I think they’re not fine, but not in the way you think. They shouldn’t be overpowered, but neither should they be super easy to find.
I’m glad they’re reworking maps because it benefits totem spawns, and the older maps have horrible totem spawns. I feel for killer mains, especially when I can see it from miles away.
-
They don't care and neither do I. You were never guaranteed it was a 1-time item only. There was never an indication it couldn't come back. Maybe you paid for it, maybe you worked for it. Life's unfair man, deal with it and stroll on.

None of them, thanks.
Stop being grumpy, it's a fun thread. Neither do we want to hear someone being so disclosed because of their disliking. Try opening up your world, man! It's a lot of fun to speculate and just to be as positive as you want even if you had no intention in it. Have a nice day!
-
Where is "I couldn't care less"
-
I decided to really just roam around on the forums, comment and stop playing. Focusing on studying, playing American football and chilling with friends are much better than your attachment, (which used to happen to me so often during a day, just referring to your attachment as a day in my life in DBD).
Nevertheless, once they release that GhostFace outfit, I'll come back. Good luck all!
-
I matured too soon. (I know it's for everybody) stopped feeling the Halloween spirit at 12. Yeah....
-
I disagree. I find myself coming back every month and a half for no more than 3 weeks. I think the lack of attention towards newer and more refreshing gameplay is needed and that it's in high-demand. I would love to see some new game modes to modify the core gameplay.

The event comes out tomorrow lol.

I define toxicity as in "You're a toxic player if you envy or if you are in disbelief that you got outplayed or outspoken for your own benefit or enjoyment to bring down your opposite, your opponent".

A dumpster of L's

I just think it's BOOORING. Happy for the people who are entertained by it and can't wait to grind it out. Good luck to you guys!
-
She still avoids the survivors main source of defense: Pallets. A good Nurse will have no issue because you're still easily working around the survivors main defenses and what they can do to lose line-of-sight with you.
-
STBFL is not strong? ok bro.
-
Billy is strong, but he's far from OP. Many like me consider him 'balanced'. With all do respect, it sounds you're weak at looping and predicting your enemies following footing and mindset.

DBD is turning too much into comedy - come on people, devs, it is a horror game, Friday 13th seems more horror base now then this....you made a bad choice with this Myers cosmetic and made him as buff as a rugby player. -.-
I don't think so, though I see your point.

Which GhostFace is silly? And keep in mind Danny is a GhostFace unique to DBD. His in game lore doesn't sound like a goofball to me.
Ghostface is sneaky, funny and suspenseful. A parody that was owned by FunWorld I'm pretty sure makes the possibility even wider than ever. Both worlds don't trespass, but the parody was both funny and critiquing GhostFace enough to the point where people laughed. He's an iconic character in horror and no matter how evil or the murderous personality he has, he's still human and susceptible to f ups and goof moments.

To be fair, outfits are meant to fit with the lore of a character. In The Clown's case, he's a circus entertainer. It's not unreasonable for him to have worn a mascot outfit at some point in his life.
And now I'll go back to lurking in the shadows.
To be fair, Ghostface is silly on his own and the mask being part of a "funny critique" Scary Movie series is more than enough to justify the mask. It wouldn't be unreasonable for a regular goofball that slip and falls and trips to have one of his iconic masks. It's in GhostFace nature, his human and one of expressions happens to be that specific face.

Any tactic is valid, it's just tiring to go against.

It does not fit with the tone of the game at all.
Also, this is maybe "fun" for 5 minutes, it gets old really quick. And what we have then? A game that is closer to Hello Kity then a Horror game.
Dont ask for stuff you might regret on the long run.
The April fools idea is good tho, as long as it is gone right after that day.
Your argument is invalid and has been disproven before because of the fact that they're adding this skin later in the year. They and others really couldn't care less if it's associated with the genre in the least.

He has 1 hit downs. Stalking is way faster than with Myers. And its unlimited, survivors never run out of juice for him.
He's like a combo of pig, wraith, myers.
I need your help Theoretical: I'm running this on my GhostFace: Discordance, Pop, Enduring and Shadowborn. Is this a bad build?
-
Ghostface can literally stalk you constantly per game. He can crouch and get away while someones looking at you. That's awareness and good reaction time. On the other hand though, a competent and good team will totally destroy you and you won't be able to stalk and will be a m2 killer that has a knife and looks life a goof.
-
I know many people like their ability, but I personally don't and would rather they rework an entirely new power when they have the chance.
-
change MoM to 6 tokens and we good

killers have to deal with rubber band servers and nurse nerfs no they should and wont alter moris which are fine anyway @Peanits please close pointless thread thx.
I'm not trying to get into your grill, respecting your space, but do you have a better idea or a better way to balance them for people who think they might not be at the best spot? Thanks! Open to other suggestions.
-
Teammates. Without teammates, you're not diminishing the possible time from the generators. Teammates are lethal! If one teammate knows how to loop well, they can be vital for the outcome of the game on the survivors side.
-
Rules are subjective. I'm not going to answer because it's ridiculous for me to answer something that some might find right, and some might find wrong.

