Don't you know? If you can't instantly down everyone within the first minute of the game you're an F tier killer.
Now that the chainsaw brothers are toned down, and Huntress likely being next, they can finally get real numbers for gen speeds which is everyones real issue.
-
It's supposed to remove/relocate the cage from the area if PH tries doing it anyways.
-
Legion has two base characters (cosmetic). Frank and Julie.

Survivors are at a massive advantage in this game. I will do anything and everything to try to negate that advantage. It's my job as a killer to kill as many survivors as possible. I don't care how I do it. I won't play by the rulebook of survivors, I'm a killer. I'm supposed to be evil.
Coordinated survivor groups are at a massive advantage. Individuals are at a massive disadvantage. You see the conflict here?

People are whining reasonably however.
What's the point of disabling your opponents perks that you can't capitalize on? You're basically sending them away for a free save that you can do nothing about.
I get both of the changes, they make sense because the game needs to be fun. The devs said it on I believe the Chains of Hate chapter Q&A. But nerfing a below average killer without giving a buff? That's really confusing.
Free save? It's a free hook. All preventative abilities like flashlights or hook sabotage are completely negated.

There better be an add-on that allows Chainsaw Runs to persist through dropped pallets. Make it an Ultra Rare.
Only if they make his berserk mode more menacing. Being slightly faster than a survivors sprint speed is a joke.

Kinda wish some of those quirks carried over, like brief immunity from waking up, or being invisible with wall hacks and manually sleeping people.
Oh and the mori has not been the same. Invisible Freddy just ending you.
-
It's an instant hook. Like bruh it's seriously already powerful.
-
Sending people to the cage is basically a "not my problem anymore" ability. It keeps your momentum.
Anyone who thinks otherwise were already campers.
-
I wouldn't take the opinion of people that spend $3000 on hardware to run Minecraft that then run bot programs so they don't even need to play it as the word of god.
You have pinpoint accuracy and still need to aimbot? Kek. More liek PC Mustard race amirite?
-
Old ruin only benefitted bad killers against bad teams.
Mass exodus of killers? More like Darwinism.

I didn't say Face Camping Bubba wasn't terrible. YOU said "all billy and cannibal players are terrible people". Which is ridiculous.
Besides, I for one totally respect the Face camping Leatherface play. It's not much, but it's honest work.
No No no friend. I didn't mean terrible as bad. I meant terrible as they're all sociopaths incapable of human emotion and empathy.
-
Aftercare tells you who your friends are.
-
Always in an swf game too.
Oh you actually have an advantage? Aha, jk. Go ######### yourself.

This is the most ridiculous post I've seen all day.
Thank you. I try. It's a full time job being ridiculous for so many hours per day.
P.s. Tell me how face-camping Bubba isn't being terrible?
-
Billy and Cannibal don't have any. They're probably trying to work out how they're going to break the news he's eventually getting a add-on rework. Because all Billy and Cannibal players are all awful people. ๐ There will be riots.
-
I want a new status effect: crippled. You can recover to standing, but cannot run.
-
So all 4 BBQ stacks = mori?
They could also shorten the timer the hatch stays open equal to the key charge.
-
I find it wildly inconsistent. They'll get blinded immediately or never.
And as killer I've been getting blinded and not dropping the person I'm carrying.
-
Make it count towards hook counts but not count as a hook. They want an easy hook but all of the benefits from hooking as well? No.
No mori, no Dying Light, no anything.
Additionally automatic 10 seconds of immortality when uncaged because why not?

... 'just'? Hag rewrites the oldest trap placed; she may need to place ten new traps to overwrite the one an OoO saw her place, which considering trap placement time and movement time, can take a DbD-eternity of 60 seconds or more to actually put down a decent web. Even then she is relocating her traps to a place she doesn't want them, and the OoO sees that too, because they can literally surveil her 24/7 from a gen. Or a hook. Or the ground. So the Hag gains absolutely nothing. Fun counterplay.
The Hag's traps don't even give her a free M1 if survivors trigger them with perfect spacing like an OoO can, and they can normally only do this if they see the trap or its placement.
Huntress's 40 meter nondirectional lullaby does not equal 100 meter directional surveillance by an OoO.
"Trapper is hardcountered by something else, so it's fine if he's hardcountered by this too" is not an argument I'm accepting.
OoO is terrible for solos and broken cheese for SWFs that stamps on specific killers so hard they can barely play the game. It aggravates DbD's worst issues, like huge maps and toxicity. It is the single best example of a perk that needs to be reworked.
Hag can make her traps work without stealth. In fact the coverage is what makes her effective. Placing a trap in front of a hooked survivor means they're not running in, or away from the area. Same with a quick sign at a loop.
Huntress is mainly dangerous from her seeing 'you'. But the point was there is always a tell that she's nearby. So your buddy going "well she's coming over" is telling you jack that you didn't already know.
Not dismissing the effect on trapper. Just that it's part of an already long list of disadvantages he already has against swf.
Auras in general need a rework. Highlighting someone 1:1 with their exact location is too strong. They should all work like noise indicators. Briefly showing an area with the effect.
-
So uhh refocusing, if they do decide to gay up a few characters, whats the best approach to this?
Dwight is hipster trash. He'd make a perfect gay. All his pride outfits can come out the same day he does.
How about Jake? Naw, too obvious making the Asian guy gay or trans.
Nea is big gay. She already has the **** haircutsssssss.
Latina Oprah needs her own version of Stedman.

