Steve is more badass. Jonathan came out of nowhere and got into a successful relationship with Nancy, but in S1, Steve and Nancy were a couple. Seeing how close Jonathan and Quentin would look in-game, it would look weird to say the least. Plus, Steve is beloved by the whole community for his personality. Right choice, right time.
-
yeah sorry, that's not Neflix's cup of tea and neither is it many people like me. Idea is great, but the focus should be the upcoming content because there is hype around it.

Trapper, Nea and Steve.

I saw on Twitter the PTB will probably be on the 10th and the official release to be on the 24th. feelsbadman 😩
This is so logically wrong- why make a blood point event throughout the 5th to the 9th and not have it out the following day? It hasn't changed in the files, so why would it change right now. No, that makes no logical sense. It will be out this week probably, maybe not tomorrow but Thursday.
Keep an eye on the files, if something doesn't change you should be rest assured that nothing will change and we will be getting the DLC live on the 10th.

Maybe not ruin in it's full form, but something like it would be excellent. I see ruin as a band-aid and a useless perk slot used to make the game enjoyable and longer. Please!
-
Pretty sure what BHVR says about perks is a lie, been disproven by some twitch streamers b4. Even if it were like that, prestige is really only for the dedicated or the ones who like the aesthetic of human blood on their chest.
-
so uh, wanna make me something? Haha, just joking! Man does this looks great. How much effort was put into this comic? It looks really amazing and the images are self-explanatory without the text. It makes sense and there's correlation. Nice artwork!
-
2 and 7 sounds more reasonable than 2 and 8. Every survivor there is, the more difficult it gets for them.
-
devotion lock sounds amazing.
-
demogorgon sounds good. Although I adore the show, it would be more friendly

Dedicated Servers were scheduled to be implemented at some point during the summer - an exact date was never given, summer doesn't end until 23rd September so there is still plenty of time.
Considering that there's not even a quarter left of summer and no date or ETA has been given, I highly doubt that your last comment "plenty of time" will result in anything. Hope? Yes, but just get it right. I think the importance is in getting it right, not rushing it due to player base demandment.
-
People don't recognize the effort to make this asymmetrical game balanced. It's nearly impossible to make everyone happy, furthermore looking at FPS games like OW, these games including DBD keep adding on new content. Every time a game increases in character count especially when 9 perks are being added, it would be really hard to do so.
-
demogorgon. One of his perks look really good and m1 killers will enjoy from the vault negation. Not to say it's too good to miss out, but it's perks that you'll like to have in my opinion.

Wow quoting subreddits in another website such a savage omg lol, but I still don't understand how it's a joke
r/woosh is suppose to express sarcasm, I knew that it was announced. I literally said 50 seconds in one of my replies that I knew it was happening and I'm well acquainted with the news. Look no hard feelings, but It doesn't make sense if I don't quote it, making me look more like a goofball, haha.
I understand though, I'll stop. To the OP, I don't like term of "love" but I often enjoy how competitive and spine chilling a game can become, both sides being reasonably on the same level, no constant gen popping. That is what makes the game enjoyable for me.
-
I would like some reverse psychology there, PC is significantly easier to hit the checks. PS4 players f up a gen in red ranks every 25 seconds.
-
Either SCP 096, more fan service like Mr Chuckle Teeth or general community killer ideas. I think the ideas the community proposes could really work in this game, but they are overshadowed by companies and BHVR themselves. I think the inclusion of a fans idea for a survivor or killer would be excellent.
-
It does need a buff since it's not really a nuisance when the idea is that it's suppose to be in the survivors mind constantly.

Sorry if I’m getting whooshed but Stranger things chapter was announced.
Just joking! Yeah I've been hyped for it. I speculated the obvious a month ago with one of my Stranger things theory. 50s into the tweet, looked at my phone and ran away from lunch to listen.