Break the pallet. (Killer main)
Oh yeah, good point. Still, would this cut loops on loops which can be mindgamed for both?
-
Adrenaline, Unbreakable, Dead Hard and Decisive Strike is probably the most favored.
-
It's constructive enough. If the guy were to think for the other side (ie; survivors) he would see how ridiculous this would be. It would buff camping, it would buff tunneling.

So wait anywhere from 60/40/30 seconds essentially? That's an incredibly huge time waster even worse than just taking the stun
Remind me how is it my fault that I "tunneled" when the survivor is working on a almost finished gen while I was on the other side of the map
Extend decisive strike to 2 minutes I don't frigging care, it should not work in lockers I should able to punish the survivor for making such a mistake the fact I can't because of one perk well, there's nothing else I can say
Decisive Strike is a crutch
What are you talking about? I literally provided you a valid, constant working strategy to prevent it.
-
Because people think that they know everything. It's simple.

You guys are like an answering machine and just endlessly repeat the same thing over and over again. Enlighten me on how any situation I can bring up is tunneling?
You're getting one answer... it's really the only justified one. Just wait out the decisive strike or bait a head on. It really isn't hard to not tunnel.

If you only want to play Spirit I could say the same to you. Maybe you should play a different game.
LOL imagine thinking that you need to work for your kills as spirit and finding it difficult.
Sorry Mochan, today you just sound like a complete jerk. Every killer has to work someway, shape or form for their kills.

...that’s still 10 dollars. When 4.99 = 500 cells, that’s still 10 bucks. Purples should be 500 cells.
It is, but that's not the point i'm trying to make. You'd still be able to get something else than an epic outfit.
-
Epic/Purple outfits should not cost 10 bucks. It should cost 800-900 auric cells.
-
The influx in map knowledge and accessible perks throughout a survivors gametime will increase, and as such, killers will have their difficulty increased by more than half because of the skill ceiling survivors have gotten to. The ranks they usually get their organized map awareness is around mid-green ranks. Ie; (Rank11-10).
-
While I don't agree in the fullest, I can see what you're trying to get at. The developers usually don't really care about our final opinion and take what they did at first for granted. Later on, it becomes a global issue in the community. You'd think that they would take more of an advantage over such a great tool as the "PTB" to unit the train of thoughts and balancing ideas of the community and the core devs.

In my experience console has been significantly easier than PC, on both sides. Red ranks on console feels like purple ranks on PC to me. I almost never get survivors who can run me for a long time on console, even at red ranks; but on PC it is standard for a red rank lobby to have some good loopers in it.
Here we go, back to the Overwatch mentality that because one console is more limited than the other a GrandMaster PS4 player is a Plat on PC. Give me a break.
No, the players have the mindset and game-sense just like any other red rank player on PC. What makes his substantially easier is the killers they're facing, and that they're limited by controls. Being limited doesn't inherently mean that one side couldn't perform against the other. That's silly!

That's what I wanted to hear. Do you feel it's a nice alternative to Ruin? I do not have that perk unlocked and to be honest, I probably wouldn't use to anyway since when I play as a survivor I always seems to find that totem quickly and I know it would happen to me as a killer.
Combo's like Discordance/Pop are great and is a reliable non-hex strategy/combo.
-
Pop goes the weasel is hands down the second best gen stopping perk in the game. If the survivors are super weird and not the brightest, they'll go down like flies and a gen that was 90%, could suddenly become 0%.
-
3rd best, imo. Spirit and Billy are better.
-
You just need to trap the Shack window. Furthermore, don't trap pallets, trap the small part of the loop like this. (Amazing drawer btw, next Picasso)
-----
(Pallet here)
I I
I I
-----
The --- part is where you should. Basically at the climax of the loop, where they are going to the other side is where you should trap. They won't expect it. Survivors usually bet on it that if it's not on the pallet or window, it's nowhere. Also, in a jungle gym with a window, trap the corners of the super safe pallet side, so that when they're backing up towards the window to leave, they're instead trapped.
-
Rin... I know you're a great commenter and a great player, but I cannot express how bias you sound. Respected though! Gotta keep our mains in check.
-
I'm in red ranks for both sides. I see that red rank survivor games are much more frustrating because everyone has such an ego that they made it this far, they make it seem like teamwork is subjective for the game to win, but to outperform the other side. Killer games are much more frustrating in the sense that competent survivors will often ruin your day, unless your LIVE Nurse and Spirit.
-
Because Adam is going to send you to the principles office. 👿
-
The internet could of course be kinder, there is always space for more neutral and positive feedback around the DBD and internet globe. I find it atrocious and dis-heartening that people talk so poorly about others. You and all of us need to acknowledge though, you're playing with and should expect random, hurtful comments from people you don't know.
If the harassment has gone too far, please report them and talk to a DBD staff to see what they can do.
-
Size matters a lot for killers. The plague often has half of her body exposed while looping, the hag and pig are different in the sense that they're smaller. In difference, survivors really only have a difficulty with their own POV.
