The devs should have checked those "OP" add-ons and it's cool that she have currently ultra rare add ons but they are not even worth of it. I mean, his very rare add ons now are better than her future ultra rare add ons.
-
If it was 5 m/ s (125%) MAYBE I would consider it as a good change and still just consider it, not saying it will be good enough.

Ehhh, perhaps a little lack of skill if you miss while also having a speed boost.
Maybe just a bit.

No but if you miss a hit on a survivor you lose a stack of the perk, Hence the skill
There would be no counter play
The perk is almost trash, and failing a hit doesn't mean you are lack of skill.
-
If Nancy had the endurance Status Effect from BT it only lasts for 15 secs so if you win Bloodlust tier I you're free to hit her. I did that in a match, where I had the same "problem" that you had, I simply extended the chase 15 secs and then goodbye BT.
-
Nah, I am left handed and it's ok for me, besides that means they need to re-do some of the animations again just for one survivor. Besides it's not like it have some impact in-game.
-
It's a casual game. I mean even if you have to level up your characters that doesn't mean you can't play with friends. And besides, the game idea is cool. I would like to see new objetives though.
-
@Bazzajack said:
Nah it takes all the skill out of the perk
Skill? It doesn't require skill to find the obsession and let it go.
-
Ouch. I clicked no by mistake. I am ok with own chase themes.

I think it would be fine but killers still won’t use it
True. I see a lot of perks that may have great potential for killers and not being too bad on the beginners at the survivor's side. The thing with nefing killer perks is to prevent non experienced survivors to have an overwhelming experience but the truth is... killers should have more power than they have.
-
The End Game Collapse was intended to avoid taking killer as a hostage. Perhaps it's not the best solution but is the best idea at the moment.
-
@Mr_K said:
I don't think it would.
Only time PWYF was good was on release. It was bugged that hitting your obsession was the same as losing chase so you gain a token. The speed boost was also higher.
Now the only good use is T3 Myer's with a tombstone (full or piece).
I was thinking in adding a token as well but that means losing four chases. I joined the game when Clown was released so I am watching the perk history and I like the speed bost that the perk gave you when it was released.
-
Nope. DS is in a good point at the moment. The only change for me would be
- If you succefully hit the skill check, the killer receive a stun for 5 seconds if you're the obsesion. If you're not the obsesion the killer is stunned for 3 seconds
This is the only thing DS needs, an incentive for being the obsession.

Makes sense to me me thx!
Depend on the killer and the add-on. But first I would recommend to avoid it or use the common add-ons. When you understand more or less how the power works then yes, start using them as they balance the aspect you're lacking or boost them if you are good.
-
He is quite balanced. Yes, a SWF will be a hard match for him but... He is good.
-
It's true that a SWF have a voice command but honestly there is not much to say or a lot of advantage, just "the killer is following me" , "the killer is [Insert killer's name]", "the killer is camping me" , also I run kindred when I play with my brother as an example, it helps to know where other survs are, even when I play with my cousin and my brother I run it. Yes, SWF generally are better in co-op (and not every SWF is) but there are a lot of people who play solo that have high skill enough to do a flashlight save as an example. And yes, it's a pain that a SWF decide to t-bag you but instead of complain about SWF you should bring ideas to buff solos and killers equally
If you see a survivor in a SWF who brings flashlight is highly probable that he/she will do flashlight saves, if you even knowing that decide to ignore it and play like they are solos (or potatoes) then it's your fault.
-
I had a game exactly like that a few months ago, I was 15 mins searching for them until I had the idea of searching in the basement... When I found them they instantly DC.
I like to win as a survivor, but you can't expect that you will win every match, some survs have this line of thinking "if I don't win I will bother the killer" and that's not cool. Maybe something like this.
If gens remains without being touched in 5 mins then they become blocked and the EGC begins.

