Not so much I think any need nerfs, but... perks in which I believe will be nerfed in the near future are:
KILLERS: NOED, PGTW, Enduring/Spirit Fury. I think these will probably be nerfed somehow.
SURVIVORS: Adrenaline, DS, Dead Hard, Unbreakable,

Nah, make a tundra.

You should get outplayed when you just start something.
Imagine launching OW and becoming Grand Master within a month.
You hold your own until your Rank 5? Then it sounds like you’ve belong above Rank 5.
I may of played a lot more Survivor, but I’ve played plenty of Killer as well.
The problem is, a lot of people think they’re better than they actually are. Or they get tilted by meaningless things in game and it messes your game up.
Oh it took me a while to get GM in OW, that totally makes sense, but if I've been able to play countless months on end in mid/low purples and get 3/4k's I don't see why I don't inherently belong there. In red ranks? Never and will never. I'm not competent enough to be in reds as a killer. Of course I did many mistakes and I don't expect to be suddenly incredible, I don't think the grand scheme of people expect to be suddenly incredible at what they just started.
Very good example though on OW.
-
Highly doubt and I want them to not. It looks good, but I think we all can agree that it needs more polishing before it's released to the general public. Other than that, BHVR has done nothing less than incredible for us.

Your first time playing Killer and you reach Rank 4.
What I see is that the ranking system needs to be made harder so you’re properly matched.
Flashlights and doing gens? How dare they break your Killer rules and try to..
S U R V I V E.
That's what I used to think when I was a survivor one-trick. Seriously though, I'm basically properly matched because I can stand my ground in purples except rank5. I'm not complaining about anything in reality, but I'm referring to the hard time I see that killers mains go through.
I've got to admit, us survivors have our challenges, but there's 4 of us compared to 1 wielding a weapon.

The first step to enlightenment. Playing both sides. Bravo.
I've played killer for quite some time now, but I've never made it my goal to reach rank 4 before. Never again.
@Alice_pbg said:
Why 4?
To see if I could get in the reds with a side that I will probably struggle with. It's refreshing, but god awful at the same time.

I gotta tell you, you’re wrong here, his speed add ons give him an anti-loop power, you don’t always have to be right behind them to saw them and he only relies on survivor mistakes if the bubba doesn’t know what he is doing.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/682711#Comment_682711
His map pressure is the same as a lot of killers.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/682707#Comment_682707
I will say that I’ve always wondered why billy has no cooldown for putting a saw away but yet LF does.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/682697#Comment_682697
Fun is subjective though and I find LF fun. I actually use a variety of builds and rarely use the perks you mentioned, you can still get multiple survivors but you gotta time it right and if they have bt then you should hope you get there sooner.
A lot of killers have the same map pressure as LF but opinions are opinions I guess.
Stats show that clown is the worst killer, and imo LF is actually really good.
Really good compared to Clown in my opinion. Legion is worse.
-
I honestly have to disagree. Many of these killers have similarities, not so much repeats, but something that makes them unique in their self. For example, a loop that takes a while for the killer to get "around the world" back to the pallet, Demogorgons lunge really punishes bad timing and bad predicting.
GhostFace? Like really they couldn't have done anything else because they both stalk. Myers always has that inter frenzy to kill Laurie and stalk her to death and then GhostFace, stalking whoever he pleases is at the right time and right moment. There really isn't much of a difference between personalities based on their murder technics.
One thing I have to give to you is the repetitiveness of teleporting, oof yes.
-
It takes him a while to go through and scavenge survivors, which takes many killers a while to figure out and get a down. He has 0 map pressure that by the time the killer catches someone, 3 gens or more should be getting pumped. It takes him a while to charge his chainsaw, his kit is just overshadowed and outdated compared to newer killers.
Billy does his job much better, GhostFace and Myers do his one-shot much better, and he has the worst map pressure in the game. No his not bad, he's terrifyingly crap.
-
I'm pretty sure nothing except for maybe hacking can get you banned off KYF, might be incorrect though about it. DC'ing can certainly not get you banned at all, not even abusing bugs because KYF doesn't count towards really anything significant, like bloodpoints.
-
Agreed. Rushing out of a locker for a momentarily meme stun is not worth the perk slot because of the exhaustion. Remove it and add seconds to it.

