SWF Is at every rank.
Just like "sweaty" killers are every rank.Your post proves nothing.
The good swf derank to green/blue, please don't lie to people.
I think by blue you mean purple, colour blind?
Even then, you're talking about deranking way past that to yellow, and trying to compare it to what they do, the streamers that I've seen derank go to rank 8 from what I've seen but nothing below.
Sweaty players are at all ranks, stop trying to justify your reason for deranking and just admit you're a bad killer and can't handle survivors that take the time to hit rank 1.
But raaaaank doesnt matter though, remember?
No difference between raaaaaank 1 and raaank 8, but I don't wanna be raaaank 1 despite no difference between the two.Are you 8 years old?
They specifically don't derank past a certain number because then you do start hitting players that are newer to the game.
Instead of being childish why don't you actually refute my point, oh wait - you can't. You want to instead justify your reasoning to go into YELLOW ranks btw so you can bully survivors that don't even care about this whole situation.
I think there is a huge difference between deranking to rank 8 and deranking to rank 15.
I'm sorry I can't outskill 4 man DS/adrenaline with people on comms, or 4 man sabo.
It's especially funny when you do it to people who don't have your same level of relative experience, and then call them ######### or don't sympathize when they're unhappy. Also AHAHAHAHA there are people with bad skill in all hours, ppl in red ranks with 300 hrs who are subpar at this game.
I spent a whole morning qeue sniping a rank 1 3 manSWF and they didn't stand a chance outside of a killer I don't play and some bad map RNG one game.
Trust me, I can deal with rank 1 just fine.
I'm mostly just doing it because apparently people think it's ok, and plenty of fog whisperers have admitted they enjoy dicking on people via deranking or they don't admit it but if you watch their streams you'll see how disrespectful they are.I love how bad killers on the forum always come out with stuff like "4man DS/Adrenaline teams". I rarely ever see it to be honest but the 5 games out of 100 that it happens you guys base all your other matches on that.
Again, you're comparing deranking to rank 8 as the same as deranking to rank 15. Whatever helps you pretend you're good at this game man you go for it.

I completely agree with you in your opinion about deranking, i was not trying to refute it.
I just see soo many of those streamers deranking, and then giving a plethora of reasons of why they do it in order to justify themselves...
And liked the way you put that:Sweaty players are at all ranks, stop trying to justify your reason for deranking and just admit you're a bad killer/survivor and can't handle survivors/killers that take the time to hit rank 1.
I added some to your statement so it goes both ways

While I appreciate your honesty, this is a post specifically about a killer trying to justify deranking to rank 15. Which is why I used killer in the position and not survivor.

I hate to link to my twitch but you can watch this match I used it with and see how useful it is.
-
I personally like the hook going.
Because the basement is such a plus for the killer (despite the shack loop) it's almost no risk to try the basement hooks anymore, if a killer didn't feel like they'd make it they'd just hook them on the outside and it makes the basement a no brainer to at least try if you're kind of close.

Was it a three man match by any chance?
-
How to deal with DS
1.Equip Rancor.
2.Down non-obsession and get hit with ds on the way to the hook
3.Ignore DS for whole match.
4.When there are 2 gens left patrol the gens and find the DS.
5.Down them.
6.Down another non obsession and get hit with DS on the way to the hook
7.Wait for other generators to finish.
8.Kill them.Honestly, there are not many things I find annoying as a killer, and matches (for me at least) with more than one DS are incredibly rare, however - when it does happen they tend to be my worst and most annoying matches ever. I'm fine with the known DS, I can eat that and prep for it, it's the 33% that ruin the match.

Ok it's official. The end is near.
I'm agreeing with senzu.
It's very rare I 2 or more d-strikes but when it does happen and they get those 33% ones it wastes so much time, it's awful.

