It refers to the twitch emote if I am not mistaken. But I would be glad if he could get a buff, the recent stats show that he has both a low kill rate and a low pick rate. :(
They're no way all of this hype is just for that. I think Demo's getting some changes.

Yes, too many Survivors would be ######### and only sabo the event hooks to deny the Killer their bonus points.
-
His reveal is busted.

Where did all this talk about Demogorgon come from?
The devs have tweeted about it specifically a couple times and the upcoming Twitch stream is Stranger Things themed.
-
Ok I don't think it's just a Twitch emote anymore, there's way too much hype around it.
-
I could've sworn that "demoPLS" was just an emote or something for Twitch, but there's no way something as small as that would require this much hype.
-
It's like this to prevent players from being ######### and only saboing the event hooks to prevent the Killer from getting their bonus. It shouldn't be that big of a deal because you don't have to sabo those hooks, unless you're one of those ######### I mentioned in the previous sentence.
-
I haven't played today yet, but this would be some really bad timing if BBQ broke the day before a double BP event.
-
Doctor could go full Sith Lord and just shock the locker.
-
Unfortunately that'd get you banned as the current chase music is so loud to cover up the audio issues.
-
Oh no please let this just be a bug.
-
I think it's just a Twitch emote, but I really, really hope it's some buffs for Demogorgon. It would suck if was just an emote.

This is all a fantasy. If you watch DbDs official source of lore, animated by Samination, you’d know that Tapp has already tapped Huntress and that they are happily married.
I thought Tapp left her at the altar.

I'm probably alone on this, but Aya Brea/Eve from Parasite Eve, or Jill/Nemesis from Resident Evil
We could get Jill and any version of Stage 1 Nemesis (even the damaged OG version would still work). Resistance’s lifespan was very, very short and they’re probably thinking about server shutdowns soon. Nemesis and Jill being in DBD could get more people interested in Resident Evil and maybe even bring back Resistance as an actual competitor to DBD. The only forms of Nemesis that would struggle to work are his final form in the original and his last two forms in the remake.
-
Survivors can’t rid of Madness 1 or 2 on their own, probably because Madness 1 doesn’t really do that much. All the juicy afflictions start happening at tier 2, but even then they aren’t super powerful. When against Doctor, the Survivors are supposed to be going mad and seeing/hearing all these illusions, so I get why you can’t get out of tier 2.
Also if you use lockers correctly you can make it very hard for him to use his Madness afflictions on you.
-
Nemesis.
-
Nope. Their BP boost is too small. You’re better off going with puddings/streamers/cakes.
@brokedownpalace said:
Because you can only use them during the event lol
So I should purposefully lower my total BPs because there’s an event going on? Lol

Godzilla: I’m a huge Godzilla fan, but he’s way too big.
Major spoilers for the remake of Resident Evil 3 below:
Stage 2 Nemesis: He’s got the highest chance of getting in because he’s big, but not gigantic, so he could be shrunk down. However, he’s quadrupedal. He looked really fun to play as. I wouldn’t mind an open world game where the story is pretty much “You’re a Resident Evil boss monster. Go kill people!”. I know we have Resistance, but that’s online only and you don’t get access to the other forms. Maybe it could even have alternate “bad” endings to the games (like having Nemesis succeed in his mission of killing all STARS members)
Stage 3 Nemesis: This was the best part of the remake. We had a new version of Final Metamorphosis playing to fight a Nemesis that had gone much farther than he did in the original. You couldn’t just run in circles like every other boss fight. You had to face him head-on. It was really satisfying to hold the railgun and shove it in his mouth at the end (if only Jill had said a certain line during it). However, he’s way too big for this game (dude towers over Jill) and he’s immobile. The only way I could see him working is if the devs introduce environmental hazards.

it may be sony preventing them from letting ps4 players participate, but that's just a theory really.
But why though? Sony has done some weird things in the past, but this would make no sense at all, especially after they’ve allowed other devs to do contests for their games. I highly doubt that Sony is the reason the giveaway isn’t on PS4.

I’m beginning to wonder if PlayStation is about to become the red headed stepchild for DBD platforms. Look at the recent Auric Cell giveaway. Every platform but PS4 is eligible for it.
-
Exactly! Like what the ######### does the Entity want with a damn common offering? Wouldn't it want an Ultra Rare add-on instead?
-
It’s not you. Killer is in a very bad spot (especially with the horrible frames on console) right now. Most of the time it’s just DBD being crappy.

