I'm not trying to tell anyone that Pennywise shouldn't be put in this game, I want to know why people think he should be put into this game. Like, why would he make a good killer? What would his toolkit look like? How would he put survivors on edge?
It's not "prove yourself to me so I can judge you, peasant!" but "help me understand your passion so I can see it for myself".
Why mention slashers then? It just makes your post much more confusing, but I already really answered your question. Big IP, Blu-ray comes out in December, second question is because "slashers" aren't so apparent and other entities aren't as obsolete anymore and his toolkit.... it would just be switching from killer to killer or they make it so Pennywise activates every survivors biggest fear.
He would put them on edge because it's about making you go insane, having to face your fears and if you don't beat your fears, you die. He would be similar to the Doctor in a sense, mid-tier.

I mean, you are spreading lies. Do you expect a constructive answer when your only contribution here is a lie?
"Git gud" is not constructive in the least, it's just pure annoyance, nothing more, nothing else. The best of the best get gen rushed and it has been proved over and over again. Stop putting an issue to the side when it's right in your face. It's not a lie in the least, it happens if the survivor SWF is optimal enough and smart. Yes, people do want a constructive and temporary solution to calm their situation down.
-
Because it's badass... Who cares if a game is around slashers anyway? They said themselves that there is nothing that they cannot get now because they have a big IP in-terms of license and popularity. Stop with that train of thought that it's based around "slashers" now. The developers themselves disproved that last week, and that's just that.
Pennywise would be cool and fun, it doesn't inherently need to be a "classic". You don't seem to know the reason why they pulled Stranger Things into the picture, right? Because S3 came out and their IP is huge. Furthermore, the next chapter is set to be released around December.... exactly when the Blu-ray edition of IT 2 comes out.

Yeah, I am...! I'll try playing without it.

Yeah, he's good :)

The Demogorgon's totem game is nasty as well. The portals make it painful to cleanse totems since they don't only alert you to cleansers but also act as warp points to help you defend.
Definitely the reason why I'm running devour. I honestly think I'll get to 3 tokens the majority of games.
-
Infectious Fright definitely. Rancor serves if you are reliant on many things, infectious fright rewards you and punishes body blocking survivors, flashlights, etc... Definitely worth the buy!

O.o I like territorial imperative with him.
hook in basement drop a portal at the top and leave. When it goes off drop a portal warp over and get them with make your choice.
by the time you get back borrowed time is out of play also
I think I saw Otz do that. It looked fun!
-
I tend to save it if I can for unsafe pallet loops. You can suffer getting mind-gamed and while he's/she's lunging at you, you just dead hard into the pallet and you take 0 damage and can once again, vault. I think that's an issue, that the perk can completely deny the cost of making a fatal mistake.
-
Demogorgon. Not so much because I'm a vivid Stranger Things fan, but because he really isn't afflicted by a hatchet, a knife. The only thing I can see hurting him would be Billy's chainsaw, but yet again....
Demogorgon would just eat them. Nothing has ever been said about how he's organs work, he's unidentified. If Freddy pulls you into his world, the Demogorgon could just make the Dream world into the upside down, quite simple? He, because nothing has ever been said other than him being able to have regenerative capabilities and not being afflicted by gunshots, so why would a knife or hatchet do much more to him?
GhostFace and Legion would be the silliest to pick.

Pennywise isn't scary, he is countered literally by standing up to him
The only power he would be good with that is lore based is countered by SWF
You're telling me Legion and Clown's upcoming elephant skin is scarier. Phhhhffff.... I want Pennywise.

why not use both?
for the extra amount of salt xD
though if i had to choose, id pick bamboozle. cruel limits requires a gen to be done to activate, which is exactly what ou dont want to happen. also bamboozle has unlimited uses and gives a faster vaulting speed.
Haha! Because I'm running considering running Bamboozle, Devour Hope, Ruin and Surge on my Demogorgon.
-
@Alphaphalt said:
Neither. Learn to run tiles, it's not hard.
Thanks for the answer I wasn't asking for. Some killers do it better than others, some tiles are harder to run on different killers. Just wanted to know :)
@Objectively_speaking said:
Bamboozle, it forces a pallet drop. (Survivors hate it BTW)
Yeah, I hate it because I'm a survivor main, but considering I'm getting into Demo, I considered bamboozle as an option.

i guess distortion

Yeah, especially if truetalent says the EXACT OPPOSITE
It's opinion based and just because Truetalent is somewhat a celebrity in the community, it doesn't make his idea or opinion better or actually correct. Let's see... being popular and having a bunch of people watching you doesn't inherently make your argument anymore special or anything. That's a big and bad misconception to make and have.

I personally don't think Trapper and GhostFace are better than Demogorgon. Clown imo isn't better than Plague and that's what I disagree with.
-
Dude that really isn't cool to brag about, it's nothing much to feel good about, especially when 2 of them are higher rank than you currently in the first screenshot.
-
The absolute best perk build imo for Demogorgon currently is: Devour Hope, Pop/Surge, Enduring/Bamboozle and BBQ
-
Surge, PGTW, MYC, Infectious Fright, Enduring, Bamboozle are all very good on him.
-
Making matters worse, I haven't gone against Demo yet.

ok, and i know the community wont like it but that isnt just this community most places on the internet if you say your own opinion you get hated on unless you are famous
Again, that's why I'm saying that it's flawed, but I and many others respect your tier list. You aren't being hated either, it's just a mass of disagreement.

