Tada it’s probably a meta perk now

    Why did you necro this?

  • The grammar of OP severely hurt my ability to take the post seriously.

I was playing Hag. Didn't do jack. They just crotchwalked over the traps. I doubt stealth would have worked either, as they seemed to have a full-time lookout.

Plague and Doc could work, but the problem is that you can't just run a specific killer all the time in the expectation of a shenanicomp.

Hag with the silent trap add-on and placing them in a web around the area should be able to get them in some way. You have to assess how much time they woulda had to make distance and search that area. If their not setting off traps their not running or walking which means their crouching with or without urban evasion that's still a small area to search. Yamaoka especially is hard to find them but it's not impossible. Just to be clear I'm not saying git good or anything. It's hard either way but there's things you can try to do.

  • The counter is to only play Doc obv. I'm Kiddding.

Discordance can help if their sneaking around together. Dragons fire? Blights perk that makes them scream when they touch a kicked gen. Keep your eyes out for the crows/spies from the shadows. Or even bitter murmor you might not find them on the first gen but you'll have a general idea where to scour.

Alternatively? Stealth killers work well against them. Scratched mirror Myers. Hag traps. Zooming across the map as Billy or blight. Stealthy demo portals. Nurse long range blinks. Freddy has them highlighted. Plague with increased infection time. Spirit with stridor obv. Trapper traps to a degree can help but not that much. Leather with the light chassis. Clown if you wanna gas the whole area. PH can taint the area making it hard for them to do a quick getaway

Deathslinger, Huntress, and Legion can't really do much. Everyone else has some sort of way to counter them.

  • They won't do that as they see it as 'Pay to win" which I agree with. If the best blendette outfit costs money or even shards then they have a advantage over the baseline claudettes because they spent money. Buying cosmetics has and always will be a harder mode. I can't tell you the amount of times I've found someone cause of their purple hair sticking out

Yeah I mean it's the same principle though of standing at the exit gate. It's basically the player saying "I win and there's nothing you can do to stop me". Unlike survivors waiting at the exit gates there is a counter to it if you're smart. As someone else pointed out if you can observe the killer from afar and see that they aren't moving off of the hatch simply 99 the remaining gens you need so you can get a door attempt. I've actually been in this exact situation several times in the past and when it works out it's such a beautiful moment of vengeance!

Also, I had a few times where when I saw this taking place I ran to all the chests looking for a key. If you manage to find one bait the killer to close the hatch and open it up again. That'll teach him!

Your right your tight their are ways around it..sneakily do gens. 99ing is viable for sure. Doing them normally not so much but lol thanks everyone for your responses!

This. It's kind of saying you're definitely not escaping. I would feel bad about doing it or having it done but the amount of times i play killer and people are at the exit gates just waiting to crouch spam until time runs out or i hit them is astronomical.

Your right it is almost everyone but id say it's different.

In that case their just waiting to taunt you. In my case I'd say he took out a part of the round where survivors can very commonly escape but made it so he wins. Which sure as a killer main I can get behind. But at the same time I see it as getting sweaty for a 4k.

Also everyone else for context I did walk over to him and he didn't do anything so I walked up to get the hatch he closed it on me and initiated a chase. Then proceeded to not pick me up. So I think it was more a taunt and less a show of already winning.

    Edit: Grammar again

  • Least is easily Leather hands down. I see many leathers bringing Mori's and if a leather catches you outside a loop there's like no chance to get to one before he downs ya. Unless he's a potato and loses to a wall.

It's a serious question. Not sure why you're responding, but OK.

You sounded a bit patronizing. Like he was seeking validation. And it's a forum? People respond to your comments? Not sure why your being passive aggressive.

Do you feel relieved, now that you have shared that information with your peergroup?

He punished the toxicity and let everyone go I don't see an issue with him sharing. I was entertained reading it. It's general discussion and it's better then the endless Nerf deathslinger posts we get

  • I think a good way to judge this is using a different killer as an example. So his main issue was he couldn't use borrowed time cause it was a cage and he could camp the cage but let's say it's still a hook and it's a GF or a Wraith camping. Either one of them could keep bt from proccing and get the down. I'm sure it felt scummy to have this PH do that to them but honestly theirs ways around BT you can't expect every unhook in the egc to be safe and you can just body block till the boy gets to the exit gate. Take the loss of your one guy and move on. The d/c was uneeded. I don't think PH did anything wrong. He manipulated the situation to get around survivor plays the same way bodyblocking is using a strat to get around unsafe unhooks

  • Why did this post get necroed lmao

  • Something I haven't seen mentioned is Keys are a counter to survivors 3 genning themselves. I've had multiple upon multiple games where they 3 gemmed themselves realized their ######### search for a key find one and then find the hatch with 1 gen left and I've gotten one kill. I've had rounds where I've had to close the hatch 3 times because two people find a key and the hatch then opened for the last survivor. I have no issues with keys skipping exit gates.

  • Trapper: Trappersack is a must to be basekit

Skillcheck traps sound good but then if trapper has honing stone a survivor just worked to go down

I'd settle for just the traps not spawning on the corners of the map

Wraith: if windstorm becomes basekit and you have the purple all seeing there would be too much pressure on survivors at all times

Lightburned shouldn't be a thing at all

Hah: as far as I'm aware most people don't even know flashlight burns hag traps but I don't play hag that much

I agree with the less activation range.

