I'm a survivor main and.... no. This perk is already insanely good and doesn't need a buff. it already gives you back half of your charges (including any that add ons provide) and is enough to do a full gen with commodius+wirespool+swivelhead

Oh no, toolboxes are a threat again? That sucks.

Then again, with Hex Undying my Ruin is staying up all game, so I guess I'll just regress your gen back into oblivion.

We actually got some pretty legit perks in this chapter. I haven't even played Felix yet, but I wanna try out his anti-Thana perk (whatever it's called).

  • TBH I don't get your joke here. That's a shroud, right?

Can we can some insight on why the debris animations when breaking a pallet/breakable wall are rendered in 30fps (if not lower)? What year is it, you guys? Why is this acceptable?

I'm seeing it run pretty smoothly on PC.

And I gotta say... it looks pretty sweet. There's lots of nice little graphical touches with this overhaul. I've been seeing mixed reviews on how well it's optimized on consoles, but on PC at least it seems to have actually bumped my FPS up a bit.

  • I mean, all they did is change where it aims. Just shine your light at a wall to get an idea of where your new reticle is.

You must unlearn what you have learned, my young padawan.

I had a game the other day playing as Trapper with the Honing Stone Add-on on Torment Creek. I trapped a bunch of pallets and started a chase, swung my weapon only twice the whole game and got a 4 man slug while hooking the first Survivor because the remaining three almost simultaneously stepped into traps that put them in dying state on escape. Me and the only other PC player were laughing in disbelief that it even happened in the post game chat.

I had a game against Trapper on Lery's about a year ago. I got chased for 3 gens then caught and hooked in the corner. The Trapper then set up 3 traps in the middle of the hallway around me that I remember thinking were incredibly optimistic - until my teammates walked into all 3 one-by-one over the course of about 10 seconds. They didn't run into those traps, mind you, they walked into them. In Lerys. Every time the trapper walked up to down one of them he turned to me and nodded knowingly. I nodded back.

The blight players seem to be getting better. they land hits on some pretty sharp turns too.

i dont think people can claim that hes too weak now >_>

My God... it's almost like higher skill level killers take more than a single day to figure out. Imagine how Blight will be playing... tomorrow! (OoOoOoOoOoOoh!)

Yeah, since you can rotate mid-Rush and turn just a tiny bit when you lunge you can get up to 90 degree turns with your power if you anticipate a survivors movements even without turning addons. I haven't even tried the turning addons yet because I played his first dozen matches with base-kit. They look like they're going to be his best though.

Ok, here are some basic counters to things people find anoying or uncounterable, hope this helps someone.

    Perks:

    • NOED: Do totems, help yourself with Small Game if you're having that much trouble with this perk, if it pops, just leave, don't play hero unless you don't care if you die in the process (I play hero all the time, hehehe)
    • PGTW: Repressed Alliance, you can't repair the gen for 30 seconds but the killer can't kick it either and get the progress down.

    Killers:

    • Spirit: Fixated, as soon as she phases walk TOWARDS her, she'll lose you 9/10 times.
    • Freddy: Fixated, if he teleports to your gen, Fixate into cover, don't run
    • Trapper: Small Game (hope it gets a buff to see auras of abjects detected someday) can help you detect traps
    • Bubba: Keep running, they have the "mental glitch" of starting the chainsaw close to a pallet cause they know you're dropping it (I'll share a vid of how to do so as a comment)
    • Legion: Learn to 360, when in sprint, cause of his speed, it's easier to dodge
    • Huntress: Crouch when she throws the Axe, it works more if there's a structure between you both. Don't run in a straight line.
    • Plague: CLEANSE, if she grabs corrupt HIDE, those are long but easy games if you do this
    • Myers: There's no counter, you're doomed (nah, he's my nemesis, I always die to him, I can't give advice against him). Spine Chill maybe? I say "maybe" cause once he changes tiers it's practically a wasted perk
    • Ghost Face: Spine Chill
    • Pig: Spine Chill
    • Billie: He's dead now, but I'd say SPLIT, don't let him get multiple downs by staying close to each other
    • Pyramid Head: Crouch, if you crouch through his marks it doesn't affect you. NEVER run in a straight line.

