  • and in all 318 of your discussions not one of them is to report this bug in the correct section.

"fix this thing no one is reporting".

It's clearly a bug if this is happening, I've personally never seen it happen or seen anyone else mention it - try reporting it instead of posting something in "General Discussions".

In a game about killing people the survivor rate should be 30 percent getting kills should be norm and surviving shouldnt be

It's also a game about surviving, so from your example survivors should survive 70% of the time? 4Head

No it shouldn't, it's a video game, not bully simulator, it should be near or just below 50%. Stop thinking it's anything more than a video game.

This isn't supposed to be some "if monsters were real they'd kill everyone" simulator, it's a video game where both sides are supposed to win, stop thinking that it isn't.

I agree. But it is also iant just about both sides winning(if you mean in the match both sides) as you say its supposed to give both aides an equal chance of winning.

The reason a survivor though should have 50 %or less of a chance and killers have 60%or more of a chance is because of the asymmetric style of the game. Which imo would be great right now if it werent for the audio and scratch glitches that are happening

Survivors are already at a 45% chance of dying, it's pretty good where it is.

I actually like body blocking...don't flame me. I find it useful as killer to block window leaps and sometimes pallets. This use of it is a bit ridiculous....but I even like that survivors can risk doing it too (as frustrating as it is!).

I think, overall, it adds more to the game than takes away. Just like booze....yeah it is terrible how some people abuse it, but do you really want to live WITHOUT it?

They could pretty much prevent this kind of body blocking by making the stairs a little wider, again, I don't mind body blocking if you're waiting a mechanic out BT/Head Traps. But trying to justify 8 minutes of someones time for NOED seems pretty unfair to me.

I don't mind body blocking either but holding the game hostage is when you force someone to DC since they can't win or lose. Yes, I'll agree that 8 minutes is risky because if the survivors would have DC'd thinking the killer was holding the game as hostage, they could've got the killer a temporary ban and it's fair game.

Anyone justifying 8 minutes because other players could do stuff and he hit them afterwards is an idiot.

Is that statement directed to me? I'm saying 8 minutes is risky for the killer, is that a problem?

How is it a risk? He's clearly made the choice to stand their until noed procs, he doesn't care about getting kills or pipping, he's just interested in stopping two players participating in the match.

There was no risk for him because he'd already decided to lose by doing that.

  • @Fenrir said:

Then get rid of time wasting perks like ds and dead hard lithe and balanced landing and shorten loops and remove half of the pallets

Game would be impossible for survivors, at that point you're just asking for survivors to get on the hook for you.

You have to realise devs released stats a month or two back and survivor rate is at something like 45%, it's in a good place, once you start removing even more pallets, removing "time wasting perks like DH/Lithe/BL" that number will drop substantially.

and honestly, any killer that complains about dead hard needs to get back in the realm and practice more, it's takes a whole half second to bait it out and after the killer has seen a survivor use it they'll know they have it.

I want my kills to be rewarding, if I end every chase in 10 seconds (which is fun don't get me wrong but if it was every chase I'd probably quit) I don't get anything out of pipping if I drop every survivor from here to crotus pren in 30 seconds flat because they have nothing then my kills aren't rewarding and I'll stop playing.

Only if you play on low ranks.

Otherwise survivors and killers get roughly the same amount per hour.

Eh, I don't usually feel it's that way in my experience, maybe I'm a terrible survivor.

    But I always find myself getting between 12 - 20K as a survivor and between 20 - 30K

Additionally with BBQ being such a useful perk, in line with its requirements to just hook survivors (once each) it's very easy to net 40/50K every game with a killer where as with survivors WGLF you're fighting other survivors for the unhooks and are more likely to not get full stacks.

    That's my experience anyway

Dev stream explained once that the amount is roughly the same per hour. If survivor has a bad match he can enter directly a new one. Killer is stuck until everyone is dead or left.
So per match they vary, but per hour it's the same amount.

I think we can agree BBQ is probably the number one killer perk by usages.

I don't think their numbers would have taken that into account, BBQ simply gives you double BP for playing the match throughout.

Not to mention some survivors are in the match for the same amount of time as the killer with less gains.

Here you go, just one example I could find quick. Easiest expose in my life. Survivor main. Everyone is calling you, especially you, a survivor main. But yeah, everyone is wrong and you are right like always.
And regarding "ninja edits", the context is still the same. I just changed out some words for better understanding since english isnt my native language.
Seems like u r pretty insecure and search for every single opportunity to go offtopic as soon as u r the target. Good job.

    AHAHAHAHAHAHA

Me explaining why hatch exists is biased?

    AHAHAHAHAH

Yea, lets remove hatch and see all the complaints we get about immersed end game survivors who can't do anything because it means certain death

    MUCH BIAS.

