Hillbilly: Rawr! *Wicks ur paws* UwU *Notices bulge* OwO whats this?
-
It should apply exhaustion instead of blindness.
Legions Feral Frenzy attacks no longer count as basic attacks so I see no problem on it.
-
Its a bug, a very rare one.
I fortunately never got to experience double pallets in 2016-2017, but killer mains from that era must be having severe PTSD each time they see one of those.
-
Online Video games are far from safe spaces. There are a lot of mean people playing them, if your friend crumbles just because of a single insult, then he definitely should not be playing online.

would kinda be a waste of time. I mean, how much corn would you be able to cut in one action? How long would it take? These kind of mechanics, like breakable walls, where you need to do something before actually doing something to stop the survivors are very hindering for killers.
I mean, its better than being borderline blind.

I personally call PH Hypotenuse Head because of a joke I saw in youtube some time ago.
-
No, you can't refund skins. That's pretty dumb.
-
It will be a matter of testing it in the PTB, but I agree, this definitely does not seem like a minor change

Because you are a beautiful person and you deserve beautiful awards in life.

You ignored the question you quoted while answering.
Lessons in dodging questions #4, 6, and the entire "answering another question section"
You really never have anything constructive to say so I'll refrain from responding to you from here on out. I'm waiting for a response from someone on the dev team anyway.
Feel free to argue with everyone else though.
What constructive criticism did you give besides ask him if he is a dev? lmao.

I believe it was posted in general.
Well, it can be that, these kind of posts go in "fan creations" if I am not mistaken
-
Maybe you posted it in the wrong section? It could be a bug as well, I have had my posts deleted in the past for no reason.

Isnt that his max speed?
Wouldnt he need to spend 2-3 tokens to get any value out of the new max speed? It all depends on his acceleration.
Ah yes, I did not take that into account. Maybe they will buff chillis and make it so acceleration is now a noticeable stat?

Oh God, it is, isn't it? (insert curse of choice here) there goes one of the last things Legion could be considered the best at...
Well, legion is still a master of stall ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Yikes, imagine mentioning bugs as downsides, if only you knew how buggy survivor was, then that's the buggiest role to play with the most downsides.
If you miss a saw, that's on you, oh no, you can't immediately M1 after not being able to get an insta down for a whole 3 seconds? Sounds completely underwhelming considering YOU FAILED AN INSTA DOWN. His "downsides" don't correlate to how strong his power are, they're basically non-existant.
You are shooting yourself in the foot saying this, just because one side is buggy it does not nullify the bugs of the other, billy does have some annoying collision bugs especially on maps like haddonfield and lerys

So you have to know how to use your power and get lucky?
Or catch a Survivor who made a bad play?
Neither are reasons to nerf him. Other than the devs catering to the lowest skill players. The ones who walks across an open area, see Billy sprinting at them, and stand still with a flashlight instead of juking. They get downed, come on here, and start to scream 'OP Billy nerf nao!'.
And BHVR is listening to those people.
Not really a matter of getting lucky, just knowing when to use your power (which is not really hard in the first place). Get close to a survivor, if he is not near a loop chainsaw him, if he is make some cheeky mindgame around the loop and either down him or break the pallet almost instantly.
Truth is billy has too little downsides for a power that grants him both good lethality and massive map pressure.

The change is good because it's going to discourage tunneling. For example if a killer knows you have a key they're going to make sure you die so you can't pick it up. If they know the item is gone that's one less incentive to tunnel. Overall a good change and the perk will still be a gimmick perk.
To me it seems like the opposite, it will encourage some killers to tunnel players so they cant pick their item up again.

@Zoomies said:

So basically; the better you are, the better Billy is? That's literally how balance should work. Your skill should determine how good you do.
Yet, in this game, if a player can be 'too good', the Killer gets nerfed. Why? Mostly to appease the Survivors who find it too hard to improve or admit they are bad.
Well, the problem here is that billy does not really require you to be really good with him, just that you know how to rev your chainsaw around the whole map and catch a survivor ina bad position.
-
1 charge per 4 seconds seems decent, especially now that he moves at 5.29 which is faster than feral frenzy.

No not outside the match, outside the actual game
No, there is no way to, why do you want to see bloodpoints outside of the game?
-
What do you mean? Like, when you have finished a match? they appear in the up right corner after a match.
-
Not really, he has a bad early game but damn he compensates with by far the best power in the game once its active.

I do as well. Except for the Hillbilly nerf. I'm still confused why they're doing it.
I mean, we have yet to see it. The overheat mechanic does not seem THAT bad.

