My interest in either are completely separate.

I actually haven't been getting any nurses (sadly, my fave killer to play against) but I am definitely guilty of using a syringe in almost every survivor game atm. The nerf is just so bad I don't want them in the future. I get that they were annoying, but damn.
This is me too.
I rarely ever bring ANYTHING into a match, items or addons. I've used an instaheal only a handful of times in the last three years.
And now I'm rushing through my supply because just like BNPs, they're about to loss almost all value.
-
It means they couldn't fix the most crippling glitches as fast as they hoped they could.
-
It doesn't really mean anything to say 'wikis aren't always correct' unless you have any reason to think this particular one isn't. But it is.
Mind you, he was supposed to be Chinese, but that was suddenly changed (take a guess why...)
-
This means I have more time to rip through my hoard of Instas. There's always a silver lining.
-
Well, no one can say you didn't at least try...
-
All survivors know who the real enemy is.
-
As a Claudette main, oh yeah... tell me about it...
The joys of playing Claudette is the sheer "thrill" of being at least three times as likely to have someone lecture you in post-chat about how " No Claudette, you shouldn't do this," "OMG Claudette why did you do that," etc. It's as if some players are just conditioned to see Claudettes and tell them how to play.
And I can safely say it happens way more often as Claudette than when I play Meg or Dwight, or anyone else. I don't play Nea or Feng so maybe it's the same for the other toxic stereotypes. But no matter what, it's obnoxious, and you're right OP. After getting berated by some random for existing, it's hard to go into the next game with a non-toxic attitude.

Well, breathing is replaced by grunts of pain when survivors are injured, right? The perk would be useless if it just made you breathe normally.
-
The 'less perks' part already exists for Survivors. It's called WGLF, which does nothing but reward you for playing sub-optimally and running one less functional perk.
-
"Recently", or the last time I was playing much, every Ace I ran into was a total potato.
Historically, Jake.
-
My option isn't there but; I don't really use the Shrine since I have most of the perks and it offers a perk I both don't have and want about... well, the problem is it never does.
I've purchased a single perk this entire year [Head-on]. That means I've used the Shrine once this entire year.
The only other thing it's good for is to get quick BP during the PTB. Shrine needs a major overhaul.
-
Daily reminder that people begged and screamed for Dedicated Servers for years as if somehow servers would mean no more lag, teleporting, or glitches, etc.
-
To join you and one other Survivor in holy matrimony.
Really though, they changed how Survivors are distributed across maps a long time ago (because, yes, originally they didn't realize having Survivors start separated was BAD for killers, and the opposite for them starting together) but the Shrouds were apparently never updated to reflect any of those tweaks.
-
Okay. Or... maybe instead of that.... the killer should just break the darn pallet.
-
Legacy Pants and Head Claudette + her Hallowed Blight Apron. I've never liked that default shirt she has, whether it's the legacy, prestige, or basic pink version. Being able to mix the other Legacy parts with something else that's gold was perfect for me.
-
Virtually everything in the game could justifiably be nerfed if we use the shaky reasoning the devs have given for the Nurse/Instaheal changes.
-
"Adam who?"
- BHVR, probably,
-
We've been petitioning for F I N G E R G U N S for years :(
-
Voted Hag, but like the OP I also completely forgot about the Clown.
Honestly, it's pretty neck-and-neck between those two. Every now and then I get a string of Plague or Pig players, but those other two are super rare.
-
Of course not. There has never not been a time in DBD where people have complained about matchmaking ranks for any other reason more than that it allows them to blame something else when they lose. Anything to avoid conceding that they didn't play well.
The only time rank might be a problem is when newbies with no perks go against a full-kitted opposition, but that can happen even if ranks are exactly the same.
-
I'm not sure how "consistence" with other stealth killers is a good thing here. Different killers having special attributes is what sets them apart. Reducing all the variations to a single status effect seems like a step backwards. We gain simplicity and lose flavor.
-
I'll get the last piece for Dwight that I missed last year and that might be it. I might try to unlock Jake's set. But he's still level 1 after three years if you want to talk about how much I'll actually use it.
-
I think you know the answer to that question.
-
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Sabo never should have been nerfed the second time.
-
Gen times are not getting touched again.
-
Meg deserves a glorious Hallowed outfit.

