Wait an extra second before slashing, don't tunnel off hook, follow blood, look away or Lightborn. Key is like Mori. Nothing you can do.
Is there a way I can dodge you, since you don't want to play any games anyways?
-
Solo hinges soley on your own personal feedback. If you have a whole team of people who can loop and make conscious decisions about how to approach a situation, it's no different from swf.

And on this episode of "Opinions being stated as facts" we have this dude! Give him a big round of applause! Hes totally right! Its not like the devs acknowledged him as an official possibility, it's not like he got popular for an entirely different reason. It's definitely this guys massive oversimplification of a character!
"Entirely different reasons"
Ok Fortnight and flossing. He's up there with Springtrap in the pantheon of lame killers.
Really, his power is to not look at him? He's Spinechill the Killer lolol.
-
Slenderman is a stupid meme. He's /x/ crossed with anonymous. Spooky woods man.
Only gained ground becuase those girls decided to murder their friend and wanted a cheap scapegoat that wasn't Rick Astley.
-
Once all killers are nerfed then they'll be forced to nerf survivors.
*Points at head*

really? so every killer ever lags? Ive got 40 ping each game according to the menu screen
Servers aren't just your ping, it's everyone elses as well. It's why yellow ping is an unplayable circus now compared to p2p days.
I have green ping every game and had shadow hits or rubber banding randomly pop up.
-
There's a reason insta-heal was removed from medkits my guy.
Besides, FTP works really well with Resiliance and Dead Hard.
-
Lag plain and simple.
-
Don't think about the mending. The point is injury.
Keep them injured.
If they decide to forget about healing, you'll start running into one hit down meat bags ready to be hooked. If not, they're spending the game healing instead of gens.

You can tunnel with the most killers someone to death. All what is necessary for it, is the will of the killer for it.
Also people left dbd for a variety of reasons. DBD would still be alive, if the old Legion would exist, I bet.
I have good memories on those times. Even if I was a Legion main to that time, my endgame chat was always either quiet, or full of nice people. I had even make screenshots of it, for the case if someone would doubt this.
The Legion itself was not a strong killer. What strong was, were the exploits and a not even a handful of addons. I still have opinion - if addons are a problem -> the addons should be nerfed and I think nobody would have complain about that, besides maybe some streamers, because then they would not be able anymore to show a op Legion^^.
Ok, but do people tunnel the same person to death when their ability works muuuuch better if they spread out? The answer was absolutely yes because they wouldn't spread out when their ability TOLD them there were more people nearby but still managed to be willfully ignorant.
DBD is dead? Could've fooled me. This more Billy crying? I'm going to play the ######### outta the chainsaw bros when they drop. I actually bought The Cannibal over a year ago. Clearly I have brain problems for doing that because he low tier keelir.
And how do you define strong killer? Cheap? Broken? Someone with a low skill ceiling who can dumb their way into a 4k?
-
Old Legion also crashed the game. People weren't quitting, the game would ######### crash. Also people were quitting because he tunneled you to death. Soooo fuuuun.
Though I admit, I do miss how FAST he was.
And how is knowing where literally every survivor is hiding and taking off a health state not a good ability? That's the trade off for all the conditions. You can get max points in every game and thats before killing a single person.

