Your experience is not a universal fact, so toddle on, I don’t wait hours for lobby’s and don’t get dodged at a 90% rate.
if the game wait time was 1 hour between lobbies, and you are dodged 90% of the time, than your 2600 hours is irrelevant as only 10% of that time has been spent in game the rest is just lobby time... your numbers and facts not mine

I never said I get dodged 90% of the time? See, you like to pull numbers out of thin air. I said I get dodged dozens of times a week, while I only have 10 - 15 DCs a week as killer, I can understand that following simple conversation is hard for some people but this is ridiculous.
So toddle on, learn to follow a conversation and get back to me honey.
Wow chill, why do you assume I’m speaking to you, it’s not a reply to you, it’s a reply to the OP which is where the number comes
from,, so who’s having difficulty with this conversation?Imagine trying to act smart.
You directly say "2600" hours which is the amount of hours I accidentally quoted to you in a comment but quickly removed as I didn't mean to tag you in it.
Nowhere in this thread does the number 2600 show up except for the amount of hours that I removed after tagging you.

I’d rather be dodged in lobby then load into game, and have 3 survivors DC because of ruin or they don’t like the killer... that happens way more often then a lobby dodge
LOL, no it doesn't.
yeah, cuz survivors ragequitting when something happens they dont like is a myth and would never happen in the game. there are even ppl walking around with names like "Legion = DC" and stupid stuff like that.
little heads up: killers arent the only ones dodging stuff they dont like. the only difference is, that survivors actually get banned for doing it too often, while killers dont. therefore, the killer doesnt ruin the whole game experience for all the other people and instead just makes you go in a different lobby, which takes ~20 seconds.
That's cool and all, but all I said is killers dodge lobbies way more than "3 survivors dc bc of (insert thing here)".
Never once did I say that survivors don't DC or dodge things once hey're in the game.
I've had many killers DC because of maps, totems being broken, having a pallet slammed on them, being blinded ETC, and when a killer does DC it ruins the match far more than one or two survivors DCing, the killer gets points and the survivors can try to do something, both sides have DCers, but survivors don't lobby dodge unless it's for ping or they're using MLGA, which wont work soon anway
Both sides are bad but to imply more matches have 3 survivors DC than killers dodge lobbies is ridiculous.
Edit - also you say "it only takes 20 seconds" yea when it happens 4 - 8 times in a row it takes a lot longer than you think.
The law of mathematical averages would disagree with you, and pretty sure a lot of legion players over the last month probably would too
Your over exaggerated comment is not related at all to "the law of mathematical averages".
I get dodged dozens of times a week while I usually see about 10-15 DCs from my killer matches a week, the law of mathematical averages would disagree with you.

oh, im sorry but you seem to have misunderstood me there.
i never claimed that it would happen more often.
i even explained why it does: survivors get banned for doing so and killers dont, as the killers can dodge before the game even started, thereofre not being forced to DC.
just imagine this: survivors can now see the killer they face
guess what? nurse players would not find a single lobby anymore. same goes for billy, michael, huntress, basically all the top tier killers.the thing you didnt seem to understand was, that this is a twobladed sword. it can work in both directions.
What you've just said make 0 sense, we're talking about people DCing Vs Lobby Dodging. I say that killers lobby dodge way more often than there are 3+ DC's
You come back with a sarcastic comment insinuating that my comment before it implies that I deny survivors DC (hint, I dont).
and now you're talking about if survivors could see the killer they wouldn't get into a match? Hint, survivors don't and wont ever see the killer they're facing, for good reason.
Killers dodge for stupid af reasons and it's normally not because of ping, killers dodge for characters used, items, certain names, players they know are good, clothing the survivor is wearing, possible swf.
Im no pretending survivors wouldn't dodge nurses, but most of the nurse/billy/huntress matches I play don't have anyone that dodge the match immediately after knowing what the killer is.

sorry, but im not interested in a round with 2 or more toolboxes (i dont run ruin), 2 or more medkits (ive gotten instahealed so many times now, i actually dodge these. its annoying. you down someone and he's instantly back at full health .-.) or 2 or more flashlights (maybe ill play the round, maybe not).
also, i might just not be in the mood to play against certain people. i know some names by now and sometimes (especially if its my first round of the day) i do not want to play against these, as they would completely demolish me.
or sthg irl happened and i had to close the lobby.
and here are a ton of reasons, besides the common "SWF group" reason. i usually dont dodge these btw.
Killer complain about self care, then complain when survivors use medkits to heal because it "might" have an insta on it, good god,
i dont complain about medkits, i complain abut the instaheal add ons, as ive had a ton of toxic swf groups with their 4 medkits and instaheals annoy me in the past.
before the winter event dropped, i never dodged this item, but then some people just had to carry it to excess and thats my answer.
when the general number of instaheals decreased, i will probaply play against them again, but right now there are too many of these things around. (ill still dodge when its an obvious SWF group though)

I don't DC ever unless body blocks/hacks, how ever having a legion run backwards and you having no chance to do anything is the most boring thing ever, it's not fun to play against and I can understand why some people do DC from it.

