Can we just do something like in Friday the 13th? As a second (random) option or objetive, you need to get a series of things to kill the killer.

Thats the point.. base characters are always made bland or ugly so you pay up to look somewhat decent.
It is the point, but having the OG Ghostface in place, it would just look better because it's a DLC. The only reason it wasn't like that at first is because they didn't have the license back then for his outfit.
-
it's counterproductive.

they wont even change hillbilly's chainsaw/huntress' hatchets which are way easier so I doubt it xd, but it would make plague's skin 10 times better
I wouldn't call it easier.
-
It's suppose to be about the newest movie. How he was kept captive. You'll see the outfit if you just watch the trailer.
-
In green ranks, the killer usually has the authority over the survivors and the killer loses if it's either an SWF, smurfs or he made a silly mistake.
In purple and high ranks, survivors have the authority. They can make the game impossible for the killer because these players don't only have a crap ton of skill, they also have a bunch of map knowledge, pallets, windows, timings, etc. They can do many things to screw the killer up.

Maybe stop and it’s time to change priorities?
The game doesn’t need more dlc’s, there are more than enough stuff the most part of which still waiting for any attention. Rly..
And add some features which will improve the game by itself? Like survivors uniqueness, more game mods, etc.
You've been on a rampage of trashing things recently. Respectful. I think though that DLC's aren't the issue, it's really just how much input and effort they put into everything. DLC's are by far put way more effort than balance.

IT 2 was that successful?
I remember everyone saying it was boring/not scary/the first was way better and so on.
IT 2 was overly gruesome, violent, and really dark. IT 1 is scarier though, IT 2 feeds off people being disgusted.
-
Maybe add 60/70/80% generator progression, keep the exhaustion, but add oblivious. :)
-
No thank you. DS is perfectly fine.
-
C tier is so wrong in my opinion. Corrupt intervention is underrated, easily B tier. Monitor, Dying light and Sloppy butcher deserve a B spot. Possibly monitor deserves an A spot on the list. Last but not least, Infectious Fright and Thrilling Tremors deserve either a B+ or A tier.
Respected, but I see half of C tier B tier or higher.

Old. The atmosphere was more heart pounding

NOED almost always is no more than just a punishment for gen rushing survivors which didn't complete their secondary objective.
If you hate this HEX so much - bring map with add-ons or Small Game and do these bones, stop crying.
Sorry chief, I don't see NOED being a counter or "punishment" as you described it for gen rushing. Contrary to your belief, I think it rewards bad play and punishes a good developed game by the survivors. I don't think you understand why people hate NOED. Not so much that they're oblivious, but that it unfairly punishes a good survivor game.
If a game pushes you to cleanse 5 totems just for an end-game perk, that's poor game design. Why? Because it removes you from the main objective.
-
I hate red ranks, so I can grind my way back which feels much more rewarding rather than being stomped at rank 1.
-
Killers like Clown love the inclusion of Thrilling Tremors. Stealth killers probably enjoy that extra time though, not so much the info.
-
If you aren't running the new Thanatophobia + Dying light combo... you're going to have a hard time. Add Ruin and another perk of your choice and you can punish both sides for not cleansing and punish them with your corrupt vomit if they had cleaned already.
-
Yeah sounds cool, but the sun needs to be an eclipse!
-
Any killer will become really simple the minute you find a relationship between your past experiences and a killer. Projectiles: Have you played Hanzo in Overwatch? Perfect! Play Huntress, Clown or Plague. Have you ever played Tracer? Play Nurse. I consider myself a good Demogorgon, Clown and Trapper.
-
Well, Spirit would be super helpful. I'd probably get a heart attack before she gets the chance to stab me.
Nurse would be super terrifying, unless you have some good dodging skills and would risk your hand and stab her face, so she is probably momentarily blind.
Trapper.... yeah, he'd be terrifying. Once you step in his traps, your life is over. Furthermore, you will be screaming in pain and you would need to run around the forest cautiously.
Though, by far.... Demogorgon, Doctor and the Plague would be the most terrifying.
-
Yes. Survivors have gotten enough acknowledgement about his shred that know it's just prediction. Moving freely I advocate for.
-
Invisibility is his strong suit... imagine having a shiver for being invisible. Giving him complete invisibility while cloaked will give him a well deserved buff.
-
Trapper disrespected. He can cut off power loops. Without Iridescent Head, Huntress I can see struggling against better survivors.
-
You must be a god if you nearly never get hooked. I praise you, and I'm not being sarcastic. I agree!
-
GG generally means 'good game'
GG can also be made during the game when one side appears to be winning, resulting in degrading someones self-esteem, which is the exact opposite of what a sportsman like player does. GG generally is used respectfully, rightfully so. On the other hand, people can feel like being absolute jerks and bring someone down for their own pleasure.
It's a truly sad world we live in that revolve around diverse personalities.

