Hag is amazing with Addons, but that's about it.
She got a bit stronger with her base kit getting a nice buff.So for that much... Git Gud...
And on the topic of nerfing the Nurse, cause she's just so darn good at countering the one thing survivors know best, looping. Do explain what nerfs she needs.
I see a lot of threads for buffs and/or nerfs for various killers, and always noticed something interesting.
The buff topics always have lots of ideas, but whenever its a nerf post, its just that. Someone saying who and why they THINK said character should be nerfed, but they never give an ideas. Maybe because they don't need a nerf? Or is it just that hard to come up with ideas? I recommend thinking it through before making a post that just complains but doesn't actually solve anything, or add to the topic of.

It is a pretty balanced perk... But that is what makes it useless.

No one plays it cause its balanced and somewhat challenging.
Since a large portion of the community in DBD play survivor, and many of them are toxic, its more fun for them.
I personally like Death Garden, I enjoy playing Hunter, even when the 5 runners in question are a group of friends playing, I stand a chance with whatever weapons I am using, the ability to run across the map is so useful.
If I want this sort of power, its Nurse, sometimes Billy, but Nurse.

Is there any chance that you will create another killer that is viable in high rank play, that is at least on par with The Hill Billy if not The Nurse?

I know I have not been playing nearly as much as I used to.
I actually started play For Honor and Paladins again for whatever god forsaken reason, as if I didn't have enough of the BS that DBD is capable of offering.
The game just got boring. Same ######### every match. I got good with Nurse which has really changed a lot for me. Whenever I play Billy I get frustrated when I can't perform like with Nurse, even though Billy is by far still my favorite killer, Nurse is just on a different level.
I really do wish they would make another relatively competent killer to use at higher ranks.
You can play all killers at the high ranks with varying success, it really does depend on the skill of the survivors and if they are in a SWF group with lower ranks or not, that can change a lot as well.
I have cleared the floor with Freddy and Wraith and high ranks, but at the same time, I get destroyed playing even Nurse or Billy. There are just to many different things to calculate to know how any given match will turn out.
But yeah, I digress. It just got boring, and with no new killers that are above mid-tier, I have no reason to try them out unless its a reset. Cause, not sure if the DEVs know this, but losing isn't fun. :chuffed:

Do you really think capping at 1 Million will stop a hacker that really wants BP? If they want it that bad, nothing is going to stop them. Might stop a few maybe?
I still have a problem with the cap though. If someone has all the perks and everyone currently available maxed out. Why shouldn't we be allowed to save up more than 36ish levels worth of BP for new characters? Not like its slowing the grind, its the exact same. And I hate when I go into a match and end up earning over the 1 Million, so I end up losing out on BP. Putting BP into the blood web at Prestige 3 to get addons is so useless. Better to learn to play without addons & items, you will become a much better player.
There really isn't a good reason you can impose at this point besides "To stop hackers", and that has been worn down at this point.
And lets not forget all the people that got confused when they saw players with over 1 Million BP, because of the compensation for the data losses. Luckily that bits over, but it was annoying having to keep people informed on why things were the way they were.

I play a lot of Dota and Pudge is by far one of my favorite. Similarly how its very satisfying to hear a Bear Trap catch someone, a long range Huntress Hatchet to land right on target, or a Billy Chainsaw that you round map with and end up hitting someone in the back.

Yea, Peer2Peer sucks. Plus their Net Code is horrible.
But if you ever bring up dedicated servers, it will be a whole lot of...

"Its to expensive" and what ever other reasons people could make.In reality, dedicated servers would fix a lot. They could get crash logs, it would be easier to find and fix bugs or duplicate bugs, better connections (I would imagine for the most part). The list pretty expansive.
But yeah... We are going to be stuck with this for as far as I know, forever. Better get comfy.

There will be NO visible blood after the fix. Meaning even if there were blood on the ground before you used your ability, it will disappear for the time you are using it, unless you have ultra-rare addon, then it will be as it is now.

People have gotten 4ks with every killer. 100% positive on that, there is video evidence all over the place. Just because you caught 4 survivors, doesn't mean a character is great. How good were the survivors? Did they mess up often? There are many things that we could go into.
The only thing people have said is that her ability is weak, and it really is. I mean, Iron Will & Urban Evasion, I have found is very effective against her.