So 15 seconds sounds like the time in takes for one survivor to heal another, not the time it takes to heal yourself.
I guess you got a team that's good at healing each other, nothing wrong with that.
You could stop losing chases as well? I think if a survivor constantly jukes you enough times to be healed over and over again they're doing pretty well and probably deserve the heal.

no, totem should not spawn in or outside the shack. It's the worst place cuz every survivor runs to the shack
So let me get this straight.
You want totems to
- Not spawn near survivors
- Not spawn near buildings
- Not spawn near generators
So basically, lets limit where it can spawn and actually make them easier to find, good job guys, you really are trying to kill this game.
You guys all cry about totem spawns, stop running them? You get mad when a survivor with 500+ hours find them, what do you expect? You learn the spots and they become easier to find, no totem placement will be good enough for any of you.

No, almost nobody likes the proposed changes. How would you make him strong then? He shouldn't need mix tape to be viable. Every killer should be useable man...
I dont think many people would argue against that. He should for sure be made viable and useable without addons as all killers should be. The problem with Legion is his power at its very core is the worst of both worlds. He is extremely unfair and has almost zero counterplay as survivor yet as killer he is trash tier and worse than freddy at securing kills. I agree when people say he needs to be reworked. He needs to be both fair and strong and right now he is neither. I dont have a solution but we cant simply buff and nerf our way out of this. He needs a fundamental rework. Legion is just poorly designed mechanically.
So you're saying we either get this buff or we wait a year or more for a rework...
This is Freddy all over again this buff HAS to go through then rework in a year. Don't let him be useless for a year.
No, not when you can insta down with ultra fast pallet and window jumps there's no counter.

Lol. People are praising devs for removing something they should not have put in a game in a first place.Like SWF.
They put in SWF because there was a demand for it. There's many that got into DBD to play with friends and there's many that would leave if SWF was removed. It wouldn't be a good thing for the game's community to take a huge hit like that. It'd honestly be better to balance the game around SWF than to just remove it.
They actually recently came out and said SWF was always intended and wasn't added because of demand.
And i always think people who constantly complain about SWF are just bad at the game anyway, they are still kill able, just because that one survivor that looped you the entire game is in an SWF doesn't mean he wouldn't have ruined you in a solo match.
Too many bad players.
You got that backwards … people who play in groups are bad at the game. That's why they group together. Their strength is in their numbers, not their skill. It's why they ALWAYS disconnect then they are given a taste of their own medicine. They are the reason killers camp. I wasn't singling out you, but clearly I hit a nerve. Solo players are much better then SWF players.
Clearly hit a nerve? Lol, I play SWF without comms almost every day you didn't hit a nerve but I think it's boring hearing these vocal killers on the forum constantly whine about not being able to kill anyone that's in an SWF when I do it constantly when I play killer.
Too many people are bad at the game and use SWF as an excuse, I've played solo survivor and have killers TELL me I must be in an SWF or the other players must be in an SWF. It's an easy excuse for bad killers.

