Same on Xbox series X, could also get Gabriel’s but not the singularity’s even after restarting my console.

I have also had issues on Xbox Series X, have tried restarting the game and console, additionally power cycling the console and nothing is working. It seems to only be a Series S|X issue as my friend who is on Xbox One was able to load the game fine.

Corrupt will still last 120 seconds regardless of if they don’t manage to down someone within that time period, it won’t continue to last an infinite amount of time.

Got value in a few of my first matches today against Bubbas and Trappers, who slugged the who team. Fair enough I had to actually crawl to the boon range first, but actually managed to escape instead of a 4K.

I think you should buy whatever appeals to you most, and if you’re caught up on licenses, definitely wait for Hag as she can be bought with shards but definitely get Bubba for BBQ. I would recommend Stranger Things but as that isn’t obtainable anymore, Cursed Legacy is always a safe bet, Oni and Yui are personally two of my favourites.

This error breaks my swf lobbies at lot as well, having to constantly restart the game or my console after every match is just plain unplayable. I’m on Xbox Series X

I have had this issue since being on Xbox One, have been on Series X now for almost 12 months and still encounter this problem. Constantly, having the restart our game because one person shows that everyone else is still in game, or after leaving the game idle for a while and inviting someone, having them not show up in the lobby for the host.
Could possibly also be tied in with the Grade Update Errors, every time I seemed to get one of them, this swf lobby breaks as well.
It’s a constant struggle having to restart our consoles and games after every match.

Hey Scott, love your content. Apparently there’s a whole discord of them. The hackers told me they use steam and hardware ID spoofers to prevent being banned, so reporting them won’t do much good either.

Had another error very similar to this one, that also stopped matchmaking from occurring, it was just worded differently.

It wasn’t intended that players had it, but you can still unlock it in the premium track of the rift.

The only killers that can still scare me in this game, after 4 years of play are mostly ghostfaces/Myers. But anything without a terror radius that sneaks up on me will always be terrifying.

No, the DC penalty is still enabled, just the penalty for the first couple times is quite little (5 and 15 minutes). This is in place incase they didn't DC on purpose and their internet dropped out. But it's not all that punishing and they can get back into another game quite quickly.

All that has been confirmed for this update, is clown rework/update, and now the asylum and game map updates. But it wouldn't surprise me, the descend beyond chapter is also being reviewed in the update, and I have a small suspicion that undying may be getting a small nerf.

I'd love to buy a PC and continue playing dbd, as I have before but have over 4k hours on Xbox and am not going to be starting from scratch. When and if cross progression comes in for consoles, I'll be ditching it asap. It's just awful and they genuinely aren't doing anything to improve performance on current gen.

The player base would significantly decrease, as many people only play because they enjoy playing with friends. Though they can be strong at times, it would be a bad decision for the overall health of the game.

It's honestly quite sad that the devs pushed this patch out the way it was, this is beyond ridiculous, it been 4 and a half years how is this still happening. I genuinely believe this has been the buggiest patch in this game's history.

I don't know about everyone other region, but I know for the Australian and New Zealand servers, queue times are instant for survivor in the morning and take about 10-15 minutes at night. And vice versa for killer.

I take it you’re a PC player then. We want the faster queue times, but if you’ve even played one game on one of the consoles you would realise how bad the FPS is compared to PC.

It's not exactly the answer you asked for, but that way you can remain on your platform specifically.
We want crossplay, just not with a platform that has double the FPS and better controls. Most (not all) console players feel the same, where Xbox, PS4 and Switch have the same issues, where no one platform has an advantage over the others. Thanks for your suggestion though 😊

It was fine the way it was after the latest hotfix, but I guess they look at the back end stats and weren’t happy with the performance so have nerfed it again.

Bruh, have you seen how many neon cosmetics there are now, Bunny Feng, All Nea’s hair, I think immersive cosmetics went out the window a while ago.

The killer can see you names in the “pause” menu during the match and during the lobby before the game. All they have to do is click on your name and message.