Shape: infinite tier 3 would be ridic with these changes. If you have brutal strength onrop of the increased damage speed he'd be ripping through pallets like crazy

    Huntress: everyone agrees on this.

Nightmare: I'd say just removing the multiplier from jump chains would be enough

Pig: personally I want a full rework of the boxes and her add-ons. Half of them have downsides that make them unplayable

Close: I agree with of your clown changes

Spirit: doing this would re.oveall mindgaming potential from spirit.

Legion: might be the best legion change I've heard of

Deathslinger: I agree with the change but as a buff to help with the transition survivors can't body block to break the chain

Executioner: agreed with the change but remove the swinging instead of using your power while your rites are being placed effect.

  • Oh ######### dude. Yes. Yes and yes. Or like a LEGION SKIN BASED OFF OF ORG 13 BUT I was thinking like Tate from AHS when he shoots up the school

  • Wraith with Silent bell and All seeing(purple) with BBQ MYC Overcharge(because you gotta have some kind of slowdown) and Sloppy. Extra time from sloppy gives you time to find them myc because you can find them right after they unhook and you'll know which ones exposed. BBQ for No farming and theoretically seeing them from far away as your aura readings only 12 meters. It's jumpscare Myers but faster and better.

  • I say we go full school shooter look. Black trenchcoat give him a AK(just for cosmetic) maybe some face paint. I want to believe!

  • I 100% agree. I have to STRUGGLE to hit all survivors on most maps. And what do I get for that effort? A few seconds of time where they mend and probably don't heal. Plague literally does the same job but better. Inflicting broken on them and if they choose to fix that, giving her a ranged attack and her ######### just auto goes from one survivor to the next. Legions great for farming hit points but other then that I can't stand playing him no matter how much I like the gang. Rank 2 killer main if that matters.

I think it's a pretty weird that some people here are whining about you using Infinite Tier 3, but this post is pretty cringe she's naturally going to rescue her teammate. I could see if they stayed and looped ya before teabagging

As I've tried to convey the point of it was "Is Infinite Myers toxic" I blame myself for having the title the way it is but I wanted to share the full story. I don't feel entitled to the kill on the hook I should have just opened the gate and let her crawl out that's on me. But I thought the Toxicity of Infinite Myers might be why they did what they did, or it might be what anyone would do. I'm not upset about what happened at all I wanted some constructive feedback which I've gotten lol. As I've said before thanks everyone for your feedback

  • I think the idea is to make it so speed limiter is actually used. 50% bloodpoint bonus for no downside if used with it.

  • @Reaver_Raziel said:

As other people have said, stop sounding so goddamn entitled. I saw the title and thought it was about something like "Lol gg ez baby killer". But no you tried to let someone escape when other people were still alive, on the hook sure, but alive. Thats 100% on you. Calling you toxic for infinite myers is silly. But thats what you should have made a post about. Not you being dumb(gameplay wise) and feeling entitled to getting that one kill.

You make sure she is the last person in the game. And then you let her crawl out or give hatch. Anything less than that and you are basically saying, hey abandon your friend and live. Ofc they wanna play the hero and spit in the "devils" face, who gave them such a cruel deal.

As for infinite myers. I think its a very strong addon. But not op or even unfun. I remember a few times going against it, having trouble breaking line of sight and suddenly getting stuck vs infinite myers with 3 gens left to do. We managed but lost a couple during the match, but most of the time we were having a lot of fun fleeing for our lives. I remember playing it myself on "The game" and people were saying it was the most terrifying game they had in a while. So "fun" is subjective. OP? I would claim as a fact its not OP. But very very close.

Myers is a very mid tier character, so yeah I guess he could be qualified for being balanced. But a killer being balanced does not mean his addons are. Personally I would say Tombstone piece can make myers OP. Because it doesnt take nearly as long getting to tier 3 as his 2 iridescent addons. And you can instantly remove a player from the game and play normal myers after that, or remove at least 1 other player before just commiting to playing normally. So yes, myers have addons which are almost(if not actually) stronger than moris(his addons dont require hooks). And moris are definitely OP.

If you've read any of my other posts in the thread you'd know I'm not entitled I wanted opinions. My initial reaction was "Oh wow now I don't wanna give people the exit anymore" but I've since acknowledged my mistake. The rest of your comment is constructive thou and I appreciate that.

  • @rickyray101 said:

You had a tuft of hair... So the fact that they made it out alive makes them smart. I play both killer and survivor and I play both to win. Crying that people escape on here is pointless. Get over it and move on to the next match.

You misinterpreted my post. I wanted Laurie to escape (as ridiculous as that is as playing as Myers) I was wondering if Myers infinite tier 3 was considered toxic the same way Huntress Iri head infantry belt is and whether or not I made the mistake of picking her up or if her taking advantage of it was her being smart.

  • Seems like consensus is, My mistake picking her up which is fair my mistake. As for the toxic message I said that because at the time that action made me feel like I shouldn't give survivors anything which I don't like supporting but I was wrong saying that as toxic however one of their team messaged me first saying "lmao ran infinite tier 3 and you still lost GG Ez" which is why I messaged the group. Consensus also seems to be that Myers tier 3 isn't toxic in any way which is what I really wanted to know because unlike say Iri Head and Infantry belt Huntress, Infinite tier 3 requires buildup. Awesome I appreciate everyone's feedback thank you very much.
