3 Whole sets right?
Better than just a Shirt and Mask
Or
Weapon and Shirtby far better...
-
Lobbies get messed up every patch.
In some way.
It is always more prominent in event Patches or near event patches.
-
3 Whole sets though right?
Its way better than just A Mask and Shirt
Or
Weapon and Shirt.by far much better.
And who cares if only 3/21 are free, are you saying you are gonna use these skins forever? If you were able to get all these skins for free, would you just stick to these? Or use new ones? Constantly switching out, playing characters that don't have that skin. No one needs that many skins.

There's a post about = Did its job

I'm also a console player.I'm also excited, and grateful for this event.
3/21 pieces for a mild grind is something I wasn't expecting.
I just expected a little more meat on the bone.
And that's fair enough.
-
This is exactly how I thought people would feel. And that is perfect.

I posted this is another forum, but it seemed like a good message.
"Well see, no one or very few people will leave, because... It's just cosmetics.
It's not like the game is being tipped off balance. The game being tipped balance wise, perks being ruined, killer buffs and nerfs etc... That is what will get people moving. Not some silly cosmetics.
They are just articles of clothing, in game. I see where you are coming from, and they should be specific to this event, similar to any other event.
But it really isn't that big a deal. They said they would be giving more options, to either grind it out for free, or if you want to show support, you may pay for it, no one is forcing anyone to pay for it, only if you want to.
And that really shows here, and I am pretty proud that they are keeping their word on this sort of thing. And for that I applaud them. But I do understand why you are upset, and while it would make sense that they keep it like other events. It really wouldn't benefit them.
Cool skins draw players in, and once players see "Event Only Skin" I am sure they feel pretty bummed, I know I did in some other games. Exact same experience. Wanted a cool skin, but it was from an event years ago. Which really bummed me out of the game. And these are some pretty damn cool skins. (Personally love the Wraith one)"

And since you were 3 places to high, I must give you, a -3 Rep on your steam profile.
I am sorry, but it just has to be this way.

A mature and thoughtful response. Appreciate your thoughts. I guess for me it just comes down to this event in general being a huge let down on top of the paywall. They should have just put the skins in the store, because as it sits now the games will be chaos. It wont be a fun grind and once you get your outfit there will literally be no reason to continue. Gens wont get done. People will be suiciding to harvest serum while competing against other survivors.
A lot of us are upset because we thought this event was for us. A lot of us thought this was a way BHVR was going to show their gratitude for the years we supported them. But nope... In the end its a skin showcase
And based off of past events it would be fair to assume how this event would go and we are left with what is is now. And it is disappointing.
I will admit, I hate events, never liked them. Lots of people play like jerks sometimes, plus they are timed, I don't have time to grind all day, but I do have a spare $10, which is why it is nice.
Would've been cool with it, if they made the really cool "Blight" cosmetics buy or grind Iridescent shards and keep permanently in store, then had minor cosmetics (Weapons, heads or shirts) for the event. That is how I think it should've gone.
-
"Can't connect to servers"...
Yeah this event is great guys. I'm grinding pretty hard out here.

A basic rule, general knowledge.
As you can see, this rule was around when the game first dropped. It is basic etiquette.
These are some of the worst types of players. Please, if you or a friend know someone that does not follow rule #38, please seek help immediately!

Don't you know that is survivor rule #153?
"The killer should not down a survivor. If the killer manages to down a survivor, said survivor, plus his friends, neighbors, family, and general community is entitled to taunt, rage, and send death threats, along with racial slurs to the killer in question".
Not to be confused with survivors rule #193 though. As it reads -
"All survivor complaints are valid and will receive full developer support".
Just wait till you hear the rules on how to play The Spirit, plus nerf forums.
Anyways, I hope now you understand how to play the game properly and be a less toxic killer. :chuffed:
You forgot about #153b and #153c that state that the killer is indeed supposed to down survivors, but is not supposed to hook them with the intention to kill. Either the killer lets the survivors heal each other or he hooks only twice in order to farm hook points with them.
Not downing is a toxic playstyle because it denies the survivors to gain altruism BP
Ah, u rite, u rite.
Seems I need to brush up a bit more. So I to can play with a less toxic play style.

It actually gets in the way. Like the top part moves up and down, and you can see the glow. Very distracting
Otherwise I would use it way more.
-
I wish they did a Nurse one
-
Gonna bring Nurse to get the real crap done.
Then i'm gonna play Doctor to ensure survivors don't harvest any :chuffed:
-
It's ez.
The real trolls and toxic ones will wait 2 rank resets to start form rank 20 again, just because. And try extra hard just to mess with the killers and try to not pip and crap like that.
All they gotta do is play CIV 5 for a while and then come back.
-
Much like Gen Tapping, it is a "Feature" and perfectly legit.
As stated by the DEVs
-
So basically don't kill survivors... Cause it's mean :c
-
Only during injured state.
On the ground is dying state, so it won't work.
-
Do you accept GIFs?