Oh seriously? I didn't know.
-
The Demogorgon because Netflix probably wants max exposure and recognition to both sides, make it easily understandable, even if the model is obvious that it's from the show.
-
I don't really love anything about this boring game. They refuse to add Stranger things as a chapter, like it would be excellent to add, but I guess they don't want to capitalize on season 3.

Only Thrill of The Hunt lets Killers know when a dull totem or Hex totem has been destroyed or is actively being cleansed.
Thanks, I'm always getting creeped out by the sound of breaking dull totems, kinda is the reason I refuse to break them in the first place.
-
Why run it anyway? To de-rank and be an absolute prick to your team, yeah. I'm not directing this to anyone, so please don't get mad at me. I agree though, this sounds really out of place.
-
Your teammate probably got pissed off but... Don't worry about it, mistakes are mistakes. Mistakes aren't something to warrant a suspension in most cases, and if there is, it's super serious. Sounds like you're new, Welcome to the community and game! I hope you enjoy your stay with us!

Warning. Nancy doesn't have an Ice-Cream outfit, like Steve and his "Scoops Ahoy!" uniform does. do you still wish to continue with that choice?
Yes. I find Nancy hot also, so 😂
-
I was excited about the demogorgon but then I thought "I could be nancy instead" In 1 day and a half, I've grown 460k bp.
-
August 27th and live being 10th of September. It's not for certain but I'm 99% confident in those numbers. Supposedly, we have a blood point event that was found in the files but, it would just seem the most ideal.
-
the killer perks are better executed and are strong and decent in the current meta. Demogorgon will be good, mid high tier at best. Viable at high purple ranks and low red. I don't see your argument that has 0 reason why you lean towards your personal view on it.

Forcing you to do something you don't have to do to escape and dodge a broken perk is just not the way to go about things.
These "kill totems perks" and NOED are both trash perks who shouldnt exist.
I expressed that point. It's a band-aid fix, not something worth while. You should read the full hearted text before replying but I agree.
-
The game is inherently forcing you to break totems for your own benefit the perks are just trying to make the mechanics and things that both sides abuse better, you can say. Either way, I don't think you understand where the hype came from. It's mostly because of the amount of players DBD can obtain from this chapter and it just makes the game increase in popularity. This is an excellent execution to bring new players and temporarily band-aid other things.
Can't please everyone, but I can see your point.

If a killer doesn't leave that area than survivors shouldn't really be downed. The perk definitely isn't to strong. The point is, good survivors will force the killer away from the 3 gens to be downed by the killer. 32 meters isn't bad, but it's not that large either.
It sure is large enough to cover 3 generators in the majority of all situations. The same thing can be said about a killer, a smart killer will sustain that 1 area. Like @Jdsgames said, it's very RNG based but it also consists in counterplaying the enemy. I respect your opinion, but I think it's really strong because m2 killers will make use of this and make them much scarier.

It's going to be a good perk. Though if survivors 3 gen themselves, they just need to run away from the gens. Shouldn't be that hard.
You're underestimating how large 32m can be. Apart from that, no killer in that situation will leave the area if they possess the perk, it wouldn't make sense to use a perk and unconsciously go for a survivor at the other end of the map. It just like doesn't add up. If you're going to run this perk, you're relying on survivor mistakes and freeing yourself time early and mid-game. It will be scary good until otherwise. This wouldn't be used alone either, it will become greater with combinations of other perks.
-
Surge is going to be disgusting, like seriously scary. If a killer tricks the survivors into 3 gening themselves, it's going to be really hard to finish. The killer doesn't need to rely on going back and forth, since they now can assure a down and still be safe. Perks like Thrilling Tremors, PGTW (possibly, if the survivor touches the gen) -37% and Surveillance.
It's going to be a strong meta perk, especially making mid-tier killers like Trapper not worry as much. Cruel Confinement will be perfect for annoying survivors who complete the final gen in front of you or whichever in general, it will be devastating. You can get at least 1 or 2 downs from it, 2 if you're exceptionally lucky.
Mindbreaker is not weak, people are getting the wrong impression. While it can become niche in many situations, taking the chance is definitely worth it. I see it being a mid-tier perk.
-
scp 096 would be very possible
-
I vouch for it even being a survivor main