I swear devs have a foot fetish
Their most recent original killer wearing a severed toe as a symbol of divine providence was a pretty big hint.
-
So instead of shirtless Myers we get barefoot Myers? Hm...
Good round of cosmetics, mostly for killers. Some of that Day of the Dead(?) stuff for Survivors though... eep.
And does Adam even exist at this point. I was considering buying him but his base cosmetics are awful and he keeps getting skipped over every round.
-
It's a new character related to the Archives.
Probably not a killer.
-
I actually don't get too attached to anyone. Even as a "Claudette main", in a given session I probably don't even play her most of the time, or even more than some other survivors. She is usually the first to get a new perk, but I spread out my attention.
-
Yes, I'm ready for nothing to change.
-
I really hope we get some truly great cosmetics this round. I've been underwhelmed by the last few batches.

No, it's very funny to watch, I expect to read that it's the end of DBD, it's the apocalypse.
I almost want to take screenshots of all this to make it a best-of.
Go ahead. One day we'll look back at all these melodramatics and laugh...
(And that day is today)

Baby Claudette <3
Me too! We've have a lot of hints and hype for this thing, I hope it delivers. DBD needs a spark right about now, imo.

I'm half hoping it's a nerf to insta heals so we get another round of the forum exploding.
Then get your popcorn ready because there's a pretty good chance that's what's happening.

I love how this thread is taking two game states the OP has no firsthand experience with (one because it doesn't exist yet and one because they weren't around) and pretends there's any point being made by such forced comparisons.
Adjusting the strongest killer in the game is the equivalent of taking the game back to Summer 2016. Sure...
-
One killer being in a league of its own above everything else in the game is not something that should have been unaddressed for this long.
None of that time spent mastering her is lost either. Freddy mains had to relearn everything with his update. That's not what's happening here. Her base kit is getting adjusted, not replaced.
-
"Only issue was the addons", please, on console maybe. The Nurse has existed far outside all the standard rules of the game for years. This isn't news. Fixing that isn't a bad thing.
-
To respond to a few of the suggestions in this thread, I think that people talk plenty about It Follows, The Descent, Dog Soldiers and 30 Days of Night. They're some of the more well-known modern horrors. The Descent probably gets passed over a little bit because of the disaster of a sequel. I thought it was great; wasn't a fan of either Dog Soldiers or 30 Days of Night though.
House of Wax remake, My Bloody Valentine, Quarantine, and Hush were all good movies imo. Cooties is just a funny premise with very weak delivery... again, imo. Cloverfield is the classic that unfortunately also begot the neverending plague of terrible found footage films that we still haven't seen the end of. @Attackfrog I might have to give MMT a try then, because I have skipped over it every time I've seen it playing for the exact reason that I don't like Cooper. :P
While none of these are my favorites, some good horror movies that surprised me since I hadn't heard much about them are...
Pontypool
The Pyramid
Simon Says (it's a quintessential slasher flick)
Tamara

Claudette, because when the game came out she was the "healer" of the group and I wanted to play that role.
-
I don't know about having Jane in her own tier. None of her cosmetics change up her look very much.
-
No, people should stop making Pennywise posts.
-
I am a bit disappointed too. I only unlocked 5/6 parts for Survivors last time, so I suppose now I don't have to worry about having to play too much. Which is great since I haven't been playing recently but... I would have preferred something to work towards. The killers look awesome, but that makes it sting all the more that there's only something for Jake instead of not Jake and Meg. If they didn't want to do yet another outfit for Meg, there are plenty of other survivors who need more content, like Adam, Jeff, or Jane.
And let's be real, they know full well that almost no one plays Jake. For him to be the ONLY Survivor getting an outfit is a bit bizarre. Despite how overused she is, if there was only going to be a single survivor getting outfit, Meg would have been a lot better choice.
-
Squadette.
-
Not even in the top 5 and it's not even close.
-
This thread is helping put me in the Fall mood. I'm looking forward to a horror movie binge session this weekend.

So it's stated somewhere? I'm guessing in the old post with the release of the cosmetics? Pig's weapons are very unique with nothing else like them.
When it was released there was a minor controversy over the premium price. It's hard to find an official comment on it now, though.

@Micheal_Myers said:
Yeah it used to be 1080... Hmmm...
No it didn't.
The outfit simply costs more. The justification, evidently, is because the weapon it comes with has a special animation. The price isn't a mistake.