That's not an excuse, it's LITERALLY, without a doubt ONE HUNDRED PERCENT FACT that GENERATORS are a survivors objective, and a killer that is playing well can STOP THEM.and I didn't mention pressure at all, I mentioned playing well...

Exactly like tunneling and camping are playstyles for Killers to help them getting their objective done.
While I surely agree that doing gens is the main objective for Survivors, I also understand that getting kills is the main objective for Killers. I've seen you complaining about campers and tunnelers during your streams, which is totally fine but is actually no different to Killers complaining about Gen Rush Squads. If you have the chance to dodge a facecamper (hi MLGA) you will dodge them because they are campers. If a Killer faces a gen rush squad, they'll dodge them aswell. It's an eye for an eye, both sides provide playstyles that suck to deal with for the other side and it's only logical that they try to avoid those.
The problem is that gen rush squads don't just repair gens at a ridiculous time-efficiency, they also use voice communication to "play optimally" in all other aspects. I can deal with gen rush because I can make up for that with map pressure but against 4 survivors that have constant, global map awareness it's hard to get map pressure, depending on the Killer.
How dare you, filthy killer main.
For camping and tunneling, other rules apply
Except nobody mentioned camping and tunneling except for him, which I've stated multiple times that that's fine if you want to do it but lets not pretend camping helps a killer unless you get a 4Head team that doesn't do gens.
and then I bet it's those same killers complaining about survivors doing gens when they're sat staring at a survivor on the hook until they're dead.
oh and don't forget, Master - doing gens is an excuse... right? LUL

Thr huge difference though between camping and “gen rushing” is that camping never really makes sense until end game, you’ll always get less points if you sit at the hook and do nothing, survivors HAVE to do tend to progress, killers don’t HAVE to camp to progress, it infact halts their progression.
I also don’t use MLGA and don’t dodge anyone as killer, I also don’t come on the forums and cry about the speed of a match, I move on and focus on what I did incorrectly. -

You are missing the point here...For you it's totally unacceptable to play against a toxic SWF, and that's the problem. A Toxic SWF is in fact nothing other then a group of survivors who communicate and are in fact, GOOD AT THE [BAD WORD] GAME.I think you confuse "being good at the game" with "being toxic in the game".
You can be a good player without being toxic and you can be toxic while sucking at the game.
...but that explains why so many players have trouble understanding why no one wants to face toxic SWFs.
That is exactly my point.
Thing is, in this game more than any I've ever played, the difference between what's skilled and what's considered toxic by the community is so vastly different.
Many killers will tell you that running DS is toxic, when they run NOED themselves, which is considered toxic by most survivors.
Both of these things have perfect counters, DS has enduring, NOED has small game. If you have problems with NOED, run small game and see how much NOED will bother you. If DS is bothering you, run enduring to reduce that 4 second stun to 1 second(slightly more because of the animation).
I'm just gonna address this lie. NOED actually has a perfect counter called "breaking the totems". DS can only be mitigated, but it does not have a perfect counter.
There is absolutely nothing the Killer can do to prevent the activation of DS; it's all on the Survivor hitting a very easy skill check. On the other hand, the Survivors can break totems, which actually does prevent the activation of NOED.
So no, they don't both have "perfect counters". One of them has a perfect counter, the other has ways to mitigate - but never completely nullify - its effect.Yea this annoys the heck out of me - while i absolutely despise NOED you have a hard counter to it, enduring doesn't prevent the effect of DStrike and you still lose the time spent on a chase, NOED & DS aren't comparable, the only reason people compare them is because they're both annoying AF.
Ban DStrike

Who mentioned Sabo Squads? No one cares about sabo squads, they don't play time-efficient. Gen rush squads are the problem.
Either way - doing gens is their objective, if you play well it wont matter how "fast" they do the gens.

