Freddy all the way. Legion had some competition against him for my favorite killer, but Freddy came out on top. He will always be my favorite Dream Demon.
-
Yes. I was playing some Freddy yesterday and the hits felt friggin' smooth. I play on Xbox btw so it could have been just additional optimization but those spicy slicey claw swings felt fluid.
-
The perk quotes, "If you don't save them, you have blood on your hands. If you do, then her hunger grows" or something like that. Her "hunger" only grows if they're saved, so that's the way it should be.
-
Legion does have counterplay, but it means absolutely nothing. Since he can't see scratch marks while in frenzy, survivors can juke him around corners. They either get away completely (at least until his frenzy expires) or Legion takes a second to find them again and misses their first hit, but since they have no attack cooldown, it doesn't matter and they swing again and hits the survivor. As much as I love the concept of being able to strike again and again, it simply leaves no counterplay to be successful or worthwhile.
I think Legion should have a longer cooldown between attacks in frenzy so it is more punishing to miss while like that. I think that would give survivors a little bit more of a chance and gives more counterplay and make Legion, even if it is slightly, less frustrating to play against.
-
I'm a Quentin main myself and I agree with ya.
Pharmacy I think is okay. It's not great but it's nice to use when you run a chest looting build.
Wake Up is God awful and really needs a buff or even a rework. Perhaps it can see the auras of survivors needing aid in any way within a certain range. Maybe not for injured survivors since that's what Empathy is for, but maybe if someone is asleep or has deep wound applied or just status effects in general including mangled.
Vigil is......okay......but since exhaustion got nerfed, it's pretty close to useless. A lazy fix would be to bump the numbers up, but I wouldn't be against it also getting a rework.

It gives 10 percent for you. The red bar means that you yourself aren’t repairing at the normal speed. When survivors repair together, yes it is faster, but each surviver suffers from an additional 10% speed reduction for each survivor repairing with them.
Prove thyself is supposed to cancel out that penalty for you and you only, but if another survivor has Prove Thyself and they are repairing a gen with you, one of you will still have the penalty since only one survivor on a gen at a time can have the Prove Thyself bonus. -

I agree with you......but I as well as much of the DBD community dispise that man in the video....

F**kin Master Chief 😎

Dang, you’re right. Guess I’ve been missing a bunch of stuff.

I’m using my phone right now and I still get notifications.
-
Quitting when your hex goes down is the equivalent of quitting when you miss your DS or are found first. Don’t dc. It either screws the game for the others or doesn’t let them play at all. Just play the game. If you lose, you lose. Most of the time, when my hex goes down instantly, I still play and have a good game.
-
I don't DC. I live with it and gain whatever bloodpoints I made even if it is only 1 minute into the trial. However, it is not uncommon for survivors to DC against me if they are either downed or even found first.

Bamboozle. Prevents most window loops altogether and saves tons of time. Of course, if you’re on The Game...well then you just wasted a perk slot.
-
Jk. As much as I hate him, I would love to merge two communities to make one.
-
There is one problem I have with that......I'm on Xbox. I would love to play with others from different platforms.......except for one individual. Name starts with "O" and ends with "chido"......don't know if I wanna be in the same group as that guy.

You’re both entitled. Grow up. As for the discussion, I say changing the multi blinks for something else should happen. Multi blinks just kind of takes the skill out of nurse. The prayer beads I don’t think should go, however I wouldn’t be against them making it an ultra rare addon versus just very rare.DwightsLifeMatters said:

Internet has nothing to do with the performance and graphic quality.
All consoles are the same, if separate between xbox and ps4 (and their upgraded versions like ps4 pro).
I hope it's just a joke, otherwise it just proofs a point that only braindead people like Legion -

It was needed, no one asked for that vault nerf we got.No one asked for Freddy's nerf, Doctorn nerf and many other nerfs either.
Except for the hundreds of high-rank survivors (20-15).....which is why Freddy was nerfed.....twice.....