Clementine. Thanks

Wouldn’t Monitor and Abuse make her weaker? If her terror radius is decreased when out of chase than you wouldn’t be able to use your power as efficiently
It wouldn't affect her phase, which really benefits tracking perks for her or aura perks. This with Nurse's on Spirit is nasty. She'll only have an 8 meter radius out of it if I'm certain. 8 meters is nothing, it still is great.
-
Well, I guess I'm being devoured by rank1 PC Nurse's now.
-
I demand my Clown to be top tier or else I'll revoke your power from ever making tier lists again!
-
It's not in the killers authority the majority of the time to force the survivors in a 3 generator situation. You can't possibly be banned for something that's not in your control, furthermore it's used and it's one of the many strategies survivors can force themselves into.
-
I use Claudette because I love using her orange 72hrs apron with her bloody prestige pants. I don't do it because she's the smallest, why would I have the need to be small if I want to be an orange basically? Claudette is not as stealthy as before, but she's by far the character who can pull it off the "best".
-
BBQ, PGTW, Monitor and Abuse, Discordance, Make your choice, nurse's calling
-
Not a QoL change to ruin itself, a QoL change to totem spawns so they are similar to Badham Preschool.
-
I prefer the Brutal Strength and Bamboozle combo
-
@Blueberry said:
She isn't unbalanced and that doesn't break the event.
What makes her unbalanced is her beads, not her base kit. If you can't run Iron Will, it's not our fault. Plus, Clown got a better cosmetic.
-
The Bamboozle, Brutal Strength combo sounds ridiculously over the top, but it's just great. With his bottles being used to mostly negate or get a free hit, it can close loops and close the distance between the Clown and the survivor.
I tend to go with this build: Thrilling Tremors, Pop Goes the Weasel, Bamboozle/STBFL, Brutal Strength. If you aren't super skilled and good at mind gaming, the add-on for exhaustion and extra bottles is super amazing to run. It will definitely help you, other than the obvious pinky finger.
The most important part about Clown is using his bottles-- opposite to popular belief, you don't always need to be conservative and need to re-fill them. Listen, negating 2 spots for 1 hit is what you want, you don't want the possibility of the survivor getting another loop. Refilling bottles doesn't seem time consuming, but seconds in game can be game changing, believe me.
Ideally, the best time to re-fill is when you just placed someone on the hook and you're proxying away.

Don't forget the clown main, i mean we have super interesting killer but they are trash (expect for spirit)
but really you just got to play while being dedicated as alba says, you have to focus and try hard.
after getting rank 1 with them play them more for the fun (and psst maybe change ruin or pop goes for bambozzled it help in loop and windows and the vault speed affect pallet too)
EDIT: it's them sorry
You know, I've learned to be super oppressive with Clown recently and have considered maining him. While many people mention that good bottle use is the "best use", I tend to disagree. I usually love throwing a bottle at where the loop entrance started, and when it ended.
-
Pennywise 🤣
-
To anyone saying that MacMillan is better for Trapper rather than Haddonfield being the best, yeah no. He can cut off the infinite, the patch where they fall down, he can trap narrow alleys and the only thing he lacks on the map is the map pressure, which can easily countered with some perks.
-
So you're telling me you recover from being exhausted while running a marathon? Yeah no. Give us a Gatorade chapter and give one to every survivor and then sure. This would be a great buff for vigil though!

Hate to spoil your hype but he wont be coming until December most likely.
I couldn't care less if he comes next year, just that the model looks good and it's confirmed.

I'm not excited at all. I'm excited for a potential Pennywise reveal this upcoming weekend.

New match right now. Two brought a medkit. They get tunnelled to death
Making a post, getting mad about it and making the point that you'll go to the extent to tunnel just goes to show that you've fallen for their bait. The more frustrated you get, the worse you will happen to play. It's a circulation of toxicity and annoying the killer. They're being benefited from your frustration, more than they're having to pay.
-
I think the whole point of stealth killers is to be bright and colorful, or am I wrong?
-
People who can't just say no and have the need to say something else than constructive, you're the people who are real clowns, but no. I can definitely agree with all the people here that Freddy does not need a nerf, but if you run the perk "Small Game", you will have an easier time with him. Small game detects fake pallets, etc.. It's really useful and it hard counters 1/2 of Freddy's power.

Of course its about bringing in money no one has ever said otherwise that's a given.
The point is people are allowed to voice opinions on whether they think they like the idea of something being added it is afterall what a forum is partly for.
Yes and fear in this game could be horrendous. Another doctor power which people hate. Another dream state which people hated and was chnaged. Just because its possible doesn't mean it should hence I personally don't think it would work on this game.
Penny wise doesn't kill anyone he is not the killer. If you had watched or read you would know. He is a projection the alien entity uses as a lure and put fear into people so IT can devour them and why they are alive when taken to IT as dead people have no fear.
"In both the book and the films, It is an ancient alien creature, older than civilization, and in King’s novel, older than our universe. It feasts on the flesh of humans simply because our fears are easy to manifest and they make us taste better."
He does actions though that lead to death. He left Georgie to bleed out, which no other entity or person touched him after that. While that probably only works as a Mori, leaving someone to die is still a homicide. He's more of a "leave and go", but integrating him into DBD's world isn't that difficult, you just need to be creative and think outside the box. I think you're gravitating too much to the actual story and lore of IT, and not what can potentially happen.

Whatever it takes to get my Huntress with Shadowborn, Pop/Nurse's, Ruin and Barbecue. If it goes so badly that gens pop too fast, I'll camp one guy because I wouldn't be getting much if I didn't kill one and let the rest go.