I agree but still that is a cause for concern as it feels that was not taken into account when designing
Being concerned for something that isn't even out for the public to use is silly. Take it with a grain of salt, we will talk about it later if the perk is what we hear it is.
-
Corrupt Intervention - Jesus, slows the game down so much for 120 seconds that it's hard to pass up. Enduring and Spirit fury are great.
-
Games don't need to reflect reality, in fact. Game mechanic > reality is often what happens. I'm sure you will be able to blind the demogorgon and the demo-dogs if they come through some day.
-
I've learned to accept killer tunneling and camping and keep my feelings to myself, although in short I find it absurd and silly, though I know they have their reasons.

I saw a Nancy fan made perk exactly like the one gen obsessed perk mentioned here. I doubt that they would just lift it.
Plus Babysitter seems like a theme of all fan made Steve perks. I think it's fake news
This takes more than a week to do. To make sure everything's ok, they need at least a week or 2 before initial announcement. It would be too time consuming and too unrealistic that they added it soon after the fan-made concept was released, nearly being a week ago.
-
They are addressing these things soon, they also said they would diminish the grind in the bloodweb. The game can get tiring and I vouch for that ideation. As a long time player, it can get boring and exhausting at times. I think though as a new player, you need to learn that this game does make perks important and you would be putting yourself at a significant disadvantage against people with the "meta". Either way, I hope you find a comfortable chair if you decide to keep playing. You're welcome into our community and many other newcomers!
-
Distortion. It's the best perk to identify the killers perk. It's super underrated. You can get a max of what? Like 3 or 5 tokens? Either way, you need to pay attention to your perk hotbar, when it loses a token it will give you enough information to determine if the killer has barbecue, bitter or even sets off when nurses calling is in play. It's great to avoid the killer, you are basically applying an uno reverse card being able to hide every time you're in his/her terror radius with major success.
Bond is excellent. You'll know when a player is getting chased because not many people fast vault on their own, furthermore when they're not even in the killers terror radius. From that, you can make a safe assumption, allowing you to either get on a totem or a generator. It's great!
I know people will hate me for this, but you should really consider DS. Killers who camp and tunnel are inevitable and if you want to give yourself a chance against a fairly common group, definitely pick it up.
Last but not least, something like SC or Dead Hard are equally allowing you to either get you out of a chase or be on your own. SC might be a waste if you use bond though.
-
It would have, but Nancy and Steve have gained enough hype up to this point to have a good fanbase. This update was more of a "gaining players" update and either way it looks great. I couldn't care less but sure, it would have been nice.

also yeah xenomorph in dbd would be really ######### amazing and is a possible now that we finally broke the "only human killers" rule, that would be combining my favorite game with my all time favorite movie
Still with this misconception. Totally agree with you but the rule was "humanoid". The demogorgon has human bones and they didn't need to make a whole new skeleton for it. Skeletons cost money, if it has basic human qualities it is classified as "humanoid", therefore using the same skeleton to build upon on. It costs money to make a good and healthy skeleton.
To the Xenomorph, they would need to add some things but it still classifies as "humanoid". Just clearing up it's always been humanoid, not specifically human.

I dunno about others, but I usually forget to ready up while I'm eating or doing some other stuff while waiting. Being alt+tabbed with long queues does that sometimes.
Same and to the OP; If you waited for the lobby to show up finally, you should really be able to withstand another minute> I'm on console also, many of us go downstairs to get something and are back when the match started or we are looking at our laptops next to us and don't care. Just remember this and learn this; I dislike this a lot but, what you think, doesn't revolve around the other players, or impatience.
It's the sad truth, but I fully and throughly understand your side.
-
Insta heals and Ebony's both need to go, or made a insanely new rarity that only appears in someones blood web once per prestige and a half. This would make them both extremely rare to get, or just remove them.
Something has to be done to keys.