A quick search here or on the sub should answer your question. I'm just slightly annoyed that we've heard no news on a Freddy update in over a year now while the Pig, who I love BTW and am glad she got it, got a buff before him. As someone who's mained Freddy every since he came out, I know he's unfun to play against and sometimes to play as, but once you get him down, he's super enjoyable. They just need to tweak his numbers. Maybe make it so you've got to be further away from an asleep survivor before the wallhacks kick in BUT make it so the "Z" block is part of his base kit. Just spitballing. One of the developers, MacClean I think is his name, recently hosted a twitch stream. He spoke a little about the Freddy rework and stated that they are actively working on it. It's not something that they can easily do. It requires a lot of time on top of the fact that they must keep up with everything else in the game. And let's be real, they can't afford to screw up his rework. That would be detrimental.
-
Also, I don't consider the changes to pig a nerf.....quite the opposite actually. With the exception of the increase in terror radius, she has been buffed as far as I'm concerned. Not enough to make her any more viable, but I'll take my victories.
-
One of the developers recently had a twitch stream and spoke about changes to Freddy. Of course, he didn't say much, but at least he let us know that they are actively working on it. It may be a while, but they're spending time on him, so that's a plus.
-
I disagree. If you mindgame well enough, windows aren't an extreme issue. It'll be nice to have some momentum when vaulting a window instead of consistently getting whacked by the killer from the other side even though you've gone through the full vault animation.
-
Imagine this build: Surveillance, Ruin, Discordance, and either Overcharge or Pop Goes the Weasel.
I call it my "Don't Touch My Gennies" build.
-
Tru3ta1ent faced this very very recently. If you go on youtube and watch his last video as nurse, you'll see it. He ends up getting them, though, which is nice. Anyone who uses an exploit is kind of a fag.
-
I use 100 for both killer and survivor. For survivor, it's perfect, but for killer it is not enough sometimes. Don't get me wrong, I can still hit survivors when they try 360s, but if they do it well enough, I can't turn fast enough to follow them and I end up missing. It is particularly frustrating when you have a very short amount of time to attack (like nurse) and they are behind you, you won't physically be able to turn around fast enough to attack.
If you want to hit good survivors who 360 well, I suggest waiting to attack until you are either right up on them, or waiting for them to 360 and keeping your eyes on them until they become confused as to why you didn't attack. It's also kind of fun to just stop moving when they 360, only to have them run into you and you just whack.
-
Agreed. Survivors don't earn enough BPs generally at all, but the survival category right now is just utter BS. You get 100 BPs in survival for doing very specific actions like mending. 100. That's laughable.
-
Reliable? Maybe. Effective? Absolutely not. The numbers for Thanatophobia are too low for it to be viable.
-
Unlike many here, I believe it is the closest to balanced as it has ever been. Survivors DEFINITELY needed the many nerfs. I can understand the frustration resulting from it, but in order for the game to stay relevant, something needed to be done. Nowadays, a skilled killer can successfully mindgame a survivor (with the exception of certain loops) and decimate the competition. At the same time, however, if there is a coordinated group of survivors who know what they're doing, the killer has a much harder game.
While it's not perfect, I like the state the game is in. Much of the people who play are biased for one side or another. To say a game is "heavily" balanced to either side is ignorant. I'm sorry you don't 4K every game. I'm sorry you or your group doesn't escape every game. In the end, somebody has to lose.
For those who say the game is in survivor's favor, for most of my time in DBD, I'd agree. But now, I think it is as close to balanced as we can get. Granted, gens can go by pretty friggin fast, but that does not happen every single game. If you really think the killer is weak, go ahead and watch my favorite streamer Tru3talent. I'm confident he will prove that every killer can be strong in the right hands.
For those who say the game is in the killer's favor.......I mean c'mon. I understand looping against a good killer can be hard, but one survivor is not supposed to be able to face a killer themselves. It's a team game. If your team is lackluster......well, ya probably will lose. But if you have a strong team who knows what to do, the game will seem like a breeze. Check out Marth88's depip squad. He will show you what a strong team looks like.
In the end, it's a video game. If you don't have fun, you aren't obligated to play so much to the point of rage. Try to have an objective mindset rather than a subjective one, and the truth may reveal itself to be different than you once thought.
-
If a killer exists on the same map as survivors while one is hooked, they are camping. If they down or chase anyone more than once a match, they are tunneling. If they use BBQ while versing survivors with Sprint Burst, Decisive, Adrenaline, and Dead Hard, then they are crutched baby killers. Welcome to DBD.
-
Survivors get very few bloodpoints. Penalizing SWF by reducing that even more would only hurt the game. There's no reason to do so in the first place anyways. I play killer more than survivor, so I understand the pain of facing SWF, but punishing people who want to play online with friends is both arrogant and immature. That's just my opinion.
-
Dang. You should let me know when you do!

He isn't condoning survivor DC's, he's condemning Killer DCs.
There is no hypocricy at all, he doesn't give an opinion and then say "Oh but I think it's ok that survivors DC". He just doesn't give his opinion on it at all.
You don't HAVE to say "I hate killer dcs & survivor dcs" everytime the topic comes up, he can simply state killers dcing is bad and that doesn't mean he thinks survivors dcs are good.

A contest? That’s a really good idea! Even I would participate in that one.Peanits said:I really like it. There's a lot more to chase music though. It's not just a single file playing as you get chased, it's a whole bunch of tracks being mixed together on the fly. That music and the ones on the soundtrack (they play before the streams) are simplified versions that are pre-mixed so you can actually listen to them.
I think it would be really cool to have more chase music in the game though. Might even make for a cool contest one day. -
Do you have any more?

This is awesome!!!! You should be proud

@TheMidnightRidr wouldnt you get more points my way, if you mori them after the 1st hook you lose out on the next hook, plus it makes sense with a killer getting angry and killing the survivor themselves instead of wanting to hook them.It just doesn't make any sense to mori a survivor if they were dead anyway. We're entitled to have our own opinions, I guess, and mine just conflicts with yours. Good day, friend.
-
@SirMurphAlot said:
@TheMidnightRidr yeah it should be two hooks they can still be pulled off, its not hard hooking survivors. My point is that if you are going to mori a survivor when they have been hooked twice, you're wasting your time and potential points. They would only need to be hooked one more time for them to die, so why use a mori? It would completely negate the usefulness a mori brings to the game.

You don't actually want SWF to be removed......right? I understand the frustrations. Trust me, I play more killer than survivor, but why would you ever want to take away the option of playing this game online with friends? I enjoy playing survivor with friends and so do many others. Anyone who advocates for it to be removed is just immature and taking the game too seriously.
There is a mode called KYF fyi
I'm aware, but do you know how buggy it is, first of all? It's nearly impossible to have a regular game in it. Additionally, not everyone likes playing against their friends, rather they would like to play WITH their friends against a matchmade opponent.

Two words: Gen tapping. Not bashing you, but there is a difference between the one you speak of and the unspoken one. Gen Tapping has been accepted by the Developers.
You can not compare exploits that the Developers acknowledged and accepted to new exploits that arise from new mechanics that the Developers have not acknowledged or accepted.
Basically we need to get the Developers to release an official word on this issue.
I'm not considering it an exploit, but I do consider it to be just as cheap as moonwalking as Legion. Just as Legion disregards the defenses of a survivor by moonwalking, a survivor is able to completely negate skill checks, thus surpassing what's normally a killer's defense. They're both shameful ways to play in my eyes.