Agreed, but my point is that the addon should be changed in something else and I was thinking adding bloodtrails to her power would make up for the huge gap of not being able to hear the survivor.
The only counter to her ability currently is to either have an ability that erases scratch marks so you can run away while phasing and hope she doesn't hear you grunting in pain (which is what they're really looking for), or predict where she'll attack from which is impossible because zero feedback.
The most efficient way to play her is injure first, then phase into an easy down. Seeing blood tracks as a base ability is no different then using headphones. It leads you straight to them regardless of any input on the survivors part. Only one perk erases bloodstains and it works only once. There's a reason it's an irredescent add-on.
-
She already has an add-on where she can see bloodtrails.
Just remove sound while phasing and she'll be golden. Hearing people while they're injured and having a speed boost is too stacked.
-
Find survivor.
Throw bottles at him.
Continue throwing bottles at him.
The. Whole. Match.
Laugh forever.
-
They had a trial system with splinters, but thats gone. And kyf's is basically a testing grounds anyways.
-
There's nothing wrong with it.
Why are you asking for perfection from survivors? Any stupid killer can hit a stupid survivor. The skill ceiling doesn't start and stop at swf swat teams.
It gives a small boost, that can turn things in your favor, but more often than not it only delays the inevitable. After using it you're vulnerable again, and unlike every other exhaustion perk, you have to be injured. That means the killer making a beeline towards your trail of blood and exasperated wails.
-
Most people don't think about the game from a detatched perspective. It's all about their feelings and how they percieve things.
Mechanically the game should offer strengths AND weaknesses. Where those stats lie is the issue. The game is so mechanically simple though so any small change to the dynamic is magnified.
Then there's the psychology most bring to this game. If it doesn't immediately turn things in their favor, it's worthless. Or they absolutely refuse to bend to what they see as antagonistic. Ok you picked a side. But you're only the hero in your own story. Doesn't make you right about everything because you refuse to be flexible.
-
Pshh just hold the interact button and do all 5 gens in under a minute. SURVIVOR IS SO EASY.
-
But don't you guys love a random head that doesn't match any set?
-
Doesn't matter anyways? Green ranks get paired with Red. So the moment you hit Green you're basically Red.
-
It gives passive information about what the survivor or killer is using. Though that's the rare instance of when someone isn't running an obsession perk. Otherwise it's almost constantly in play regardless.
I think it's fine as is.
-
Lol, the denial.
He's getting the cooldown mechanic and he might actually have to use his basic attack once in awhile.
Oh the horror.
-
There are various uses for Feral Frenzy. Mainly for finding out where every person on the team is and keeping them injured. Survivors that don't heal are easy pickings.
Can also use it to quickly recover from a pallet drop or get an advantage in a bad loop. Just injure them if they're extra annoying, then find their friends.
Stabbing in FF depends on how good you are at regular attacks. If you don't fool easily, you'll get those chain stabs. Lunging also works in FF to great effect.
FF also allows you to use certain abilities to great effect. If you're running STBFL, you won't lose stacks from injuring the obsession with FF. Bamboozle also works with FF vaults.

Dedicated servers. Killer hasn't hosted the game in months now. Possibly over a year?
There is no game without a killer. They're your primary antagonist and motivation for your goals. They're hosting it.

I've never played Evil Within, but the killer kinda looks like Pyramid Head's oddball cousin. The survivor and map look cool tho.
Keeper is a Pyramid Head homage. There's even a scene that mirrors Silent Hill 2 where you fight 2 of them.
-
Just admit you want a game where you don't need a screen, just headphones.
Colorblind options never.

We already have a lot of Japanese themed characters already, and uhm... Anime is kinda childish anyways, who would take this as either a killer or survivor seriously.
Childish? All toys are made by adults for children. Animation is a medium that can have far reaching dramatic themes, and have very personal growth. Just look at how people are so passionate about Avatar.
Sturgeons law says 90 percent of everything is garbage. Maybe you haven't seen the good ones. One series that particularly stuck out in my head was Paranoia Agent. Man that was a trip.
-
Killer hosts the game and is 4 v 1. Survivors can do gens the [Bad Word] off with zero interaction.
No way are they nerfing killer blood gains. Nuh uh.
Edit: And it's cute you're correlating your own personal demands with net profits when people will buy cosmetics regardless because they want to look like bunnies or whatever no matter the state of the game.
-
The only thing terrible about Doc is when he tunnels you off the hook and you're insanity 3. That's just unfair dude. Otherwise locker diving when he static bursts is the strategy.
Freddy revolves around keeping yourself awake to deny his power, though you're oppressively in a constant loop of passively becoming asleep again. And actively asleep when he hits you. Though I wouldn't consider snares his best ability. Fake pallets will mess you up more.
Clown is defeated by running in a straight line. Both playing as and against, it's his achilles heel. Really ######### stupid.
-
People like streamers?
I thought they purposely went out of their way to make them miserable in game (which got its own term coined, stream sniping) because they're self entitled loudmouths with cult of personality sheeple backing them up.
Watch me be toxic montages on youtube.
I watched the 'just a little bit guy' and he was a #########. People look up to the guy.

Nerf Spirits ability to hear survivors while phasing.
Buff her ghost speed while phasing o_o

But you paired with another add on a purple one.
And that combo makes it an issue. They nerfed Freddy for using all chains for passively slowing the game to a crawl. It should have a hard cap for what it does. It's a free down at any pallet or window. And you got two more in the chamber.

I use it with PWYF, and STBFL. I call it the pinball.

Ermm how many hatchets when using instadown add on? Zero? Cuz limit its 1
With Infantry Belt it's 3.
Pro tip, they always pair it with Infantry Belt.
-
Imagine getting tunneled then camped to death by 2 killers while 5 of your friends leave without you.
-
Nemesis has a decent following now with a dynamically shifting obsession.
Deathbound is really nice with killers that like to wound.