It would be more for survivors, two more survivors than killers. The number is for the current game with 17 killers. It could very well be less if lvl 50 webs became cheaper. The average cost before was around 48k per web.
Well, I can't remember all but 50k as cheap, was only in the big bloodweb that appears in level 50. That was the problem the guy that said that high amount had. The user here used the 50 level bloodweb as an average (wich start to appear from level 30 and not frequently so unless you have level 50 you won't see that giant bloodweb a lot ) but the first ten levels as an example you spend an average between 10k to 15k bloodpoints 11 level to 14 level an average between 15k to 20k. I did to level 35 almost but don't remember exactly the amounts of average BP per bloodweb between levels 15 to 35 so I am sorry if I can't provide that data.
So it's less. I am not saying is not insane but def it's less than most of people says here because they make some mistakes. For example those guys multiply the 50 level bloodweb for all existent perks but... the killer have 3 perks at tier I. Same applies as a survivor.
-
For me it's easier to follow blood stains with sloppy butcher and even easier if you run bloodhound as well. Unless you use predator that makes scratch marks easier to track.

Actually. Is less than that. I did the math with survs a long time ago in a forum but guess the thread was erased. I'll check if I still have the draft though.

I will write few tips that may help you @Sleeve :
First, I know you want to reach level 50 with Trapper but try to have Lightborn (Hillbilly) as a teachable before that, it will make your life easier when you are facing SWF teams and flashlights solo users as well.
There are a few infinites loops. If you are facing a SWF team and a survivor is going there then I'ld recommend you to loss the chase and look for another survivor.
Turn before picking a survivor (this way you avoid some flashlights saves and you force them to deplete the flashlight), if possible facing a wall/object .
Act like everybody is running Dead Hard. Mean if they are Injured, walk until you're close to them in order to hit them.
Act like everybody is running Borrowed Time, if something looks too good to be true (a survivor rescuing closer to you) it's because it is. Go for the unhooker... or you can start the chase with the unhooked and wait until you have Bloodlust tier I in order to hit them.
If there is a survivor blinding you while destroying a pallet and you haven't Lightborn, stop chasing him/her, he/she only wants to entertain you.
This is a bit hard to do but it's a good strategy if you perform it well.
If there is a flashlight user that failed to do a save, and they run borrowed time as well, it's probable that they will chase you. When you're walking to a hook, try to look slighty to his side and go back to where you was looking. When you turn, they will turn on their flashlight trying to blind you so in that way you're forcing them to deplete that flashlight but BE CAREFUL about the survivor you're carrying and don't spend much time, because they are struggling and will free from your grasp. You can be more relaxed if you have Iron Grasp.
That's all what I have to tell at the moment.

Previously I thought it was the one with that room that has the giant portal, but its actually just that generator only one person can do upstairs. It's called the "Isolation Room" Since it's literally just a small room with no windows and a padded walls and ceiling.
From what I could gather, it looked like the Demogorgon came out of that room considering the guy who's on the floor looked like he was flung right outside of the doorway into the wall.
It makes sense. Thanks. I thought it was the one with the portal as well.

Yup, it's the one at the very top. The room where Eleven is in, during season 1. Or at least I'm pretty sure that's the room. it's the one man gen at the top.
Thanks. I didn't watch the TV show although my family recommended me to do it.