Share any tip you'd like others to know, lets help each other.

So based on this post your survival build is Spine chill, small game, repressed alliance, and fixated? Kind of a weird build, TBH.

Nah, kidding. You do you, beratnas.

I see that this thread has already devolved into people whinging about Deathslinger. That's nice. He's not even that good, folks! I mean, sure, he can catch you kinda quickly if you're out of position or a complete potato, but half the time he shoots you he can't even get a hit off it. Then even if he catches you he's gotta slow-walk his way across the map to defend gens. Do some cardio, Slinger! Your movement speed is embarrassing!

  • I was playing as Freddy, and for the entire match I had been breaking a David's brain with faked gen-teleports: Start to teleport, make blood pour out of the gen, cancel out at the last second. The David runs away - looking behind him - and runs headfirst into my Freddy, arms wide and ready to give him a hug with my knife hand. I think I may have pulled the same silly trick on this David 4-5 times in the match. I was seriously just letting him escape to see if he would ever adapt to my fakeouts.

Late in the match I'm chasing an injured Nea towards the killer shack, and I can see that she's just barely going to reach the pallet. But who do I see working on a gen in the shack? Dopey David. I immediately start a fake teleport, and I think I may have just completely shorted out this guy's mind. He gets off the gen, walks over to the door, and slams the pallet in our faces. He sandbags the Nea hard enough that I get a free down and clinch the match.

Thank you, Dopey David. You're the reason I'm a killer main.

  • You can see it when the game starts?

You can see it during the post game chat?

The survivors can see it all game?

    It helps support the devs?

It looks cool and makes you feel happy?

Was hard to tell when you mentioned OG Freddy. It seemed like you were joking.

Being hyped for OG Freddy was more about having been a die-hard Nightmare on Elm Street fanatic than anything else. Old school Freddy was pretty fun to play, but he admittedly came with a laundry list of weaknesses.

  • Nah man, it's all heartfelt.

I'm a little fed up with people ragging on a higher-skill cap killer on LITERALLY his first day. It takes time for us to figure this stuff out. We all need to be a little more patient.

That said I've had nothing but fun with Blight, even when I lost matches. He's clearly not as weak as people say - even if you don't use his power at all he's still a 4.6 m/s killer. You can get boink-boink hits at more places than you might think, and it just feels oh-so-satisfying to hit someone after boinking off of 4 walls first. He doesn't have an Oni-like flick but he can rotate up to 90 degrees before lunging, so anticipating your opponents movements can get you some down-low DIRTY hits. Like Legion (and Billy and Huntress and Bubba and... most killers) using his power is not always APPROPRIATE, so the initial hurdle is to figure out where using his power is appropriate and where it's not. This... takes... time. So let's all cool down with the hate.

  • @MadLordJack said:

I'm gonna say it: Blight might be one of my favourite killers. Easily in my top 3.

Amen. The first time I ricocheted off of 4 walls and then threw a syringe into a car's radiator I knew it was love. This was the first killer I've been truly hyped for since OG Freddy. I foresee myself boink-boink-smacking survivors for a good long while to come.

He's not even as difficult as people have been saying, tbh. He just requires... patience.

  • @GreyWolfofNorth said:

The killer holding the hatch hostage.

Like let's say your the last one alive killer finds the hatch first and will close it the minute you get close but won't close it till you come and find it. What's the counter play here.

Doing a gen by yourself 1v1 is almost suicide. You could try and sneak up to the hatch sure but if he's spinning around looking for ya your running ain't gonna outspeed his click.

Curious on your thoughts boys and girls of the fog.

    Edit: Grammar Correction

Your mistake here is thinking that the killer is holding the game hostage. That Piggy just wants her snoot booped, and will move aside and let you escape the moment you do it.

    Boop the snoot!

    BOOP IT!

  • I play a lot of Legion too. I love her/him (they? shkler?), but I have to say that the comparisons between these two killers are a bit unfair. They both move fast, but while Legion can injure survivors at any loop the Blight can down survivors at speed when played well.