Blood Favor.
lets be honest, the perk doesnt need to be a Hex, have a limited range, a short duration AND a cooldown.
Either remove the Hex part or remove the cooldown. It doesn’t need both. The devs were too cautious with this perk.
-
Doctor and Blight’s Halloween skins are some of the best in the game (Doc’s skin is auric cells only but I think it’s on sale).
-
It’s intentional, too many Survivors were being toxic and saboing the event hooks to deny the Killers their bonuses.
-
I think it’s got at least a year or two left because of how loyal the playerbase is. Even with how bad the Eternal Blight event and update are, a lot of people stayed. If you look at its past, DBD should have died so many times but it didn’t.
However (and this is where the negative part comes in), the event turning out the way it did is something I predicted about a year and a half ago. BHVR went full Activision/EA with greed and laziness. If they keep it up, the playerbase will take a big hit. The Steam charts are already showing a decrease in the playerbase. While we don’t have access to console numbers, I’d think that they’re decreasing too because of the event and being promised optimization for years but rarely getting it. The recent dev stream with the answers to OoO and the stance on stats did not help at all. DBD may be an absolute blast when it works, but if BHVR keeps it up with the greed, laziness, and incompetence, this game will not last very long. Avengers and Anthem have shown us that. Avengers even showed us that a name and history will only take you so far.
-
Survivor-sided overall.
Suffocation Pit still has a bunch of jungle gyms and T/L walls together in the middle of the map.
Shelter Woods can go either way depending on tile spawns.
Coal Tower, Ironworks, and Storehouse have breakable walls that need to broken unless you want to deal with god loops. Who the hell thought this was a good idea?
@MusicNerd_TC said:
Groaning storehouse has a literal infinite, even if you break the wall.
That alone makes the map survivor sided (they killed coal tower and all the others because of the stupid breakable walls).
Storehouse has an actual infinite even if you break the wall? I thought it needed the wall. Can you go into more detail please?

It’s a weird challenge. My second Doc game and first PH game were fine, but my third Doc game was bugged. I even used a pudding in the PH game. I’m a little surprised we don’t have a hotfix out yet considering how many bugs the event introduced.
-
I paused for a second when I realized it was gone (like straight up not moving). I was so used to hearing chase music while zapping Survivors.
Hopefully it’s fixed soon, he’s got the best chase music in the game!
-
Kill them all. It’s a horror movie but the killer wins at the end. The final boy/girl dies instead of fighting back and surviving.
-
It’s not just frames being absolutely terrible. DBD actually makes my controller drift worse now. When playing other games like the Resident Evil remakes, it’s there but not super noticeable. My reticle moves a little bit, but usually that zombie still gets a bullet in its head. In DBD, that’s not the case. I can go from looking straight to up or to a side while trying to use my power or while I’m chasing a Survivor. It’s never a slow turn that doesn’t disorient me for a bit.
At this point trying to say that the hardware is what’s causing this is wrong. If you really think it is, then how can you explain the PS4 being able to run so many other newer and better looking games with barely any problems? Better yet, can you explain why this one game causes my controllers to act up more than usual?

Doctor with Distressing. The only time I fail to get 8k Deviousness points is if the Survivors give up at the very beginning.
-
Took a bit longer than I expected, but we have our first thread from bad or entitled Survivors using the stats to whine about a Killer.
There’s way too many variables to take into account for these stats to mean something. The devs even told us not to use them lol.
-
That’s nice and honestly more than I expected. I don’t think BHVR has ever done a shard discount.
Although I think we should still get two skins, not just one.
-
You hit the nail on the head, but unfortunately BHVR had to go and release those stats that show Freddy's the most effective Killer, so you can expect billions of "FREDDY OP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" threads from bad Survivors.
Also Survivors hate anything that makes looping even a little bit harder.
@Slashstreetboy said:
Freddy is OP. The recent statistics show him having a high kill rate, and this is everything that matters to the guy in charge. You can´t argue against his stats, reason will get you nowhere there.
Wait did he actually say that about the stats? Doctor was right behind Freddy on both charts for the kill and pick rates. Does this mean that they're on BHVR's hit list for nerfs now even though those stats are basically meaningless?!
-
They might trying to be really toxic and purposefully deny you the Visceral Cankers for the event. I ran into an Oni who did just that. He camped and tunneled me just so I wouldn’t get the canker. My unhooker ran right in front of him but he still went after me. He activated Blood Fury and happened to find other Survivors while chasing me. Guess what? He still went after me, even though two Survivors were much closer to him than I was. I happened to run to a dead zone so he killed me. After the match, I asked him about it and he admitted to everything. He was hellbent on denying me my challenge after he saw me harvesting.
Next time, you might ask the Killer if they were trying to mess with your challenge.