No, you're just extremely unlucky unfortunately... As the map was spawning in for me... no actively, but semi-actively during the first day. For me, I was able to get all the achievements (Except Denied! that was impossible to get on the first day) ON the first day, and I was lucky enough to get a offering for the map to go there and get a team that was willing to help me survive to get the achievement for that map.
I'm sorry to hear you're not able to get the map consistently, or at all... But I think because of how many maps there are, it's quite hard to land on it in the first place normally. In your case, you're just EXTREMELY unlucky to not get it within 50 hours...
What is the special gen? I suppose it's the one on the third floor right?
-
Even if I hate toxic people. A SWF team is a bunch of players with friends. Besides it takes a lot of time to find a match as a killer.
-
Although I think it will fix the queue times, I think it won't be fair for a console user deal with a PC player who is allowed to turn faster than console players.
-
Nurse is going to be changed, and his add-ons mostly. I bet a lot of them will cause blindness status effect on survs. LOL
-
I don't like it as a survivor but as a killer is... fine? I mean, some killers have serious rough times, like Nurse. I just played the map with the demogorgon and he is literally made for that map.
-
@TheRockstarKnight said:
Nurse, Hag, Pig, and, despite your insistence to the contrary, Spirit are all undead already.
So, why not add more?
Nurse is not really dead, she was heavily injured but was alive. Hag turned himself into some kind of monster when she draw that seal. Pig... I don't think it's really dead. She took a bullet but perhaps the Entity saved her? Spirit is not technically an undead because she is not alive anymore, it's just her spirit or her soul if you want to look that way. So, technically she is dead, just her spirit is "alive" but she is dead.

😮

I didn't know that there was a poll section until yesterday.
-
It doesn't need for a buff.
The demogorgon had a buff about breaking pallets, wich right now he is in a very good spot. And his perks are pretty good, I would change Mindbreaker a bit.
I got 2 kills when I tested it on the PTB against a SWF red rank team, and I didn't know how to use portals.
Anyway I'ld rather than instead of buffing new characters, they focus on buffing old ones like Clown or Pig (I am a Pig main by the way, so I would love to see a little love for her).
-
Haddonfield and The Game but don't know in wich order.

And in the lobby the killer can see the survivors and their items and CHOOSE to play against them but suvivors can't see the killer and refuse to play with him. And sure you don't think this is unfair.
That's a bad point... the killer can see their items, but they don't know the quality of the item itself, meaning if I see a survivor with a map it can be a normal one or a rainbow map. Besides it's not fair that an average killer is forced to play nurse or spirit because there could be red ranks survivors. That being said, nurse is hard to control and spirit need to be purchased, so Why a killer is forced to play the "OP killers" to have a slighty chance?
This game is not supposed to be competitive but red ranks survivors play to win. Using tryhard perks. And you will say "the perks are on the game and you can use them if you want" wich is truth but not only that, they use the fast actions to bother the killer and get toxic when they see that a killer is in a lower rank and have less experience (I had a lot of games against toxic SWF red ranks teams when l was less experienced and let me tell you, it was not fun) so I am ok with this change.
-
The problem is not if you "can escape" if you have X build or perform X strategy. The thing is that should be able for you to escape without that X build. It's like saying "it's fair because NOED spawned in the middle of the map", totems should not spawn in the middle of the map and the gates should not appear, let's say in less than 32 meters from each other.
-
Esto debería ir en "technical issues" , además te recomiendo que lo escribas en inglés. Aquí te lo dejo
Yesterday at the evening I bought the Plague, I played normally with her, I reached level 8 and today I was going to play and the killer was in level 1 again. I didn't have problems with any other killer besides her.
-
@LapisInfernalis said:
Your strong connection to the Entity let's you see what others can't. While in chase, you are able to see your Red Stain as long as the chase lasts. CLEAR EYE has a cooldown of 30/15/0 seconds.
I like the concept of Fixated, that you can see thing's you normally can't, so I had the idea for a similar perk for the killer where he can see his Red Stain. This is for newer killers or killers who want to practice mindgames, but have difficulties to get a feeling for the Red Stain. The cooldown is just numbers, because I do not know what to add else for the different tiers. The perk should only activate while ich chase, because it could be distracting when active all times.
What do you think.
I'll change a few things so it will be "Fixated kiler version", maybe it will need another name. When you're chasing for far too long you feel an inner strenght in you. The bloodlust speed is 5/10/15% bigger.
Also I would make a short cooldown, like 15/10/5 because it's not like the perk has a lot of uses.