I'm not saying EVERY killer has to be hard to play. There are plenty of easy-to-learn killers that I adore (Trapper, Wraith, Legion, Freddy, Doc, Bubba). I'm just saying don't give up on a killer like Blight after less than a day just because he's tricky. He's loads of fun and getting a hit after doing a tricky series of bounces feels just as satisfying as getting a cross-map chainsaw as the Billy - or a slick hatchet throw as Huntress.

My main thing is this, I had bbq, I did in fact ignore the person who popped the en because there was someone on the gen upstairs. Could I have played it better? Sure. Doesn't disprove my point on how fast gens can fly.

In my experience the two upstairs gens in Hawkins are just not worth defending (most of the time). Giving them up sucks, but it also dramatically decreases the size of the map that you need to patrol. That's just my opinion though.

Oh, I should also note that you can totally stalk survivors through the glass. It seemed like you tried it and gave up, but it is very much a thing that you can do.

  • @ScottJund said:

You took two minutes to hit someone and then spent 30 seconds draining your power running away from the entire team to go pop a gen. What did you think was gonna happen while you ignored everyone?

I have to agree with Scott here. Those survivors completed 2 gens right in your in your face while you were in EW3, but then you ran AWAY from them to go pop the upstairs gen. So you lost your EW3, but then you lost the gen anyways stalking the survivor who completed it right in your face. Later on in the match you popped EW3 and then spent the first 45 seconds of it standing on top of a slug waiting out her DS. I'm not going to say that you played terribly; you didn't. But you also made some bad decisions regarding time management that cost you dearly.

Sad to say, but gens can be completed in under 5 min if you don't keep pressuring survivors off them. Those survivors did a great job splitting up and slamming out gens (give them some credit), and you just didn't do enough to pull them away. I'd have to say that you need some perks to make up for Myers' early-game weakness. Corrupt Intervention is the go-to if you have it, but I prefer Discordance. Also, you might want to try Infectious Fright to get the most efficient use out of your power. I know every Myers seems to be using it these days, but, well, there's a reason for that.

  • @batax90 said:

i paid for blight finilly i will probably never play him again not able to turn when you are in a rush is bad. I hope the perk will be good on the killer i like to play i really want dragon grip to work well on freddy. Im dissapointed i paid for a single perk in general

You can turn while you're in a Rush. You don't even need addons. You just can't turn very much because if you could you'd be a M1 killer with a movement speed of 9.2 m/s, which... wouldn't exactly be fair.

I love Freddy too, but if we're being honest here - one killer main to another - Freddy is just silly easy to learn and play. Blight takes some practice, and I can't even tell you how much because it's still day 1 and we're ALL still figuring him out. Maybe give your boy Blight more than one game?

  • @Pricefield said:

So, all day I've been hearing people say 'Just wait for people to master him, then we can see how good he is' or 'With x addon, eh can be good!'

The issue lies in WHY you would spend time learning him. Obviously many people (including myself) play to have fun and not just optimal, but his power is just so janky and unrewarding for using it. His M1s aren't basic attacks so it doesn't work qith insta down perks, indoor maps are a nightmare for him and other things I wont go into since this isnt about his power being eh

I fully believe he has an 'infinite' skill ceiling like Nurse, but the issue is even if you do master him, his power is underwhelming that is it even worth getting past all the issues to land an M1 attack?

And no, if you have to use addons to make him playable (looking at you ghostface) he is a bad killer. I REALLY hope I'm wrong and people find out he is decent, but the time it takes to learn him honestly looks like it could be spent with another killer with much better results

I'm not calling him bad killer, its been less than 24 damn hours, but his power just doesnt seem rewarding to spend to long to learn

I've been playing without addons all day and winning most of my matches at rank 1. The reason you would spend time learning how to use him is because he is Fun. As. All. Heck.

It is IMMENSELY satisfying bouncing off of 4 different walls to hit someone at a loop they thought was safe. Even if you don't get the hit boinking your way around the map is just a goofy good time.

  • DBD is competitive because people don't like losing. The end.

Also, every time I play chill I get t-bagged, which makes me feel less chill.

