Speaking as a killer main who recently came back from a year long break, I think the game's balance has improved a lot since I left. Some of the most ridiculously overpowered nonsense on both sides has been eliminated. Despite their many missteps, I want to give mad props to the devs for making persistent progress on balancing this game. Since MMR I've played 25-30 solo-Q survivor matches, and literally every single one of them has gone the same way: I get chased all match and can't rank up. I have yet to play a survivor match since MMR where I've gotten less than 7k Evader points and more than 2k in any other category. Sometimes my Herculean efforts allow my team to hammer out gens and we live, sometimes the killer is running0 comments 21 views last activity

I had the darndest thing happen against me last night. I was playing against a duo SWF (they had matching names/cosmetics) and they were playing a little mean-spirited and doing a lot of t-bagging. Which is fine, because I played nice and beat them anyway. Halfway through the match I had them both slugged right next to each other. This will be a slightly longer post, but I promise it'll be worth the read as you experience the pain and bewilderment of solo Q DBD at its finest. Odd new behavior I've been noticing over the past couple months. A Cheryl will load into the lobby and as everyone else readies up she'll just switch between her outfits to show off her cosmetics. I've seen it happen maybe a half dozen times now, always with different players, but it's always a Cheryl. When the devs announced they were making every perk the same rarity to make it easier to find perks, I wondered how it was supposed to do that. I knew which perks were green (rare) and which were purple (very rare). Now I was gonna have 5 pages of purple perks to scroll through to find the one I wanted. This is only the second hacker I've seen this year, and maybe the 6th or 7th that I've seen since the game launched, but boy was this one a doozy. He had the instaheals. He had the speedhacks. He had the clipping through walls and the floor. He could teleport. So yesterday I had a salty Huntress report me to the devs for having a "230ms ping". Being reported for that reason is pretty amusing, but here's the thing: My ping is NOT that high. I have a solid internet connection and get a consistent 55ms. It's not insane, but it's absolutely playable. Just wanted to share this story: I was playing a Blight match with the new Undying/Ruin combo on Groaning Storehouse. About 2 minutes into the match I hear the sound of a totem breaking, and I notice my Ruin has been deactivated. Then I realize my Undying totem is still active. What the heck? It takes me a few seconds to realize that they broke all 3 of the dull totems and then my Ruin. It had0 comments 41 views last activity

Have any of you fine folks been experimenting with this addon? Have any of you played against it? I'm curious to know your thoughts, and whether it gets rid of Blight's wall-boinking sounds and growls in the same way that Billy's new addon gets rid of his chainsaw noises I just used it in a match on Mother's Dwelling and I got absolutely no value out of it. Hey y'all, When everyone's playing well and nobody's BMing I like to bring the last survivor to the hatch, but ever since cross-play things have been kinda nuts. It feels like almost every game I'm getting one survivor - always on crossplay - that refuses to help their teammates, tanks the match for their entire team, and then camps hatch and t-bags me on the way out. Occasionally I hear from salty survivor groups that I'm playing a "boring braindead killer". This is almost always followed up with "zzzzzzzzzz". I was wondering where it comes from. Is there some youtuber or twitch streamer who is teaching this nonsense to their audience?