-
I like how OP has an excuse for every answer they don't want to hear.
-
I'll take the De-rank part.
Then I can do what all those SWF groups do and sit at low ranks to "Have Fun".
Would help find lobbies faster as well. Waiting half an hour to get lobbies at high ranks is boring.
Sign me up :chuffed:
-
They really should change it or something though.
That sort of spamming isn't healthy for a keyboard.
The wiggling one I can get more behind, but the space bar one is actively pointless.
Half the time, the game decides to sacrifice me anyways because the killers internet had a spike in ping or whatever BS reason. Either way it's really annoying.
-
I'll do whatever the hell I feel like
Because its not bannable
And other players can't make me follow made up rules :chuffed:
-
I just want to be able to disable the chase music in general.
Personally it pulls me out of the game. On both Killer and Survivor.
Especially if you use No Mither, that injured music... Ugh...

Had the perfect LeatherFace match months ago...
Needless to say I found someone, hooked them in the basement.
Build: Insidious, BBQ & Chili, Agitation, Iron Grasp (You all see where this is going)
Addons: Primer Bulb & The GreaseI hide right behind the 2nd locker closest to The Shrine in the basement, around the area where a chest can spawn. I was as close as possible to the hooked survivor I could be without them being able to see my killer, plus I had insidious, so no red stain or heart beat.
I saw the Claudette flailing her arms on the hook, in repetitions of 3. However, it seemed the other 3 survivors were to drawn in by the Altruism Points. To my surprise, all 3 of them ran down the stairs into my lair. Before they even had the chance to unhook her I revved up my chainsaw. All I heard was screams, and then everyone was on the floor. I then proceeded to hook all 3 of them. First David King, then the Meg, and then Claudette's sister, other Claudette. And we were one big happy family.
And that is how I got my "Holiday Get-Together"
The profile comments and spam was real...
What about you guys? :chuffed:

Granted I have not faced the spirit much, I would say a grand total of 23 times between the PTB and today.
And I have yet to run into other killers with the Rancor Teachable. (Might be better on some other killers?)
I have been the obsession without Decisive 6/23 of those matches. Only died to it once. It's really not to strong. And it's not even a guaranteed kill. (I don't run decisive, cause I hate being the obsession)
I don't like it simply because it makes me want to ignore a survivor, otherwise my perk is useless if I end up killing him. I want all my perks to help me throughout the game.

How often do u play as a survivor? I've met quite a few of themUsed to be around 50/50, for the longest time its been about 70/30 in favor of playing killer.
It has been more of a 60/40 as of the past few months though.
I have ran into plenty of laggy killers, and the occasional questionable one. But this one was just so blatant and obvious, that I had to ask.

All perks and Killers should be viable. Im not against "hard mode" perks for survivors like Killers got addons like Padded Jaws and Speed Limiters. However its clear that NM wasnt meant to be one evident by the lack of Reward and the compensation of the broken effect by allowing to get back up. It was meant for an alternative playstyle.

Personally not a fan of CIV in general, but if you ask him I heard he says that they did a...
"Pretty Good Job So Far."

It could help newer players learn where vaults and pallets will be.
Like learning the common spawn spots in the Jungle Gyms and in the big buildings.
After you learn the spawns though it would be almost useless. Might help to find that pesky sole pallet within all the broken ones from time to time. :chuffed:

The devs make stupid comments constantly. And don’t know their own game. Saying no mither shouldn’t be buffed because “hard mode” is absolutely stupid, just as saying “certain killers should stay trash. Not all should be good”
There we go!
But what exactly would you add to buff it?
You can already fully revive yourself off the ground, and you leave no blood trail.
What else besides making it so your grunts of pain are 100% quieter without going overboard? Cause in all fairness, 50% is pretty much nothing.Maybe buffing the revive speed off of the ground?
Giving bonus BP? Since people seem to be all about that.

Killer's try to be as optimized as possible, because they have to be. The DEVs know this, and they know that the killer's would not use BBQ if it only gave bonus BP, it would be a waste of a perk slot. So they gave more incentive through it having the Aura Detection on hooking. Which opens up options for what your next move may be.
I know for a fact I would not use it if all it gave was bonus BP. If It were just the bonus, I would only use it for events such as this. But since it has another thing going for it, and a relatively strong thing, I like to use it.
This is personally how I view it.
That doesn’t change that WGLF needs to get some change
From a certain point of view, I guess you could say that.
From most logical POV‘S. It’s hurting matchmaking. BP needs some boost for survivors.
That's cool.

BBQ is only used to get bloodpoints on most killers, its useless for the secondary effect for killers that doesnt have a traversing power, also if u wanna win more often (4 kills), u wont waste a perk slot using BBQ just for those BPs, but if u are farming, its a most perk for sure because u endup getting more points with less kills than u would if u got 4 kills.
