get creative? PH already has another way of "hooking" survivors, why cant it be the same with chucky?

right now I'm thinking about trying to learn Huntress but the only thing stopping me is that I'm on console.
I've also tried Oni but he just doesn't feel right to me.
Does anybody have any suggestions of who I can main next

That may be so but it doesn't function as a hex totem, I should've clarified on that one. Editing original post.
So, if I understand correctly you want NOED as a hex the whole game? Hell no, that completely misses the point of the perk. NOED is supposed to provide a secondary objective to survivors (totems).
-
But... NOED is a hex? Its literally in the name.
-
I'm not sure about that. I think overheat is fine but heat should dissipate quicker.

As I said, these Hillbilly changes will happen no matter what we say. Just like with the Ruin change, we told them it was a bad idea, we wanted it to stay the same. And what happened?...nothing, new Ruin came in and nothing was said afterwards. I don't get why the Devs want us to give feedback when they don't decide 'yeah, maybe this was bad, maybe we should leave it', I mean, what are the chances Hillbilly WON'T change after this PTB?
Ok, sorry for the "gross" analogy, but what do you prefer? Not telling your couple he is being too rough and getting ######### painfully hard, or telling your couple he is being too rough and getting ######### with lube? Same with the billy changes, if you are giving no feedback dont expect not to be ######### extra rough.

Every game there's at least one survivor running one of these perks and most of the times all of them in a combo.Even when a survivor perk is nerfed,it barely makes a difference like ds,the nerf barely made a difference, its still the best survivor perk.Compared to when a killer gets nerfed like we saw recently with Billy and Leatherface.Addons completely gutted and Billy rework made him both unfun and weak. The worst part is killer addons, creating useless addons just so killers wil have something to spend their bloodpoints on,what's the point of making useless addons and sometimes even detrimental ones? Many killer ultra addon are so bad even if they we're common ones.Devs are so afraid of making a killer remotely decent lately they are all getting washed up reworks or come out that way.Until devs wont show otherwise they will remain survivor biased.
We had this thread yesterday.
-
guys this thread is to discuss who is the most balance killer, not the strongest.

I'm just gonna remind you about the Nurse nerf, and Ruin nerf, and how they basically ignored any feedback and pushed it forward.
Also there is already PTB gameplay up, and it shows that Billy get a massive nerf, and is practically worse than the pre-reworked Bubba.
Streamers like ScottJune, Otz, Aryun, etc. were pretty pissed and/or confused about this change due to the fact the only broken thing was insta-saw, which could be fixed easily by either removing Carburretors Tuning Guide, or making it so decrease charge add ons don't stack.
Because, again, most of the feedback surrounding Nurse and Ruin did not consist of actual feedback, just petitions to remove the changes.
-
That is still possible at purple ranks. But at red ranks you MUST 4k or else no adept for you.

It truly blows my mind. Their communication on why they were nerfing it, not even tge act itself, caused me to uninstall the game for like 3 months
Peanits gave good points as to why ruin needed to be changed, but you guys just laughed him off most of the time and made fun of him because he did not gave you the answers you wanted.

Full article on Ruin:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/117488/designer-notes-doctor-gatekeeper-hex-ruin
Short version:
We took a close look at the perk to identify what makes it so frustrating to play against. Three key issues were identified:
- Its punishment of new players or those who can't hit Great Skill Checks. Newer players trying to help veterans with generator repairs tend to make the situation worse rather than better.
- The passive nature of the gameplay pressure it provides means that there is a huge amount of potential with very little effort or risk on behalf of The Killer.
- Its inconsistency due to the random nature of the appearance interval of skill checks.
Oh god, how do you always manage to give the worse responses on the worst places?
-
In my opinion a simple solution would be to make it so that the heat after using the chainsaw dissipates at 10 charges per second or so, because currently its easier to make the chainsaw reach full heat because heat dissipates quicker that way.

Where are you Michel F. April when we need you the most!

Why would Bubba be nerfed? He Is balanced and good now
He was not nerfed? He can cover twice the distance he could before (if I am not mistaken) and thats without add-ons, some of bubbas add-ons look real nice.
I don't understand why they left the chains like that tho, the one that works like franklins looks nice but the other 2 are just bad.

So basically same <bad word> different day.
They're also usually the ones who call survivor mains "cry babies" because they have legit nothing substancial to add to the conversation.
If they put as much effort into providing productive feedback instead of trying to be "loud" I think people would take them more serious.
Exactly. Some people just go into the forums and say "nerf bad" without going into detail why just to expand the radius of the circlejerk. If they actually go into detail and try to make the devs understand why said nerfs are bad, maybe, just maybe they will listen.
-
Its evident a lot of killer mains are going to come crying to the forums and reddit because of this horrid nerf.
As Otz said, they should canalize that butthurt and put it into something productive, like giving feedback in the PTB feedback section.

Yeah they listen to the side I play least because they hate me and want to ruin my gaming experience.

I recently moved to Xbox from PS4 and started a fresh new account. In all this time during this recently past rift, I managed to grind up to player level 85 and completed almost all the survivor challenges and some killer challenges. Yet I was still short from reaching rift 70 by around 10.
This whole time I've been playing DBD almost exclusively because I don't have a lot of games on Xbox but still didn't come close to completing the rift. I was thinking about buying the premium early on and am so happy I decided to wait...
Yeah, dont buy the rift unless you have already completed it or you are sure you are going to complete it, otherwise you will most probably be wasting your money

It's definitely more useful in the open, but without charge reduction add-ons, things like chainsawing window vaults is exponentially more difficult.
Still, Bubba will be really good at most windowless loops

Funnily enough, all the guys on here that were saying this was a good thing and that he needed a nerf have gone very quiet. I honestly would like to ask the devs what is the thought process behind killer addons because they always seem extremely gimmicky, situational or just flat out useless
I agreed that he needed a change, but they went a bit too far on this one. They need to make it so that the heat dissipates quicker and fix those horrid add-ons.
-
The overheat is fine, but the fact that it goes down so, so slowly is just terrible.
-
Yeah I noticed the add-ons are abysmal. I will seriously lose all my hope in BHVR if they release the update as it is right now.

The only question I have. Is why? Why do killers have to relearn the game after every single patch, while survivors havent had a major meta change in years? Every major nerf expands this question, as the skill gap gets wider and wider, why are killers expected to play at a mastered level of play, while survivors who run in a straightline towards every pallet to drop it instantly, get no changes to their gameplay challenge?
What do you mean the survivors have not had a major meta change in years? that's just completely ignoring changes to infinites, god loops, various perks (sabo in specific) and the introduction of killers that completely shift the ways in which survivors have to play.
-
literally no one gave feedback for legion, no one! everyone was saying how good the changes were, I don't recall a single streamer saying they were bad changes because everyone wanted old legion gone.
-
We can still give feedback boys, even the big streamers like otz and tru3 think the changes are terrible. If BHVR just cover their ears, then they will be making a massive mistake.

It basically turns you into old bubba
Anyway
All charges are consumed when doing a chainsaw sweep
Slightly increases the chains dash duration
Slightly decreases the chainsaws maximum sweep speed
Slightly increases recharge rate
Sounds like better old bubba, but still bad anyways :(
-
What does it do now?
-
Yikes, I get why tho, considering the time you get the most heat is when you are revving your chainsaw, those add-ons would immedeatly become top tier because they would allow you to not gain as much heat and rev quicker at the same time.
-
Unrelated, but could anyone please screenshot the add-ons?
By the way, did hillbilly and bubba get their own chase themes?
-
Bruh, you can't just nerf a killer and call it a bug fix.