Strawmanning is fun.
People came to the conclusion that survivors are OP by logically thinking and also by marth's experiment, we didn't need graphs for that.
Bruh the one strawmanning here is you, I never said nothing about the devs pushing anything.
-
@Valor188917 said:

So you're saying the devs have an agenda to push 20% of the playerbase over the 80%ers?
Sure bud
Logically speaking killrates mean jackshit, you'd know this if you soloQd alot.
Tons of people who will kill themselves on hook over playing against killer X.
Tons of people who will afk/DC
Challenges that counteract "normal" survivor gameplay hence ppl rushing hooks to get challenges done or disturbing crows by running around the map.
What I am saying is that people got the wrong conclusion from the graph and were using it to say "survivors opie" or "killers opie", but then when the graphs were used against them they said they were "unreliable".
-
As a Cheryl main that always equips soul guard, BT is a hundred times better because its not situational.
-
That graph was made a year ago and its unreliable, well, unreliable as long as it does not help me fulfill my agenda.

Lol he's just bully bait. Nothing strong on him.
Everything about him is done better on other killers.
He's a deathslinger with a harder to hit shot. He's got no stealth and his traps can't be anywhere near an obj and disappear quickly and take long to set up and all they give is the effect that lets you put them in a now free escape cage. Why bother.
You are not playing him correctly if you are using his cages for everything, and using his ranged attack blindly.
The notion that the only thing he is good for is bait is just wrong, if you can predict where a survivor is going its an easy down, Im all ears can help with that.

Perks are the worst added to the game yet.
Power is clunk.
Cages are free escapes now might as well just give them respawns
And he's low tier at best if not bottom tier and I paid money for something complete and hes already gotten major nerfs twice now. Worst experience with a new killer since Demigorg
I won't be putting any more money into dbd again thats for sure.
Boo hoo, another killer that does not allow you to 4k effortlessly.
-
Jokes on you, I am playing deathslinger.
Fences won't save you now!

Aren’t actions slowed when you’re asleep? Repairing a generator seems agonizingly slow lol.
I prefer being awake. It’s so hard to pinpoint where Freddy is while asleep & it’s harder to see. But I usually just stay asleep anyway because I can’t be bothered to run across the map to get to a clock. If it’s near, I’ll go for it, but otherwise nah.
Only if Freddy has add-ons, and they got nerfed pretty hard not long ago.

I dont like any of them, but by design, I have to go with Yui. Her leather boots rock.

No mither - Self Care - Inner strength - Unbreakable
Also bring a medkit with anti hemorrhagic syringe and styptic agent just in case

I want the wendigo from until dawn! Or jacket from hotline miami, I would be extremely pleased with any of the two

No, BHVR said its coming towards the end of the year, if not later.

Trash tier, its a shame my boy demo has such an awful perk
they should buff it to something like 10/15/20 seconds.
-
Lerys is still an absolute pain in the ass for me. Horrible FPS and somewhat difficult traversal makes me hate it.
The only thing I like about it is that my boy demo does decently on it, a lot of good spots to hide portals and narrow corridors to use shred.

Bruh. Its your fault for going in there

You have ONE bank right?
One business pays these employees.
That's still using resources to support this one side.
Let's say you have 20 people on the dev team.
20 people on the cosmetic team.
Just giving you an example because people Love shutting down arguments with "they're not the same" but the funding is.
You're paying the dev team let's say $150k to develop the new DLC. (projected sales are about 200-250k)
You're paying the Cosmetic team $80-120k to make cosmetics for 3 to 6 months. (projected sales are about 150k-250k)
You're using a ton of resources on the cosmetic team alone instead of funding the balance team, or the coding team.
This is just an example on how it all comes from the same bank, the same source. You're still funding the teams even though they are separate, you're spending resources.
Monetary resources?
What I am trying to say is that it does not matter how many "monetary resources" you have, it does not matter if there is no qualified manpower available for your company. You need a secondary source of income.

Theyre focusing too much into the art team then. I see more cosmetic pushes than actual balance fixes for crying out loud. I get it, theyre a business but im against the set cosmetics entirely
Uh, what are they supposed to do? tell half of their staff with no coding experience to start coding instead of modelling?

But it is not legendary, its very rare

paying for a new trend that will become the new norm if we let it. Theyre spending time and resources with this nonsense when they should be putting those resources into fixing their game.
Again, for the last ######### time, the art and game design teams are completely separate.
