when I win easily, I stop on the threshold to get hit ... it's a gesture of friendship!
and children abuse that people do that so just leave. the only people bothering are rookies and it conditions them to expect that from time to time to be faked out and adds to the already frustrating time.
If the killer goes afk for 30 seconds and everyone is in the exit area it should suck them out. it's the entity dashing their hope of being a snot rag.

I'm confused are you moving to the capital or are you a big comic book fan?
-
I have light colored eyes and by extension a lot of light gets through and I'm a night person. The flashlight blinds me it's slightly painful to the point I glance away for a moment. I will find you and you will provide the entity a feast of anguish. You will become my personal obsession

He has.

You don't watch many of the movies do you? At minimum it could be argued he could entirely disrespect breakable walls and maybe by extension pallets since he's gone through a house wall to grab someone before.
Been many great ideas for him posted here and on reddit.
-
I mean it sucks but I try to not let myself get into a position that I need to rely on the grab. If I'm gonna go back to the hook I try to stay at a distance I can injure them first and promise a hook trade with a lunge.

Thanks I needed a chuckle

The person that DCs loses all their points, item, and offering. The way I see it, if they DC for Hatch, you've already won. Not a big deal.
So thoroughly demoralized them they can't take it. Biggest win you can get.

I thought I was having a lot more trouble lately and I haven't played since todays update. I'll be chasing someone by a wall and there will be some tall obstacle where i'll look towards the back to keep the red stain behind them while going around the outside incase they try to loop it I can catch them quicker and the marks are gone for a stretch so I look around where I last saw them and they are a long ways away and I don't see the marks.

Killers play every game like they’re going against a deathsquad SWF, it is what it is.
The way you can play a killer pretty much just for the odd daily and get put against people 10+ ranks ahead of you and then play the old standby and get rookies it's just safer to go in like you mean it. Having about a minute isn't enough time to totally readjust if you're into being decent and with the history of long queues in our memory we've gotten to the point we hit ready that first time and get into something else for a minute. If you're browsing and reading something you might let the timer tick down until you can't check your addons and if I brought em I'm gonna use em.
It's hard to feel pity after the umpteenth time you spend 4 gens finding and downing someone who clearly plays more to only pick them up and be the one under attack. I tend to run M&A to get closer and unless they've piled on a gen there usually isn't a soul around. You more than a corner or two you lose more progress than it's worth to just kick it and go. I've only recently become heartless. I've become what I hated most in the game. I'm now okay with that. No hatch no watching you open the gate no pity if you can't find a good spot to self care. I've burned the rulebook. Humanity has left my soul. Only playing what I feel I can steamroll with and bland meta perks. I'll play less because boring but I'll play something else.

the four letter word for excrement is not censored there but it is here

I'm not sure it meshes with infectious fright either.

no new bugs and youre upset?

-
Never. Joined for Fred after the fact and while I was looking forward to Ghosty it was partly because I enjoyed the movies and liked having another Wes Craven killer not so much what the teaser offered. Poor Carl.
-
I don't use it much but I do like it. It adds a lot of tension when survivors are starting to breathe easy but it's only troublesome when people don't do bones.
If you see bones you should break the bones.
-
I'd say it depends on how long you want to stall. Sometimes I'll use ruin as an early distraction so I can get some steam going knowing I'm not going to rely on it for continued regression. I like it forcing some into other spots
So much in this game comes down to it depends.