The more tiles you restrict totems spawning on, the more obvious the places that they're spawning on becomes.
The new walls that came in a few patches ago that look like this <_> but with straight edges have totems spawning in them near gens and the amount of times I've found someone trying to do a gen and haven't checked the spot is getting bigger every day.
TLDR; The more tiles you restrict, the more obvious the spawns become.
I think this might be your first bias comment but I might be wrong tho so forgive me if I am.
If totems don't spawn near generators, totem spawning locations won't be more obvious. There's enough spawning space on every map to utilize meaning totems should still be well hidden overall. Besides, I rather have a hidden totem than a generator totem where every survivor immediately knows where it's at.
Again you guys have absolutely NO idea what bias is. I’m perfectly fine with them not spawning near generators, but they will be found quicker once you start removing places that they can spawn in.
if you have 50 places a totem can spawn in, and people check those places every game that’s some decent time wasted. If you then decide that in the same map there’s only 25 places the totem can spawn that’s a lot less area to check.
its not bias, bias is being completely one sided, making one statement you don’t like isn’t biased. You guys need to stop throwing it around like you have any idea.
@SenzuDuck
Calm down and stop getting all defensive, you act like being slightly bias is bad thing when it's not a bad thing. I actually careless about you being bias, I was trying to say that your reasoning is slightly bias towards survivors."You guys need to stop throwing it around like you have any idea."
I do know what the definition of bias is dude and you don't have to tell me any different so chill out.
(Spoiler)
Now, allow me to explain how you're slightly bias towards survivors. When you said generator totems need to stay, you mentioned that it will take longer in this example you provided here.
"If you have 50 places a totem can spawn in, and people check those places every game that’s some decent time wasted. If you then decide that in the same map there’s only 25 places the totem can spawn that’s a lot less area to check."
However, here's the thing with having generator totems, SURVIVORS DON'T HAVE TO WASTE TIME SEARCHING IF THE TOTEM LOCATION IS IN PLAIN SIGHT OF A GENERATOR. This means no time is wasted when searching for totems. I'd rather have the survivor get 25 places to search than winning the lottery on not getting a generator totem on 50 places. That is why your statement is slightly (not completely) bias.
Near is a very vague word, I'm thinking of a 5 metre radius around the gen, not ones that are literally ontop of it, because not all totems that are near gens are in plain sight, this is my point.
infact, the post even mentions a radius around the gens, that then becomes a pretty large area on the map that totems CANT spawn in.
-

Or alternatively, I'm a better killer than you'll ever be and want balance to the game and think new players should be able to learn and have a fighting chance against killers.
But oh no, mr dwightslifematters thinks every survivor should suffer from rank 20 to rank 1.
I find it funny how you mention I play this game as a killer casually. It's a casual game, for casuals. If it was competitive you're damned sure insta heals and moris would never be a thing. The game is casual, stop tryig to use it as an insult.
I think it's very evident who wants the game to sustain a long life and be balanced, and it certainly isn't you.
OMEGALUL - make new players suffer because you've had a hard time 200 hours in and think you're owed all the kills from rank 20 to rank 1.

New game mode would be interesting, not massively in favour of it as some things ruin lobby queues anyway but we'll see if they can pull it off.
Hopefully at the end of March the last DLC for this road map will be released and I hope they take a month to design more maps to introduce for places like Lerys/Estate/Crotus so you aren't guarenteed certain maps with offerings.
And I'd love map specific basements, would be hot as ######### on lerys to have the basement as a morgue.

Bit off topic but what is OMEGALUL?
It's an emote off twitch, or more precisely it's an emote for an extension of twitch BTTV

Dear OP,
Both sides are toxic, that is all.
You take that back you salty Forum Main!!!
Just the usual "Senzu being biased" post, don't mind me.
Yeaah
I dont really ever see you being biased. Moat times you vote for the game to stay as is, with a few minor fixes(then again this is just what i see when i see your comments on fourm)I think maps are the biggest problem honestly, crotus prenn being one of the best loops for survivors in a long time has never seen a change and it needs one.
It's people that want everything buffed under the sun is what annoys me, and I'm biased for not wanting all these changes, or biased for not defending an 8 minute basement body block.

Yea - Their biggest complaint from beta was always open mics, which you can now turn off. Funny that.BACKSTABBER said:@SenzuDuck said:

Just don't think about if the survivors is swf or not.best balance is providing voice chat without the mute option between all players including the killer
-> so you can blame em all to discharge your frustration for their toxicity (survs will voice chat anyways)
At this points I'm pretty sure killer mains like yourself are just trying to request things that'll kill the game.
no way, expressed toxicity is a must-to trends, just look last year: the nightmare

and in all 318 of your discussions not one of them is to report this bug in the correct section."fix this thing no one is reporting".
It's clearly a bug if this is happening, I've personally never seen it happen or seen anyone else mention it - try reporting it instead of posting something in "General Discussions".
it happens after a survivor unhooks themselves, it's like they adjusted the animation to be shorter but didn't shorten the i-frames, so the survivor has invincibility for about a second and a half longer
My point still stands, people need to report this.
The original post states that they're running "20 - 30 metres" while being invincible.