    Exposed #Biased #HesGotMeBoys

and yea seriously, killers on this forum always talk about how much they don't care about the 4K but then also complain when someone points out they're moaning about not getting the 4K

Watch out guys, I'm biased because I understand why the hatch has to exist, but again, this doesn't mean I don't think the hatch mechanic shouldn't be changed to prevent stalemates

You guys are just too smart for me, thanks for showing how biased I am because you think the game would be better off with no hatch which makes stand offs happen anyway?

people don't seem to realise that no hatch means you're automatically put into a standoff against an immersed survivor after you've killed 3.

    In the same thread btw

  • @DwightsLifeMatters said:

Oh look, SenzuDuck the survivor main says that beating swf is easily done. Wasn't it you who said that someone should just eat the DS and give the survivor a free escape into the hatch? Lmao. Just lmao.

I do give survivor hatch if they're on it because I don't do hatch stand offs, my time is far better spent in other matches.

Secondly, if you down the survivor with DS why not eat it? You're just worrying about it until the match is over, better to eat it at the start than down the obsession and have to eat it and be stunned as they leave the exit gate.

With that being said I want DS removed, what's wrong with saying eat the DS? It doesn't mean I don't think DS should be removed.

You guys are so blind to your own bias and think calling me a survivor main means absolutely anything when I've probably played more killer than you guys ever will.

Again, you're the seventh person - link me a comment that I have made that is undoubtedly survivor biased not me just disagreeing with someone.

I apologise for not defending 8 minute body blocks in the basement, if that makes me biased than god knows what you guys are

    OMEGALUL

Never dodged a lobby in my life, never had to come onto the forums and cry about it either.

Also nice ninja edit of your post: you guys seem to memorise my comments so well but can never link too them, you guys love making stuff up, it's beautiful :)

Slug all you want, camp all you want tunnel all you want - I've never had issues with these things and have never said people shouldn't do them.

  • It's definitely not camping.

It's also not camping if you have someone on the hook at end game with gates open.

Survivors are plebs sometimes and will just try to put you down, it's absolutely not camping, you're doing damage to these survivors it's not your fault that they're hook rushing.

Didn't noob get banned for item hacking? People just speculated it was something to do with the video because he was banned shortly after the video was released.

You're comparing something that makes a bad player marginally better at a specific killer, to something that offers varying degrees of usefulness to a varying number of players each match that it can be utilized, which is further complicated by how good at the game each individual using it is.

and honestly 4-Man SWFs aren't as common it's more likely a 2-Man from my experience and if 2man groups are the reason you're "getting boned" then you need to get more practice.

But no, I don't think it would get you banned, no one cares tbh.

It doesnt show up in the game, it shows up in an overlay over the game

    Semantics.

No, its a fundamental difference which is the reason why it cant be detected, just like MLGA cant (but that doesnt matter anyway, there are whitelisted overlay programs)

Again, you have no idea what semantics are. One actually gives you an advantage by showing you something the devs don't, but that's fine like I said no one cares, you're arguing semantics as to whether it's in game or on the screen, it still would be used in game for an advantage.

Also, a comms program is whitelisted but you guys seem to argue the toss and say people should be banned for 3rd party software OMEGALUL

And you're arguing with me again, just to argue - comparing comms, an outside program, to a piece of software that overlays on your screen to give you an advantage is incorrect, they're not comparable in anyway.

and again, only bad killers complain about comms - you can easily beat SWF if you're competent enough.
and heck, if you don't beat them, maybe they're just better than you? Couldn't possibly be that though, could it?

Introducing voice chat, in and of itself would make the problem worse by leaps and bounds.
Voice chat is what's actually game breaking with SWFs, not that we could stop third parties.
If they were as uninformed as the average survivors, they'd ve closer to fine.

Before I get on board with any notion of making Solos as powerful as SWFs, i really want to hear some actual ideas on how to make Killers stronger to compensate.

I'd be less bothered going against an SWF if I knew the ######### couldn't hurt my blood points too much, and I was being paid for the difficulty spike.

I really hope they never add voice chat, voice chat killed games like F13 & SOS because racists & homophobic people would just spam chat with things and streamers were too scared to go near it.

It would be a shame for people like HybridPanda, Cahlaflour & Streamdad ETC have to stop playing this game.

and yes, you can mute them but sometimes people forget and most people will just mute everyone anyway.

This idea that "because he eventually killed you" and "he didn't prolong the match" is exactly why we have little shits like that still running around in the game.

In any other game something like this would immediately be labeled as greifing, no matter how long the time (unless you're playing Rust, in which case you better be prepared to be someone's little prisoner)

In any other game, one team standing in the way to block the other from doing their objective would have been fixed a long, long time ago.

Bodyblocking shouldn't be in the game for anyone. But survivors wanted it as a tactic, so it's only fair that killers get to use it as a tactic too.