Yeah I guess, it’s also quite a niche scenario, so it’s understandable as to why they made it that way. But you get my point how it can be quite annoying for the survivor.

Are you sure you have a 360 and not an Xbox one? The game isn’t available on the 360, to my knowledge. You can’t find the killers name during the match anymore, it got changed recently and you can’t send messages to the killer until the end of the match, when you click on their name on the end game screen.

It seems like everyone on xbox is seeing the blue line, so strange maybe it's platform specific. I know I'm seeing it in almost every bloodweb.

Stranger Things was the best DLC so far. Halloween is also really good because of decisive and the killer perks as well.

I have to disagree with this. If you managed to get the adept this way, then congratulations.
As an Adept Plague holder myself I would advise that the power should be used as often as possible.
I get Merciless with Plague on a semi regular basis and pretty much hardly ever remove Dark Devotion, Infectious Fright, and Corrupt Intervention because of just how wonderful these perks are on her. As far as one killer having all 3 teachables serving the killer better than any other perks, Plague takes the cake.
A Plague player should have a large disparity between the amount of hits and downs she is getting versus actual hooks.
Here’s my summary of my approach in matches:
- until you find survivors, infect every gen. EVERY GEN. Periodically check around the blocked gens for hiding survivors if Plague can’t stumble across any before the CI timer expires. If survivors being super immersed with CI, then right before the timer expires infect those 3 gens too in order to piss the survivors off more for being so dumb as to wait till those gens are available.
- Priority is getting everyone infected ASAP. Remember if the first chase is difficult, as long as they have infection then Plague has already injured them. If a survivor is difficult to infect with Vile Purge directly (or they’re just not jumping onto infected gens), then infect vaults and pallets at the current loop and FORCE that survivor to use one of them, even if it means eating a pallet stun. If survivors start feeling threatened enough that they start cleansing and no one is infected, the priority shifts back to getting everyone (or as many as possible) sick ASAP.
- Dark Devotion - The Obsession is your toy. YOUR. TOY. Yes of course the Obsession needs to go on the hook 3 times at some point, but most of the time Plague comes across the Obsession they should be whacking them (preferably making sure they have infection too) and then Plague should be using Undetectable to get the jump on other survivors while the Obsession causes disruption and confusion as they run around the map. This is even better if the Obsession was injured or fully infected and gets downed. Plague can go get the jump on other survivors, whilst they’ll be a little hesitant running in to help the Obsession while they’re emitting a TR. This all has great synergy with Infectious Fright. Don’t discount DD 30 seconds on Undetectable. 30 seconds in DBD is longer than most people realise, and I almost always get a benefit from doing this strategy.
- Infectious Fright - it goes without saying that if a notification pops up, slug and go chase the revealed survivor, ESPECIALLY if they’re either Broken, Plague has Corrupt Purge, or both. It’s usually never sensible to ignore an IF notification. They’re probably someone with a flashlight anyway.
9 times out of 10 the combination of regular using Dark Devotion to jump scare broken survivors, and Infectious Fright frequently revealing their location (and Plague subsequently acting upon it) will lead to cleansing. Yes, even the most stubborn try hard non cleansers end up cleansing when they get sick of being insta-downed because they keep getting caught out in a disadvantaged position by DD or IF.
- Corrupt Purge - try not to use Fountains willy nilly. Try not to let them reset either. My general rule of thumb of when I use them is when a chase takes me somewhat past one. It’s almost always worth the deviation and the loss of distance in the chase to activate it and resume the chase. How do you judge if a fountain is close enough or not mid chase? By assessing whether or not you feel confident that you can quickly track where the survivor went.

I feel like there was supposed to be a hotfix yesterday as they always drop 2 of them after the chapter and mid-chapter updates, but because of the offerings bug I think they’ll put it in the hotfix and release it ASAP, but we don’t know how long it’ll be till it’s ready.

It’s because getting the crown offers extra bp, to be fair it’s only an extra 750 bp all up, but it’s worth something I guess.

You can use them just it won’t grant everyone else in the trial bp only yourself.
