I'll have to close this one. While I understand there was no ill intent, I'd like to remind everyone that we do not support DCs as per the forum rules. They ruins the game for all the remaining players involved! Thanks for your understanding.

You can just record the result without BBQ. We know about the visual issue so we're going to take it into consideration when we review the survey you filled.

Yeah, i miss it too... I'm usually a fan of closed maps so losing one of the few available was tough... 😥

Honestly, from the moment the penalty was added i saw a substantial decrease of DCs rate in my games... It reached a point where on each game i had to pray no DC would happen. Really annoying especially when trying to do some achievements/challenges.
Now even if they still happen sometime, it's way less frequent.

I do mind losing "special" items and offerings, such as halloween, event and annivesary items and offerings..
Because those things, some of them never come back, they are actually rare,
and while I could use one of the items and offerings, I really feel like saving at least one..
And prestieging obviously gets rid of those aswell, and than I get in this tricky situation,
what if I want to prestiege but don't want to lose my deserved special loot?
I understand where you come from. There is no solution, you will have to make a choice. 😅

The reason why I prestiged 3 a couple of my character is so that I can stockpile all my items, addons and offerings. On Nancy I have 18 escape Cakes. I have 72 winter party starters on Claire. Idk it feels complete to me but I only do it for the characters I really like
This is a really solid advice, and i suggest everyone to do it as soon as possible, especially if you are collectors! The sooner you get to prestige 3 with a character, the faster you'll have a "storage like" character with which you can collect limited items and keep them there. 😁

When that happens on my side i see it as a last occasion to gift each other some extra Blood Points. Unless they leave as soon as the Killer gets close, in that case i don't see the point on waiting until killer approaches...

Contacting a mod to report hackers will not be useful. The proper way to report hackers, if you think you faced one, is to follow this guide: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/19450/game-rules-and-report-system
Basically you need to report the person ingame (after the match ends). Once done, you need to open a support ticket and send video evidences there. 1 Survivor and 1 Killer. To be fair they were not using classic cheats, they were just blatant lag switchers.
One was a pig, who at a certain point activated the lag switch.
She downed a person nearby the last gen me and 2 others were doing, then i see her starting moving in a straight line away from us, then few seconds later we were all downed.
The other was a Survivor, prevented me from hooking him. So i had to slug him multiple times (he had No Mither). He tried multiple times to use the lag switch to fake a crawl in a direction, but a learned the pattern and stayed near the original position i downed him. So eventually he bled out. On post-game chat he was not amused... 😁
Both these happened years ago, don't remember the status the game was on at the time (if Killer was still the host, or if dedicated servers were already a thing).

Most of these are really interesting options. I'll say that if Isaac Clarke is added, i WANT him to scream while he's running and being chased... FOR ALL THE CHASE DURATION. 😁

Definitely. Horror movies and most of all horror games always created that "adrenaline rush" in me. It's something that i cannot experience elsewhere (luckily of course... Surely i'm not looking forward to find myself in these tense situations irl if i can avoid it).

If you're interested in gameplay and power only, I'd say spirit or twins. If you want to consider perks too, i'd agree clown is a good choice. 🙂

I would love a shapeshifting killer. It would be really interesting, even though it needs a lot of work to create a power that could work with communications between Survive with Friends.

I think it has its uses. Definitely a perk that i still see in my games when i play Survivor.