I saw this one guy complain saying that survivors are way more op than killer because the majority of good killer perks are locked behind paywalls whereas all good survivor perks are base game.

DS, Dead Hard, UnbreakaBill? Just to name a few?

It does make me LOL whenever someone complains that I'm playing a Pay 2 Win killer. Do they think this is CoD or something?

They'll only ever have a point if the Devs drop a DLC shotgun for Legion. I'd still buy it though. You know... to support the devs.

So after have 700+ hours as survivor, I decided to play killer, I am Rank 18 but I am slowly getting higher up and I will probably main survivor 60% of the time and killer 40%.

I get this adrenaline rush while playing Ghostface and my eyes light up and my heart starts racing.

I run BBQ, PGTW, I'm All Ears, and Sloppy Butcher. The reason for Sloppy cuz I don't have Brutal Strength, wish me luck.

Welcome to the Dark Side, my young apprentice. Soon we will rule the galaxy!

Nah, seriously though, most of us start off as survivor mains, but playing killer is where the meat of the game is. It's more exciting because you don't have any off time where you're just holding M1 on a gen. You're playing at 100% for the entire match. It's more emotional because you're punished more severely for mistakes, but outplaying people feels way more satisfying.

Gotta go get the new killer, too.

I'm not a fan of Monto's loud, in-your-face attitude, but he's a legit player. I've gone against him a few times as killer and he's friggin impossible to catch.

I've played about an hour of Blight now and while he's not a top tier killer he is Fun. As. Heck.

I'm laughing my head off at people calling him a 'pinball killer' like it's some sort of insult. I guess they can go back to their Forever Freddy builds now. I'm going to be busy boinking off walls for a good long while.

With the recent updates, I feel that Devs are finally listening to Killers about how to make it more even. However, just like Rise of Skywalker... Instead of listening to people who know what they are talking about, the Devs decided to listen to all the whiney brats that are for some reason still complaining that dead by is survivor sided. The new argument being, "oh you have to pay to get any good perks as killer".... Likes seriously? Just save up shards, buy the character or don't... I don't care... But don't complain if your not willing to support the Devs... How do you think they earn their money?

Long story short... Stop being childish and learn to get better instead of saying how the game's survivor sided especially with these new perks...

  • @bjorksnas said:

While using his power if there is ANYTHING between you and the survivor you are almost gaurenteed to not be able to turn enough to hit them. This was one of the main issues in the ptb aside from wonky collision but has not been addressed properly, increased the lunge speed helps but its still near impossible to hit a survivor if they have anything nearby. Just change his power to be a regular lunge

Agreed. I think he just needs a little flick like Oni. With proper reactions I've been able to turn ~90 degrees to hit a survivor, but I'm not sure that's enough with the way survivors are already dodging him.

Then again, it's still day 1 and he's a high skill level killer. Maybe we all just need time to git gud.

He's okay but to be honest his power is only viable to traverse around the map but that's it, it is kinda boring but if you don't have any perks to loop then he is in a lot of trouble

I'm still leveling him up, so I'm just using what slowdown perks I've been able to scrape together so far.

There's definitely a lot of builds that I want to try out on him. Brutal Strength/Enduring for shattering loops, Dark Devotion/Tinkerer for being a sneaky bounce-meister. I wonder if you can get grabs in your power like Legion does? That would be VERY funny IMO.

  • Sorry you had a rough weekend. For what it's worth, matchmaking is goofy for everyone. All weekend I was facing a mix of survivors that ranged from rank 1-10. I was playing killer at rank 1, and I want my opponents to be at a similar skill level.

Keep in mind that you go against tougher teams when not playing during peak hours (early to late evening) because there are less players available to match you with. You also likely went against some SWF groups that were playing together despite being at very different ranks.

This may seem like unwanted advice coming from a player who's already rank 1, but it's OKAY to go against teams who have way more experience than you. If you know you're probably going to lose beforehand, you can learn a lot from them and still have fun (provided they're not being toxic). You're not going to improve your skills by just playing the same rank 30 potatoes over and over again.