...when the unhooker unhooks you in TR, hides and leaves you alone. Instead you should blame your team mate for 2 things:
1. Unhooking in TR instead of waiting a little bit (I usually leave the area within 10 seconds as killer)
2. Hiding after unhooking instead of getting the attention of the killer so he has at least a choice
Usually, I come back to the hook and only see that poor guy who got unhooked running for his life. I usually look for the unhooker, but they hide. So what should I do? There is no choice but going for the only survivor I can see. Give me the choice not to "tunnel" and I will happily go for the unhooker. But don't complain in endgame chat when you hide as Blendette after every unhook about tunneling.
Just to clarify that, because many don't understand that.
Its also frustating as solo survivor. Dear unhooker, ffs... Offer yourself to the killer after unhooking me when he comes back instead if hiding in a bush. How can we win as a team when you don't give the killer a choice but to tunnel the same guy over and over again. Can't you see that we all have a better chance when everyone got hooked but it's still 4vs1 instead of only 1 person gets hooked but it's a 3v1?
Agreed, but the killer also has a subconscious to possibly not tunnel. It's just the players, blame either.
-
They should be reworked to applying to all or more than one by category. They really clutter my offering inventory
-
Sorta, but I would prefer this guy:
-
I usually jump and shake for a few seconds. It's cool being scared.
-
I would prefer this guy than anything.
-
Dead Hard, Kindred, Leader/Prove Thyself, Decisive Strike.

there were many complaints about the servers, highly doubt and hope they don't.

Happy bday

The only change I want to see is that the DS gets deactivated when another survivor gets downed + hooked after the DS user got unhooked. Make DS an anti-tunnel perk, not a 60-seconds-immunity perk.
Definitely agree, but it should be deactivated when another survivor is "picked up". It would bring the solution to tunneling DS and the survivors being super close to the killers terror radius just for their DS to go off. I can see when someone is being downed outside the previous persons unhook, then that would make sense of some sorts. I just think if you're really in the killers terror radius, it could easily be abused.
Why not enforcing the killer to pick someone else up, that's when it goes off?

Many of the people who like Stranger Things are normies.... Like me. I don't think an ordinary fanatic of the show like me would go for gears 5 or bl3 instead of their beloved show.

Do you admit still to be gen-rushed though? They're many factors, yes, but those factors can't be put against you. Good guide though, will be bookmarking it.

Excellent lack of reading before you post and reading C O M P R E H E N S I O N
You're literally complaining about Inner Strength, which is directly associated with DS because of the combo. Your issue is not an issue if you simply don't tunnel, what a guy. Why just sit there in front of the locker and wait for DS? Why waste your valuable minute in the first place? Who cares if they're invincible, you're deliberately making the game worse for everyone because of your selfish gamestyle.
Keep telling me more, I'm interested.
-
@BlueFang said:
With the upcoming release of Inner Strength I believe the time has come to look into Decisive Strike working when survivors get into lockers. Because if nothing changes survivors can just hop into a locker in front view of the killer and be essentially invincible, if you leave them they'll heal to full, if you pull them out you'll get stunned
At this day and age, you would be silly not to expect DS and continuously tunnel one survivor. What's the plan?

Hello there, i am mainly a killer main, however i play survivor pretty often as well.
So today i went against a three-man SWF and i was the one that wasn't. Let's skip to the end game, i 99% the exit gate and some guy was hooked. The Huntress had NOED so i could not go for the save and i could not see the totem, the Nea opened the gate and she escaped me aswell. After the game the trio literally got salty over me for not saving their friend. Saying things i was a disgrace to this world, that I should quit the game because i "suck". I laughed it off saying they're probably some kids that have nothing else to do than salt in the end game chat.
Does this happen to you aswell? 🤔
What are you talking about? It's the forums and the game. You killer mains also get really salty. It's a forum and game, people don't like what they see and big deal. Get over it.
-
Not so much as the mechanic is broken because of other things, no, it's because some killers just can't be played.
-
Not really, some players like me get confused with where and what I have to aim at to get the perfect hit. More of a QoL change if anything.