"Genrush is just the survivor doing his objective, just apply map pressure lul"
That's not an excuse, it's LITERALLY, without a doubt ONE HUNDRED PERCENT FACT that GENERATORS are a survivors objective, and a killer that is playing well can STOP THEM.
and I didn't mention pressure at all, I mentioned playing well...

Clearly you haven't played killer to know, come back when you have experienced it. Most people commenting on this in favour of SWF REALLY need to play killer and stop being a coward.SWF Sabo squads aren't hard to beat mate, just stop stressing out mid game and take your time.
Who mentioned Sabo Squads? No one cares about sabo squads, they don't play time-efficient. Gen rush squads are the problem.
Either way - doing gens is their objective, if you play well it wont matter how "fast" they do the gens.
Ah the classical excuse

I have lots of fun playing this game tbh, had a sabo squad on estate today and absolutely rinsed them.
10/10 would play again.

What a scam! You don't need the clothing, therefore you can grind it out or pay up. They need to make money, it's how businesses exist.
U.S. citizens seem to have no problem taking corporate interest sides and be happy getting butthumped by them. They even defend themselves getting screwed over like this guy here.
I'm from the UK, good job detective.
You don't need all the cosmetics, these numbers are grossly misrepresented because the grind is for ALL outfits, not the ones you want, if you want them all prepare to grind.

You have a problem with the school outfit but not the almost entirely naked default outfit?
It's a video game, give it a rest, no one is buying the school outfit and drooling all over their computer before bed.

It's the least sexualised outfit she'll have.

But i was wrong again. As i was about the mentioned hatch.

Based on a suspiciously high amount of instant escapes after the other survivor died.Is there any proof of this happening? I've not seen a single video of this major bug that's apparently rampant in... only your matches?
I should have been more specific. My bad! I meant that a suspiciously high amount of instant escapes on my matches. (i thought this would be clear, but here we are, discussing about little stuff)
But at least i´m able to admit when i´m wrong and don´t move the goalpost and try to ridiculize others.
Able to admit you're wrong? I don't argue about facts, I argue about opinions, opinions can't really be wrong, if you think DS is OP and I don't, I'm not wrong, I just have a different opinion, I don't argue with mods who tell me I'm wrong and then try to blame it on a bug. I'd love to see a comment chain of me "moving the goalpost".
Here is a comment chain of you moving the goalpost.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/30884/the-devs-don-t-actually-answer-questions-during-their-stream/p1
No, i´m not going to point out exactly where you started. Since you won´t read it in the first place. For example, @powerbats and i often disagree. But we never get personal or take it personal and we are mature enough to continue with a friendly conversation in the next thread.
Instead of carrying a grudge over to every thread and seeking a way to discredit the other person. You didn't know how hatch works, telling someone that arguing with you is silly because you don't know what you're talking about most of the time isn't a grudge. I knew how hatch worked after the first week of playing, I can't take anyone seriously who has to be argued with by two moderators into seeing how a mechanic works.
You keeping on insisting on that one time to discredit me, sure isn´t a grudge.
Ok first point, I asked for proof of this said bug, seeing as you're the only one experiencing it, if it was a major bug I'm sure there'd be some proof of this happening out there.
and as for me "moving the goal post" yea, having multiple conversations with different people about different things is really moving the goal post, I apologise that multiple people want to cry at me that survivors aren't dying enough.
and yes I will, not to discredit you but it shows your lack of understanding of the game, such a simple mechanic like that hatch, one more gen than there are survivors, and you still argue the toss and think you're correct despite two moderators telling you otherwise, you LITERALLY think what you say is correct regardless of two people who have been playing since beta telling you otherwise, OMEGALUL.

@Tsulan knows how to fix things properly.
I know right? (not being sarcastic, I slowly stopped running self care due to it being a useless slot in my opinion)
The meta perks (DS, SC, SB) let people get to higher ranks than they deserve. They make the game to easy. A survivor isn't meant to be self sufficient.
@Tsulan
Believe me when i say that those perks are overrated. My swf group only has 1 DS user AT MOST, we don't heal ourselves and balanced landing is better than sprint burst. Only good killers can rekt us.
When i face survivors using the build you mention they are usually the first ones to die.Honestly theres no point arguing with Tsulan, up until two weeks ago he didn't know how hatch worked and argued with two moderators about it, dude doesn't know a lot about the game considering how vocal he is.

