It's been said over and over, so what else can I add? But here it is anyways. The sweeping killer victim complex that permeates every single conversation is a result of the targeted efforts of coordinated squads bent on destroying the foundations of the game, and they're always let go with a slap on the wrist. Boys will be boys they say as they repeatedly mock and exploit every facet of the g8 comments 91 views last activity

Had a thought. Issues arise when more than one person has the same loadout, so why not play slots with those slots? Here's the idea. The player picks say 6 or 7 perks they'd like to bring, then the game randomly determines which four are brought into the trial. Duplicate loadouts are weighted against each other and swapped out if their configurations conflict. Thereby giving every player thei0 comments 11 views last activity

Y'know the one saying survivors can beat up killers. David got killed by a baby in the latest trailer. I repeat. A BABY. Oh I'm sorry. I'm not being Politically Correct here. He was rendered non living by a feetus deletus that is actually a 30 year old man who umm has his own drivers license and everything while his resting ######### face sister kinda watched. We all know killer sucks and has nothing innately in their advantage. To clarify, I mean going into a game, they only have what they brought with them. Their add-ons, their powers, their perks. No innate advantage other than if the level is killer sided. If they load into a level full of los blockers and loops that chain continuously into more and more pallets, and they didn't build for it, th4 comments 111 views last activity

Plz. The unmasked version is like having to buy a book that fills in the story between sequels. Why was it not outlined inside the source material? I don't know these people. They've never been released maskless as far as I know.0 comments 51 views last activity

Had a thought just now about how some games turn into a battle of attrition because of unlimited ability use. Wouldn't the game functionally be much better without functionally unlimited tools? Now take for example a survivor perk like Self Care. It has unlimited use and can potentially stall a game indefinitely if the killer is in a good enough position to defend, but not to take the offensive14 comments 1,111 views last activity

To professional swf bullshit I mean? I can't emulate any of it. I get every pallet thrown in my face as killer. Switch sides I get downed inside the two posts while mashing R1. If I even have the gaul to stand next to a pallet as survivor I get utterly ######### while they do it. Every. Time. I get looped around the hay baler and they stand on the raised drop. Spine Chill is by far the laziest perk in the game. You don't even need to look at your screen to know when a killer is coming. And it destroys any semblance of surprise. So it must be changed. Here's my solution: Make it detect when your aura is being revealed like when being stalked by Myers, exposed by Ghostface, spotted by BBQ and Chili, and a slew of other perks and add-ons. Alright, here are the rules: Pick a phobia, and create a killer and a survivor version of said phobia into a perk. One phobia per poster. Let's have some fun with this. Ornithophobia Killer: Survivors that disturb crows will be assaulted by them for 6/8/10 seconds every 40 seconds. While they are under attack, the survivor will suffer from action speed penalties. Don't you want to play as this handsome fellow? He both inspires you to be the best but also wants to crash the moon into the planet. Who wouldn't? He'll always be your Sempai even if you abandon him in the trial.4 comments 191 views last activity

There's 7 total. Why do the last 2 never get used? Seems like it'd alleviate certain "issues" with speedy survivors if they had to finish them all. Or hell, just add a world timer to the game. Doing more gens speeds up the counter for powering the exit gates. If too many are done too fast, the time bonus is lost resulting in needing additional gens. I dunno, just running with this idea. What if DBD was a situation comedy airing on a local television network at prime time? Give me your ideas! Meg: "David what did I tell you? No mithers in the house!" Ace chimes in: "No mither? Here's a thought. What if players killed by a mori could be revived? Here's how I picture it: 1, 2, 3 hooks, dead. That's base ruleset. But Mori's pretty much can skip 2 and 3. And Mori's are getting some sort of change amirite? So here's some bullet points on how it would go: Already mori'd survivors cannot be mori'd again in the same match. If the player is on death hook they cannot be rev11 comments 251 views last activity

It's up in the air so here we go. PH has a slew of problems from immediately murking people stuck in animations to not getting anyone afflicted with Torment so here's a few simple changes. When performing Punishment of the Damned, it will only spread the trenches created by Rites of Judgement. If the survivor is already Tormented, then PotD takes a health state away. We have a lot of threads asking for changes but what unpopular perks are just fine? Ex: Unrelenting: Miss a hit often? It's all good. Just try again. Deja Vu: This is your best friend on those confusing indoor levels.14 comments 111 views last activity

It's true. He can instantly down the entire team at the start of a match, patrol every gen non-stop, and is further enhanced by perks that also do the same thing. What other killer can do the same thing? Though that appears to be reason enough to keep things the way they are. Because there's a killer to counter it no? The upcoming rework will make him more humble. He'll have to manage his res56 comments 862 views last activity

