This wouldn't do anything.
Anytime a new killer releases, killer lobbies take longer than normal, because even some survivors want to try it out. If anything you're just making it better for people that will continue to play the game since they won't need to wait so long.I mean, go ahead if you want, but there are more constructive ways to get your point across than some half-ass "strike". Give them proper feedback (posts in feedback subforum with actual substance rather than rants, give fair options/ideas besides "NERF THIS NAO!").

I have screen shots of pretty much every picture in any map (including Anna's family I'm assuming it is???) and some random news clippings (One about miniature horses missing from dodge county that can be found in both Gideon and Badham!) if there's any interest.
Me and my friend may have gone on a wild goose chase after Not_Queens initial comment haha. -
Well I guess that rules out the Teacher since that is in the game files.
I really hope its not the stupid ass creeper (politics aside, the movies aren't even good), but based on stream comments and flavor text on Feng's new outfit... ughAlthough some of the concept art in Haddonfield and Badham I hadn't seen before. Is this one new, or from the Saw DLC?

Yeah, lets let typical high rank people reset to bully new players and make it so they don't want to continue playing the game! 10/10 idea, who needs new players anyways right....
If anything they just need longer seasons and more ranks (or make it harder to rank up). Its way to easy to hit rank 1 within a season as it is. Hopefully the previously mentioned leaderboards shake it up a bit.

Plus I'm pretty hopeless as it is, so like... it wouldn't take that long to end up as a killer. That seems a bit less dreary than the monotony of endlessly running in circles and the pain after all those squats.

Honestly I'd volunteer too. I already waste tons of time modding on another platform for DbD, I can even stop shitposting if needed too (at least on here, there's always reddit for that).
I think we all just want the forums to be something good for the community... well, most of us at least.
At least if there are ever mod applications, are they made public? Or is it always from discord/handpicked from recommendations/etc.
Side note : Lowbei for admin, or at least official forum mascot.

12-8 are my favorite ranks to play in. Luckily I play on 2 platforms so I just swap over to the other to get back to enjoyable games again until rank reset once I end up in the dreaded reds. Hate to say it, but pipping has become too easy as killer.

@jakeb_1993 You can communicate, flail on hook = camping. (Spam attempt escape, but cancel before actually attempting). Sadly some streamers like to flail to say "Save me" (Ahem, HybridPanda), but it means camping, that was pretty much agreed upon upon release.
If you're playing SWF, just tell them. If you play solo, run kindred 3 if you've come across a lot of campers during that gaming session. Plus if they do go ahead and make Kindred baseline for survivors (even if it's just tier 2) you'll be able to figure out what's going on pretty easily.
but lol @ calling killers OP or the game killer favored. Play some more, learn the game mechanics, and honestly as you rank up you'll get less campers. I rarely ever come across them above rank 12, and if I do get camped above those I typically deserve it by playing like a jerk (sorry, not sorry killers) or if the gates are open (it's the smartest move at that point to guarantee a kill, not even mad).

There is a penalty... time.
Time is a killers most valuable resource, if they waste time camping someone hooked, 3 gens can be popped (if they're all on separate gens).It's a legit strat, and it can be fought with either making them lose the game by using that time to rush gens, or if you have some ballsy teammates, they can get you unhooked with a bit of team work (even better if someones running borrowed time).
Camping will never leave this game, it's always been here and always will be, so instead just learn how to work around it. If someone else is being camped, hop on gens and get those going. If you're the one being camped, flail like no tomorrow so everyone knows to work gens. Waste that killers time by making him stick around (aka don't DC, and don't suicide on hook) to at least help your team and punish that killers strat.

The forums are still new. I don't think they knew what they were getting into with it as far as moderation needed since Steam has its own thing going on with Anti-spam. Hopefully they add some more mods in to help with the growing pains until they have a good system in place to fight bots.
Hell, I mod a 7.5k DbD FB group with only 4 others and we manage fine, so I'm sure BHVR will get this cleaned up soon(tm).

