I think there's a cooldown because otherwise, a good Nurse, Oni etc, could get a slugging spree going rather easily and essentially murder the gens in the process. It would be literally impossible to survive against a Good Nurse with Surge and ruin combined. I definitely think Surge needs a buff of some sort but there's a cooldown for a reason.
Ruin already has fast regression and you aren't going to be working on a gen next to a good nurse so I don't think they would need surge.

Yeah like I said, that's one I'll take. I never run through a pallet and ignore it during a chase, I'm not sure what your monitors are like but as I watched the video again I honestly didn't see the pallet that you're referring to. I know that there was one right in the room (which I wouldn't have gone after as it would have meant basically rushing TO the killer) and I know that there were some visible in the distance at the end of the clip, but as for a pallet as I tried to get away and make my way outside I honestly don't see the one you're referring to. Might be time to adjust my brightness a bit.
On the lower floor there was a pallet to your right at around the 12 second mark.
-
Maybe when they change Myers add-ons
-
He is a bit outdated. Hopefully when he gets his add-on changes they give him some buffs

I'm glad that I and some others have been bitching enough about this for others to start taking notice.
I'm fine with the Wraith being able to cloak. I'm fine with the Wraith being able to move super fast while cloaked. All I ask is that when he decides to uncloak, I have a fair chance to get some distance, not just let him have a free hit every time. That was never happening to me before his update, now it happens on a consistent basis. It's too much.
I just posted this in another thread and am not trying to spam my channel (these vidoes are actually unlisted anyway) but I post this as an example. I'm in a room with one exit, a hole in the floor. There's a breakable door. The SECOND that I hear that door being hit, I bail. At the 11 second mark if you look SUPER CLOSE you can see just the Wraith's one foot uncloaking. In other words I jumped up and ran before the killer was even in the room, I was down the next floor before the Wraith even uncloaked, but he quickly ran over and was able to hit me anyway. What, in this scenario, did I do wrong? What could I have done differently to avoid the hit? In what way could I have defended myself against a free hit here?
You did get quite a bit of distance on him. You even could of made it to a pallet but you ran past it.
-
It's a very map dependent perk. Indoor maps work the best

Its not a bad idea, but on some killers this could be problematic with Monitor and Abuse
They could just make it so it doesn't stack with it. Just like fov perks
-
They could have made it like the nurse addon when a successful hit gives you a speed boost. But even that doesn't sound good for an ultra rare
-
You could have it reveal survivors outside the terror radius with a successful blood fury hit. But it would just need some kind of downside

One thing I’m concern is Open Handed + Kindred.
Free killer aura in 32 meters from hooks is kind of broken, especially in small maps.
Lets be real, it’s very common for killers to be within that range while chasing another survivor. This just makes mindgame impossible until survivor is unhooked
If you are chasing a survivor while another is on hook then a 3rd survivor has to unhook the hooked survivor. I don't think people would want to abuse the range just to extend the loop longer since the killer would be in a good spot with pressure.

I do play Nurse at rank 1. Maybe, just maybe, I'm not a bad Nurse that tries to predict survivors and actually knows how to blink properly?
How can you blink properly when survivors use los blockers on say an indoor map? You have to predict where they're going.

In the same way that camping pallets counters Spirit, sure.
Play as nurse in red ranks and you will see that Los blockers and unpredictable movement counter her. There is counter play for every killer.

Wait, Nurse has counterplay? That's news to me. Normally you just have to luck out and get a bad Nurse that falls for mindgames.
But yeah, Spirit needs to give survivors more info. I don't think that her being strong is a problem, like it or not the game needs strong killers as much as it needs mediocre ones, but Spirit is strong because she makes all survivors really dumb.
One of her most effective plays is to let go of your keyboard/controller. I feel like that sums her up quite nicely.
Los blockers and unpredictable movement counter her

All it did was make an add-on that was considered a must-run on Wraith base-kit. He's the same exact killer, with the new ability to run other add-ons while being somewhat viable at the same time.
Imagine if they buffed trapper to have two traps base kit. I bet some people would say some of his add-ons are very strong too.

The only problem I have with Spine chill is how it makes promotion useless

But then the survivors get pushed towards you immediately, and they'll be able to see you setting up traps. It's counterproductive.
They will get pushed towards your traps and you will still have some time before they get there
-
It's good for setup killers which is why people use it on trapper and hag. It gives you time to set up traps without gens popping right away.
-
They should remove the status effect trap add-ons and possibly replace them with crouch movement speed or just increase the base crouch movement speed
-
She needs to have the same treatment as PH where she can't put traps x meters away from a hook. This will remove the camping part of her. Any good hag player would be fine with that change.