More and more killer perks are only activated by basic attack, and every killer has a basic attack as well. So reason should stand that the game should be balanced around it, and not other methods of downing survivors. Discuss!0 comments 41 views last activity

if a killer were added that Mimic'd other survivors, how would they go about it? A displaced terror radius? Passive distrust meter they'd gradually need to refill or suffer debuffs? Mirrored levels? Mirrored movements? The ability to displace and shift survivor positions? Shuffle? What would shake apart a well oiled machine?2 comments 61 views last activity

Pretty tired of all this Billy talk so I figured I'd do something constructive. Now we all know not every killer should play the same, but regardless, they do need a few changes here and there to make them competitive. So here's my own list of musings I've constructed just now because I'm bored. Trapper: Only toolboxes can disable traps. Trap disarm noise can only be heard inside terror radi11 comments 161 views last activity

All this talk of tunneling got me thinkin. Why don't survivors respawn? The entity is displeased if you murder everyone off the bat, so why doesn't it do something about it like the end game collapse which is the only time it personally interferes in the trial? Now I know what you're thinking. I can barely get one person deaded, so why you heaping this mess on me now? Well, there'd be condit23 comments 351 views last activity

Do gens, kill survivors. Sometimes bones. Sigh. We already know all the cons that are associated with this current playstyle. Tunneling and camping are rewarded, as well as cheating in swf with comms. Game needs more dynamic objectives. As well as a different penalty system. Imagine getting 3 hooked but not removed from the game. Imagine your goal not revolving around a loading bar. Imag5 comments 41 views last activity

So how do we improve the killer experience? The killers main resource right now are gens and totems. Those are easily expendable when faced against vaults and loops. So how do we tackle those? Gens go by quick but that's a precarious system that can easily be tipped in one direction or the other. So should bloodlust activate consistently and automatically outside of chases? It would definitely1 comments 51 views last activity

Swf is thought to be a well-oiled machine.....but how about when it's not. "Follow me" "This is a dead end" "Not that way" "You're over here too" Killer was standing in the wedge and only means of escape. Half of us died. So we can gauge what constitutes as a weak killer. The way people talk about Plague or Legion you'd think the survivors loaded into the game running out the exit gate. I've already came up with a backstory. "His name is Joe Av Rage. One milquetoast day, he snapped and picked up his favorite wiffle bat. The death toll was in the negatives! The stranger choking on a croissant thanked Joe profuse3 comments 81 views last activity

Just thought of some possible synergy. MoM could see a big uptick in use. Someone gets downed right? The Mettle user blocks the killer twice, gets downed. That's two MoM charges right there. The FTP user equipped with an injured build instantly gets him back on his feet and retreats. Heals up the MoM user. Next time the MoM user hook saves, they get their last stack and there you go. So killers are basically different game modes seeing as how their powers bring in different approaches and strategies, but what if they finally did add in different game modes? What would you like to see? Inb4 2 killers 8 survivors. Imagine having 2 killers tunnel you to death with 7 survivors running out the door. ._. I'd like to see a one hit kill mode but with 4 lives each. Although they'd0 comments 21 views last activity

Haven't quite worked out all the details so suggestions are welcome. This has been thrown around quite a bit, but getting slugged sucks, so the simplest solution would be to be able to recover from it right? Not entirely as it wouldn't reward the killers effort in downing you and most logically there's little reason not to immediately hook someone aside from Decisive Strike woes. So here's th1 comments 41 views last activity

But only for gen speeds? It's been suggested before but was thinking mainly about how spreading out doesn't reward you. And killers have taken to tunneling one poor guy because if they can secure one kill then the rest fall easier. If you let that guy on the hook run off, there's no guarantee they won't just hop back on a gen. There are perks that reward being injured, and even more so when pai10 comments 71 views last activity

Said this before but time to make it official in feedback. So people say the Pig is a bit lacking, but her kit is far from underpowered. It's just the small details that need tuning, so here's my proposal. Two keys. Pig has an issue with people removing the trap too fast. Suggestions have ranged from removing RNG to more absurd methods. I feel mine is reasonable if not the best solution (until7 comments 31 views last activity

How would the game be balanced then? Most survivor abilities are based around scenarios that the killer is using their best and most broken abilities and perks, but what if every killer was at base a 2 hit down killer? Gens would definitely be slower. They'd calculate in that every encounter WILL be drawn out. Billy would still be top tier being able to instantly catch up to a survivor. Had a thought about perk use. Many games people will go in with the same loadout to great effect, but what if they had to switch it up once in awhile? It could be seen as punishing someone for doing well, but it is also safety for them being able to rely on one loadout for every situation. Why switch up your loadout if this one already works? And safety doesn't belong in a horror game. So h13 comments 251 views last activity