But Myers won´t get any changes to his basekit, they confirmed it in the stream.
Then what did you mean by cooldown in your original post? His tier 3 running out and you having to get it back?
-
It’s boring. I want to actually play the game.

@SleepyWillo said:
Just to note - this was taken from the Dev stream. Kill rates are on the top and pick rates are on the bottom. The displayed stats are for red ranks only. This question was asked by @Cabbage
Wait kill rates are on top?! Oh boy, can’t wait to see a swarm of “DOCTOR OP!!!!!!!!” threads from bad Survivors who take these stats too seriously.
-
Oh great, can’t wait to deal with eight billion “DOCTOR OP!!!!!!!!!!” threads from bad Survivors because of these.
-
I’d wait until we have more details. This is exactly how I felt about Doctor when it was announced he was getting changed.
I was so scared they’d nerf him and he’d be completely useless. The Static Blast was announced and I thought that they really had nerfed him. But when he hit the PTB and live servers, I realized that I was wrong. He had gotten a big buff. The devs even fixed one of his major problems from the PTB! Then they buffed him again in the next patch to where almost all of his add-ons were useful (the only useless one, Scrapped Tape, stayed because it had a cult following) You and Myers could easily go through the same thing.
-
@BigTimeGamer said:
to make things simpler, here is a list of things I liked from this update:
The skins look niceoh wait, you have to buy themB-b-but you can buy them with shards! They only cost more than two full characters!
-
Greed and laziness. The same problems that plague the Eternal Blight event.
-
Yeah, the art team did an outstanding job. The rest of the event is where all the problems lie.
-
Apparently it allowed Killers to do too much and still pop a gen (even though low mobility Killers actually needed the time to get to some gens).
The devs then proceeded to act like DS didn’t give Survivors 60 seconds of immunity. They still haven’t addressed that point.
-
They’ve always exploded for me if I hit the edge of the Great zone.
-
The Visceral Cankers take a really long time to harvest. It’s extremely boring and turns the game into even more of an M1 simulator.
The animation for harvesting Cankers is just the old gen repair animation.
-
So I played four games today on PS4.
Hallowed Blight Doctor on Pale Rose: It went ok, but I could tell that the frames were not ok and the map was saving them. Just swinging my weapon or entering would make me lose a lot of frames. I’m scared to get an indoor map or MacMillan.
Laurie on Hawkins: Frames dropped at the beginning when walking.
Freddy on Midwich: Surprisingly, it didn’t go too bad. Frames didn’t drop to unplayable levels. They weren’t perfect but they were better than the Doc game.
Laurie on Torment Creek: Little to no FPS problems.
First impressions seem alright, but I have a feeling that I just got lucky. Still, the fact that so many people are getting hit with unplayable FPS is unacceptable and it needs to be fixed ASAP.
-
Yeah, they leaked a while ago and the in-game news page confirms them. I think they’ll back in a future Tome as it feels like they were last minute additions.
But let’s look at two of those challenges:
- There’s another escape as the Obsession challenge. Not sure why the devs brought back because a lot of people hated it.
- In level 4, the Destroyer of Hope (hook 4 Survivors in EGC) doesn’t sound so bad until you look at the BP rewards. 60k BP is given for completing master challenges that have to be done in a single game. It looks like it’s just a bug and will be fixed when the level actually releases, but if it’s not, then that will be one of the hardest challenges in the game. Hooking 4 Survivors during the EGC in a single game is pretty much asking for you to farm or hope they’re overaltruistic (even with NOED). The gate needs to be open or you would have needed to close the Hatch after a key escape in order to do this in a single game. At that point, the Survivors either have an easy escape option (gates) or you’re down one Survivor (key escape).

really? because they didnt release a video at all. also is not on the tome things and its always been there from the beggining with every character
Adam along with Clown are coming later. At first these were just leaks but the in-game news section officially confirms them. They’re not getting any memories. I think they’ll come back in a future Tome with more content. There’s no way BHVR would just tack on two characters to a Tome like this (no memories).
All of the Tome challenges have leaked, so you can check them out if you want. I would link you to them, but I think that would break a rule.