I love running Iron will, Vigil, Dead Hard and DS on my jake :)

I don't know man, I've never seen that thing in my life. Big arm, toasted lava, king's head. Which is that character? You must be hacking and those add-ons, did you hack the team and put your own ideas in there?

Yeah, but in-game DC's and perks are real in-game issues. You're the most salty if in case anyone is, it's just irritating to hear someone cry over obvious facts.

Freddy, pretty sure he has the longest m1 reach in the game and it's satisfying when you get the hit with the point of the claw, and then when he swipes the claws together, too good.

Just 1 is nothing. We need more paid skins. Can't support the devs otherwise
It's gonna take a very long time since it's a licensed so better get an agreement now
Survivors have just 1 outfit also, what's with the complaining? We got more than enough.
-
Look away and grab my laptop, open youtube/netflix or scroll through forums.

I don't think Shred needs to be changed or touched, it's perfectly good and nice.
I suggest:
Portals:
• Has 6 portals in total, but each time he places one, another one not costing a single portal is made parallel across the map. (This would theoretically be increasing it's portals to 12, but 6 of them are out of his control).
• He can replace his portals anytime, doesn't matter if you're on a portal and consume one, no, just like the Hag.
This would make him super high B Tier or mid/low A tier, where it should be.

Ebony Mori's are not fine in the least, it's really hard not to be hooked at least once, unless you're Zubat, but. Listen, Ebony's are a pain to go against because they guarantee a de-pip/safety on a survivor basically, and when a killer looks like his going to get a 4k, closed hatch, and it doesn't matter a bit because the survivor opened the hatch.

So i heard from multiple people and alot of dbd tubers that theres an infinite loop (also to many pallets but thats for a different thread) if you have balanced landing where the 3 pallets are
can any ptbers can confirm this and if this is true does it need to be subject to change?
It's because of the use of Balanced Landing. It creates so much distance it's amazing. Listen, for example, a survivor normally takes a while to recover from a fall, Balanced fixes that letting the survivor to jump down even when it is on cooldown. In short, Balance Landing is great at creating loops but, it can be easily countered by Bamboozle.
-
Yeah, it's quite a life saver and I'm thankful that BHVR has it.

- Demogorgon's Lunge now applies deep wounds and can't down survivors.
- His movement speed is now as slow as Huntress.
- Once his portals are broken they can not be replaced"
- Lunge has a 60 second cooldown
(DELETED) I'm an illiterate trash-can, sorry BHVR. No, Demogorgons Lunge shouldn't apply deep wounds, would make it useless in most circumstances only to catch up, just no. His movement speed is fine or put it at 110.
"Once it's portals are broken they cannot be replaced" No, this is ridiculous. I see your reasoning behind it, but the Demogorgon would appreciate being able to replace it's traps instead of not having them ever again.
"Lunge has a 60s cooldown" Maybe, too soon to see if people will not be completely silly and run in a straight line.

@mistar_z said:
Too early to know if shes top tier yet. But she is definitely better than most of the killer. She's stronger in chases than Pig because the pounce is powerful on safe loops, where pig can only use her ambush on some unsafe loops.
The portal gives her pressure, wheres pigs traps meanwhile buys her time.
Would say around Myers ish,
Sorry but it's an "IT" short for Entity, genderless. Plus, to think it's a girl FeelsWeirdMan. Other than that, I think people are being unfair. It is either better than Hag, super close to Freddy or a little weaker than Hag. Either way, it's better than most and Huntress isn't an exception. Going to be a really good purple, mediocre/ok in red.
