There are some unintentionally funny comments on here:
'Clown is laughable' - Breaking news - man laughs at clown.
'He is well rounded' - so he likes a pie dont be mean to poor Kenneth...
'He is like a trapper with no traps'. Indeed. Also like a wraith that cant turn invisible and a nurse who cant teleport.

I like Nurses Calling on Clown paired with Monitor and Abuse.
You can usually get close enough to plant a bottle right on their heads. Probably not the best tactic but I find it fun.

Playing on base ps4 survivor is good enough. Killer is not unplayable but the fps is not great and does make it easier for survivors to juke and escape.
I don't have any expectation now for improvements on console. -
Hopefully they can do something like Word of Tanks did.
You could carry all your progress and purchases from Xbox 360 to XB1.

I think the canker event showed the game is more balanced than many people think.
Just giving that one extra thing for survivors to do really tipped the balance in favour of the killers.
This idea with parts would do the same thing. -
Playing killer how are you supposed to find the lantern after you hook someone???
Seems very tough - am I missing something?

Not excited at all or relishing playing on PS4 but somehow feel compelled to take part so as not to miss out on free stuff.

Well worth just buying the bbq DLC for £4 - you even get a free leatherface with it.
Franklin's and KO are also fun perks! -
I like him. I get my best results with clown.

People are taking longer and longer breaks from this game - the rank system for most people no longer applies.

I have been researching the same issue for the last 6 months but don't really know what I'm doing and the results have been inconclusive.
I think it probably is random though based on some things I measured and recorded. Also I think there is a grace period when a new perk is released it cant go in the shrine for 6 weeks. Did you know that?Anyhow my calculations show there is an 80% chance of BBQ appearing sometime in February. So that's re-assuring.

The DLC is quite cheap as it doesn't have a survivor with it. Not only is BBQ a great perk but so are Franklins Demise and Knock Out. You also get a Leatherface.
So if you want it just buy it!

Slugging is unreliable and undignified. After you have caught the last one who knows where the other guy has crawled to? My method of insidiously camping the hook is low effort, achieves equal or better results and is also cunning and evil.

No you insidious camp the hook. Because you haven't used it all game they don't expect it. Obvs run the risk they go for the hatch but I have had great success with it.

I find that most of the more obnoxious skins blend into the scenery quite well once you actually get in a game.
Apart from white tennis meg that is - can spot her a mile away.

I feel your frustration. My personal pattern with this game is that I take breaks and then come back to it – usually during an event or new killer.
(Although I’m finding that the breaks are becoming longer and the time spent playing getting shorter….)

Sounds like you have had plenty of fun and hours out of the game.
Nothing lasts forever. Nothing wrong with moving on to another game when you are tired of the current one.
And who knows after a break you may come back refreshed?

I was 100% serious. You are (or your mentally is) part of the big problem we have with games.
Not much I can do about it now.
But next time I am collecting bonus blood points and tracking survivors with BBQ I will take a moment to reflect on the insanity in the gaming industry I have unwittingly been a part of…

But others do not. I've seen perks for just about EVERY single killer pop on the shrine, most of which include all three of any killers perks.
Yet still no BBQ. I mean if Behavior just wants people to buy Leatherface for it, that is fine, but then ALL movie DLC characters perks should be removed from the shrine as well.

What do you see that this idea wouldnt work?
Faster paced game - is there time to stop and write / read messages.
What useful information could you possibly leave for others?
Trolling / humour messages would get old fast (especially if chosen from set presets like Dark Souls)

Looking at the wiki I get the impression that playing survivor will be more lucrative on average?
Escape with a vessel gives you 20 points and each gen done gives every(?) survivor 4.
Killers get 1 for a hook and 3 for destroying a vessel.

The only idea I have is that if a killer grabs the survivor as they are jumping in the hatch some sort of skill check face off occurs and if the survivor wins they escape else they are picked up.