Her ability is to reliant on hearing and whether or not the survivor is dumb enough to stick around pallets when she uses her ability. I have yet to die to The Spirit.
For someone like me, my hearing isn't the greatest, I rely on my site to catch the sneaky survivors from a distance when they try to slink away into a corner or something. So to have to rely on chance and hearing is kind of stupid.
Using ability:
~ You are completely invisible to survivors with no heartbeat or red stain
~ Can't phase through Pallets, Vault locations/walls, you have full collision
~ Survivors are invisible, can only see scratch marks
(I heard blood trails are bugged, can anyone confirm how they are supposed to work or if they are bugged?)
~ Ability has wind up time where you cannot really move
~ You can only attack out of the ability, you cannot, break pallets or generators, search lockers, grab survivors form things, only attack.
~You have to wait for the power bar to wind all the way back before you can use the ability again
~ Leave behind a husk with collision (Can block Windows, Pallets, and Lockers) the husk also carries your heat beat
~ The Spirit also passively phases and twitches, which I do think looks pretty coolSure, there are mind games you can do, and with practice she can make a strong mid tier killer, but I don't see it any higher than that. Plus she moves at 110% like Hag and Huntress, so take that as you will
Wraith isn't any better than he used to be, unless you are using addons, then he is much better. But what happens when you run out of addons? Gonna keep grinding a prestige 3 tree for them? Its a fruitless venture really.
There are certain things that you know are going to be weak and others strong. This is one of those times. Whether or not you choose to accept that is up to you.
I know I will not be buying this DLC, I have already said that. I didn't buy the Clown DLC even though I believe he is very well balanced, I simply got 2 of his perks form the Shrine and I was off. I can only see myself wanting 1 perk from The Spirit, and really I don't want any from the last 2 newest survivors.
I really am rooting for The Spirit, I think she's very cool, I like how she looks and all. But I wouldn't say unique though. To much of a mishmash of Freddy/Wraith, with a bit of a spin for me. Sometimes you just have to accept that things aren't as great as you want them to be or believe they are.
This patch when it is fully released will be interesting to say the least. But yeah, no buy from me. Sorry.

Then what about the killer? You claim he was moving perfectly, maybe the same thing happened to him. Perhaps his cams were lagging but he saw you moving just fine. You never know. Perhaps he didn't even know you guys were lagging. Maybe he was indeed switching...
Just because you can tell me what may have happened, does not mean it did or didn't. I wouldn't have any way of knowing. And most people won't just trust words.
We need all 5 POVs. But if you have recorded evidence then try to contact a moderator and give it to them.

Not to discredit your idea, but it can be hard to distinguish the two.
I have been victim of lag switching accusations, whether I knew they were lagging or not. My internet is usually pretty good when I am the only one using it, but when bad weather hits, or someone else starts downloading something, it can screw it up pretty bad. Sometimes it doesn't effect it much, that is just life.
Hope you find evidence if he/she was switching though.

Sometimes killers do it on occasion, it could also be the reason they let you go as you said, perhaps you impressed them. But it could be any number of reasons.
I used to do it a fair bit. But as of now I don't give em a sliver of a chance anymore, they don't need more chances :chuffed:

If it got released and was to strong or weak, the forums would be even fuller of buff and nerf posts, which is obnoxious. (Not saying there aren't any now, but not nearly as many)
I think the Clown is a good example of how well the PTB can work though. He got some minor tweaks before release, that were overall buffs to him and I will be honest, he is probably one of the most balanced killers to come out yet, but that was with a lot of player feedback from the PTB
Do we really want a situation with some of the other killers? There was no PTB for Myer's his perks got nerfed to hell, no PTB for Freddy... Saw how well that one went.
A good example of no PTB would be The Pig. She turned out fairly balanced, I think she could be a little it stronger though, but that is just my opinion.
Anyways, sure it can I guess ruin the release for people. But some people love being able to help in every way they can with the balance of this game and if that comes in the form of the newest killers and perks, then so be it. I know I want to help.
And lastly, if you really REALLLY hate it so much, how the hype dies or it ruins the release or whatever other reasons you have. You could just ignore postings when you know there is going to be a PTB, avoid ruining it for yourself, don't watch anything showing it off, nothing. Either that or turn off your computer and go do something else. Idk play CIV 5 ffs.

Its a clear and obvious observation though.
You cannot possibly take a good look at the killers ability and say that its a good ability.
It needs to be charged, and has a time limit, to do what exactly? Turn invisible with 0 heartbeat, for a certain amount of time, during which you cannot see the survivors, and have full collision of walls, survivors, and pallets. Similar to the Wraith, only difference being that the invisibility is full (Like Freddy), but the only actions you can take are to cancel/attack, but Wraith can do actions out of his invisibility, while not complete invisibility has an unlimited duration.
There are some things that are just bad and this, as sad as it is to say is just plan awful.
I don't want it to be, I am sure no one wants it to be, but that is just the reality. You can pull the "It's early, just wait or it has a different play style card" all you want, but it doesn't take a skilled pair of eyes to see that it is just bad. Nothing about it is viable in the slightest, it was meant to be a "fun" killer for not only the person playing, but the survivor.
A kind if jump scary cliche Japanese horror spirit monster.
That is all I have to say.

Now people will want to camp more often, its such a troll perk people would constantly run it, especially in a SWF squad...
I already have bad enough luck with 7/10 games average 1 person gets off the hook, hell 3 weeks ago I was stomping a group with my nurse and 2 of them got off the hook. (That is the second time that has happened to me in the past 5 months) Wasn't it 4% chance?
Would love to know if values for chance change as you do better or not. Happens to often for me.
At least now I know more or less if its coming...