I find it strange that you are against the first key being a dud because of it being a death sentence (it wouldn't be) but then somehow end up being in favor of a bunch of changes that WOULD make the RBT a death sentence.
Making the first box auto-fail would make it so the Trap at least guarantees some amount of stalling. One thing that can hurt the Pig a lot is when someone gets a Trap off at the first box.
Allowing the Traps to activate during the EGC means that a portion of her power doesn't suddenly shut off at a point in the game, like before the Endgame Collapse update. As long as you actually put safeguards in place to make sure it is still reasonable (primarily pausing the EGC timer), it shouldn't be a problem (not to mention, it would avoid those situations that are currently possible where you CAN have someone with an active Reverse Bear Trap during the Endgame Collapse).
First key guaranteed dud is just ludicrous. Imagine any other power with the same stipulation.
And if they make such a drastic changes as the ones I'd outlined, they'd need to readjust the timer regardless.
Having an active beartrap on your head at egc IS a death sentence. It guarantees you'll die if the Pig decides they want your bacon while you're trying to get your helmet off. Even moreso if multiple teammates also are all trapped. You're completely at the Pig's mercy because you happened to get NOED at the wrong time. Now they have multiple end game perks stacked all in their favor and with only minutes to react with barely any investment on the Pig's part. It's lazy.
I want it shifted to early game stalling. If it does make it all the way to the egc and they made no effort to work on their trap, they deserve to pop.
-
Gens need different skins. Make them harder to find. It's easy to spot a gen from across the level.
There's witchcraft and computer hacking you could do too. Survivors struggle to hold a seance for 120 seconds or something i dunno.
Would make perks like deja vu and maps more relevant too if you couldn't finds gens easily.
-
Most of my games come down to two gens left. It narrows the playing field. If they're feeling confident, they may stall to try and find totems and those gens will last awhile giving you time to hunt.
If your games are commonly too short, there's always NOED to punish them for gen jockeying.
Oh and you could also bring in all non-meta perks. If all else fails, you were screwing around anyways. Win win in my book.
-
Guys, the beartrap cannot be a death sentence. At least not a guaranteed one. What's all this 1st key is always a dud and egc activates the helmet nonsense? There's other ways the beartrap can have staying power.
Maybe make it a constant threat. Survivors spawn in with traps (like they do in the movie) and have to do additional side gens to power the jigsaw boxes. When Amanda slaps on a helmet, it's already powered and ticking down.
Or the helmet has to be deactivated multiple times to actually remove. Meaning all 4 boxes need to be interacted with in full.
Though the greatest buff she can get is "Hello Zepp" kicking in when the survivor has 30 seconds left.

After seeing Billy's UR addon which is basicly speed limiter 2.0, I'd hate to see what they give Huntress.
I'll make some up now.
Uhhh first one afflicts survivors with every status effect in the game.
And instead of insta-down hatchets she gets hitscan ones with zero windup. It'll be called hunting rifle. But it only has one shot before reload.
-
Every killer that messages me wants to farm.
Every survivor that messages me tells me to commit self death and that they had relations with my mother. They're also the chosen one and the sun while I'm some npc pothole in their path to greatness.
Well maybe you shouldn't have tried the window tech when I had bamboozle.
-
Wraith isn't getting touched. They have no reason to. He isn't triple s tier, but he's still a threat by good players.
Huntress on the otherhand is definitely getting another pink, and they'll probably do something to irredescent hatchets. Other than 1 hit hatchets, she's a fair killer.
-
Good thing gen grabbing is impossible. :) I was worried for a sec there.
-
What if they're not teabagging? Then it's a free hit and a down. And after 30 seconds of facecamping you could do it again till everyone is dead.
Special attacks too? Hoo boy. You really thirsty for that 4k. Paired with Blood Warden no doubt.
-
@Rivyn said:
Maybe I'm missing something, but what is 'two dimensional' hearing? What sound cue does she get that survivors don't?
Survivors getting vacuum noises and nothing else.
Spirit gets a speed boost, scratch marks, environmental cues, and injured survivor noises. Pretty much there's no escape or reaction. Only counter is iron will and walking a bit then standing still. But you're still bleeding and by then she's still on top of you. She's the invisible Nurse.
-
He's on point about player participation.
Spirit is boring because once you're injured she can just teleport over to your wounded noises. There's no mindgaming that.
Though I dsagree with the part about Billy. No one is going to not use a killers add-ons. Base kit is such a poor argument when it comes to killer powers.

Okay, then from the start of the trial there should be a notification status that NOED is active so that survivors are aware to actively cleanse dull totems.
Or, crazy thought, you just assume they always have NOED and not group together when heading for the exit.
It also stands to reason that if everyone on the team did 1 totem in a match, only 1 totem can possibly become NOED.
-
Wait, so you want a perk that is only active at the end of a game to be visible all game and able to be cleansed early?
You have the dumbs?
-
Dude, you just drag to the left or right for a basic attack. Lunge attacks hit the moment you make contact. We need less aim assist determining a hit. Ever whiff a hit when they're right in front of you because they did a little spin? That's exploiting the aim dressing.