I was unhappy when I found out they removed it.don't know why they did that, they could've kept it with the aura reading (which should be 10 metres) and it would've be a good perk to use but now it just made it a perk no one will use except for pig adapt
Yeah it could use a buff so it actually gets used

@Axe said:
I play 60% killer 40% survivor.
What would make me play more survivor would be a WGLF buff or more blood points in general.
They just need to make health states count then it would be perfect

@Adeloo said:
and does Hangman's Trick work against it still ?
They changed hangman's trick awhile ago to show survivors near hooks instead of respawn hooks
-
You get a lot better at the game by playing both sides. You learn the strengths and weaknesses for each killer. As well as how to counter each killer when playing survivor.

Had 2 people who ran breakdown, no mither, soul guard, & boil over. I was “slug camping” them. Play scummy with the exploit, I’m going to play scummy as well
The only problem is if you focus on those survivors you will throw the game and the others will finish the gens
-
If I don't turn off cross play I will get frame drops.
For killer if a survivor uses an exhaustion perk.
For survivor if the killer uses sloppy butcher, franklin's, or plays as freddy, and huntress with any of the status effect addons. If another survivor searches a chest while you are on the hook it will sacrifice you.

@xEa said:
You actually name the reasons why people dislike Slinger:
"Doging his gun the best you can" - You cant. He is missing, you are not dodging. Leaving ALL in the hand of the killer.
"Throwing pallets early" - Extremly boring. The same reason why many people dislike Clown.
On top of that, he has a very small terror radius. This on a killer who can quick scope with a long range rifle in a game where the opposite site is not able to shoot back is annoying and not to mention totally out of place.
That same argument with Slinger missing his shots could be said about huntress. I could say you didn't dodge the hatchet the huntress just missed.

so you move faster than normal while holding corrupt?
Yes if you have the tablet addon

The tablet only increases your corrupt holding speed so not charging. You normally move at 110% when holding your corrupt purge. The tablet increases your corrupt holding speed by 7.5%.

He needs buffs / rework.
I personally think he needs the following changes:
- Shape has no stalking limits on individual survivors - limiting his oneshot ability when there's oni is just silly.
- Shape can kill survivors on dying hooks that he has stalked for some amount of time (which would be indicated by them becoming red now instead of indicating that he can't stalk them anymore) - that could replace the removal of his mori addons that could be subsequently reworked + keep his character that he doesn't really listen to entity
- EW3 makes his proximity impossible to tell (survivors always hear 8-4 meter proximity theme when they are inside his terror radius)
- EW3 increases ALL actions' speed, not just windows.
That would sound great if Myers could mori survivors fully stalked on death hook

I play Console only queue's and they are fine.
I won't be turning on Crossplay until the Devs acknowledge the shitshow that is Console DBD, which they promised to fix way back in March of 2019.
tell me that's okay. I wasn't even in a chase, the game just decided it was gonna freeze.
I get that everytime a survivor uses an exhaustion perk or getting hit with sloppy or freddy
-
They could change black box from the mini blood warden to giving freddy his old power.
-
Make black box like trappers iridescent stone but with snares and dream pallets. When a survivor touches a snare or dream pallet it automatically returns after x time.
Or black box just turns him into old freddy.
-
They would probably buff her the same way they are buffing demo by nerfing certain add-ons while giving small buffs to others
-
I miss the old ruin it put the skill back into skill checks. I also felt like I could rely more on my teammates at red ranks. Now I'm lucky if they even attempt to touch a gen or not go down instantly.
-
I've had it where I was stuck in the grab animation for 15 seconds. I had to just watch them complete the gen while stuck.

With DL you need at least 7stacks to be around the same level as four injured with thana.

I'm a rank 1 killer but I have not put a lot of hours into Trapper. Considering he is very bad at gen defense I have been using Pop, Corrupt, Surge, and Oppression to keep the gens from popping. Does anyone have any other good builds I can use for Trapper in Red Ranks?
You could use a tracking perk instead of oppression. Personally I would drop surge unless you get a lot of value from it.
-
Rancor roulette
Rancor, nemesis, fugitive chase, remember me

Unless they increase the regression of affected gens they need to lower the cool down

Some maps on xbox even have dark spots that make it almost impossible to see a survivor.

No not really, but ok.
If a killer would hook a survivor and you suddenly get a reveal debuff it would be pretty obvious that they have bbq.