I'm hung up on the wrong thing here but you don't care what people say you just want to see what they say.
I do not think that means what you think it means.
-
Currently he seems to be the most fun alongside Trapper. SNAP AHHH is SOOOOO satisfying. Like old school football I play both sides so hopefully I see you scaring the bejeebers out us soon! Got to represent the licensed bros proper and play when you're warmed up!
-
Next time it happens I'm telling myself I'll remember to save the instant replay and can provide everything possible. I don't like to only do part of a job. I've been saving more of them so I am more used to it so it becomes a reflex instead of an afterthought.
-
I find him to be all about the situational snowball. You charge up to 99 T2 and don't pop T3 until you think you can down at least a couple of them. I find the M&A on Mikey is essential the way I play. Get stalk early when I can but go for the sneaky hit and stalk some as they run until I get a couple on a gen on healing. Before this I would sometimes run out of stalkable prey if I offed someone I didn't fully deplete.
I got into this game for Freddy and I'd like to add he loses mobility as gens complete but with fire it up there's compensation. Stalky boys and other one hitters are the only killers that can actually cause some fear instead of annoyance. I still love jump scare Myers on either end.
Just my two cents and a wooden nickel
-
It can be tough for the killer but I try to prioritize the easier to guard gens and try to remember the spots where you can walk around on the roof. Someone relies heavily on the better loops I try to catch them a little further away and they'll get priority when I have a choice of who to follow. Seems to work for me a fair amount of the time.
-
It's just the good old unable to vault or drop a pallet while in a chase once in awhile. It's usually the end of the game for me anyway. I have a habit of not being caught until then when it's either risk being hooked and not saved or just let someone else bite it and have less options to get the gate open and people safe. The trouble has been I only play with a friend and we play late for him so it's bug report and quit early or ignore it and accept I'm just cursed.
Thank you for the reply.
Side note it doesn't seem to matter the survivor, perks or map and if my limited understanding is close I'd think its the difference of where each side thinks I am. My guess doesn't really hold much water though because it'll happen even if I've been standing there a few moments and I'm trying to drop the pallet when someone else has just run through it. I guess there are still some issues with latency and hit registration. I saw a Leon on Midwich step in a trap against a wall on the opposite side of the hallway when I used it to block the bottom of the steps. I should have saved the replay . . .
thanks again
-
Most of the time it is easy anymore because people don't know what they're doing. It isn't that you are doing great it's that survivors have gone and turned their brain off. More often than not I see a killer quite reasonably taking advantage of a gifted easy hit or down that I see big brain plays.
If you play against 3 competent survivors and a derp you'll likely down the derp first. Then the number of them that don't follow you for a heal is frustrating. The hook trading with time left on the meter at 4-5 gens makes no sense. Yeah you got me down and went down in the process and quicker than I can complain im hit again.
smooth brain survivors make the killers life easy
-
I'd love to bring them but have people target you because of the key, even a green one since the model is the same, and you eventually stop. They aren't useful during the trial. I'm not sure the few times I've found a key I managed to find the hatch before death.

Why can't they add the mimicking mechanic then? Imagine a killer that can turn into other survivors.
someplace along the way they said it wasn't going to happen
-
I've played super hard skillcheck doc and didn't get one explosion more than once. It's only tough for n00bs
-
The thing is out because he's a mimic and that is wisely off limits. Jason will have to claw his way from the depths of hell to get in. Chucky would strain believability even for this game.
-
I wouldn't object but other than being a super tough stalking killer what can he do?
-
It'll be here awhile. Seems many hate-play the game. They have a ton of horror licenses and more all the time. The nearest game like it I could stand is at about 1/10th of 1% the player count at best. The only reason I'm on the forums is I got bored a good while back waiting for matches.
-
save cake for a build you feel good about. spend the points wisely and try to not hit cap and lose points.
-
I can be very critical of the camp tunnel slug dilemma and even I say once the gates are open all bets are off. Secure your meatbag to your hearts content.

we have to record and submit video to catch cheaters. This is the only game where I've heard of that. It's sad as the state of trapper

takes time to T3

yes just be inconsiderate so long as you laughed

2 minutes for a 1st hook to die and 80 second solo unmodified gen repair time.

Or they can NOT be a selfish jerk and NOT DC.
Just sayin'. Anyone who DCs is the villain, not some sort of warrior fighting the good fight.
Suck it up, fight that Killer/Perk/Map you don't like like a big boy, and DO. NOT. DISCONNECT!
Many people think it is selfish to camp and tunnel before even one gen is done. If the killer can be selfish and uncaring about the experience others are having why can't survivors? Get over your double standard.

I seem to be getting errors with pulling pallets down a lot lately. I’ll be standing right next to them in the area where I can push the to pull them down, and it just doesn’t work. I’ve checked afterward when I thought about it and none of the killers were running the perk (Dragon’s Grip I think?) that holds them in place.
You aren't alone. That can happen for vaults as well. It's not a new problem but it comes in bunches. Several seconds of hoping it will work hitting the button progressively harder and faster with the prompt on screen and nobody blocking. Then you get camped at 5 gens . . .
Great entity screwed me then killer screws me. Maybe a flash of hope when someone unhooks with killer approaching but they want to tunnel me and I don't have borrowed time to help. Enough to make a person not want to play

Open source platform. Someone will convert some drivers for it for windows if they aren't provided. It'd all be above board if the windows is legit.

I play on console, so the lag gets to me. Plus, playing too many video games just sucks out motivation for me to do art.
So my plan does seem dumb, but I can't have over a million unless they gift out BP, so... what else is there to do?
invest in cakes while upping your game so you can get a greater return on the investment in cake

Myers is the only licensed killer I want to spend money on just for the peekaboo build. I’m just holding off because I am pretty sure they’re going rework him and probably need his add ons, so I’d like we see what happens to him first.
I just hope they don’t destroy his peekaboo aspect, it’s the scariest thing we can face as survivors.
That build and the terror in survivors eyes aren't something you want to miss out on. Most of the time you can actually hear them screaming run away just like in Monty Python and the Holy Grail with the Rabbit of Caerbannog.

Fair enough. Sometimes that's all the dumb people I can withstand as well.