After 5 threads talking how underwhelming and frustrating it is to play him... I've played about 7 matches with him just now, managed Adept with 0 addons at R1 and now been messing around with all of his NEW REWORKED addons since PTB just to see their viability one by one. Sure, people don't know how to deal with him yet but neither do people really know how to play him that well either... sort of the point of day 1 of a new chapter.

Things I've noticed that many folks seem to not understand or just choose to overlook:

    1) Mobility around the map with him is extremely strong and honestly allows you to patrol certain generator paths that even Hillbilly wouldnt be able to do just because you can bounce - slide strafe like a full meter around it then continue on your path. This often results in free Lethal Rush hits that IS NOT the equivalent of hillbilly cross map chainsaws (but those were mostly luck based anyway) due to having much more control on avenue of approach and even bouncing to the window they want to vault and smacking them.

    2) It is fairly easy to land lethal rushes mid chase if you AREN'T trying to end loops with it immediately but making use of transition time that survivors have to make. If I had to state a weakness then a series of connecting pallet loops and windows like on Ormond or Hawkins would be... but there are plenty of killers who aren't have trouble with those maps too (Honestly a map balance issue that should be addressed rather than various killers).

The semi short lunge and 60~ degree (It definitely doesn't feel like 90 degrees even if I swing my mouse hard) max turn radius is the only clunky feeling part about it but if they gave the ability for full 180s he would be unloopable in a majority of the map. Zone the survivor onto the far side of a pallet loop, kick the pallet and you WILL usually get a lethal rush hit before they make it to the next area, effectively creating dead zones.

For this reason, asking for an instant down on Lethal Rush (except maybe some condition based pink addon) is bananas and just announcing outloud that you probably shouldn't be discussing game balance. Certain jungle gyms especially on new Yamaoka Estate (PS map is much brighter now and I love it) may be hard to navigate but still managabe.

    3) Low perspective for a killer who doesn't fully seem that hard to spot like Hag may be a minor downside - you're still patrolling at breakneck speeds to cut people off who leave generators early. I would say that his ability sort of forcing you to keep looking in certain directions makes it much harder to play against Spine Chill but I'll be up for trying him out with M&A more often.

    4) I have almost not noticed a moment where I was screaming in my head "I really wish I had my power back right now..." because unlike Ghostface's base cooldown of 30s - even without addons the cooldown and charge replacement time is completely reasonable. The stun is definitely a downside but it's nothing nearly as stifling as playing nurse and missing double blink strikes due to Dead hard. To me he feels like a Single Blink Nurse with higher base mobility and even an ability tied for exerting map pressure (that has less of a drawback stun in exchange for not keeping everyone constantly hurt Like Legion.

    ----------

I will reiterate that my experience on him is limited so far on day 1 and he is by no means an "OVERPOWERED OMGEL" tier given he doesn't offer tracking, 1 hit down lethality or stealth (and that you should be thinking when it is appropriate to M2 during chases... go figure) but his skill floor is not nearly as unobtainable to play at a reasonable level to 3~4k level as he is now. If I had a single complaint about his Lethal rush is that it should completely count as a Basic Attack for applying effects Sloppy, Surge and other effects because the STBFL playstyle seen on Doctor and Demogorgon just doesn't appeal to me personally and limits build options if that is "optimal".

I just finished my first 3 matches and he is A BLAST. If he were to get a flick like Oni he would be a real presence.

My last match was on Midwich. It was brutal. Anytime anyone ran into a hallway they died.

  • I just played my first hour of Blight and he is one of the most enjoyable killers I've played in a long while. Getting tricky bounces feels just as satisfying as getting tricky slinger/huntress shots. This might be the first killer since OG Doctor that I take the time to prestige.

It doesn't even matter if he's not particularly strong. Not every killer has to be S tier to be playable. I still play a lot of Trapper, Wraith, and Legion even though they're weaker killers. It just makes it all the more satisfying to win matches with them.

Blight's power is just straight-up goofy fun.

Folks: it's still day 1, and Blight seems like a much higher skill-level killer than BHVR's standard fare M1 menagerie. Let's all take some deep breaths and wait a couple weeks to see how we all develop his skills.

How can you release something so unfun to play as to live. Should have taken feedback from ptb for once.