This thread was made so survs won't bully killers cuz of new people, they expect us to lose our ranks so they can gain ranks and go against killers that would utterly destroy them
Look, this is a toxic community (whether I like it or not) and there are survivors and killers who bully each other. People generally weaker/inexperienced (like in real life) than them. Also, stop the "us killer vs survivor" thing. You can play either role if you want.
-
What was the point of open this thread exactly?
I bet if @Rizzo90 was here they would tell something like "stop calling names" or something like that.

So with that logic we should buff ruin because it's a anti-gan rush perk but any survivors can stop it ( gen tap)
Gen tap doesn't stop ruin, sometimes just a tap start a skill chek, besides if survivors tap then ruin is doing his work. The generators won't be rushed while tapping, because it takes an eternity to have a generator fully repaired just by tapping it. So no, it's not the same.
Ruin prevent gen-rushing not gen repairing. Hitting the great skill check is hard for a lot of players, even if you're good, that doesn't mean you don't fail, a lot of "pro survivors" fail skill checks with ruin because no one is perfect.
-
BT wouldn't be stronger. It will work as intended. If you call anti-camping perk to a perk based on the killer TR then it's not. If someone go for an unsafe hook when you're around only because BT triggers then change your play style and go for the unhooker. It's pretty easy. Right now I use that when I play killer and see a SWF. I assume they have BT and try to go for the unhooker or spend 15 secs in-chase, so the endurance effect will banish.
I know SWF teams with tryhard perks are a bother, don't missunderstand me I really know and I feel angry when the main purpose of a SWF team is bully the killer. Also, it happens to me as a survivor, I don't like when I see 3 SWF guys bullying a killer, and I say 3 because I am the only one doing gens because I have anything better to do, more than clean totems.
-
Perks are supposed to be a general think. I mean a perk can work whatever the killer is. It looks good on paper and I don't want to discourage you. Don't missunderstand me, I'ld like to see a rework of wake up though.

WGLF is strictly BP-farming perk with no extra effects, while BBQ also grants strong Survivor Aura reading for the Killer.
Also, You should've been here when WGLF granted 200% BP 😉 It was the most
funbroken thing.Sorry but the aura reading is not strong. As a main survivor I say that.
-
Bamboozle was buffed? It needed that buff.
-
I think the iridiscnent one is good and can't be "Too OP" because there is a single difference with Spirit. After Spirit go phase walking, she just appear again but Wraith needs to unclack himself before hitting survivors.
And. I would love if Wraith could walk a bit faster while uncloacking.
Well, I think he needs love because he is really useful when you're starting but after that, he becomes a bit underpowered and I think due to his power he could be closer to Spirit level and still can be a unique killer.
-
I am a main survivor as well and the issue with BBQ is that the perk is....
Pretty powerless. What? Did you expected a main survivor biased opinion? Not everyone is biased here people.
But yeah, BBQ needs to change because the only good thing is points. I thought the same before I had Leatherface. "BBQ is too strong" and in the reality, you don't do anything with 4 seconds.

I was thinking a long time about MoM. The biggest issue most seam to have, it's a free hit with no counter.
Maybe changing the requirements from hits to successfully pallet-stun a killer we could get some counterplay in, an expression of skill and risk vs reward. 3 palletstuns would be to easy, but maybe 5-6? The good thing, with this change the devs would have a better option to tweak the numbers and killers have some counterplay options.
Do I respect a pallet or not, can I read a survivor successfully and avoid the pallet drop or can I use it to my advantage? I can counter it with Spirit Fury and Endurance, so if I am worried about MoM I can use it to my advantage if I'm smart.
@Peanits what do you think? Could this be something the dev-team could work with?
Actually that's kinda better. The pallet stun is consistent, not like protection hits.
-
Well, adding new game styles or another objetives would help as well. As an example The Chinese New Year events (the last one), where the survivors needed to grab lanterns and the killer, destroy them. Like this.
After repairing all generators you need to find a fuse and put it in a fuse box in order to power the exit gates. Being creative will help the game to improve, and not actually being the same. It's not an easy work but it will be good for the game.