So your solution to the hatch is to just give the kill to the killer?OMEGALUL, sounds fair.
Its a solution to a standoff where survivors can just wait untill the killer no longer wants to play. But yeah I guess you think survivors should get free escapes in all "fairness".
Not really - I think both should have a fair chance to escape.
If a survivor has survived the onslaught that a killer can create then they deserve a chance to escape.
For the hatch to spawn everyone has to be dead and at least 2 gens have to be done, that's a fair amount of work to grant a CHANCE at escaping for a survivor.
If the killers brings the game back towards the end, 4 gens and one survivor is left they DESERVE A CHANCE, not a free escape.
But sure, paint me as the biased survivor when one of your comments is "This suggestion is pure to get rid of the stalemate only survivors can win". Both the killer and survivor suffers from stubborness on both sides when there is a hatch stand off, not just the killer, but you'd like to make it seem that way, eh?
Again, hatch needs a rework, last kill should be earned by the killer, not handed to them, and the escape should be earned and not handed to them.

Moris can kill before reaching the 2nd hook stage.
Yet In that time chasing you finally downing you, about 1-2 gens are popped. Not even factoring looping. Or flashlight saves, or even bodyblocking....
I'm all for keys being nerfed, but moris are basically the killer equivalent. I feel like it's sorta' silly to want one removed while defending the other.
Is it really though? Because I technically have to chase and down someone twice to finally mori someone. And if you factor in all that additional stuff, you'll barely have time to use that mori, and if you do you can get 1k. I agree with Vietfox that competent killers can 4k, but any competent killer vs a swf or even rank 1 survivors are going to have an extremely difficult time. Ruin barely does anything in high ranks. Because Survivors are used to finding totems. However, when you finally get to at least down or touch someone 1-2 gens are popped, it's madness!
Then you have the key, which is just broken.
Mori's have conditions similar to a key, the only difference is the condition for survivors tonuse the key is way more easier than the killers. We have to hook someone to use the mori. They have to have at least a 2-3 gens done and find the hatch (which isn't hard to find these days considering people have played this game thousands of hours), no time taken to open it, and viola, everyone can escape just right then and there.
If all four survivors are alive then all gens have to be done for the hatch to spawn, they're basically out anyway, if you killer one survivor they can leave after 4 gens, if you kill 2 survivors they can leave after 3 gens.
They still have to put a lot of work in as well as avoid you to use the key.

Really in that post they do list a white list and a blacklist. From that post:
Using 3rd party software or other tools to gain any kind of unfair advantage that wasn’t intended by the game, except if they have been whitelisted by us. We are not banning for the use of communication apps. This means just what it says. Is it a program you are using to gain an advantage? Is it something other than a communication App? If yes, technically a violation.
I stopped my complaining once I read this.
While I do think it SHOULD be against the rules, they'd have no way to police it. And won't be doing anything to stop it.
Yea, lets make a game mode that you play with your friends but ban people from talking, lol.
SWF ain't that hard buddy.

If you go strictly be the definition of the report system, then usage of discord/ts is indeed bannable
But just like MLGA; the devs cant do anything
And if we go by your loose definition of "bannable" Windows 10 is as well.
All the programs on my PC are 3rd party - please stop acting as if Discord is "bannable" they've stated they wont do anything about it, creating a game mode for friends to play together and expect voice chat to be against the rules is RIDICULOUS.
Just stop with the constant rhetoric that there's a chance of getting banned using comms when they clearly state it isn't bannable.

Then explain why MLGA is bannable (in theory), but voice comms arent. Both fall into the same category according to this rule
HOW do they fall into the same category? Windows 10 is in the same category, spotify is in the same category, password managers are in the same category, you just can't let go that you're wrong and have to grasp at all straws to try and come back.
Stop being so pedantic, MLGA looks at the connections coming through DBD which is SHIFTY at best. MLGA also isn't bannable ITS JUST NOT WHITELISTED anymore.
Why can't you get it into your head that Whitelists, Blacklists, and NOT ON EITHER are VERY different.
They just say they don't want you using MLGA because it's doing things they don't want it to do (Blocking certain IPs so you can dodge). They can't detect MLGA and it's not doing anything more than what other connection monitoring softwares do except it's scanning specifically for connections coming through DBD because it was made for DBD.

And it's not that they've explained it incorrectly, it's that you want to twist the words so you can claim SWF comms is bannableCan you give me a link to this blacklist you are talking about
The forum post doesnt cover a blacklistBlacklists are hidden, there's no point advertising the programs you're trying to stop people using.
Hidden?
So how are the players supposed to know what is bannable? That doesnt make any sense atRegardless of whether you think it makes sense or not it's how it is, people should know the things they're using are a conflict of TOS.
They've stated communication apps aren't ban-able, therefore you can stop lying to people on the forum.