And they want 8€ for this chapter without even a new map lmao.

I haven't downloaded him yet, but I'm super excited to try him. I wouldn't get too judgemental about his ability just yet; it's still day one and Blight's ability seems really hard to use and will take a lot more skill than other killers.

I was watching PTB matches from streameers like Tofu. They all flubbed their early games, but they seemed to figure him out by the time the PTB ended

I think it's the thought that if PC is having issues then they'll actually fix fps issues that console has been hurting from for so long.

The devs don't fix anything instantly, but I've seen them consistently improve upon this game over the past 4 years. Those of you who picked up this game at launch will know exactly what I mean.

If anything, the reason they take so long to fix any individual issue (and console FPS seems like an especially thorny one) is that they're TOO ambitious with their rollouts. Just over the past month we've seen MMR, crossplay, a major graphics overhaul, AND a new chapter.

I'd actually like to see them take a few months off of making new content and hammering away at the myriad bugs atill in this game.

  • It's actually not all that surprising. It's happened to me before, and I regularly get both black pip 4Ks and 1K games where I pip.

The game's current emblem system for determining rank is only marginally connected to the amount of BP you earn. Getting a 'Brutal Killer' doesn't mean the match was a draw, it just means you didn't 'perform' enough to rank up.

This might also depend on which killer you were playing. Certain killers (like Freddy, Doc, and Legion) are basically machines for producing BP, but that doesnmean they'll do as well with emblems.

EDIT: I'm guessing you were playing Blight? I haven't downloaded him yet, but if he's anything like Legion he's gonna be a BP machine.

  • Wow. I'm seeing a lot of console players here that are far too pleased that PC performance took a hit. You know most of us were rooting for you guys, right?

I haven't downloaded the new chapter yet, so I'll have to see what it looks like later. I was already seeing some FPS drops after crossplay was introduced, to the point where I had to drop my graphics settings from High to Low. Hopefully things are still running smoothly for me.

  • Nancy - the more terrified version of Claudette. Likes to play stealthy and immersed, but finds it a lot harder to pull off then Claudette because you usually find her wearing a bright white shirt. Has a bad habit of hiding in lockers and hyperventilating whenever the killer gets close.

  • Ash - the class clown. Full of pithy quips but plays kinda goofy, like you're not sure whether he's just bad at the game or more focused on memeing than survival. You loved him in those movies, but here you kind of wish he would just shut up already.

I've never done this in the past, but nowadays I'm starting to realize that sometimes, skipping a lobby that's potentially unhealthy, may save you some headaches.

I'd want to know what are your reasons for skipping them.

Me, for example, I never skip more than 1 lobby in a row, because I don't want to be waiting a long time until I play a game.

So some of my reasons are:

    • 2 or more toolboxes/flashlights
    • Steam profiles of clearly egocentric/cocky/disrespectful survivors

    What are your reasons?

    Keys. And then more keys.

I don't always drop a lobby when there's a key. Sometimes I bring a mori specifically for the keymeister. Most of the time I just play around it. But it changes the way you approach a match and sometimes I just can't be bothered.

Oh, and if you bring a key AND a map offering I'm hard-quitting the game and leaving you in loading screen perdition. Have fun waiting for your next lobby, you boosted son of a [censored].

Best rank color is purple rank, red ranks is just there in case you like tryharding vs tryharders

But I DO like tryharding vs tryhards!

    Ahem.

Give red ranks killer a go. It's not as bad as you might think. Sweaty SWF teams do exist, but they're by far the minority. At rank 1 on PC I only run into them 5-10% of the time, and they're usually not as unbeatable as people claim. Things have gotten even easier since crossplay. I'm not s******g on console players - I've gone against some really good ones. It's just that the influx of so many more survivors, plus the busted ranking system, means that I'm cakewalking through a lot of my matches these days.

  • I'd recommend Doc next. He's a blast to play (no pun intended) and he comes with Monitor and Abuse, which is a great perk.

Oni is also really fun (but harder to use), and his perk nemesis can elevate Daddy Myers' obsession perks to God status.