The bias is strong. I don’t get how people don’t see the difference between survivor body blocks and killer body blocks.

    SURVIVORS TAKE DAMAGE

    KILLERS DO NOT

you risk something to block as a survivor you risk nothing as a killer.

this guy waited 8 minutes, after 2/3 most players would assume a hostage game and DC.

A killer bodyblocking a guy in basement risks losing all map pressure and geting genrushed

The killer could have gotten more kills by hooking the guy, camping the hook and using his noed on another survivor and then camping that hook. Easy 2k, instead of the 1k he got.

While he bodyblocked the basement, the survivors had free reign of of the map. It's in the same vein as camping a hook, only WAAAAY less efficient. Camping a hook at least makes sense because you are getting your kill while taking a survivor out of the match...plus it's only 2 mins.

Bodyblocking in this way is not a good strategy unless you are solely trying to frustrate that survivor. And if the survivor wasn't taunting the killer, then it is truly a dick move.

But we also don't know what happened pre-bodyblock! Maybe this survivor was teabagging and taunting...in which case, the in-game response makes sense.

That's quite irrelevant. You are still holding someone's game hostage for 5+ minutes. This should be bannable.

But it isnt, just like its not bannable to sit on the map somewhere after the gates have been opened.
Yes its bad design, but it is what it is.

If you have a video and proof that a survivor is in your game after gates are powered for upwards of ten minutes and you report it I'm certain it would count as a mark against your account tbh.

Blocking for an entire 8 minutes is on the killer, there is no excuse for that, no reason to do, at that point you're making the choice to lose, you're not playing properly, he COULD have played the game properly and gained more points but HE decided not too, that's not an excuse or a reason to body block.

Find one actual biased comment I've ever made and I'll accept it, until then stop making up lies, you don't know what biased means.

This comment you just made is biased. The lack of comments about op survivors is also biased considering most agree it's true/fact.

You always take survivor side. Never killers.

So complaining about a killer doing something that's highly questionable is survivor bias when again. As far as survivors being op that has nothing to do with the post at hand other than as a convenient troll distraction from your post.

My post wasn't about the post at hand. It was about the person posting and their history. I would've posted that in any thread/topic.

Yet I keep asking people to show me all these survivor biased comments I keep making yet nobody has, but it's very clear no one knows what bias is when I'm apparently biased for not defending an 8 minute body block.

there is no reason to body block for that long for one kill when he could have got multiple playing the match properly. He did it purely out of spite and you guys will still defend it.

If a survivor stood on on a rock for 8 minutes while others did gens I’d crucify them too, but this is a killer taking the game hostage for two players, not a survivor.

Having said that, the fact that he said "next time you'll get tunneled as Nurse" is why I said killers shouldn't be able to see survivor names. Some get stroppy when you call them out for camping, or sometimes just because you won and they single you out next game to make life miserable. If I tbag then fair enough but if I'm playing normally then there's no need.

Map design is this games biggest problem.

And? 8 minutes to body block someone in the basement is not the same as taking a hit, you guys call me biased but when it comes to something like this you'll defend it to the moon and back it's so sad.

I dare to say that 8 minutes bodyblockign someone is more risky than taking a single hit if we are talking about losing the game

Ok, you're honestly just too biased to understand the difference.

@SenzuDuck i think he was semi joking when he made that. As a killer who does it is guarenteed a loss. But i do agree with you on the fact that body blocking isn't a proper playstyle for a killer(except when they litterally play themselves by putting themeselves in a corner l so you pin them to hit them once) but through awhole 8 mins just... Means you ether a troll or suck at hunting

They seriously don't get it I have no issue with body blocking but to defend 8 minutes of it, while the match still progresses the people that are locked out of the match can't do anything, that's absolutely ridiculous. I think that's unfair but apparently it makes me biased? these guys are high af.

Why dont you explain it to me then?

    It's honestly hopeless.

If a killer is body blocking for 8 minutes THEYVE CHOSEN to lose, that is not an excuse that is not a "but it's worse for them" at that point they don't care how many points they get, they've done it to prevent someone playing the match because the can, not because it helps them in anyway.

Unbelievable how you people think this isn't the case, at the 2 minute mark the killer has chosen to lose and they don't care, they're doing it purely out of spite.

So you agree with me. 8 Minutes is a guaranteed lose while you can still win a game after taking a hit from teh killer.

    Glad we agree

    Yep, you're clueless.

Because it's coming from you, Senzu.

You can't see anything except the bias up your own ass. So most of us have written you off as irrelevant a long ass time ago.

    OMEGALUL

You're just bad at the game like the rest of the killers here.

Honestly comparing an 8 minute body block to a 2 seconds body block and calling it the same. At that point the killer has chosen to not play the game, they've chosen to lose and there's nothing the survivor can do, they're locked out of the game.