This.
Its the most successful selling PlayStation game ever.
Oh yeah, apparently people only buy games they hate...
And it had been established Ellie is same sex attracted LONG LONG before this game came out.
Hell, they were even trying to get Ellen Paige to play the character in the first game, an out lesbian.
I bought FF7 remake and I hate it.
F***in ghosts ruining my nostalgia.
-
First get headphones.
Congrats, you are now rank 1 material.
-
I'd rather they do this with a downvote button. It'd be way more useful to see who my ENEMIES are. ๐
-
Huntress shuts down Huntress with her lullaby.
Hag can just overwrite her old traps so calling out placement is pointless. There's many other ways to disable her ability like having one person run into them all acting as bait.
Trapper is truly hurt by it. But he also has a plethora of gadgets and perks that betray his traps as well. Any ######### with a rainbow map doesn't fear him.
And many smart M1 killers will just ignore them if they're hard baiting. They might as well set off fireworks and flashlight click till they have blisters.
-
Don't "main" any killer unless you truly hate every other killers playstyle. You'd be doing yourself a disservice by not seeing their range of abilities and tactics.
Survivors on the otherhand are just cosmetic skins, so main one of those.
-
The main announcement is glitched now too.
Par for the course?

I laugh when Billy has existed for the longest time and has crazy tunneling ability. He can still bring an ebony and have to do even less work than PH, while being more effective.
Come on guys. There's much worse stuff.
Must've missed all those nerf Billy threads but uuuhhhh....Billy needs a nerf. No other killer can wipe a team the moment they spawn in.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/162340/pyramid-head-needs-an-absolutely-huge-change
Killers don't want it to be fun for survivors that's the whole point. We want survivors to be dragged through pain regularly. I wish all killers were as good as pyramid head. We as killers aren't there to give survivors fun we are there for one job and one job only to kill them. Not make friends.
Woah There. Dial back that edge. You might cut yourself because all life is pain amirite?
There's such a thing as sportmanship. The ones lacking that quality are for a lack of a better word....simple. They can't track, multitask, or even mindgame. They're.....simple. Can only focus on one person and take them out so they can count better on their hand. 3 survivors aren't 4. Yayyyyy.
-
Killers play around it now. They either wait ten seconds for it to wear off, or just down the unhooker. Either way they win.
It only really shines in end game collapse.
-
I've seen too many good trappers to say traps need a buff. If you're down to two people, disarming beartraps are a death sentence. And once he has an area locked down, it's over.
-
I'd say when a set-up falls into place. Like the last survivor being the obsession when you have rancor or having all those traps you set up earlier suddenly going off left and right and they can do nothing to stem the tide of the onslaught.
Oh and finally getting that Myers cheevo. I can relax as stabby boi now.
-
This event sucks.
Cakes don't work and I can't get a single event item to spawn on my P3 character. Every bloodweb it's one cake then nothing. I want to collect at least a few event items.
-
There's one totem for each survivor plus one. No one does bones, you deserve what you get.
-
Basement them or use the most op add-ons.
Plague I had her vomit aura going.
The Shape just ignore the obsession and win.
Oni you injure, then pinball off of people when enraged.
Clown, use bleach.
Deathslinger reload add-ons. Shoot n reel your way to victory.

OK? That has absolutely nothing to do with what I said.
You said they earned it by sacrificing their hard earned goods and I responded by going 'yeah all they need to do is show up for work'?
I'm kinda tired right now. Was there some subtlety that went over my head? Inside joke?
For someone who isn't just starting out, you don't earn anything, it's given to you. Repeatedly over and over again.
And winning a chase with someone who's already injured or finding the hatch when you have 8 sets of eyes earns itself an eyeroll too.
I mean actually keys are balanced on the other end of the mori spectrum. You kill someone, the hatch becomes easier to find. Don't kill anyone and they have to do all 5 gens to find it.
Maybe in the future they'll have an offering that turns the hatch into a latrine. That'd be funny.

Funnily enough, they also earned those kills by buying and burning a mori, then winning two chases with the same survivor, the same way survivors earned the use of a key by buying and bringing it to a trial, then finding the hatch.
It's not like pink mori's are rare in any capacity. I could bring 50 irredescent mori's in a row on a character that isn't even my main.
And my survivor I'm hard pressed to find broken keys, but I have over 80 irredescent and purple quality keys with add-ons that keep my key intact.
The issue is rarity. They're is no rarity.
-
If you want some fair mori's, equip Devour Hope. If you can get 5 stacks and your totem doesn't disappear, you earned those kills.
-
I see them despawn occasionally. I'll be looking at one and it's gone the next second.

-
I don't want sexual relations with you when I call you a ######### and you're not my Dad if I call you a mother #########, so how is calling you a f** any different?
-
I've always thought they should rework the system where getting a kill with the hook doesn't end the game for that player.
Been playing Resident Evil Resistance a lot and the idea of a universal counter and multiple areas to play through with different objectives and variables is very engaging.
But no one wants to tip the sacred cow of tunnel one person to death, win game.
-
The alternative is having to grind 30+ tiers without a challenge you're doing in the meantime.
-
Funny, when I find a P3 Claudette I make sure she dies. That doesn't sound like a fair advantage.
-
Exclusivity period has ended.
Gimme.
-
THIS GAME WILL DIE if we don't get Carl the cashier as a survivor/killer.
#Carlthecashierorbust
-
Last few events you were able to purchase the cosmetics even after the event was over. Only exclusives left are the battle pass rewards and I'm sure those will be up for sale eventually.
Legacy skins feel like Excalibur Prime. I can't get them, and the people that did want to wave it in your face.

This is where you losed credibility to me
Y'know when you load into a match and it takes 20 seconds for the Claudette or Nea to start moving around?
That but killer.
-
I'd like to also add that camping/tunneling at the end reeks of desperation unless you're running endgame perks. I typically just let it go if it comes to it.
I personally hate being tunneled right off the hook, so again, it's more of an unspoken gentlemens agreement if you attack other people in the game and try to spread out.