No, honestly I regret it every season. High ranks are the worst, long wait times to get matches, players are typically jerks (Looking at you event hook sabo squads!), and you get literally nothing for being in those ranks.
Plus jumpscare myers can be looped for days, and the higher the rank, the better the loopers. It will be hell. -
Its fine imo. Tbh if I go against an M1 killer I just clear all the totems because I expect it. Usually only get caught off guard by a Myers running it.
Now if it was back in the non-hex unlimited days, I'd agree it needs a change, but it's fine as is. People just cry about it because they latch onto any excuse for losing besides their own misplays (OP, crutch, wahhh).

I'll grab it when it comes to console in 2019 (Source https://forum.deathgardengame.com/discussion/686/early-access-kicks-off-august-14th-with-a-free-week ), I played the Alpha and Beta on PC but I prefer controller so I'll wait until it's an even playing ground.
It's never going to replace DbD to me but I still had fun as runner, hopefully the mask exclusives also make it to console so I can spruce up my Meg.

Pretty much reskinned Lunar Event, but I'm honestly 100% good with it. I love having actual challenges to do!
Kate shirt is kinda meh, but love the Billy weapon.Just need to remember to keep Hangman's Trick equipped for the jerks deciding it's the perfect time to bring Sabo back to the meta -_-

Myers, he's been around the longest (in game) and has a few options for new cosmetics based on movies.
Freddy - OG Freddy would be awesome, and I would put up with being bullied for it, New Nightmare is another option but ehhhLF at least has alt faces for now, but I super duper want pretty woman LF at some point.

Technically my bf found it and figured I'd love it since I'm a horror fanatic. I never really played anything online multiplayer before and was weirdly nervous but still tried it at launch. Quickly became addicted with over 1k hours between 2 platforms (PC and Ps4), mod a pretty large DbD FB group, and spend way to much time playing/posting about/watching others play. I blame landing a sweet chainsaw on the magic juke bus back in the infinites days. It felt SO good getting that cocky bastard.
Plz send help. Is there like a DbD anonymous group. I could have accomplished so much in the time wasted from this.

File a ticket, a few friends have had partial loss of progress after 2.0 and got some BP refunded (not a whole lot but hey it's worth taking a few min to submit, and at least 1 person actually got a response/action within 2 hours).

Same, I've avoided grabbing Hangmans trick from my bloodwebs (because lol garb perk), but now I'm grinding it out to get ready for the sudden influx of sabo squads.
Already have all perks on my main survivor, so that's easy enough to get a gen rush build going (providing it's the same as the lunar gen deal).
Here's hoping that no preparations are actually needed, and people don't play like toxic jerks this time around though.

I'm glad it's at least decent now, it was garbage after the initial machine gun nerf tbh.
Plus when I play survivor and end up the obsession (once I confirm its not from dying light) you can bet your ass I'm bodyblocking and popping gens in their face. It's hilarious imo.

This is why SB will always be king of exhaustion perks. No downsides (killers learning to play around it like after the 1st DH), no conditions (injured, needing a vault or fall), and won't get screwed by exhaustion causing killer addons mixed with the new changes.
I liked running DH occasionally, but too many downsides at the moment.

Not even a killer main and I'm happy.
Some perks got some good buffs and are actually worth running now, exhaustion nerf barely even did anything to SB and is literally just as usable as ever (there has been 1 time I wasn't recovered in time, ONE TIME, no big deal folks), and I'm finally getting a variety of killers (I've actually gotten some Hags, in public matches. I would go weeks without seeing a single one before!).I love this update, even the bugs (0 terror radius is fun and hilarious imo. I want this to stay or have an option to use in KYF at least).

I play both and I will respect your opinion if it's presented well.
If it's just "Dead game! Everyone go on strike and leave bad reviews, I'm getting my lawyer because nerfs! ANYONE WHO DISAGREES IS A CHILD PARROT" then no, I will call you out on your BS.
Sadly I see more of that than any actual discussions or reasonable debates of what someone finds to be an issue, suggestions to make things better, etc.
When someone finally makes a topic that's constructive instead of just spewing toxic hatred, I'm sure they'll get better discussions going. -
I get full lobbies nearly instantly on both PS4 and PC (mid ranks though since I've been playing more survivor the last few seasons), NA region.
High ranks are always slow though if you're up in the reds sadly
(It's not from survivors quitting, steam just hit its all time highest player count, don't fall for the woe is me crybabies)