But of course, body blocking the hook for 2 seconds absolutely locks the killer out of playing the game, right?

I keep asking people who call me biased to prove it with comments yet not a single person has ever linked me to an actual biased comment, and not something of me just disagreeing with someone, if I'm so biased, it shouldn't be hard to find a biased comment, I look forward to you also not proving I'm biased, because you wont reply with anything, good luck sweetheart.

I'm the biased one but ya'll trying to defend an 8 minute body block OMEGALUL

Dick move, but fair play as far as the rules go.

It's my understanding that as long as it's not a case where he afk's for 20 minutes and never comes back till you all disconnect, then it's bannable. But the fact that he was just using NOED in a rather simplistic but effective matter means he never intended to delay the game - only use his perk.

If that's bannable, then it's bannable for survivors to run around the map another 10 minutes in front of the exit instead of leaving.

    Just saying.

How are you guys so blind to bad killer tactics?

A survivor can't do anything to a body blocking killer, a killer can force survivors out of the gate. You guys really do only see one side it's ridiculous.

  • @KiraElijah said:
First off, yea. You’re biased. Second, he was just saying killer also risks crap when they block

It uses PWYF and rancor to stalk obsession whole game and them mori them at the end without going for anyone else. I had one game like that against me so I decided to try that build myself and I'm having so much fun with it.(Especially after heavy DS games with 4 people running it)

Don't make such a big deal of dyiing. If he kept you there for ever only to grief you then I'd undertand you but he did not.

Yea being a good team mate and trying to save someone means you should be stuck in the basement for 8 minutes.

You take a risk to body block as a survivor you take no risk body blocking as a killer.

I swear some of you don't actually play this game.

Even better design, imagine you’re trying to break from the norm of the game and run a sneaky Devour build or a fun end game build. Ooops, killer, you [BAD WORD] up. You killed someone. Now the entire enemy team knows your perks. Bye Devour. Bye NOED. Bye Blood Warden.

If the devs gave a ######### about nerfing Dstrike, it would have been nerfed long ago. If they cared about balanced gameplay they’d have never introduced it in the first place.

Personally if that survivor was nowhere near the hatch, I’d have probably just eaten the DS and tried to down her again. But when you get hit with the toxic survivors it makes you do things you wouldn’t normally do. Sometimes you have to camp or BM some manners into these plebs.

Oh god, more crying over maybe not getting the 4th kill.

    A stalemate;
"a situation in which further action or progress by opposing or competing parties seems impossible."

You could have easily picked them up, lets not pretend this is a stalemate, this is you trying to protect your pride by not losing your precious 4th kill and probably coming on here to cry about it if you had.

It's only one kill, seriously - not an issue.

You are probably the most annoying "killer main" on this forum. constantly talking ######### to other killer mains because they want to 4k once in awhile. Why is that such a horrible thing to you? In this situation, it seems she earned this hook. DS is preventing her from getting that hook. She has a right to be upset about an OP perk forcing her to sit here and wait. "Oh but she doesn't HAVE to sit there and wait!" Yeah, but then she might not get the kill at all. It's a ######### situation. Stop giving people ######### for expressing their opinions and displeasure in certain game mechanics. That is literally what this forum is for. If you can't deal with killer mains saying they are unhappy about specific things then I suggest staying in the Survivor subforum. Every comment you make just makes me roll my eyes so hard. KiLLeR mAiN bTw!!! You always have to tell everyone you're a killer main before you go off on a rant about killers. Stop being so self righteous. No one cares. If survivors can want to all escape then killers can want the 4k from time to time as well, it doesn't make them entitled or wrong, so stop being a dick to every killer main on the forum who doesn't have their head so far up BHVR's ass that they can't see the bad mechanics in this game.

I'm not a killer main, I don't main anything, I play back and fourth between both, I'm rank one on both every season, I play them both, why is that such a hard concept?

Besides, why are you replying to me here, I'm still waiting for you to reply to that comment where you say everything I say is bias and I've asked for proof of that, why haven't you replied to that?

DS Is a perk, and as it stands it really isn't too bad right now, he's at end game there's probably not many pallets he could have easily caught her, he's already hooked her so she probably doesn't even have DS yet but his ego can't stand losing that one kill :ohnoes:

  • @ThirdSealOPplzNerf said:
Anyone that plays really well for the 4k just for the hatch to appear for failing the objective to rob the 4k is bad design.

The killer didn't even pick the survivor up, I doubt the hook were that far away all he's worried about it DS, that's how the perk is until they change it, it's one kill and it really doesn't matter.

He complains that the survivor didn't crawl about but are we really going to believe this killer who does nothing but moan about survivor would have really picked that survivor up for fear of hurting is ego and losing a kill to dstrike? Give me a break, he has 4 stacks, so he's already hooked this person, who's to say they haven't used it already?