I don't particularly enjoy playing Plague, but clearly a lot of other people do. Maybe you're one of them? And her perks are great. Dark Devotion is a filthy good time on your M1 killers, and Corrupt Intervention is often overlooked for stopping gen rush and is God-like on setup killers like lil' miss Hag.

  • Make Your Choice works even better for this purpose since it becomes active when the survivor is unhooked and isn't deactivated when you 'use' it. I've found that the Doctor's 60 second static blast cooldown is also useful for gauging time in-match.

The hatch is a bad mechanic and removing it along with keys and moris will fix a lot of issues as explained in Space Coconut's Video:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUmthuTQEtI&ab_channel=SpaceCoconut

Also stop running Corrupt Intervention on Hag, it's pointless.

It will also prevent survivors potentially robbing the Killer off their 4k

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1I0w0vUTIQA&ab_channel=SpaceCoconut

What's with this weird pivot to Corrupt Intervention on Hag?

As someone who plays a lot of Hag (I don't 'main' any killer, but if I did it would be her), I'd say Corrupt is a great perk on her. I'm only a recent convert to the Corrupt bandwagon, but I've been seeing pretty clearly that the early game benefits you get pay out dividends for the entirety of the match.

You wanna know what perk is actually useless on Hag that a lot of people love to use? STBFL. I've never once gotten the value out of it that other killer mains say you're supposed to.

So as you all may know, this forum largely consists of the same exact topics. So to reduce the clutter, which hot topic do you wish would stop popping up on this forum and just be resolved. If you feel like it you can say how it is resolved

Edit: Please do specify if you don’t like the topic or if you just want it to be solved and implemented for topics that apply

The two topics I hate the most are:

"Blah blah Spirit blah blah rage!"

"Blah blah DS blah blah blah!"

Hag is the worst killer to go against as survivor and I get sick every time I go against her. Not only can she cancel a chase in a click of a button with her traps which is the ONLY thing survivors can really do in this game if being chased by the killer. Not only can she do that she is jumpscaretopia which is the most annoying thing when playing an online game. Because when playing single player you can just jump, and then pause, and then laugh. But no, on here the thing jump scares you, it turns your ######### camera, and then she pops out and smacks your ass, and then your day is ruined. I just wanna play a fun game with my friends but I can’t have that when I want to rip my eyes out every time I see that cabbage. It wouldn’t even be that hard to delete her, keep the perks and just turn devour into a killer neutral perk like Freddy’s were on the switch for a while

“But she’s fun to play as” you say but I don’t care because I don’t want this game to be fun on one side and garbage on the other. This game should be fun for both sides but it can’t because we have stuff like Hag and Spirit and Pyramid Head and moris and keys and fast gens and Noed and adrenaline and all the stuff that makes the community so angry at this game but keep playing it because there’s nothing else like this game because the idea is cool but the execution is garbage and the devs can’t focus on fixing the game they just have to make more killers that end up being the worst thing on the planet that we just want fixed but BHVR has to go chasing the next butterfly because they don’t want to listen to their fan base

Well, I hate survivors. So I like to feed them to the entity. With my Hag.

I'm really sorry that you have to deal with jumpscares in a horror game. That just seems really unfair to you.

  • As a fellow killer main, I should be honest and tell you that I slug quite a bit. It seems like the acceptable alternative to camping and tunneling, provided that you do it intelligently.

When I play survivor and I get slugged for any reason, I just slug my way around the map while singing "A Whole New World" from Aladdin. You might be astonished how much more tolerable it makes the whole process.

I can show you the world

    Shining shimmering, splendid

Tell me princess, now when did

You last let your slug decide?

  • Harsh, bruddah.

All I can say is I'd rather go against 3 UnbreakaBills and 1 BT than 3 BTs and 1 UnbreakaBill.

Still kinda think Forever Freddy is a little too strong, just change the addons so they dont go so well with dying light thana which those two perks alone can get up to 25% penalty pretty quickly.

They've already nerfed Freddy's slowdown add-ons. They're pretty useless at this point. At this point, if a Freddy is using 2 perks and both add-ons to make gens take less than 20 seconds longer to complete you should just let him. Isn't that better than insta-down perks and information perks and perks that help him catch you faster?