well this is my experience like what i faced yours might be worse or better. im only saying and showing what tiers i would put each killer
That's exactly why I mentioned your opinion and it's respected. I'm just mentioning that the majority of the community would not agree on more than half of your list. It's not a personal attack, just a observation, just like yours :)
-
worst tier list ever made respectfully. It's your opinion and respected, but thinking and putting Pig and Doctor over so many other greater killers, it's definitely flawed. The majority of the community would think 11/17 of your tier list is wrong.
-
@Kycer said:
As long as SWF exists, so should moris.
That's quite flawed, but... I honestly think Ebony's should go and SWF should be balanced around rankings. Gray-Green - 3 and 4 stack's allowed, Purple-Red 2 stacks and below. I think a complete rework or removal of SWF would be unhealthy.
-
Good. An underrated perk being a counter to another killer. 'Bout time it's recognized for it's superiority.
-
Ok demogorgon.
I prefer Mom with he's Scoops outfit :)

It usually happens around 10-11PST - 1-2PM EST

If you had to choose one ๐
Can't, they're both equally great and entertaining. It would be really hard, but I guess Stranger Things, but it doesn't really matter since we're probably getting both.

both

Bloodpoints are not p2w, u can earn them easy with playing. Something becomes p2w when you can only get a weapon/perk with money and that particular thing is very strong. Bbq for example.
I don't think you know what I'm referring to p2w as. That's obvious, but I thought the auric cells were to re-roll. Just the battle pass, not what you mentioned. It might not be P2W in it's entirety, but I can definitely see it.
-
Paying for rituals and weekly's, I don't really know if it's the greatest idea. It makes it seem like P2W or P2W for people who pay for it. It should be free, only the initial "battle pass" should cost 10$ dollars and the rest is re-rolled every day, except for the weekly.
It looks cool, but it's ridiculous what they want. Maybe to re-roll early, then sure, but... Or am I overly wrong? Is the extra auric cells just to re-roll sooner than the timer runs out? I'm confused!
-
I'm not terrible at anything, exactly the opposite.
no, but in all seriousness: I'm pretty bad at looping consistently.
-
I mean, anything from you with LF is believable at this point. You are really confident with your LF, so no one is going to doubt your amazing play, but for other people who don't main LF, I would not consider it believable.

Agitation and deerstalker bad?
I'll leave a like whenever you ask me something :). Maybe Agitation is low-mid

@GrootDude said:
A lot is wrong with this list imo, how is nurses calling the best perk? Once you learn how to play LF he is pretty good and Hag is easily the third best killer.
ok brother, just saying the perks aren't in particular order in the tier list. The colors are just to make it look attractive :)

@GrootDude A new challenger approaches...
Its funny that Freddy is high, and huntress it mid... Also, why is Gorgon on the list when hes not officially out for 2 more days?
I've been able to make a definitive guess and answer to it. Reasons: Played Demogorgon enough 2. He seems really good at cutting long walls and keeping map pressure. @GrootDude and I have had a small discussion on it before, I still persist ๐
-
Exhaustion. It's really fudging annoying.
-
Discordance and Pop are a deadly combo. With characters like Billy, Nurse and possibly Spirit, it really isn't needed because you have a lot of map pressure. On killers who don't have the greatest map pressure, IE; Leatherface, the perk is needed.
-
@AokiiSenpaii said:
The thing is, they chose both of them because they have actually fought the Demogorgon. And Jonathan most likely will not disappear for Season 4 of Stranger things.
That's why Hopper is not a Survivor. He is coming back in season 4.
Usually a survivor has to disappear in some way in order to make it into the entitys realm.
What is the ideation here? Jonathan was part of the fight in Joyce's house y'know? Nancy and Steve will be back.
-
ok.
-
Look. People say "Oh do this and that, learn to loop properly." It's true and all, but... You really just need to be good at mindgames and understand the killers playstyle: IE: Respecting pallets, smacking through them, double backing frequently. Yeah, looping is important, but not as important in my eyes than mindgames.
Mindgames are what save you often from a 1v1 chase, if not, you'll be just wasting pallets. Just be confident, mindgame well, acknowledge the killers playstyle and don't throw everything you see, use it tactically. Don't inherently fixate yourself around the idea of looping the killer around something, if it means taking a hit, take a hit and move on. Looping is defined by running a killer around one area or thing for a bit, but you really don't need all that if you know how to manage the mindgame.
-
As long as I'm not in red, yellow and gray, I'm perfectly fine being where I'm currently at.
-
I haven't heard people wanting her nerfed specifically. I've heard many people crying about how powerful prayer beads is.
-
I would love a map with a bunch of trees, super open with really dense fog. It would really add. Take the Slenderman game at night, but with a lot of fog and no real vision. I'm so intrigued by the idea and Slenderman in general because I thought that he was real and would kill me when I was younger.

Gordon? Gordonba Ramsay as the killer in the next chapter? Yes. Take my money BHVR! :D
Might as well criticize my cooking. Perfect! New killer tests your ability to cook and if you're absolute dog at it, get hooked.

Let's make a perk that injures/downs survivors if they keep going at a nearly completed generator if the killer is near
Totally, let's also implement a perk that DC's the killer if they even touch a survivor.

tbh I don't get what you are trying to explain. Right now Hex: Thrill of the Hunts gives more BP, increases the cleansing time for Hex: Totems and gives a notification for them. What do you want?
Doesn't mean it can get a buff.
It's quite simple: Whenever a survivor is cleansing a dull totem, they get alerted that Thrill of the Hunt is a perk that the killer is running. What I propose is that it doesn't alert the survior that Thrill of the Hunt is a thing until they start cleansing a HEX totem.
